Snowsong's smile faltered. "So...You're leaving?" The Siamese she-cats ears turned back in disappointment, but her ice blue eyes were understanding.

Snowsong tilted her head, studying Berry for a moment. "If you like it here, why leave?" She smiled a little bit. "You like it here, thats enough to make you belong."

Cocking her head to the side, the tabby warrior listened to his words. They were-- captivating. Interesting. She'd never heard anyone paying any attention to those attributes of a leader. And they sounded so sweet...so hopeful...Hawkfeather loved the thought of them, and a shudder went down her spine as a smile came onto her maw. "You think of leaders in such a different way. And I think you're right-- that makes sense, it seems right, y'know? I mean, what if leaders weren't friendly? We'd all end up under another Ratnight! And what if they were worse? I mean, if they believed in StarClan it would be okay cause we wouldn't be being killed off and stuff," Hawkfeather mewed, her hues sparking with sudden fear and excitement at the same time.

The thought of ending up under the rule of another cat like Ratnight-- the thought of living like that again-- it terrified her. No, Gyrestar would be a much better leader, and she would appreciate his leading skills. Right? Surely he would be a good leader. She wanted him to be so badly, but wanting something and it actually happening were two completely different things. She used to think if you wished for something hard enough, it would happen. "Have you ever wanted all your wishes to come true? Cause when I was younger, up until a little while ago, I used to think that if you wished for something super hard, it would happen. And I did that-- y'know, when Ratnight took over?-- But it never happened. So I gave up. Sort of half-wishing that things would go better. And then they did, but it was too late. Wishing lost it's power...guess only so many things can go right, huh?" She asked with a small smile.

She almost wished that she would believe in wishing again, but then stopped. No-- the time for just sitting around wishing things would get better was over. The time for action was past, and it was weak now. Wasn't it? No, the time for action was past now...but would it return was the real question. She didn't want it to. She wanted everything bad to be over, and for good times to come back again. They were slowly returning, but everyone was always on guard. At least, she was...she was no longer always cheerful, though most of the time it appeared that way. It was the part of her she liked best. The part that she would always remember. The part that she wanted to keep with her forever.

But cats changed, and moved on, as she knew all too well. She'd had Firefall, and Steelpaw, and Wrenclaw-- everyone moving through her life just as quickly as they'd entered it. Hawkeye. Birdsong. Berryspirit. Every one of them leaving her just as quickly as they came into her life, and every time she had been heartbroken, but she'd moved on. At least she would see them again in StarClan; well, some of them. But she was in no rush to get there. Right now there were cats in her life who needed her here, and she wouldn't leave them.

She'd see Wrenclaw around, of course...there was no way for her not to. Wrenclaw was her best friend and he still lived in ThunderClan, didn't he? Of course. She would see him at some point, which made her happy. A smile spread across her maw just at the thought of her friend, and was rapidly growing. She was thankful for his company, not to mention the company of the cat she was currently with-- Bluejay. He seemed nice. And at least he wasn't making fun of her cheerful nature or anything, she'd been teased about it before and didn't like it...but she was incredibly thankful for it. "Aw, you wanna talk about it? To me, your new best friend?" Hawkfeather asked, cocking her head to the side with a slightly playful smile before her grin grew.

"Wait, am I your best friend? Because you're my new best friend, I mean everyone's my friend but if you want to be my best friend you can, because I would never let anyone not be my best friend, who would do that? Not me, that's who, and I really like you cause you're a really great cat so if you want to be best friends that's totally fine with me!" Hawkfeather mewed all at once, a grin still on her maw. She was always saying things like that, which sometimes drove other cats crazy and sometimes attracted them to her. It all depended on the other cat's personality, and she wasn't quite sure about Bluejay's yet. One thing that she was sure of...she really liked him. He seemed like a decent cat to be around, which Hawkfeather was thankful for.

"A golden rock. I've never seen a golden rock before, have you? I mean, I've seen grey rocks. And semi-silver rocks. And even some orange rocks, what a weird color for a rock, huh? Ooh, and white rocks! White rocks are the best, they're my favorite!" Hawkfeather mewed, jumping to her paws and flashing a smile in the tom's direction, before she settled down again. It was probably a metaphorical rock that he had been talking about. Blowing it again, Hawkfeather! She thought to herself with a stern twitch of her tail. She cocked her head to the side at his next words, but didn't reply...she wasn't quite sure what he was talking about, anyways. He wasn't bad at all! Most likely, he was talking about her. That must be it.

The silver tom cocked his head to the side and flicked his tail tip, his blue hues danced with curiosity as well as attraction, although he himself still hadn't realized this. He still didn't know what this emotion was, what was infiltrating his heart, what was messing with his common sense. He's heard his sister talk about it before, these feelings, though he couldn't remember what exactly she was explaining, but it made him itch. He wanted to get closer, he wanted to feel her fur brush his, drown in her scent, everything, all of it. Then it clicked. He loved her. He loved her a lot, she was able to make him feel so many different emotions, make him feel happy, sad, confused, determined, curious, elated, annoyed, whisful, all of it. He turned his attention down to his paws and shuffled them, he felt his fur heat up, now that he knew exactly what he was feeling, he no longer understood how he was supposed to react to Hawkfeather, he didn't know if she would see the love and longing that danced in his eyes if he looked at hers. He took in a deep breath and decided to look up, he instantly locked eyes with the other, he had just realized how beautiful her eyes were, he just realized that he could get lost in them, and in all honesty, he wouldn't mind it. He perked his ears towards the golden she cat and smiled, a once in a life time thing for him "Ah, thank you? To be honest it's better for other cats to think differently than for all of us to think the same I think. Or else we'd be push overs." he sighed, he realized how naturally the words rolled off of his toung, he let out a snort at how mouse-brained he was acting, he was worrying over nothing. He looked at the ground and brushed away a small pebble with the back side of his paw after accidentally resting his paw on it. "And I would hate to have another leader like ratnight, and even if they believed in Starclan, they would still probably kill, with that toms personality, they would probably convince everyone else that was for starclan." he snorted, his whiskers quivered. The thought of ratnight brought back bad memories, his clanmates dying right in front of his eyes, and he couldn't even do anything, at the time, he didn't even know if he could protect his sister at the time. The reign of the dark leaders was an awful time for all clans.

