Honeypaw chuckled, following Lionpaw.
Splashpaw bounced after her, Foxpaw, Snowpaw, Goldenpaw and Blackpaw at her side.
Roarpaw stood up, grinning. "My siblings come at last!"
"Roarkit!" Honeypaw's eyes lit up.
"Roarpaw." Roarpaw smiled.
"You're alive!" Splashpaw squealed, running forward.
"I expected something stupid but wow." Blackpaw grinned.
"My brotha'!" Foxpaw nudged Roarpaw.
"My brotha'!" Roarpaw grinned.
Snowpaw smiled "Oh Roarpaw."
"Where have you been?" Goldenpaw nuzzled her brother, who nuzzled each of them.
"I told you where I was going before I left." Roarpaw's gaze met Honeypaw's. "I went to find our parents.
Honeypaw looked at him, silent, but the smile on her face fell.
Feircestorm then stepped from behind the bush, and looked at them. His gaze landed on Honeypaw, and a small smile crossing his maw. He said nothing, but the giant maine coon flicked his tail.
Lionpaw, Oakpaw, Palepaw, Frostpaw, and Coonpaw watched in silence.

Foxpaw gasped, even Splashpaw had no words. Blackpaw went rigid with shock, and Goldenpaw and Snowpaw only stared, mouths agape.
Honeypaw's gaze flickered from Swiftbreeze to Fiercestorm. Her eyes were wide, like her siblings, but there was an unreadable expression in her gaze. Almost disbelief, as if she wasn't sure these were really her mother and father. Fear, like they would disappear if she moved or spoke and that would be it.

Falconclaw's own green hues narrowed once more, the calmness leaving them and he opened his maw to give her a sharp retort before stopping. That wouldn't work. A sharp answer was not the way to speak to a clanmate, and certainly not one like Amberwish...to him, it seemed the more frustrated he was, the angrier she seemed to become. "I never said you couldn't. These cats are not idiots; they are quite intelligent. Not that you aren't, but they are capable of pure evil. You may be able to hold your own but against them you are probably helpless." Falconclaw mewed with an unreadable expression. He guessed that the ginger she cat probably wouldn't take that very well. It wouldn't surprise me. She definitely needs to learn to keep her mouth shut- she'll go too far one day. Offend the wrong cats. And she won't have a single cat on her side to tell her when she's overdoing it- I certainly won't. If she's mousebrained enough to mess with a Dark Forest supporter, she doesn't deserve the protection I can provide. The tom thought with a low hiss, although it was inaudible.
"Well it is a pleasure to meet you, Amberwish. You are quite the...interesting warrior, I suppose. It's not every day I am accused of being a Dark Forest supporter, and it is not every day that I meet a cat as spirited as yourself." Falconclaw mewed with another half smile. It was awkward, and almost painful to watch...though whether that was because of his half smile or because his whole posture was one of discomfort, as though he were hiding some great secret from her. "Oh no, leaf-bare is my absolute favorite season. I absolutely adore the freezing cold and wetness, don't you?" Falconclaw asked. He had meant it as a sarcastic comment, although because of his deeper, more authoritive voice, it sounded quite serious. Anyone who happened to look at him and hear what he had just spoken might have been quite confused, as the two didn't quite add up.
"Yes, I know. That is why I cautioned you against them earlier. I was not trying to offend you and I apologize if I did so. I was simply hoping to discourage you from trying to be a hero. You would do well to remember that these cats are not loyal to ThunderClan. They will not hesitate to attack a clanmate; or rather, as I believe they now view us...traitors." Falconclaw mewed in a calm tone. The tom glanced over at his companion in an almost sly manner, although he did not mean it to come across that way. If anything he was merely trying to see his companion and new acquaintance- a cat he was beginning to consider as a possible friend. She certainly seemed as though she could use one. And Falconclaw knew that he did...he had no friends at the moment, not after the battle. He would never be friends with a Dark Forest supporter. That would be too much of a shock for him to take.

(They are in TC- Dapplestar is leader of WC, so I'm just going to forget that last part.)

{whoops! Sorry, and sorry for the late reply}
Amberwish narrowed her eyes at the tom, holding back the urge to snap at the tom. Instead of loosing her temper she let out a sigh and turned her head, pouting as she thought about the tom she remark. At his second remark she folded her ears against her head and looked back at Falconclaw with a sheepish grin "Yeah, sorry about that....it's, well, with everything that's been happening and....um.......I'm sorry."she said, smiling awkwardly at the warrior. Ignoring the tom she remark about leaf-bare, instead she turned her amber gaze to the tunnel that lead to the territory, hope fluttered in the mollys heart, she didn't know why, but it did, and it didn't go away until she heard the word 'traitor' roll off the other Warriors toung. She quickly swung her head around, anger flashed in her amber hue she before she realized what he was saying, she loosened up her shoulders and gave the tom a sad smile "I know, it's reckless, but no body's doing anything about it. It's painful to watch, our own clans rotting from the inside out. I hate just watching from the sidelines, whining about something then doing nothing about it. If we're Warriors, then why not act like them? Warriors are supposed to protect their clan, even if it costs them their lives. If we have.... traitors in the clan, if they are a possible threat, then it's our job to drive them out once we know that they do pose a threat. I may not look like much, I may not be the strongest, but that doesn't mean I won't try." she said, for the second time in her life, no emotion was evident on her face, all of it was poured into her deceleration. She knew that she couldn't do it alone, but if she hadn't to, she would, even if it broke her, even if it wounds her badly inside out, even if it kills her, she would do anything to keep the innocent and honorable alive and well.

'Oh great, one's coming,' she thought. She attempted to avoid eye contact, up until the other she-cat started talking to her. She simply glared at her, hoping she'd simply go away. She quickly turned her attention back to watching the other kits playing, hoping that would be enough to get the other kit to go away.

She looked at the other kit with a weird face, did they hear her or were they just really creppy standing there? She took a step further and poked the kit on the muzzle. "Helloo~ Are you dead?" she asked with a smile and a hit of amusement in her voice. "Are you the ghost of ratnight comming to hunt us?" She wanted to make this kit play with her, but they seemed deaf at first. She moved her face right in front of theirs, and she smelled the she.

Storkpaw wiggled his haunches, waiting for her attack, when he noticed her disturbed gaze. It took him a moment to think back back over his words, to figure out what exactly he had said that had upset her. He sighed inwardly as he remembered her breakdown when Ashstar disappeared and Ratnight returned. He had. Supported her then, why was he so mouse brained and careless that he had brought it up, especially when he knew it was a sensitive matter with her. He watched her carefully, waiting to see how her emotions would develope. Fortunately for him, he watched her discontent turn to mischief again and continue the game. "Maybe not necessarily evil, just...maybe different than your normal leader." He said tilting his head as he thought up some rules for himself. "Maybe kits could be apprentices at a younger age, and no loners allowed to join the....Clans." He trailed off, immediately catching himself, though too late. He closed his eyes in embarrassment. He himself was originally a loner by descent, and was brought here. "Never mind, scratch that rule, loners are allowed to join, under certain circumstances." He corrected himself. "Wait, wait wait, are you being prideful in taunting me in this way? No claws! Such madness! But if you shall, then I shall be honorable and do so as well." He flexed his claws, ripping up some dirt, before he attacked. He jumped forwards, more in a scare tactic rather than fighting one, and landed two mice length away from her, pushing his wide grin towards her. "No claws it is then." He said slyly.

"Hmm...that doesn't sound bad. If I can defeat you, maybe I'll take that 'kits become apprentices at a younger age.'" Owlkit looked a good deal happier, as though she had almost forgotten this was a game. That she were in a fierce battle in this game, and that if she didn't fight she was going to lose. "Honorable? You? I thought you were, but now that you have tried to take my throne from me my...loyal...servant, I have to say that I no longer believe in your honor. Or loyalty. Even though I like your rules, I believe you are not a fit leader and I will fight you to win." Owlkit mewed. Her tail lashed fiercely and she scowled. Her grey blue hues twinkled in a friendly manner, although it was hard to catch through her playfully fierce scowl.

Owlkit jumped, struggling not to unsheathe her claws as she jumped into the air and came back down, her tail whipping at the air in a ferocious manner. Although it was hard for her to look ferocious when she was nervous, and it showed on her expression. The kit sighed, glancing at the tom as though to see if he had noticed. She had the feeling that he probably had...it would have been pretty hard for him to just ignore it. The she cat darted towards him, taking a flying leap through the air.

She was aiming for the tom's back, and she missed her mark just barely, landing behind him. The she cat began to bat at his tail as though she were indeed a very young kit, playing with her Mother or sibling's tail in the nursery. She thought of Storkpaw as an older brother...except he was better than a brother, she just didn't know how to explain it. Perhaps it was because they had never fought before and she sincerely doubted that they ever would. That made her feel better, and she continued to play with his tail, batting at it with her soft paws, almost forgetting that they were in the middle of a game and Storkpaw might pin her again at any second.