Upon the mollys question he looked back up and flicked his ear, he was confused, wishes, had he ever made any wishes? He couldn't remember a time when he had enough time to make a wish to Starclan, or when he ever threw a wish into the universe and hoped, or wished, that his wish would come true. After a few seconds of digging up old memories he looked up at the molly and smiled softly, he had remembered one "One, only one though. I wished for things to be different. I wished for my mother to be alive, for my father to love us, for Dovecloud to stay in Thunderclan with me, for Wingdrop to go back to normal. And at one point, I even wished that I didn't even come to the clans at all, that I had died in the fire with my mother. But I'm happy I didn't, because if I did, I wouldn't have met you." he said, he hadn't realized how quickly the last words had fumbled out of his mouth, he didn't plan on saying that last part aloud, but he did. He let out a small, barely audible gasp and shuffled his paws, he hoped that she would take it as a friendly gesture, but, deep down he hoped that she would understand what he meant. Upon her sad conclusion to her question he let out a snort "Alhough wishing may make you feel safe, nothing can truly gen achieved unluess you fix it yourself. But....yes.....if you truly, truly wish for something to happen, Starclan could decide to give you a little miracle. he said softly, he didn't really believe in such things since it never worked for him, but he didn't want her to be sad, he wanted her to continue smiling, to continue being joyous, to continue being her.

He felt as though his heart had been stabbed, clawed, broken, beat up. Best friend she didn't feel the same way that he had felt towards her. The little flicker of hope had burned out at those two words, though he had to give her a small smile, she was trying to help him. Bluejay ha realized that they had just met, but he still hoped, and honestly at this point, began to wish, which was something he had given up long ago. "I don't think I can find the right words to explain it....it's....hard to say." he trailed off, it really was, although he put up a sassy, know it all front, he wasn't in tune with his emotions, every time he tried to explain them he chocked up, his words would get stuck in his throat, and he hated it. Even if he could explain it, he didn't know if he could tell Hawkfeather his raw emotions, because he believed that he may spill everything, including this supposed one sided love. As he neatly wrapped his tail around his paws he began to weave his white lie "I don't see why not, I would love to be friends with you." he said sweetly, so sickingly sweet. It hurt him to say those words aloud, his love for her was soon to be buried benieth lies of friendship, and he hated the feeling of it.

Once she began to talk about rocks he began to chuckle "I didn't know you like rocks so much, should I go collecting for you or do you already have half of the Riverclan river bank hidden benieth your nest?"
he joked, he didnt mind that she didn't get what he was trying to say, it added a little light in his dull world, made him brighter. For a few seconds he even believed it was contagious, her happiness, her bubblyness, because he began to feel that way as well the longer he stayed around her.

A stormy coloured tom scanned the camp, searching for a particular cat. Stormstrike had only been a warrior for a mere 4 moons, and he had to admit it was always a strange feeling, waking up each morning, ready to go train, only to realise you were no longer an apprentice. Sure he had had four moons to get used to it, but he just couldn't seem to adspt. He had always had the same problems as a newly made apprentice, but that lasted for a much shorter period of time. Now that he was a warrior, he was much more....free. He wasn't constantly badgered to wake up early in the morning to go do training, unless he had to go on dawn patrol. He could always volunteer to go on a patrol without waiting for permission from his mentor. The warrior would always miss his apprentice days, but he was excited for his future. His future as a warrior.
Stormstrike shook his head and told himself to focus. After searching for a few more moments, he finally found what he was looking for. The pelt of a certain siamese. "Snowsong!" Stormstrike exclaimed as he rushed at full speed towards the new deputy. As he got nearer, he leapt up a short distance from the ground, ready to tackle his best friend.

Snowsong whirled around when she heard a familiar yowl, her black ears shooting up as a familiar gray pelt came toward her. "Stormstrike!" She exclaimed happily, then her ice blue eyes widened when she realized he wasnt gonna stop. She simply giggled and launched herself forward slightly, though of course the tom still barreled into her nonetheless.

"Its been forever! Where have you been?" She purred teasingly, giving the Tom's ears a few affectionate licks as she beamed at her best friend, "We got a lot of catching up to do! Now get off of me ya great lump!" She laughed, her eyes shining playfully.

Stormstrike crashed into Snowsong, laughing loudly as he did so. "Oh i've been here and there. Doing training. You knowm the usual," Stormstrike replied, his pale yet bright blue eyes glimmering with joy. It had been ages since he had had a chat with Snowsong, and now was the perfect opportunity. He now had the chance to congratulate her on her new position as well. The grey tom nodded in agreement and rolled of his friend.

"For your information, i'm not a lump. I'm one of the best looking cats around. No one can match up to my good looks," Stormstrike joked as he got to his paws, stretching out a paw to help Snowsong up. The warrior wasn't normally as confident when he spoke to others cats, though that always immediately changed when he was with Snowsong. He just let go of his shyness.

Snowsong giggled as she took his paw, letting him help her to her own paws. The she-cat grinned at her best friend, giving a playful roll of her ice blue eyes. He obviously didn't mean it, but he enjoyed a good laugh. And he knew that Snowsong wouldn't take any offense to that, she wasn't that kind of cat. Something quickly popped into his mind. The warrior certainly agreed with Snowsong. He had seen RiverClan cats across the border before when he was patrolling, and he admit he had wondered before how they seemed so plentiful in prey. But then again, were they really rich in prey, or were they just born as plump cats? Or rather, plumper cats than those of the other clans. "Anything for you Snowy," Stormstrike replied with a look on warmth in his eyes.

"I don't know where you would be without me," Stormstrike then continued ina teasing tone of voice, smirking playfully at the siamese she-cat. If anything, the grey warrior was quite sure it was quite the opposite. Without Snowsong, he would be completely lost and lonely.

The kit nodded briskly, trotting back to the store. Scanning their gaze over the stocks, they muttered the needed herbs's names under their breath. "Burdock... marigold... conwebs..." Turning, Remorakit called over their shoulder, "Do we need poppy?" Their white-tipped tail began flicking again in concentration, accidentally knocking something to the ground. "Oops... I found the marigold!" They backed away from the plants. This time addressing the kit, they asked, "Does it hurt?" NightWarrior4Life

Wheatfur nodded to Remora, "That would be good, could you fetch them for me?" He turned back to Darkkit. "Flowerpetal was good cat.... she was kind... But we must go on." He looked over at his herbs, pressing some on the wound, and giving some to him to eat. He looked away, Flowerpetal was a young joyful cat, when her mentor wasn't able to train her, he would always help. "Would you like something to drink?"
"I suppose I should...my fur's a little sticky and smelly with sweat...water would cool me down." Darkkit considered. "Alright. I guess you'll need some moss then too, Remorakit," He turned to them. "To soak up some water from a nearby stream."

‘’We’re not going far,’’ Tigerpaw says as he hopped swiftly over another rock. He took a look back just to make sure the silver tabby was following him. He wanted to have fun with her, but she seemed guarded. Even though he felt deceived that she wasn’t the actual shy she-cat that bumped into him way earlier. He found it funny how things could change that quickly.

‘’And, I give you permission to slap me, If I get out of line.’’ He flicked his tail, thinking devilishly. Tigerpaw understood what Stormpaw was saying, but he didn’t pay any heed to it. His confidence was constantly being repaired, as if his ego never took a hit in the first place. He felt like a strong wall, holding back water as if it were a dam. No one could make him feel less than he already was. He was on top of the world.

As he continued walk, he slowed his pace to match Stormpaw, and he gingerly walked on the side of her, watching as her paws made movement. He found the silver tabby extremely intriguing, and he noted that pretty color of her eyes. ‘’But the next time you slap me, try to put more umph into it, you know? You hit like a mouse.’’ He playfully, but he honestly feared that she would slap him again, so he quickly added. ‘’I’m kidding, I’m kidding. You honestly hit like a thousand cats at once. I think I have a bump up there now,’’ He nodded upwards, and his eyes glanced to the sky. It was pretty hue of blue. Kinda like Stormpaw’s eyes. When he looked back into them, he found himself smiling. The color of her eyes were the sweetest things he noted about her.

‘’Have anybody told you that you had...really pretty eyes?’’ He mumbled, with a tilt of his head. ‘’Besides, don’t get mad! It’s not flirting. It’s a compliment. Take it or leave it.’’ He shrugged and brushed past her, so that he was in front of the two. He didn’t want to embarrass himself further. He knew she could strike him any moment, and he didn’t feel like gaining any bruises. But he did want some alone time with her, and he was hoping that he would be able to get to know her more--just like Fairypaw did. He wanted to call her a friend, but he didn’t know where he stood. Clearly, she seemed annoyed at his antics, and it made him sad. He masked it well. He never wanted to show weakness.

Yet, the only true reason he showed a competitive nature was because of Fairypaw. She was younger than him, she looked up to him, and he had to prove to be brave enough for her. Even through desperate measures. He had to teach her to be brave as well. Never show weakness, so that she could remember that as she grew older. Yet, Stormpaw seemed like the good candidate to show the small she-cat more of a brave impression. It already seem as if Fairypaw found a new idol anyway, and brushed Tigerpaw aside as if he never existed.

‘’I just wanted to go on this walk, so that we can start fresh.’’ He told his female companion. ‘’At least can we try to become friends again? I’m sorry for acting like a jerk.’’ It was as if he was pleading to get this female to be his friend. He begged her with his eyes. He also believed that it wouldn’t hurt to learn a few battle moves from her.

Fairypaw, who was left behind, sat under a shaded tree. She was content, but she was worried about what would Tigerpaw do. She knew that Stormpaw was able to take care of herself, being older than the both of them. Fairypaw was still anxious though. Most likely because she hate being alone and she felt vulnerable exposed without a friend. Without Tigerpaw, who nudged her to make new friends of her own. Which she never could. Her shy state made her tense, and she knew it would be hard for her to even say a few words. She just wasn’t as brave when she was with Tigerpaw. He was the product that helped her talk. That helped her become more open-minded, and not afraid to speak her mind.

Now, she waited for them, and she laid down with her tail curled around her, looking at the other cats of the clan and their animated interactions.
The tabby was somewhat suspicious of the tom's intentions, but she was careful not to show it; aware that it would probably end up slashing a hole in their friendship and overall just ruining it, she didn't want that to happen. Well, what friendship they had left, at least. "Okay..." She mewed, her voice showing the distressed strain. It was embarassing, of course, that she was so scared of this tom-- she had pinned him down and slapped him, for StarClan's sake! She could do it again, right? Of course. If he were to do something stupid, she would most definitely be slapping him.

"Well, I probably would slap you even if you didn't give me your permission-- but thanks." A small smile crossed over the feline's features. He's in a good mood. She thought, amused for a moment before her mind-- true to itself-- began to race. And race. What was he in such a good mood about? And how come? And what on earth had happened to make him so happy? She wasn't sure about the answers to any of the questions that were spinning around in her head, but she was completely sure that it couldn't be anything good. She already had her opinion on this cat; it would take a while for her to completely unravel it and start over again.

Stormpaw glanced over at the tom, surprised he had slowed-- what did he want? Her movements started to blend into each other, as they always did when she got more nervous; while some cats grew clumsier, Stormpaw's movements just seemed to get more and more graceful, moving quickly and all blending into each other so that it looked as though she were just gliding. At his comment, she stopped and the tip of her tail began to twitch as she jerked her head sideways to look at him. Her hues narrowed until all that was visible was the dark pupil surrounded by two small slits of ice-blue color. "Say that again and you'll be able to feel just how hard I can hit you." She mewed. There was no teasing in her tone, but then as he continued, she relaxed. Ever since the battle, she'd become more on edge by talking to anyone at all-- it seemed as though her suspicions were constantly rising. Which wasn't a good thing, but it was just how Stormpaw was.