Daypaw pushed his way through the tunnel that lead into the Skyclan clearing, his golden pelt slightly dusted and ruffled from running through the territory. A medium sized mouse swang from his jaws as he padded over to the fresh kill pile, dropping off his catch. The golden tom looked at the pile before shaking his head and padding away, finding a sunny patch and laying himself down with a soft grunt. His blue gaze raked across the clearing, it flickered with sleepiness and curiosity. The golden tom neatly wrapped his paws and rested his muzzle upon his paws. The apprentice let out a sigh and closed his eyes, he let his mind wander, he began to think of the Liberation, of Skyclan, of the EE supporters, but every time he thought of the cats who supported the EE, his mind always drifted back to his brother. He felt guilty, so guilty, he hated it, he couldn't let go of the fact that his own brother supported the EE, even though he helped end it, he couldn't forget, no matter how hard he tried to get rid of the thought, it was still burned in the back of his head. The young apprentice twiched his eyebrows as he thought of his formerly mentor, the way he died, what he said before he died, he would never forget it, he couldn't, it was just as bad as his memory of his brother. He didn't want tom get rid of them though, it's wat made him....him, it's what fourmed the decisions he make and decisions he will make, and he was okay with it. Daypaw let out a snort and opened his eyes, sadness flashing through the blue orbs before it was quickly replaced with curiosity and excitement, looking in the direction of the territory. He couldn't wait until he got another mentor, until he could practice his skills again. Excitement bubbled in his stomach, quickly extinguishing the flames of despair, he picked himself up and lifted his chin, not caring about all the Warriors and apprentices looking at him in confusion "I won't loose to these negative emotions, I won't let the past actions effect my future! I refuse to be beaten and laughed at by the darkness!" he declared , rather loudly in fact, to any cat who was listening, he didn't care I felt he sounded insane, loony, mad, he wanted to get his opinion across, let everyone know what he was thinking, saw what was in his mind, he had to, he was speaking for two. He flicked his tail and looked at the apprentices den and pictured his brother, nightpaw, sleeping peacefully in his nest, his scar red, irritated. He let out a sigh and folded his ears against his head and lowered his eye lids, he wished, he hoped, that his brother would get better, that his brother would speak up for himself, say what was on his mind.....talk to him, his only family member that was left, the only one that was alive. The golden tom let out another sigh and looked around, taking in all the strange looks from all the other cats and making a mental not to himself, reminding himself to speak louder, make them even more confused.

Mapledash came near the entrance to the apprentice's den and peeked his head inside. The smell of the den remembered him his good days when he trained with his own mentor, and how lazy he was about it at first. He looked around in the gloom, but there were so much apprentices still sleeping. Their chattering overcame the sound of his apprentice, and he couldn't tell if they were here. "Jaypaw! You're in here? It's training day, I'll see you in the training cave." he called. He hoped his apprentice remebered this was the day they were suposed to do their hunting practice. This would be his third lesson, so he would need to catch at least two or three preys this time to show his improvement, unless he gets bad luck. He left the den without waiting for an answer and headed for the training cave. --Maybe they DO remember are are waiting for me in there? Who knows.-- he realised for a moment as he padded away and out in the territory.

Jaypaw lifted his head and looked groggily at the den enterance, annoyance washed over him, thinking it wasn't just a loud apprentice before realizing it was his mentor. The silver tom picked himself up with a grunt and shook the moss off 'Why must it always be so early in the morning?' he questioned, not bothering to clean himself before pushing his way through the brambles of the entrance, small tufts of silver fur sticking to the thorns and branches. He stopped in the middle of the clearing and looked around, hoping to spot Mapledash, after a few moments he realized what the warrior said Andy gasped "Foxdung!" he snapped before quickly darting out to the training cave, realizing he was late. It took a few seconds before he finally made it, gasping and out of breath "Sorry, I'm really....a morning bird as one would say." he wheezed out before letting out a snort and straightening his stance, not caring about how ruffled and dirty his pelt was 'It dosent matter, it'll get dingy and muddy later anyways, this isn't training anyways.' he thought, his blue eyes flashed with excitement before he went back to his emotionless expression, awaiting orders from his mentor.

"Yeah...right, thanks for that" DarkKit grumbled. His mother gave him another poke in the side, harder this time, almost knocking the air out of him. "He's lazy, that's what he is!" She sneered. DarkKit felt excluded, excluded from his siblings, his parents, excluded from his whole family...he didn't know what he did to make his own mother hate him so much. He almost wanted to yowl with upset and frustration. His siblings didn't even play with him that much...or even pay attention to him...they were busy playing with the other kits In the nursery...they hated him too. He had no friends...no parents...and hopeless siblings. Why? Why StarClan? Why Me? He called to them in his dreams. Sleeping was the only time he could get away from his abusive life...and just forget it all, lose himself in another world, a more peaceful and gentle world...a world a kit should be living in. Soft like a giant best made of feathers and spongy moss...that's the life he wanted to know better...but unfortunately, he never will...

Hazelkit got up out of her nest and stretched her back legs with a yawn. She looked around and noticed the sun shining outside of the nursery. She watched all the cats walk around outside. Flowerpetal walked inside with a mouse and walked over to her daughters. Hopekit woke up and looked at her mother and sister. "Good morning, my darlings. I brought a mouse for you two to share." purred Flowerpetal with a purr. Gazeshadow walked in and went over to his neices. Flowerpetal droped the mouse in front of her kits and laid down in her nest.
"Shut up! I'm trying to sleep! Isn't there any peace anywhere?" DarkKit yelled to the other kits. He hated the other kits but, only because they hated him back...

Roarpaw chuckled, "Right,"
" Well, its complicated. " he said.
Coonpaw smiled, and looked around. "You know, I think this might just be a happy ending." she purred. "And I never got as lucky as Lionpaw and Honeypaw." she chuckled, and shifted a bit.

"Whatever...yeah thanks..." What kit in their right mind would want to move their furry little tails out if the nursery? It was so warm and comfy in here...then his mother poked him again, this time with her claw, giving him a deep cut. "IF YOU ARE HUNGRY GET THE FOOD YOURSELF!" She bellowed. DarkKit's eyes filled with tears. Why did his mother hate him so much? All he did was sleep. It's not like he tried to kill her or anything bad like that..."actually, DarkKit, you should ask mother for some of her milk. I love that creamy texture..." LemonKit licked her lips and grinned. It seemed obvious to the calico kit that, Sand kit was it, wasn't going to go away. Dusk kit, however, had to admit to herself that she admired the other she-cat's persistence. "Dusk kit, I don't know," she said simply, her voice a slightly crackly. She kept glaring at the other kit, though, still wanting her to simply go away.

"Duskkit? Wow! That fits so perfectly! You're all creepy in the dark here, you could scare badgers!" she complimented the she before having one of her brilliant ideas. "I know! Play badger hide with us! I bet we won't stand a chance!" she called before turning around and running around again in the nursery.

"Hey guys! Dusk will be the badger! Hurry hide before she gets us!" she screamed in fake fear, trying to find a hiding spot in the quite small nursery. She ran behind her mother's tail and crouched
under it, the whole back half of her body poking out. --she will never find me here, hehehe.--

Duskkit glared after the other kit, then rolled her eyes again. 'Guess I'm getting roped into this,' she thought as she stood up. She then walked slowly over to where she saw Sandkit go. 'Best hiding spot ever, Sandkit,' she thought as she saw the other kit's butt in plain sight. She padded over behind her as quietly as she could, thinking she could have a bit of fun with this. When she got close enough, she lightly nuzzled the other kit's backside, just to tickle her fur a bit, then quickly, yet still quietly, got up close to her face on the opposite side of the queen. As soon as Sandkit glanced around, if she did, Duskkit said simply "boo."

Eventually she just sat down and curled her tail around her paws, realizing she was in the middle of the den where every cat could see her. Wrenclaw had failed at getting forgiveness from the cat he once thought he loved. Now he had no one to turn to other than perhaps a few friends or his sister, but he wanted to avoid his sister at this moment. She'd kill him for what he said in the nursery. He'd never meet his kits properly, but he had to ignore the defeat tightening his chest. It was his decision. Sagefrost drove him away and Wrenclaw had to live with this now. With a few paces from the nursery, the unique looking warrior slumped down near the warriors den. His blue hues were misted over with thought and his overall appearance was saddening to look at. Well saddening to those who actually cared. Two rejections within 24 hours, what were the odds? He assumed that his bad deeds had caught up to him and he had to face the consequences that came from now on. He needed a ray of light and so far his sister had failed to show him it. Sagefrost had rejected his apology. No who would he turn to?