His next words seemed to hit her harder then anything else, and she froze completely, tensed up. Really pretty eyes. Though his clarification did make her feel a little better, she was still embarassed-- and unsure. She liked this cat, of course, but at the same time she was wary of him. There were just things about him that Stormpaw didn't know whether she liked or loathed-- for example, his tendancy to flirt, his actions...all of those things would certainly be defining traits of whether she ended up liking the tom. "No. They-- haven't. Thank you." She mewed in a lower voice, looking down at the ground where her "pretty" eyes were hidden. She still wasn't sure what she thought. Or if she really thought anything at all. The one thing that she was quite, quite sure of was that she was going to be keeping an eye on this tom. Learning more about him so that someday, somehow, she would be able to figure out what he wanted from her.

But before she could begin to ask questions, he had already answered hers. Huh. Looks like his intentions were just fine. She thought, cocking her head slightly to one side before fixing her hues on the tom. "Alright. We can give it another shot-- but I'm only going to give you one chance. Possibly two. Three mistakes and you lose-- got it?" She asked, fixing her icy hues on the tom. They seemed to have hardened as she spoke, and had lost some of their beauty-- but Stormpaw didn't mind. She never minded. She had been born as a pretty she cat, something that she had never once asked for or cared for, and yet she had met several toms who had only wanted to be around her so they could look at her. It didn't make sense to Stormpaw...but then again, very few things that toms did made sense.

This time addressing the kit, they asked, "Does it hurt?" NightWarrior4Life
"What, my head? A little...but I'm feeling stronger now I've gotten some rest!" He told them. "I suppose I should...my fur's a little sticky and smelly with sweat...water would cool me down." Darkkit considered. "Alright. I guess you'll need some moss then too, Remorakit," He turned to them. "To soak up some water from a nearby stream."

The tom chuckled softly, and padded over to them. He lifted up the herb, "I'll carry this, could you get the others herbs, and after get the moss. No poppy-seeds though.' He hooked a claw on one of the herbs, feeling satisfaction as he ripped it cleanly in half. I miss being a warrior, at the forefront of the fighting. He walked back to Darkkit. He gave the kit an odd look, does he think Remora is a mouse-brain?

Darkkit shifted uncomfortably where he was sat then decided to say something to change the subject, to stop any nasty thoughts about him "so do you think it's anything serious, Wheatfur? Will I get any long-term injuries?"

The golden feline smiled at the silver one, her hues sparkling as they always did. One of her best friends-- well, a long time ago, Firefall-- used to tell her it looked like she had captured the sky in her eyes. She missed her friend, of course...but she was glad to have met Bluejay now. Bluejay reminded her a little of Firefall, but the ginger tom had been much friendlier at first. Now he did, at least. At his smile, she beamed brighter, her hues sparkling happily. She was thrilled to see him smiling-- for the first time, too. The tip of her tail twitched eagerly and she cocked her head to the side. He was acting strangely. Why was he acting strangely? Was something wrong? Had she hurt his feelings? Oh no, I messed this up, didn't I? I messed this up. Stupid, stupid Hawkfeather! She thought with a flicker of concern passing across her features. Hawkfeather was worried; she normally tried to look on the bright side of things, but what about when a cat was so-- so desperate? Well, not desperate, exactly... sad, maybe? Sad might be a good way to describe it. And disappointed. Sad and disappointed. And confused looking. What was he confused about? Whether she liked him? But the expression faded, and was replaced by one of happiness as he spoke again.

As always, the golden tabby looked happy as he spoke, and cocked her head to the side, following his words. "That's an interesting way of thinking. I mean, everyone has an interesting way of thinking, I would love to read minds so I could see what everyone thought-- what about you? Oh sorry, I'm getting sidetracked, I tend to ramble, don't I? Just tell me if I'm rambling and I'll-- and I'm doing it again." Hawkfeather sighed, looking somewhat frustrated as she listened to his next words. For a moment, she didn't dare open her maw just in case something stupid came out again. And then she would hurt the tom's feelings, and then he might change his mind if he wanted to be friends. She wanted him to be her friend. She wasn't sure if he would-- if he could-- feel the same way about her. They were awfully different, after all. And yet Hawkfeather liked the tom a lot. She liked everyone-- it was just part of her personality-- but she felt bad at the same time, bad because he had lost his Mother and his sister. Sad. And uncomfortable...very, very uncomfortable. The she cat looked a little stunned at his next words.

Was that what he thought? How could an evil cat convince everyone they were doing it for StarClan? "That would be horrible. I'd probably leave-- what about you? Would you stay and possibly get killed? Or would you leave and go to another Clan? Cause, I mean, I love ThunderClan and everything, but I wouldn't want to live here under another Ratnight. Hey! You could come with me, then I would have a little part of ThunderClan with me if I did go!" She mewed, a thrilled expression on her features. She glanced at the tom, waiting for his response. It seemed for every sentence of his, she would come back with four more. Hawkfeather loved to talk...it was another part of who she was, a social butterfly. And everyone was her friend. Not everyone could be her best friend, but everyone was allowed to be a friend of hers. Because she loved almost everyone. Most everyone. Sometimes she would meet an especially rude or mean cat who made fun of her-- why, she wasn't sure. But she would still try to make friends with them until she was sure she would be unable to.

The tabby female cocked her head to the other side, listening to his story with a worried expression. That's such a sad story! She thought, and at the end, her mouth formed an 'o' of surprise. That was something she hadn't been expecting. Does this mean he wants to be best friends? She thought, a thrill going through her. "You're so nice! I'm glad you came here too, cause otherwise I never would have met you and we wouldn't be best friends! That's a sad story though, I'm so sorry that happened-- but hey, you might not have come to the Clans otherwise, so something good came out of it!" Hawkfeather mewed. That was just her way; looking on the bright side. She wasn't trying to put the severity of what had happened down...she was just trying to find that one sliver of light in the darkness. She had done the same during the rule of Ratnight; she'd tried helping as much as she could, and she'd stayed away. But that was the one time she hadn't found any good. The one time that she had failed in what she wanted to do. And she hadn't liked it at all. The words he spoke next confused her; did he really believe them? She wasn't sure whether she wanted to or not, since she had wished so hard for so long and nothing had come true. Oh sure, Ratnight had been killed. Oh sure, ThunderClan was back to normal. But she had guessed both of those things would happen sometime anyways.

And the expression that next came on his face made her uncomfortable. He looked as though she had just slapped him in the face. I did mess it up. Oh, Hawkfeather... the she cat sighed, her expression fading to a worried one. "I'm sorry. That was rude. I just met you, and I'm already asking you if you want to be my best friend. Awkward! Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. My fault completely." Hawkfeather mewed, a look of worry crossing over her features as she looked at him. She felt bad that she had made him uncomfortable, but at the same time, she wondered what she had said to do that. It must have been her asking to be best friends. What else could it possibly have been? Nothing. That was it. The only thing that she could have said. But when he said he would like to be friends, a smile spread across her features.

"Oh good, because I like you a lot and I want to be friends. Sorry I made you uncomfortable though. Maybe someday we'll be best friends, cause I really like you-- I already said that, didn't I? Nevermind, but maybe we will be best friends-- I already said that too. Oops. Anyways, I was just going to say that I think you're going to be a really great friend." Hawkfeather mewed, stumbling over her words. She normally stumbled over her words. It was somewhat fun...at least, she supposed so. The tip of her tail twitched back and forth as she grinned at the tom. This was nice. It had been a while since she'd made new friends. And Bluejay was going to be a great friend, she had the feeling he wasn't as grumpy as he seemed to want her to think. She was stumped as to why, however. Wouldn't it be better to make cats think he was friendlier then he looked, not grumpier? At his question, she burst into laughter, a smile etched firmly on her features. "No, I don't collect them. I just like to look at them. I found a lot of rocks a while ago, I can take you to look at them if you want! They're really pretty. There's a ton of white ones, and some black ones-- ooh, a grey one too! Have you seen a lot of grey rocks before? I find mostly white ones and black ones, sometimes these weird--looking red ones, but not that many grey ones." Hawkfeather explained with a bright smile as she glanced at the tom, awaiting his reply.

"Heheh, yeah," he chuckled in humorous, matter-of-fact way. When the she-cat sat down neatly, Gyrestar found it in him that it was appropriate for he to do the same. When the senior warrior went straight to the point and suddenly became his councilor, the tom had a look of surprise. He paused when she finished, quite bluntly she did, too, and made a sort of confused sound from inside him and looked away with pursed lips like he thought she was going to continue.
"Uh, well..." Gyrestar stammered, not sure what to say to this cat whom he didn't even know her name. "You see, StarClan knows I'm really heckin', you know, stressed but I really don't know you!" He meowed with a sidelong gaze for the she-cat, regaining himself. But after a few moments of Gyrestar's staring, his neck fur started to prickle slowly. Psh, what bad does it do?
"Y'see, long story short, here, I'm not sure I signed up for this! Like, I just kind of came, then Sweetolive died in a flood, some starry warrior from your guys' ancestors came down and told me that I was to be deputy and like, come on! Me? Like, I'm some weirdo who came from "far, far away," and you throw me to lead a Clan and now, Ashstar dies, Zerosight steps down, and I'm all alone again! aagain! I swear, I'm cursed!- newly made apprentices are more accustomed to the Clans then me!" The tall tom laughed in disbelief.
She eyed the leader through casual slits. "I have been a warrior before you have been apprenticed. You don't need to know me for us to have a conversation." she mewed calmly-her words were in no need a way to disrespect the leader, but it was true. "Starclan chose you for a reason,it may feel like everything is weighing down on you,but I'm sure they wouldn't chose just anycat." the words she mewed were complete honesty. She lived and breathed the warrior code and faith, and had never ending faith and dedication for her warrior ancestors. "Some things take time,Gyrestar. It's normal to doubt yourself at times like this, but Thunderclan has lived on and on,so I am sure it will continue doing so." She didn't want the leader to stress to much, some stress was good a normal, but she didn't want a leader who doubted themselves when all was tough. "Just give it time,I promise you."

The willowy tom cocked his head up, eyes wide with surprise when a shout cut through the fog in his head. But he immediately was forced into snort-laughter, a smile hoisting his cheeks as he realized his friend. His expression looked a bit like honey; with smile of somebody who's stress had been turned into honey by one simple moment.
"U-uwa! It's A-Antstep!" Gyrestar copied the striped tom, tumbling onto his back with his instincts, in fact, alarmed at the unnatural fall. But he made a shocked squawk when his head bonked against the huge Highledge behind him. He squeezed his eyes shut at the screaming headache occurring. "Ouch!" Gyrestar said with a pouty voice, but a remaining grin, as he rubbed the back of his head with a paw.

The slim tom twisted himself and flopped back onto his belly, movements graceful and quick- resembling a snake. "Damn right- thats my name!" The Toyger lowered his head, shifting his gaze to the leader. He stalked towards the leader, a playful smirk settled on his angular features. He stopped midstalk as Gyrestar practically gave himself a concussion. A loud snort fell from his maw, stepping forward to nudge the tom to his feet with his head. Antstep laughed, whipcord tail thrashing and waving behind him in amusement, wide forget-me-not blue orbs focused on the well muscled tom. "Wow- You clumsy doofus!" He snorted inbetween his laughs, lifting a small paw to cuff the tom around his ears. "Can't believe you're leader now! I mean, I always thought it would be you bowing at my feet, but dreams can be dreams." He shrugged, a small smile on his maw. "Also- are you okay? I know your head is hollow-" He snickered. "but you sounded like you lost a life there,I thought you cracked your head open!"

Everything was changing. Everything around Timberpaw, even the very foundation that he had always thought was so strong was changing. And he hated it; the word change made him think of everything bad, and ugly, and horrible. The word 'forever' gave him mixed feelings; he'd heard that word a lot recently, and wasn't sure quite how he felt about it; good or bad. And then there was Apurva. How long had it been since he had seen the pretty loner? The first time he had met her had been disastrous. The second time, better...and the third, even better. And now they were the best of friends. Timberpaw felt a slight shudder go down his spine, prickling at it and giving him the sense that something bad was going to happen. It seemed he got that sense a lot. Whenever something good was going to happen, which had made him change his mind. Perhaps Apurva would show up again... that would make his day. Literally, make his day. The tip of Timberpaw's tail twitched back and forth, back and forth, moving first quickly then slowly, almost like the snails or caterpillars that he saw crawling along the ground once in a while. When he was a kit, he had loved to chase the ugly caterpillars and had shunned the beautiful butterflies, brightly colored insects. More change; something that Timberpaw was beginning to wonder if it was a bad or good thing. Parts of him were unsure whether he liked the change that was happening within himself.