Twisted branch saw the saddened warrior. "Are you ok?" she asked as she sat next to him. (i might disappear for a long while.)
Wrenclaw lifted his head and blinked the sadness from his crystal hues as they rested on Twistedbranch. His tail flicked a little, but he nodded weakly. "I'll be fine soon enough, just hurt is all," he replied, looking over the she-cat, almost interested. Perhaps she'd be a good friend? Maybe more? To make Sagefrost mad of course, he added to himself bitterly. No, she's not worth your energy, he thought to himself of Sagefrost, pushing the thoughts away to focus on Twistedbranch. "My former mate won't let me be apart of my kits lives," he gave a fake sigh. He needed to act as though it were Sagefrost's fault they'd split apart. The act was hard to see through as he'd been practicing things like this all his life.

What's up with her?-- She padded again towards the calico and sat down. "Are you shy to come out in the light?" she gently asked, hearing the other kits playing behind her. They didn't even notice what she had said, she was the only one playing with duskkit. She found it kind of sad, so she decided to stay with them. "You shouldn't be. Your pelt is so pretty when we can see it. I'll keep you company if you want?" she curled next to her, and looked over at the other kits.

She realised why the kit was here alone, maybe she was the only one of her kin, she had no siblings, and she felt alone. She was glad she decided to keep her company. Looking at all the other kits play, she realised how lucky she was to be so willing to interact with them, when she could have been just as reclusive as duskkit. "Aren't you sad alone over here?" she asked the she quite suddenly. Maybe this is because they look really creepy in the dark, but she still thought she deserved friends too.

Storkpaw listened, a smile flickering over his maw. He loved when she acted so stubborn, it was...cute one could say. Just one of He many things he enjoyed when he was with her. "You winning? Very bold talk you have going on there, but will you love up to it?" He smirked. He watched as she jumped, and laughter welled inside him, he ducked his head away, as if something had caught his attention in the side lines. He watched as she glanced back nervously, eyeing him with wonder. Probably, he guessed, she wondered if he saw her fear. Pleased it had worked, he turned back only to see her hind legs flying over his body. Instinctively he tucked his head in and rolled forwards, in case her jump was mis-aimed. Pleased with his quick thinking, he was almost oblivious to the soft battering of his tail. Ducking his head and peering under his belly, he saw the small frame of the white and brown kit, batting his tail with her tiny paws. Grinning, he lifted his tail slowly until it was out of the reach of her paws. "Haha can't reach it now, you'll have to jump." He teased happily. He watched her, his best friend, playing with his tail. He felt joy swirling inside him, an emotion he rarely felt since the loss of his true birth mother. For the first time in a while, he was truly happy.

Owlkit glanced up at his tail impatiently, her own twitching back and forth as she stared at it. It seemed to be almost taunting her for how small she was, and Owlkit's hues narrowed in a playful manner. "No fair! You're like, twice the size of me!" She mewed after jumping several times and failing to succeed a hit in any of those times. The she cat sat down, dejected, a fake pout on her maw before a mischievous smile came across it. "Aw, you don't want to deprive me of my fun, do you? C'mon, Storkpaw, put your tail back down!" The she cat half complained with a short, almost uncomfortable laugh. This was fun, though. It was the nicest time she had had in a long time, and she continued to stare up at his tail, reaching up a law as far as it would go, which was still an inch or two below the tom's tail. Her blue grey hues followed it everywhere it might go, completely focused.

It was as though nothing else could distract her from her goal, and she almost forgot that he was just teasing her, soon enough the tail would come back down. He couldn't keep it held up like that forever. Thankfully her claws remained sheathed despite the frustration she could feel at seeing her target so far above her head. Finally, she sprung almost straight upwards and grasped his tail between her two soft paws, around halfway down, and let go as she began to head back down to earth so that she didn't pull his tail as she did so. "Never underestimate me when it comes to fun. Or anything else, really," Owlkit mewed. She was a powerful young kit...and with good reason, she was going to be an apprentice soon, and she was hoping that she would get a mentor who would be able to understand her potential...or at least, the potential she believed she had. Like Storkpaw, She thought, wishing her friend were a warrior already.

(Oh boy this is gonna be funny)
Wingpaw bounced through the camp entrance in her usual excited fashion. She was nearly at the age of a warrior and couldn't wait for the say she became one. She looked around with a wide grin on her maw, searching for someone who might be interested in playing with her. She may be near the end of her apprenticeship but that didn't mean she didn't like to play like she would as a kit. Wingpaw saw some cats that came to her interest, but they quickly faded from her list of possibilities as they seemed to occupied doing something else boring. Sighing, she thought about going to the fresh kill pile. Maybe she could grab a piece of prey and sit down and just sit down by herself. But what was the fun in that? Wingpaw decided that if someone was going to talk or play with her, she wuld have to find them herself. Finally, Wingpaw spotted two cats. One about her age, another that seemed like a kit. From what she could see, they were playing something. Maybe they might let me join in! Oh but what if they don't? Oh who cares if they don't want me to. I'm going to do it anyway, Wingpaw thought. It was true, even if they didn't want to let her play she would play with them anyway. She was so bored and desperately wanted to do something fun. Bounding over to them, she said, "Hey guys! I'm Wingpaw! Can I play with you? I'm desperately bored and you two seem to be doing something fun!". She stopped herself before she started to ramble, she had a habit of doing that.

Smokepaw timidly walked around the clearing, avoiding the group of apprentices and a kit. He spotted another apprentice and smiled shyly, mainly because it was one of the few cats he liked to talk to. He walked up to Emberpaw and said "Hi Ember, how are you?"

(Oh and they may not be able to be love interests, I applied Smokepaw for TC Meddie apprentice)

The Persian turned her ember gaze upon the male. She smiled, "I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking," she mewed toward him. "What have you been up to?" she asked tilting her head. She did not know much about the male. Only that he was an apprentice with her. She tended to stay out of the spot light. There was still snow upon the ground, which got into Emberpaw's coat. She took great pride in her dark ashy grey pelt. It was what made her unique.

(Yup, but I got to be honest, him getting the role isn't very likely. All the other forms had so much more detail, and I don't think I picked a very good roleplay example.)

Smokepaw's dark grey fur had a fine layer of snow on it, so he looked similar to Emberpaw. His blue and amber eyes looked at her ember colored ones, and he said "Not much, I'm not a very social cat so I don't talk to a lot of the other apprentices. Do you have any apprentice friends here?"

Emberpaw looked around, "Hmmm, I don't see any. Oh wait! Nope, I don't recall having any," she chuckled. The fluffy female found humor in her anti-social and no friends life. She didn't really like large crowds. She was different then the other cats. She didn't see any Persians around, or at least any pure blood Persians like herself. She also found humor in things that normal cats wouldn't. She would be titled as a barbaric cat to some others. However, she didn't mind a bit. She then snapped out of her trance and turned back to the other apprentice, "Do you have any other apprentice friends?" she asked tilting her head. 'May be one day I could be social' she thought finally.

Bramblefur padded out of the comfortable regions of the Warrior’s den and into the spacious clearing that was littered with cats of all shapes and sizes. Her dark brown-striped fur shimmered in the sunlight as her light paws sank into the light, fluffy white snow that dotted the clearing. The lean she-cat gave a light yawn and strode over to the nearby fresh-kill pile, picking out a scrawny mole. It was small and nothing much of a meal, but she always made sure to leave the plump prey for the kits and elders. She would go out to hunt after this meal so she could make up for the prey she had taken. Her long tail flicked back and forth behind her as she swept away some snow and laid down on a bare patch of ground. She looked around the clearing, her whiskers twitching contently before the she-cat leaned down and took a bite of her mole. It was cold and the meat wasn’t the most appetizing - but it was food nonetheless and she would eat what she was offered.

Lost in her own thoughts, the brown-striped feline did not notice right away that another cat had decided to approach her. She wasn’t used to such things. Bramblefur lifted her muzzle to gaze at the white-furred female that had spoke to her. “Oh, this?” The warrior said with a chuckle, “Yeah, I usually have prey like this every day. The kittens and elders need it more at this time of Leafbare.” She remarked with a slight purr, looking over at the nursery for a quiet moment. Unfamiliar with talking with other cats, the lean she-cat knew not what to say at this moment more - used to being a lone cat in Thunderclan with no friends. “We’re quite lucky that Leafbare hasn’t been too bad this time around.” Bramblefur mentioned to Whitemoon.

"I do love the snow in Leafbare, though. Only time I don't stand out." She took a final bite of her meal finishing it off and licking her muzzle. Why have I never just talked to a cat like this before? Making friends isn't so hard! She thought.

“I’m not really much of a fighter, but if I needed to, I would lay down my life for this clan.” Bramblefur said with a soft smile, directing her gaze up at the clouds, “At least, I think my parents would approve of my loyalty in Starclan.” She stared up at the sky for a moment, lost in thought. After awhile, she broke away from her thinking and looked over at Whitemoon with an apologetic smile, “Sorry about that. Cottonfrost sat at the edge of camp, his dark grey fur glistening neatly in the sunlight. The tom cat had just given himself a thorough wash, and was now patiently sitting at the edge of camp, a perfect demeanor of calmness and content.
Cottonfrost often had the aura of deep concentration around him, and as he watched the two cats leave, he felt satisfied. His clan was functioning well, and the clans seemed to be at peace with one another. Letting out a small sigh, he stood up, glanced around one last time, then padded over to a tall tree overhanging the edge of the clearing.
Leaping nimbly into one of the lower branches, Cottonfrost settled down and rested his chin on his paws. I wonder if they'll catch any prey while they're out. He thought, his thoughts leading once more to the cats who had recently disappeared through the exit of the camp.

Cottonfrost peered around from his place in his tree. His dark grey tail flicked back and forth as he observed. Digging a sharp scar into the bark, he peeled back some of the tree's protection. Odd, He thought. Under the bark is slightly damp. It must be from the water it soaks up. After pondering this discovery, he looked below and spotted the she-cat sitting in the snow.
Thinking it would only be a benefit to get a little socializing in, Cottonfrost leaped nimbly from the branch. His paws landed softly in the snow and he breathed deeply, enjoying the crisp smell of winter. Padding toward her, Cottonfrost smoothed his ruffled fur that coated his spine and approached, his face friendly and open.

The smaller female jumped a bit as she heard the voice. She calmed as she turned her head towards a male. Her eyes danced with happiness as she greeted her. The female noticed the scar on his face and the twinge of his cheek. She thought it was kind of... unique. She liked unique things, specially cats. She gave a kind smile and dipped her head, "I'm doing quite well today. Thank you for asking. How are you...?" she trailed off. "I'm sorry, I don't seem to know your name," she mewed toward him as she shook her head. She pawed at the ground. She was kind of nervous. 'What if I make a fool of myself?' she thought in her head. She never was the type of she-cat to be calm in front of another cat, specially a male. She was what you may call, a hopeless romantic, which always made her chuckle when she thought about it.
Cottonfrost
Cottonfrost tipped his head to the side. "Pretty good." He meowed, returning the dip. "I'm known as Cottonfrost." He studied her features for a moment, drinking in her familiar ThunderClan scent with curiosity. He never ran across other cats, much less talked to them. The tom blinked, wracking his brain for some memory of her. Then he came across the memory. His sister, Risenmoon, had mentoned her a few times.
"You're...Dawnflicker, right?" He sure hoped he got the name right. He had made an assumption of a name at a gathering once. It was a mistake he never wished to repeat. And it was of a cat he had talked to before, to make the situation worse.
When Cottonfrost heard her chuckle, his dark gaze narrowed instinctively: was she amused by him?! His ears immediately pricked, and his heart thudded. Man, this socializing thing could be embarrassing. He thought as he swallowed out of nervousness. Why was he nervous? Who knew...

Leafkit sat thoughtfully in the nursery in his nest,
near the back, his mother's old nest to the left, his foster mother's nest to the right. His leaf, forest green eyes gleamed in the dark den, the star twinkling outside. Beautiful. The young, but quite wise kit thought, eyes shifting slowly to stare out at the lovely midnight black sky. But, the scars of the Thunderclan Liberation. Yes, Leafkit was quite happy Ashstar was back, and leader again, aswell as the deputy, Gyrewind, a cat he never seen or met, strange, for a deputy, but it wasn't the young kit's place to judge, afterall, he was a young tom kit, still in the nursery, and that's the sad part. However hard the kit tried to push the memories of all the bloodshed and death, it still came back, cries of horror, screams, and cackles, it was all still their, and the kit didn't know why, and that scared him, greatly. Terrifying nightmare's plaguing his fragile mind, but why? A question Leafkit wanted greatly answered. Maybe sleep would help, maybe...yes, that would help certainly! The kit laid down slowly in his nest, looking at the stars for a bit, before sleep crept into his body, calm and quiet snores coming from him, before silence.

Apurva looked around, her eyes wide. She was eager to start a new day. Each day was a day closer to an apprentice ceremony. She looked around curiously, studying each cat carefully, wondering which one of them was going to be her mentor. Personally, she hoped it would be Maplefur, though the pretty calico highly doubted that it would be, although, you never know. There was slight chance that it would be Maplefur. Maybe it'd be good for her to get herself acquainted with more cats than Lionpaw, Timberpaw and Maplefur though. She looked around, hoping to spot somebody to talk with.

It would be good to get to know the Clan better, as it was her first night sleeping in a den and not hidden in camp, as she'd been after the fire and until the battle. Her injuries were almost healed, and she was feeling much better refreshed after that peaceful night's sleep with Timberpaw, even though she'd been very hot and uncomfortable despite the cold. That was just how she reacted when around Timberpaw. It was uncontrollable, and she'd never felt anything like it before in her life. It made her wonder why she had even chosen to join ThunderClan. Was that all because of Timberpaw, too? she wondered, tilting her head and sitting down, scratching an itch behind one ear with her back paw absently.

She looked up, her green hues scanning the area for a cat to talk to, and she hoped that nobody would scorn her or turn her away. She padded up to the nearest cat, a ginger furred tom close to her age, and stood a fox length behind him and slightly to the side. “H-hi.” she said in a friendly, slightly uncertain tone of voice.

Daypaw flicked his ear and turned his dark blue gaze upon a multicolored tabby, one he's never met before. The golden tom smiled brightly, his blue hues glimmered with joy and friendliness "Hello, I don't believe we've met before....are you from a different clan, loner? Oh never mind that, it's nice to meet you, my names Daypaw." he said, his tail flicking back and fourth to an unheard beat, though it was understandable, he was too excited to stand still, he was surprised he wasn't bounding off the dens by now, but he needed to focus. He looked the molly over, a big grin was plastered on his face, he was excited, he met a new friend, that was one of his favorite things about being an apprentice, but he was still young so it didn't really matter, well not at the moment. The golden tabby blinked and flicked his tail "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention....um.....could you run that by me again?" he asked sheepishly, flattening his ears slightly 'Pay attention! It isn't very polite to space out when's someone's talking to you!' he thought, mentally kicking himself for being so rude to the molly.

Apurva felt a slight smile spread across her maw, and she flicked her ears slightly. It was good that he hadn't attacked her and called her an intruder, and that was what she was smiling about. He looked like a sweet and friendly cat. She dipped her head. “Technically, I'm still a loner, yes, but I'm joining ThunderClan.” Apurva explained, sitting down and wrapping her tail over her paws in a graceful manor that gave away her kittypet past. She sighed, cocking her head. “And the name's Apurva.” She added almost inaudibly.

She looked back at him, only to realize that he didn't appear to be listening, and she sighed, tilting her head to one side and watching him until at last he snapped back into focus. She nodded as he apologized and asked her to repeat herself. She repeated exactly what she'd said before, hoping that this time, he had been listening to her, though she didn't really care just as long as she wouldn't have to repeat herself a third time to him. She gave her chest fur a few embarrassed licks, scuffling her paws in the snow. She looked around. She wasewase embarrassed to have been a kittypet, and that she was really only embarrassed about having been both a kittypet and a loner, and was no about to add Clan cat to the list.

"Not really, I don't like very loud and boisterous company." Smokepaw grinned a little and then pawed at the snow.

Stormpaw smiled a little, beginning to relax a little bit more. What he was saying sounded genuine...and he had been so nice to her so far. Perhaps there was nothing to worry about, maybe she was just making something out of nothing- which was something she considered herself to do too often. "Oh. Well I'm glad, because you seem really nice and I would hate to bother you..." Stormpaw mewed, with a half smile. It was the most real one she had given him so far, and for a moment her blue hues lit up along with it before they went back to their original, more nervous state. Stormpaw shifted uncomfortably, catching his expression...no! Oh, why am I such a mouse brain sometimes! No- why am I such a mouse-brain all the time! I knew that was a stupid thing to say...and now I have annoyed him! She thought, looking at him pleadingly and tensing up. Every part of her seemed to be so tense that it was impossible for her to move, and her face became emotionless, her blue hues clouded over with a sort of film that blocked him from seeing what she could be thinking. This was replaced by an expression of amusement and surprise as he stated the same thing she had said a moment ago. A laugh slipped from her maw and she stopped, realizing she could offend him by doing so. "Oh! Well...thanks, I suppose," She mewed with another smile. She had begun to relax much more, and although her hues remained guarded from his earlier expression, her posture was not quite as rigid and tense as it had been before. It was hard to tell quite what Stormpaw was feeling...and in fact, she was confused herself. She was unsure what to make of him. One moment he had looked at her as though she were an idiot, and the next he had made the same remark. We'll see. She thought, with the slightest twitch of her tail as her blue hues looked over him.