Was he a good cat, or a bad cat? He had fought for StarClan, the side of the good, the side that should always be in every cat's heart. But then again, now he was reconsidering the side he had chosen. Should he have fought alongside his Clan? Instead of the strangers who had come, calling themselves 'liberators?' And now those strangers were a part of the Clans...his allies, and his enemies. He doubted that any Clan would be stupid enough to attack SkyClan now, especially since the leaders all believed in StarClan, and they had all been there when the Clans had fallen. The tip of Timberpaw's tail twitched thoughtfully and, somewhat absentmindedly, his hues began to scan the clearing in search of Apurva once more. As far as he knew, she was still a loner, hanging around the Camp every once in a while and the territory more often then not. As far as he knew, she wasn't a part of the Clans. That made him both sad and happy-- part of him wanted to remember her forever as a loner, as the loner that had come into his life, and part of him wanted her to be a part of this part of his life, this part with fighting and good and evil, and everything that he had known growing up since he had been a young apprentice. How long had it been since he had seen Apurva, again? Several moons, as far as he knew. However long it had been, it had been a while, and it was disappointing to him to know that she wasn't there at this moment. Then again, Timberpaw had never been the most patient tom.

For example- how was she supposed to know Mistkit didn't want to talk?! She had just wanted to make sure that she-cat was alright. Well, she told herself, if she doesn't want my help, she doesn't deserve it! At least, that's what mom would've said. She fluffed her tail, irritated.

However long it had been, it had been a while, and it was disappointing to him to know that she wasn't there at this moment. Then again, Timberpaw had never been the most patient tom.

Kiwipaw had been only recently made an apprentice, and she had yet to tell Timberpaw. Ever since earning the name, Kiwipaw, she'd been out in the territory, thinking. She hoped that she hadn't made a mistake, by joint ThunderClan, but it felt right. It was going to take some adjusting to, and she knew that she would have to change her entire way of life, but it was, she hoped, worth it. So far, there'd been nothing to tell her otherwise, at least, nothing of great importance. She looked around. The strange patterned calico was standing just outside the entrance to camp, steeling her courage. She was about to enter ThunderClan camp. Her new home. It would probably be permanent, but there was a very slim chance that it wouldn't be. She was a bit sad that she was no longer a loner, but she doubted that she would miss it all that much. Now, she had a proper home, and could start anew. Taking a long, deep breath, the young molly pushed through the thorn tunnel into the throng of cats, searching for a brown tabby tom with green eyes. Head swiveling from side to side, the apprentice spotted the cat she was looking for. She felt bad for not visiting more often, but she had been busy trying to catch food for herself, careful never to hunt inside ThunderClan borders. Whenever she did, she would creep into camp and leave it at the fresh-kill pile. Slowly, she padded over to Timberpaw, her head lowered in greeting. He looked deep in thought, so she refrained from speaking, as Kiwipaw didn't want to startle him. She hesitated, then sat down, slightly to his side, facing him.

She still didn't speak, as she was waiting until he seemed less deep in thought. She kind of liked that about him. The way he always seemed both thoughtful and calm at once. She knew that he was many other things. Things many wouldn't take the time to notice. Things that weren't as good, but she felt that she could help. “Hey, Timberpaw.” she said at last, brushing away all her growing uncertainties about the decision. But unfortunately, that left room for the itching, uncomfortable warmth in her fur. Sighing, she scratched behind one ear with her hind leg in a dog-like way. She'd picked it up from her loner days, and it was rather soothing. Almost instantly, the heated sensation faded to nearly nothing, and she relaxed a bit more. A smile curved her lips upwards slightly. She could hardly wait to tell Timberpaw about what had happened. About how she was now called Kiwipaw, and not Apurva. Wrapping her tail neatly over her paws, she opened her mouth and began to speak again. “Anyways, I'm sorry I didn't visit more often. It's been a harsh leafbare, and I've been quite busy.” she said apologetically, dipping her head to him. She felt really bad, but hoped that he understood. It wasn't like he'd come to visit her, either, so they were even. Shaking herself, she waited patiently for his response, her eyes bright.

(This Roleplay is open to anyone!)
Acornslip stepped out of the warriors den and gazed around the camp. Her soft green eyes inspected her fellow clanmates who stood and socialized with each other. She stepped aside to beside the den to reside as she sat ready to groom herself. She roughly lapped at her coarse, long fur until it was smoothened out. Perfect, she thought as she once again looked up. The young warrior couldnt help and be curious of what her clan was up to. After a few moments of just casual staring, she confirmed that she needed to socialize. To whom exactly, she had no idea, nor did it matter.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! Did I step on you!" Moonfeather asked, and realized the she-kit didn't know she was blind."If I stepped on you I didn't mean to! I'm blind!"

Gyrestar didn't comment when she mistook him for being apprenticed in ThunderClan, but still, it probably meant she was about a warrior when he was a little scrap. He still was a bit surprised at the fact that the senior warrior who walked up to him and immediately on switched her councilor-mode.
His face grew hot with flattery when Whiskermoon claimed that StarClan "didn't just choose just anycat," his silvery eyes shining like he didn't deserve the comment.
"Heh, thanks," Gyrestar meowed, looking out at the clearing. On the topic, he was brought back to thought. There's so much I could say. Hah, it's personal stuff. I'll keep us both in a better mood. "So, should I just call you 'mom' or something?" The willowy tom meowed joshingly, trusting that the senior warrior would take the joke.

She knew there was probably more for the leader to say,but she wouldn't prod. It was probably weird enough for a senior warrior to basically march in and act like a therapist, but it was just out of caring. Even if she hadn't had much interaction with the leader, she still had a general need to care for him;as she does with any member of her clan. She let out a snort as the joke,"If you really want to,I don't mind." she chuckled. "But no matter what happens I'm sure you'll make Thunderclan proud, and lead it just as well as Ashstar did. Don't sweat it,you youngsters are always stressed now a days." she joked. She wanted the tom to understand all would come with time, that Starclan had a plan and that everything would be put into place when it was time."If you ever want to talk, mom's here for you, kid." she snorted.