Oh dear i'm such a mouse-brain!, Stormpaw thought. He did what he could to try not to show any signs of the distress that swirled around in him. He really was such an idiot. First, he gave his fellow apprentice a look that told her she was an idiot for complimenting him, or in other words, her own name. And then, he decided to say the same thing. That just showed that he was an idiot, and in his opinion, it might've showed a bit of rudeness in him. Stormpaw wasn't a rude cat, he was just a dreamer, but really, every cat was gonna be rude at some point in their life. He had just represented what a hypocrite would do. Why couldn't have he had done something rude someone else like his brother? They would've laughed about it at least. This was just plain awkward. There was no point in covering anything up. Stormpaw seemed the catch a tiny twitch in Stormpaw's tail. Oh no, I hope I haven't offended her or anything!, Stormpaw thought, getting more destressed then ever. "So uh, how are you today? It's quite....cold", Stormpaw said, trying to think of the most descriptive word he could. Ah well, who cares about 'wow words', these days. Stormpaw was training to be a warrior. Not a....spelling bee thing....

Sandkit peeked out of the nursery and was blinded by the bright light of the outside world. It was the first time she would go outside of the den. "It hurts!" she wailed. She couldn't see a thing, and her eyes hurt so she had to close them. "All I can see is White!" She wanted so badly to discover the world outside, but something was preventing her from doing so. It was infuriating, but she stayed calm and adjusted her sight to the light. Everything was still white, but it didn't hurt to watch it this time. It was a ... different kind of white, it didn't sting her eye. She looked around, and was impressed by the environment of the clearing. She took a step out with a gasp. "Wooow ... what is that?" she asked her parents as she poked with a front paw the icy powder on the ground. "It's COLD!"

She couldn't wait for their answer, she jumped right into it and rolled cheerfully. Rolling back on her paws, she ran and gave a jump into a small pile that was a little way next to the nursery. "The outside is SO cool!" she exclaimed, throwing snow up in the air. She was getting cold, but she didn't care, it was the most amazing and amusing thing she had ever done. "Can I sleep here now? Nursery is just not that fun anymore!" she asked as she turned back to both her parents.

She had her usual proud and serious look on her face, but her eyes shined of the love for her small daughter.
And yet she was a bit worried as the young cat began rolling in the cold snow. "Now now, don't stay covered in it for too long, or you'll get a cold" She said with a light giggle, walking over to her daughter and ever so gently picked her up by the neck, placing her gingerly on flat snow, gently licking the icy snow that covered her sandy pelt away. Sandkit wasn't even three moons old yet, Desertprowl didn't want to risk her getting whitecough at such an early age.

After a few moments he was free and silently making his way to his nest, tiredness washing over the young tom. He layed himself down with a soft grunt, gently laying his muzzle on his paws and tucking his nose under his tail. Amber eyes glared across the clearing, wondering when she'd get to leave the Thunderclan camp and get out of earshot of every single cat in her clan. Why did she have to be born in a clan at all? He hadn't gotten a very good rest last night, insomnia having kept him awake until the sun had risen. Even after he got a few hours of shut eye, he was awoken by the sun peaking through the den, and forced to get up and make his way into the clearing. Now he was regretting his choices, wishing he had actually gotten a bit of sleep. "Mmm.." He growled softly to himself, suddenly jumping to his paws and shaking his pelt out. "Wake up, wake up! 'SNOW' is too many to go through! she complained, giving an irritated pawing at it, sending flakes flying in the air. She looked at her paws, discouraged. --I hate being small...-- she thought.

She looked around and noticed a big rock near the edge of the clearing. It was so big a cat tower couldn't even reach that high! She wanted to go there next! But first, the apprentice den was waiting for her. She wanted to meet her future friends and train-mates. She really wanted to be apprentice so she could stop being small, but that didn't work this way.

Hiddenpaw straightened up, sitting with his head raised and his amber hues glowing. His pelt didn't look awful, although he wished that he had done better before he called out to Honeypaw. Thoughts aside from that, he flicked his ears in greeting before letting her settle herself close by or wherever she decided to sit. "I'm doing better honestly," he replied, his thoughts trailing back to his upcoming ceremony. He couldn't wait for Ashstar to announce it now. When Ratnight rules, Hiddenpaw purposely held himself back to avoid being named a warrior from him as long as possible, although Skyclan coming was a life saver for the young tom-cat. He didn't have to hold himself back any more and instead enjoyed his last days as an apprentice. Soon he'd be caught up in other things. The cream and alabaster apprentice allowed his amber hues to settle solely on her again. "How about you?" Between his responses, there was merely a heartbeat of his thoughts even though it seemed like so many flowed through his mind all at once.

"I'm doing better too with Ashstar and Gyrewind back in their rightful places", Honeypaw responded. Honeypaw, like Hiddenpaw, was very close to being promoted to a warrior status. She had been an apprentice for many moons and managed to fit in quite a bit of training with her mentor Bramblefur, despite the strange changes in the clan. "Now that Ashstar's back we can finally become warriors!", Honeypaw said in an excited tone. She was super excited knowing that it wouldn't been much longer. She would miss being an apprentice. It was fun learning battle moves and finding good hunting tactics. Her mentor Bramblefur was very kind towards her, so she would miss training with her. She remembered when she had first been made an apprentice, she had started to miss being a kit. The comforting warmth that radiated from her mother and siblings was something she treasured as a kit. Although as she grew although, being an apprentice was a great thing for her. And now she was about to become a warrior! "What do you think your warrior name will be?", Honeypaw asked Hiddenpaw, remembering he was still there.

Stormpaw glanced away again, her blue hues now looking down at her paws. She was unsure of quite what to say now...as long as someone else was able to keep the conversation going, she was fine, but she tended to stay away from trying to keep it going herself. It had never ended well for her and in her imagination, it never would. How could it? She was awkward, and seemed to never say the right thing...she wasn't particularly pretty, or friendly...and she didn't have a very interesting life. So what was there to say to others? Still, she would do her best to be friendly and considerate to this cat who shared her name.

He was nice, anyway. And the conversation probably was doing her some good...even if she couldn't tell. "Yeah, it really is...I-I don't do very well in the cold...I-I don't like it. What about you?" She asked, realizing just then how strange her statement had sounded. Really? 'I don't do very well in the cold?' What's wrong with me, seriously! Stormpaw thought, attempting to make at least a few fleeting seconds of eye contact with the other cat. Great, this was going to get real awkward real fast. And she hated it when she felt as though it were her fault.

Maybe things would get better soon. Maybe there was some way to salvage the conversation so that it sounded a little better, some way to make herself...sound like she actually cared about talking to him. Because I do, I like talking to nice cats, I just...don't know how to...say it, exactly. She thought with a sigh, the tip of her tail flicking with anxiety. Her body seemed to tense up again before relaxing, and then tensing up once more. It was quite a strange sight, seeing the young she cat almost trying to decide if she were comfortable or not. She glanced up at the tom and wrapped her tail around her paws. Now, how do normal cats act when they want to be friends? Do I want to be friends? I think that's what normal cats do...oh dear, I don't know...She thought, her tail twitching in a distressed manner. "Uh, um...s-so, uh, what do you, um, think of maybe going out? Like for a walk, or hunting, although I don't think we'll catch anything, it's too cold...not like out, out, just...out like into the territory...oh dear." She mewed, flustered. She had never been too good at this, and now it seemed she was making a mess of it again. Why couldn't she just say what she meant?

Cottonfrost tipped his head to the side. "No," he responded. Then he too followed her trailing gaze around camp. Sure, cats were looking around, but not specifically at her. He realized she was embarrassed by the gazes of the cats that flickered over the three, so he tried to help out a bit by cracking another smile.
"Do you enjoy border patrols or hunting patrols more?"He asked randomly, not aiming the question at either, but both, hoping it would break the silence.

Blackpaw padded into camp, head raised slightly. He glanced around and spotted his siblings,a cruel smirk forming beffore he forced it away, making himself look sad.

"Blackpaw! There you are!" Foxpaw padded over to his brother. "Wheres Dad? I thought you went on patrol together?"

Splashpaw followed, smiling brightly as she looked at Blackpaw.

Roarpaw waltzed after them, his steps calm as he looked at his brother. But he saw something in Blackpaw's eyes that clearly his siblings couldnt and his smile disappeared.

Snowpaw was beside Roarpaw, and looked at Blackpaw curiously.

Blackpaw lowered his gaze. "....We...Were were walking by the rocks, the tall ones near the huge Oak Tree. We-We heard barking a-and saw Honeypaw and Eternalpaw being chased by dogs."

Foxpaw's eyes widened in shock, and even Splashpaw was stunned into silence. Snowpaw didnt say a word.

It was Roarpaw who broke the silence; "Where are they."

"Dad went to save them." Blackpaw sucked in a breath. "He leaped in and tried to push them up to a higher rock so the dogs couldnt get them but one off them caught a hold of his leg and....And he.."

Nobody spoke, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

"The dog pulled him down....And two others went after Honeypaw and Eternalpaw." As Blackpaw finished speaking, tears were streaking down his face. "They killed them." He choked out in 'sadness'.

Foxpaw's face paled abruptly, and Splashpaw pressed against him slightly for comfort but even she looked horror struck. Snowpaw was nearly on the verge of tears and....Roarpaw...

Roarpaw had the same expression as Splashpaw, a look of horror, and alook of grief. But also a look of anger because he could see something off about this story. He knew his brother, they'd been close since kithood but....

Neverpaw padded into the clearing, the smaller, skinner tom carrying a rabbit almost as big as he was. Seeing Blackpaw, he felt his fur heat up slightly, and the shy tom ducked his head, dropping the rabbit next to the preypile. His golden eyes flicked upwards to the sky.

The handsome young tom sat in the clearing, as usual, his pelt neatly groomed and his hues sparking with a calm interest as he looked about the clearing although there was a sinister note to his calm expression, a sort of terrifying calmness in the spark in his eyes. It was frightening, especially since the weather was so cold and the young tom's pelt was so thin, seeing how he was able to sit absolutely still and act as though he was having no trouble at all. The tip of his tail flicked impatiently as his hues continued to scan the clearing, the sinister light beginning to fade from them.

For as frighteningly polite and calm as the young tom seemed to be, he was still a kit. And nearly an apprentice at that, but even so...there was no way that he was going to remain perfectly calm while he was being kept waiting.

Waiting for what, he wasn't sure, but he knew that there was something he was waiting for and he was going to get it. The brown tom glanced around the clearing a third time, his whole small body quivering in anticipation- or was it the cold? It was hard to tell, to be honest. Hard to tell whether the shaking that was emitting from him was of fear or from the fridgid temperatures, or perhaps even just from excitement.

{whoops! Sorry, and sorry for the late reply}

Falconclaw sat in a ridgid position until hearing Amberwish's words, and then he smiled a little, although it was awkward, considering the warrior was unused to having such an awkward conversation with a fellow warrior. He couldn't remember the last time it had been this awkward. "Thank you. I accept your apology and would like to add one of my own; I fear that we may have gotten off on the wrong paw and I believe that was partly my fault. Therefore I am apologizing to you now." The tom mewed, lowering his head in a sign of respect towards the other warrior. Falconclaw thought of courtesy as a very important part of life...and of course, he also imagined power to be one as well.

Clearing his throat as though in discomfort, Falconclaw shifted his weight a little and glanced towards the territory. If not for the cold and the fact that it was near to impossible to find prey in this sort of weather, he would be out there hunting. Or walking around and thinking, depending on what sort of animals were out there. He shifted his weight once more, his hues flitting over to Amberwish as he did so. In all sincerity, he wasn't quite sure what to make of the she cat. It had certainly been a while since he had such an...insightful...conversation with another cat, especially a she cat.

"I agree with you. Traitors deserve to be punished...but, doesn't that mean that every cat who fought with those strangers should be exiled? They were all traitors to ThunderClan. Real leader or not, our first duty is to our Clan...not StarClan. I was not comfortable with Ratnight as leader either, but I dealt with it. I know that you would try to drive any traitors out. But before you do, try looking at the cat's story from their angle. See why they might have done it and try to prevent the problem from happening again. Do you understand? Did-did that make any sense to you?" Falconclaw asked, keeping his hues fixed on Amberwish. From what he had seen of the young she cat, she wasn't the type to be very happy when a word was said against those...SkyClan cats, had it been? He awaited Amberwish's answer, and feeling very nervous as he did so.

The Ebony tom turned his silver orbs to another apprentice, no too far away from him. He stared at the grey tom for a few seconds before nodding, not really wishing to speak to another. He narrowed his eyes, he didn't quite understand it, why people insisted on talking to him, he hated it, speaking to others wasn't his definition of fun, but yet they continue to try, it makes him suspicious, thinking that they're just trying to get close to him so they can kill him. At that thought his scar began to itch, but he quickly got rid of the thought with a shake of his head, not wanting to wallow in it. He layed his head down on his paws and closed his eyes, he layed there for a few seconds before letting out a soft sigh "Nightpaw." he said, he felt bad after all, smokepaw stated his name, he could too atleast.

DarkKit noticed the sleepy kit. He liked sleep too. He knew how much it annoyed him when other kits disturbed him so perhaps he should leave her alone...but he really wanted to make more friends so maybe just maybe he could wake her up..."hello?" He said softly.

Amber eyes glared across the clearing, wondering when she'd get to leave the Thunderclan camp and get out of earshot of every single cat in her clan. Why did she have to be born in a clan at all? She couldn't stand being in the nursery anymore. Too many other kits. What if she went and snuck out? Well, warriors are warriors for a reason, right? Maybe...
Daypaw spotted a warrior looking around, menace evident in her eyes, and usually he would stand clear of those kind's of cats, but curiosity got the best of him. He picked himself up and made his way to the molly, his dark blue orbs gleamed with kindness and curiosity as he got closer, his golden pelt shone in the sun, making him stand out from the other cats, especially since everything else around him was white, covered in snow, except of course the pelts of the other clan cats. He stopped a few mouse lengths away and smiled widely "I couldn't help but notice that you've got quite an awful look on your face...something bothering you?

The Golden tabby smiled apologetically, feeling slightly bad for not listening. He wasn't sure how to react with her being a former loner, but he wouldn't jump to conclusions, that wasn't fair to the molly. He shifted his weight to his left paw and looked in the direction of the territory, his dark blue orbs gleamed with untold emotions, his mind wandered elsewhere, trying to think of a ways to introduce himself, after a few moments of contemplating he looked back at Apvura and smiled, making him seem even more handsome than usual "well nice to meet you and I hope you like it here. If you need any help and or need some pointers I'll gladly lend a paw, and if you can't find me there's always my brother, Nightpaw, he should help you, may not be the nicest at first though." he laughed, hoping to become friends with the newcomer, he didn't really like seeing others be by themselves, and it was his goal to help everyone get friends, but he knew not everyone wanted friends, so he would never force it upon another, that would be rude. His golden pelt shone as the sun peaked out from behind the clouds, making him stand out a little more than the other's in the clearing.

Lichenkit kept glaring at the older tom, then rolled her eyes. Maybe he could help her get out of camp earlier than most cats.
Hiddenpaw nodded in agreement, his amber hues clouding over in slight thought. He wished Whitewing were still around to see him become a warrior. His mentor seemed to have disappeared when the Evil Era started and since then, his injury had kept him from being a warrior. Now he was ready, just a little lonely. Although on the brighter side, his sister, Rosepaw would be having the ceremony with them. Her question brought the cream and white tabby back and his amber gaze cleared a little. "Oh, I don't know, probably something to do with my claws though," he shrugged, but held up one paw and flexed his abnormally large front claws. They were threatening at first glance, but also calming as his clan mates weren't the ones who'd have to face them. "What about you?" Hiddenpaw's paw dropped back to the ground and he waited for her answer.

Fogfire glanced up at the sun, guessing some time had passed. She picked up her bird, along with a mouse and squirrel, then started heading back to where Nettlenose and Thunderstrike were going to meet back up. She was happy with her catch, though she had to admit that it was just luck that she had been able to catch the squirrel- that or the dumb thing was deaf, as it hadn't reacted at all when she accidentally stepped on a twig.

The gray molly lifted her head, looking at the sky. A cold breeze ruffled her fur, but her coat was thick enough that it didn't bother her all that much. She continued on, her paw steps light and quiet, until she came to the small clearing. It looked like she was the first one back, so she dropped her prey at her paws as she sat down to wait for the others to return. I wonder how much they caught, and if they had any luck. She thought, eyes wandering around the surrounding shrubbery.