Snowsong chuckled, her eyes lit up as she smiled at the gray tom, a grin on her face. "Truth be told, nor do I," She purred, before grinning teasingly, "And I don't know where you'd be without me either." The Siamese smirked, her tail tip twitching back and forth as her ears pricked up in amusement. Oh, she knew the truth was that without Stormstrike, Snowsong honestly wouldn't know what to do!

"Oh please," Stormstrike replied, snorting. Although looking into his eyes, it was clear to see he was definitely joking. He knew Snowsong would know no matter what way he tried to hide. He didn't bother to hide it, ahe might as well know. "So, now that you're deputy, what's the first thing you're going to do?" Stormstrike asked her. He was curious if she had anything specific in mind that she wanted to do. Perhaps he could help. The warrior knew that deputies always had a lot to do, surely she would like some help?

It wasn't like he'd come to visit her, either, so they were even. Shaking herself, she waited patiently for his response, her eyes bright.

The brown tabby jumped, practically straight up into the air when he heard Apurva's voice. As far as he knew, she was still a loner, living in ThunderClan as an apprentice and yet, she wasn't one. Perhaps someday she would be, and that would be one of the best days of Timberpaw's life. He couldn't wait for them both to become warriors after that, and who knew what the next step would be? Rule of ThunderClan for her, or for him? Well-- probably not, but if he ever became leader, he knew exactly who he would choose as his deputy. Or did he? That might be a little bias, considering Apurva was, in fact, his best friend as well as his...crush? Was that the proper word for it, then? They were old enough that he didn't really think much of crushes, anymore-- perhaps love would be a better word to describe the pelt warming, temperature rising, heart racing feeling that Apurva seemed to give him.

Either love or some sort of disease. Timberpaw concluded with a firm nod of his head. He would be a warrior any day now. With Gyrestar returned, and Snowsong as deputy-- which he wasn't quite sure how he felt about that-- things were going to be just fine. Snowsong seemed like such a young cat, though... was she going to be able to run the Clan with Gyrestar, in a way that would be beneficial to her clanmates? And he knew there would be warriors who weren't happy about it... warriors who had thought that they were better suited for the job. Timberpaw himself was glad; well, at least he was grateful that she was Deputy. She seemed like she'd do just fine, not to mention being a great friend to Gyrestar... was that what he wanted?

"Hi." He greeted, his words halting in his throat a bit before he was able to continue speaking. She was the one thing that seemed to have him completely tongue tied, and he was unable to do a thing about it. So what was he supposed to do? Well...he thought, with a sigh, shifting his weight unhappily. There was no telling what he was supposed to do. Sure, he could think of plenty of things he wanted to do, but what was the one thing that would...impress her? Make her happy? Feel sorry for him? He could always get sympathy that way. "I know. I know. And with Zerosight having stepped down-- but at least there's a new Deputy now, right? And a new Medicine Cat. We can be grateful to have both, can't we?" He mewed, giving her the slightest nudge, with a smile on his maw. That same goofy smile that had been there before-- and he hated looking that way, he was positive he looked like a fool. "Any news?" He asked after a while, when he was able to regain his posture and his professionalism-- the professionalism of an 11 moon old apprentice.

Falconkit flattened her ears back at the strange use of words. "Blind?" She echoed, trying out the word on her tongue. What a strange thing. What kind of condition is that? She looked up at Moonfeather, but there didn't seem to be anything physically wrong with her. Was it a mental mind-issue? "I'm not sure what that means..."

In the sighting of a fellow ThunderClan kit, Falconkit's paws twitched with excitement. She momentarily forgot all about the strange 'blind' word that perplexed her. "Hello! I'm Falconkit, I was talking to Moonfeather!" The youngster tried twitching her tail, but the action of moving it hurt.

Icefang thinking of names, she had just had them, and her and Gazeshadow had not thought of them that much. She was actually going to name the oldest son Lionkit. " Actually I was thinking about it at one point." Icefang said to the Main Coon. Her blue eyes gazing down at the male grey kit at her stomach, she flickered her tail around her four kits.
"Aw how sweet I always knew you love me." he laughed, looking down at them. "Little bundles of cuteness, they are. Oh, I think I forgot to say congrats, not sure if I should." he purred, now he was just picking on her, but that was their relationship. He usually always messed with her, picking in her, teasing her, everything to get on her nerves ever since he was an apprentice. It never failed too.

Her sister, was the prankster, and loved to get on Lionheart's nerves when he was an apprentice, she still acts like a kit..it was a bit funny.

Kiwipaw looked around quickly, her eyes narrowed against the lighting, which was brighter than that of the forest, and she was not yet accustomed to the sunny clearing, or, as sunny as a cloudy day. It was strange, being here, with all these other cats, but she had once been used to being around other cats, and the newly made ThunderClan cat was confident that she could do it. She looked back towards the brown tabby tom, wondering what was running through his head at the moment. It wasn't very important, but she was curious. She wasn't going to ask or anything, as it would be rather personal, and quite strange to be honest. It would be rude and unkind of a question, so the molly contented herself with rolling a twig between the ground and her paws, her ears twitching randomly as she tried to block out some of the commotion from all the cats around her, talking. She was surprised that no one else seemed bothered by the noise, but them, perhaps they were all used to it, and, in truth, she was not. Looking back up, the former loner felt the twig snap under her paw. It felt strange, to look at all these cats, and see them as Clanmates, and not Clan-ers. She sighed, realizing that now, she too, was a Clan-er, and a Clanmate to everyone around her.

She didn't know much of what had been happening in the Clan, other than Gyrewind was Gyrestar, the deputy was now Snowsong— although she was clueless as to who that was. And Zerosight was not medicine cat, Wheatfur was. It was all very confusing, but she supposed that that was how Clans were, and she would have to learn to live with that. She gave her fur a slight shake, her paws itching to move. She wished she could go back, and walk forever like she once had, but something held her back. Deep down, she knew what— no, who—it was. It was Timberpaw. He had been her reason for staying in ThunderClan. Kiwipaw looked at him, wondering what it was about him that had made her stay. Perhaps it'd been that he looked like he needed help, and she was here to give it to him.