Flameleaf paused for a heartbeat then began grooming herself. Flameleaf glanced at iceflower as she padded past. A breeze blew past. Flameleaf padded out of the camp entrance. She breathed in the scents of the forest. She spotted a squirrel and droped into a crouch, she moved quickly and quietly across the forest floor. Once she was in leaping distance she pounced. She soared through the air. She landed on top on the squirrel and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. She picked up the squirrel and padded back to Leafpelt. "Bet I can catch more prey than you!" Flameleaf challenged. Smileing Flameleaf padded forward. They padded through the forest. Flameleaf froze as she heard something snap. She looked around but saw no one else other than Leafpelt. She looked up and saw a thick, heavy branch falling towards her.

Brightkit sat in the nursery, her tail wrapped around her paws, bicolored hues sparkling and glancing around the nursery. She looked somewhat excited, although as always her green hue was unfocused and a little strange looking. She was looking for her friend, although she couldn't seem to spot him. As usual, her line of vision was extremely shadowy and she was having trouble making out the figures of different cats.

Why does everything seem so...different? She thought, glancing around and her tail twitched impatiently. Her expression was confused as she tried to look for Martenkit. Her calico tail twitched back and forth, the tip of it moving rapidly as she did so. A small smile appeared on her maw and she looked eagerly around the nursery. A piece of straw rolled towards her paw and she put a tiny paw on it, batting at it eagerly as she did so. A smile grew on her maw as she continued to bat at it, and her good hue glanced around the nursery for Martenkit. Where is he, anyways? Where could he possibly be? She thought, trying to find her friend with her good eye.

Lichenkit padded out of the nursery, glaring around the camp. She saw a kit she was well familiar with, and gave him a sneaky grin. She then padded up to him, and sat down beside him. "Sparrowkit," she said simply. She curled her tail around her paws, and sat up straight beside the young tom, and watched the other cats in the camp.

Sparrowkit gave Lichenkit a more polite smile, since he did indeed take pride in being polite. There was a slightly cold, hard gleam to his hues however, something that almost seemed to give away the innocence of kithood. He was no longer a young kit; he was close to being an apprentice. And the tom would soon be ready to fight for his Clan; well, for the Clan that there used to be. Where did Ashstar come from, anyways? How could he have just suddenly reappeared, out of nowhere, no less! The tom thought with an angry lash of his tail, his expression furious before he realized he needed to regain his composure in front of his...friend.

At least, she was the closest cat to him, and as far as Sparrowkit knew that made her a friend. "Lichenkit. We need to talk." He mewed, bumping against the she cat a little in an attempt to get her up. "Follow me. We need to be in a more...hidden place. Where we will not be overheard." He told her, padding a few pawsteps away towards a hidden part of camp. He waited for her; after all, if he were going to do anything, he should at first run through it with Lichenkit. If he ever did become leader; she would definitely be his deputy. But of course there was very little chance of that. Still, he was able to have ambitions...wasn't he?

Apurva tipped her head, understanding. She knew that many cats could be unkind to strangers, some more, some less. It always varied from once cat to the next, and you never knew how anyone would react. She was glad he'd reacted inna friendly way, and not in the lashing out, attacking way that a lot of cats reacted. She flicked an ear, dismissing all her thoughts and looking at the bright, golden furred tom. Most cats in this Clan seemed friendly, and of that she was quite glad, as she found it hard to work with cats who weren't very friendly. True, she could get a bit shy around certain cats, such as Timberpaw and sometimes her older half brother, Blade, but usually, she was a friendly and energetic molly, always eager to help anyone in need if it.

Around her, the camp was a constant buzz of noise and activity. Cats, both old and bound scampered about, all talking or speaking in some way, making there be a constant babble of information filling her ears. Apurva sat down rather fast, letting out a low whimper and flattening her ears. She overwhelming and mingled scents, which seemed constantly too strong, and the noise, which hummed like bees in her ears, it was very overwhelming, and she knew quite well that it would take some time for her to get used to this, as it was very distracting to her. She winced, then blocked it out, focusing on only Daypaw. “Why do y'all have "paw" or "kit" or something else at the end of your names?” the pretty, multicolored calico whispered after a moment, her brilliant green hues glinting as the pale, cloudy sunlight his them just at the right angle, making her appear even more inquisitive than she actually was, though it did confuse her, and she wanted to know what that was all about, their strange names.

The golden tabby noticed the molly having troubles, he didn't blame her, she wasn't quite used to The smells yet, he couldn't imagine how trig their scent was, but he could guess it was like the fish sent that always burned in his nostrils whenever he was around a Riverclan cat. He observed the way the former loner acted, slightly bewildered by the fact that she greatly detested their scent, and wondering if they truely smelled that bad. He blinked, his dark blue hues flashed with worry, hoping it didn't overpower her, he wanted her to feel welcome, and nothing says stay away like some cats scent getting shoved up your nose, and he was pretty sure there was nothing he could do to help her. The gender laden tabby perked his ears in the direction of Apurva, making sure he heard her question clearly "Well, that helps us....um....how do I put this? Well, it keeps us organized, we know who is what rank, for instance, a kit, would have kit at the end of their name, while an apprentice, such as myself, would have paw, at the end of our names. Now as for Warriors, they get their names chosen by the leader, it usually ties back to somehow, if you have a short tail, your name could end with "tail" if you have long claws it could end with "claw" or "talon" if you're super fast it could end with "chaser" or "skip" or "step" and so on and so fourth." he explained, his ears swiveling as he listened to his clanmates chatter, their endless rambling, their rumors, their lies, their compliments, he made note of everything, as well as everyone, what they were saying, who they were talking to, making notes of who to trust, and who not to trust. His blue orbs were glazed over as his mind wandered elsewhere, storing every piece of knowledge, tucking it away, and keeping it locked up tight, ready to pull it out if needed. He turned his attention back to the mottled molly and smiled, tilting his head to the side "Do you have any other questions I could assist with, would you like me to explain the names again?" he asked, his brilliant smile dissapears he once he heard a warrior speak of the Dark Forest, ill words spilling out of his mouth as he spoke of Starclan as well, he made a mental note and looked at the former loner, his eyes narrowed, he leaned forward "I'd be careful around here, the darkness and the light are clashing once more, and I don't believe you want to be in the middle of it. Though, the light did win, there's still some angry cats strolling about. But thank fully an Apocalypse is on the way." he said softly, making sure she was the only one who heard his statement. He pulled back and began to smile once more, waiting for the mottled she cat to respond to his question.

Lichenkit glanced up at the older tom and shrugged. Maybe he was wanting to talk to her about fooling with one of the other kits. That'd be fun, right? Or maybe trying to get a warrior in trouble? She decided that those options were way too ambitious for Sparrowkit, though she didn't really know him all that well. As she padded toward her so-called friend, she paused, glaring at the fresh kill pile. Did he want to gloat about maybe poisoning the food? Nah, seeing as both she and he had to eat the stuff too. Though she pushed the thought to the side in hopes of revisiting the plot in the future. Maybe Sparrowkit would even help her with it.
As she padded up to the tom, she sat down like she saw some of the she-cats do in front of toms they liked. She knew she was a beautiful she-cat, so she better start her seductive ways now while there was time to learn, right? Might even be fun to try it on the other she-cats once she perfects it. "Can I help you?" She asked rather rashly. Dang, she messed it up already. No matter, since she wasn't actually trying to seduce anyone... Yet. She tilted her head, and waited to know what the tom had to say. Hopefully it would be something fun, seeing as the camp was so boring all the time.

Not really." He meowed, raising his paw and looking around at the clan laxly. "They are both helpful at different times. If I had to choose, I'd say border patrols." Pausing for a moment in his speech, he looked at her. Speaking of patrols, shall we hunt at the border, that way we gain three in one?" A moment later, he realized that ,any not make sense.
"You know, getting the clan food, watching for trespassers, and we could stretch our muscles. The tom cat flexed his claws, eagerly waiting for her responses. Cottonfrost loved roaming the forest and exploring the woods.

Cottonfrost shrugged off the tenseness that had begun to settle in his muscles.
"We could go now, if you want." He replied, standing up. He balanced on his toes and his jaw twitched, as it often did. The tom blinked his dark eyes as he watched her. His sister had the build of a Hunter just as their mother. He himself had inherited his father's lean, muscular build. He relaxed into all of his paws and began to move toward the entrance of the camp, hoping she would follow. He wanted to get out. To run. The tom's tail lashed the air with his tail excitedly. It was perfect weather out, slightly flurry and brisk. It was warmer than it had been in a while, so the prey would hopefuly be out and scouring for the little berries and nuts left over from the fall.

Otterkit sat in the nursery. "I'M SO BORED!!!!!", she yowled. "Ugh! There's nothing to do anymore!!!!!!", the white kit hissed and looked around the nursery and noticed Brightkit. Her green eyes focused on the kit. At 6-8 moons old and still isn't apprenticed yet, Otterkit was really bored. "I need to be an apprentice now!", by this time Otterkit seemed to be arrogant, a brat, and annoying. Otterkit's siblings looked at her. "Otterkit, shut up!!", Lionkit hissed.

"All you do now, since you're Apprentice aged, is yell, be annoying, and try to be mean to everyone.", Volekit mewed. The white furred kit glared at her siblings. "What is going on with you four?", Oakclaw asked, walking into the nursery with a rabbit and a vole in his jaws. "Father, Otterkit's being mouse-brained....", Lionkit, the 5 moon old, light ginger furred, amber eyed, brother of Otterkit, Volekit, and Snailkit said. "And she's being mean!", the youngest of Oakclaw's kits, Volekit, a light brown tomkit with brown eyes, mewed. "She is also being an arrogant brat!", Snailkit, the silver eyed tortoiseshell she kit mewed and then glanced at her hind legs, which can't function anymore, and then glanced back at Oakclaw. "Otterkit, only because you're Apprentice aged and shouldn't be in the nursery anymore, doesn't mean you should be arrogant, bratty, and annoying to everyone here..... You know that...", Oakclaw scowled. "Yes I do!! And I don't know that...", Otterkit retorted. Thank StarClan, I'm not younger than Lionkit, Volekit, and Snailkit, I would be a newborn kit! And newborns mewl to much! Mouse-dung!, Otterkit thought.

"You four can have the vole and the rabbit. Lionkit and Otterkit get the vole and Snailkit and Volekit get the rabbit.", Oakclaw said as he padded over to his kits and gave them the prey. As soon as the four kits started eating the freshly caught prey, Oakclaw walked out the nursery and went back to the clearing.

"Shut your mouths!", Otterkit scowled, glaring at her siblings, anger in her eyes. "This is what we mean....", Lionkit mewed. "I said shut your mouths!!", the white furred kit hissed. "Does it look like we care, Otterkit?", Snailkit said. "SHUT UP!!!", Otterkit growled. "Lalalalalalalala!!!! We don't care.... Alalalalala!!!! We're gonna ignore you now...", Volekit teased. "I said shut- Okay, that's it!", Otterkit bit down on Volekit's shoulder. "Hey! What was that for?!", he yowled. Otterkit then clawed Lionkit's flank. He let out a shrill hiss and turned around to face his older sister.

"Otterkit, stop before I tell Oakclaw!", Lionkit hissed. "I don't care what you three say to me...", Otterkit growled. "Otterkit, we said stop!", Snailkit mewed. "What did I just say to you?! I said I don't care!", Otterkit glared at Snailkit. "Otterkit, please, stop...... Now..... Or else StarClan might be mean to you and never trust you anymore...", Volekit, at 3 moons old, was very smart and sometimes he's a bit clever. "Okay... Okay... I'll stop... But if you three tease or say things about me again you're going to regret what Volekit said....", the 7 1/2 moons old kit yowled.

There was a particularly large and heavily muscled she-cat that sat in the middle of the Thunderclan clearing, the air not exactly warm considering they were still in the midst of leafbare, but not particularly cold either, there was a brisk wind blowing but that was about the extent of it. And yet? Not even the wind seemed to effect her in the slightest, in fact, it appeared that she was completely ignoring it all together and was simply glaring around the clearing, the tip of her tail twitching this way and that but staying relatively close to her body, a measure to keep herself warm, even if it was a small gesture.
Her hindpaws were tucked beneath her and the majority of her frontpaws as well, though they still poked out from beneath her chest, her head slowly swiveling as she watched the cats of her clan, her yellow eyes wild, ready to turn angry at any given second, as soon as she was given a reason, and trust me, she would be looking for the smallest of reasons, she wanted to be angry. She loved it, anger was one of her favorite emotions, she felt like it made her fight harder, allowed her to fight longer and it was just an overall exhilarating that she wanted to feel 24/7 if she could. Thus why she always came off as aggressive and confrontational, it's not because she hated other cats, it's because she quite simply enjoyed being angry as much as she could.
Licking her lips a bit, the grey tabby heaved out a heavy breath and turned her head towards the sky, the bare branches of the trees stretching up to the blue blanket of atmosphere above, a single bluejay crying out as it bobbed on one of the branches before taking off out of site. Flicking her ears, Cormorantstone shook her head a bit and turned her attention back to the clearing, just waiting for some brave cat to approach her.

Quietstream smiled "thank you very much." He took a bite and pushed it over to her.
Ravenstorm took it thankfully, taking a rather large bite in hopes of calming her rumbling stomach. "So Quietstream, what have you been up to lately?"

Soulpaw walked out of the apprentices den and began to streatch his back legs. He sat down and licked his paw. He gently drew it over his ear with a purr. He looked around camp for some cat to come talk to him. He sighed and got up, making his way over to the fresh kill pile. He grabbed a mouse and walked over to the shadows. Gazeshadow walked out of the warriors den and grabbed a squirrel out of the pile. He made his way over to his half brother. "Do you ever miss your mother?' wondered Gazeshadow, as he sat next to him. Soulpaw looked up at him with a snort. "yeah I miss her, but she chose to stay in Shadowclan with my siblings." he snorted.

Apurva thought for a long moment on what he'd said. Her fur was prickling with anticipation for two reasons, well, technically three. First and foremost was the journey to TwolegPlace she would be taking in secret with Maplefur, then her new name and mentor, and then speaking with Timberpaw, but for now, the multicolored calico was fairly content to be here, just talking with her new friend, Daypaw. “Oh, that's pretty cool. Maplefur explained it to me somewhat, and so did Timberpaw, but never as fully or in as much detail as you have. Thanks.” after that, the former loner wondered if she had any more questions, when he said something that seemed a little odd, as if perhaps he thought she didn't know how to fight, or at least, that's what it sounded like he said, and she cocked her head to one side curiously. “I know, but at least Ratnight is gone, eh? He was terrible.” Her voice had dropped down to a low whisper, as she was careful that only Daypaw could hear her. She was just so used to having to speak like that when talking of Ratnight or anything else along those lines, so she'd fallen into the habit of doing so. She shifted, lifting up one paw and drawing it over her ears carefully. She sort of wished she'd said nothing about it at all, but it was too late to take that back, so she shook off her unease over it, knowing there was no sense in simply wishing it, so she stopped. Memories of the battle that's given Maplefur a limp flashed in her mind. She knew taht she would never forget that horrible battle, but there was no sense hiding from what had happened! She'd helped, and taht was all that mattered. They'd one, and she'd finally decided that this was where she belonged. First she'd saved Lionpaw from the fire, then Maplefur during the battle, and she hoped to continue saving others for as long as there was breath in her body. She would serve ThunderClan. She knew that that was where her paw steps led her, and Apurva knew well enough to follow them, no matter where they took her.

She looked up, realizing that she had sort of zoned off and was staring into space, and sdhe flicked her ears, wrapping her teal very neatly over her paws and casting a quick glance around. The smells were still strong and slightly overwhelming, but they had become quite normal, and she knew that in time they would fade altogether due to familiarity. She refocused her bright green gaze on Daypaw. “I wonder who my mentor will be....” And how Blade will react to my joining of ThunderClan. The molly added silently, hoping that the large brown tabby with deep amber eyes wouldn't be angry with her. She knew that the menacing looking and large tabby was actually the opposite of how he appeared, and was a nervous, kind and clumsy cat who would never harm a fly, but still, she wondered.

Sparrowkit gave the she cat a curious look, his head cocked to the side in an almost innocent manner before he smiled. "Yes. Actually, you can. Ever since Ratnight died and Ashstar took over again, things around here have been boring- extremely boring. You have no idea how annoying it is hearing talk about StarClan all over the place again." Sparrowkit spoke quickly and quietly in his almost gentle purr, careful to make sure that no one else would be able to hear a word that he spoke. Other then Lichenkit, of course. "And unfortunately, I am too young and small to do anything about it- not anything big enough, anyway. What we need to do is find other kits- other kits that feel the same way as I- as we- do." Sparrowkit continued, still keeping his voice low. He gave Lichenkit a quick scan with his hues- certainly she was attractive. Although Sparrowkit had never been truly interested in an actual friendship with another cat, whatever...partnership he and Lichenkit had was the closest thing to friendship that he had ever imagined having.

The brown tom thought for a moment, wondering if there were some way to use Lichenkit's pretty appearance and sharp mind to turn some other cats to their side. Forget kits; if Sparrowkit could play his cards right, he could do whatever he wanted. "You are...familiar in the art of manipulation, I trust?" He asked, the smallest of smiles coming onto his maw. It was nearly invisible to the eye and it would certainly have been invisible to anyone else, but Sparrowkit assumed his young "partner" would be able to do it. She was definitely the one cat Sparrowkit hadn't thought would betray him, and if he could do this right...she would be second in command of his little Clan within a Clan.