She was pulled from her thoughts as she realized that Timberpaw had said something, and she wasn't entirely sure what. He was probably saying hi, but she wasn't certain. Swiping her tongue over her maw, she looked up, her fur feeling warm. She wasn't sure what to say, and found that she couldn't bring herself to ask him what he'd said. Kiwipaw looked at him, pulling away slightly as he nudged her, that same goofy grin that she found rather ridiculous, but she remembered that he'd done it not long after they'd first met. “Yeah. Now ThunderClan is not as vulnerable.” she meowed quietly, her ears feeling warmer than was comfortable. She gave a slight purr, wondering how he would react to her news, hopefully, he would be alright with her having joined ThunderClan at last. “Well, I'm not Apurva. I'm Kiwipaw now, and, I'm part of ThunderClan officially.” she said, scuffing at the icy ground with one alabaster paw, her eyes wandering and slightly uncertain. “You have any news?” she said quickly, looking up.

Should I apoligize? No, not worth it. She wouldn't except anyway. All I did was call her a kit! And yes Mistkit, just because your almost an apprentice doesn't mean you aren't a kit.

A darker colored tom slowly made his way out of the warrior's den. His blinked his pale orbs and watched the clan-life around him. He shook out his thick fur, it seemed thinner this year despite being slightly matted - though unnoticeable unless you were near him - and a cold breeze rippled though his fur, and hit his sensitive skin. But the warrior hardly reacted, and continued watching his clan-mates, trying to shake the lonely feeling he felt. Finchcall had actually never been the type to gain many friends, but rather get attached to anyone whom happened to get close to him. He felt deeply for those in his life - which was both good and bad for him.

It was good because he was loyal to them. He would do anything for them, and in return they seemed to care for him too. He and Cardinalpaw had been inseparable when they were younger. Finchcall would never let those who bullied his brother get away. He was always there for his smaller litter-mate, no matter who they were up against. A even he and Crescentmoon had become quite close. They became friends and Finchcall would help her with her training since her mentor seemed to be too busy and he was older than her so he was ahead in training.

But then there was the bad side.... After his brother had died, he had felt lost. The cat he had know for all his life and had been with him no matter what, had died. He didn't even have parents or any other siblings to cry on their shoulder. The only other cat he had grown close enough to had been Crescentmoon. He feel in love with her not too long after they had met, and he thought they would someday become mates. But she never loved him. In fact, he had begun to realize that his crush's heart belonged to the late medicine cat of Thunderclan. It broke his heart, but the last straw was when she disappeared. Now he truly did have no one. He hadn't made that many friends... he did have a few, but he wasn't sure if he would bother them by trying to find and speak to them.

He was a mental mess, and honestly wasn't sure if he wanted to force that one to someone else.

Finchcall's stomach growled, as if snapping at him for not eating yet. The warrior snapped his gaze away from his lively clan-mates and gave a low sign as he began to head towards the fresh-kill pile in search of some food. He hesitated for a few heartbeats before picking up a small robin and bringing it towards the edge of the clearing. The clan seemed to be doing better. Not too long after the Second Evil Era had ended, they had lost their leader. But now everything had calmed down, the former deputy became leader. He had chosen a new deputy to take the vacant spot. They had even lost a medicine cat when Zerosight stepped down to join the elders. But he was quickly replaced with Wheatfur. The dark warrior fluffed out his unusually thin pelt and began mindlessly taking bites out of the small bird at his paws.

The dark warrior fluffed out his unusually thin pelt and began mindlessly taking bites out of the small bird at his paws.

Snowsong gazed around the clearing from where she was near a tree in the corner of camp. She had her black paws tucked neatly under her, the Siamese's ice blue eyes flickering from each cat and back again. Her ears twitched thoughtfully as she hummed to herself, tail tip flicking back and forth almost unconsciously. She was alone, and when she was alone, she allowed her thoughts to run free. She thought of Stormstrike, of Berry, the ShadowClan apprentice she'd met many moons ago. All of them invaded her thoughts, making a small smile pull at her lips.

And then she thought of her new duties. The new ThunderClan deputy shifted into a more comfortable position, a more serious look darkening her features. It would be difficult, wouldnt it, to help lead a Clan? Hopefully Gyrestar would teach her everything she needed to know. It still puzzled her, faintly. After all the cats that could have been chosen, loyal, brave cats, Gyrestar singled her out. The thought warmed her all over. She had to make him proud, she had to make her Clan proud.

Going back to studying her Clanmates, Snowsong lifted one of her forepaws and gave it a small lick before running it over her muzzle. Watching them all gave her a feeling she couldnt describe, but she felt protective, like a mother watching over her kits. She wanted them all to be safe and protected. In fact, while her undying loyalty lies with ThunderClan, she wanted every single cat to be safe and protected. She knew, she couldnt protect every single cat, but she would do the best she could for her own Clan. Thats what counted, right?

She paused in her grooming, one paw mid-air as her eyes rested on a dark colored Tom across the clearing. Finchcall, right? Her eyes narrowed slightly in confusion as she took in the expression on his face. He looked zoned out, almost upset. This made Snowsong frown. If there was ever anything the Siamese she-cat couldnt stand, it was seeing other cats with that look on their face, with the look Finchcall had. The protective feeling came back, and she found herself pushing herself to her paws. Maybe I can cheer him up.

Giving her short pelt a quick shake, she lowered her head and gave her chest fur a few quick licks before fixing her eyes once more on the Tom. The deputy started over to him, her head tilting instinctively to the side as she drew closer. "Hey, there," She mewed, a kind smile on her maw. "Everything alright?"

Zero to Hero

Firekit had not a singe doubt about how lucky she was. Not one. She felt bad for others, really. While she was warm and cozy with her coat of thick, warm fur, other cats were freezing their tails off. There really wasn't much the young kit could do besides offer the other kits some moss from her nest to keep them warmer during the nights. Then again, such luck came with a price. Summers were not at all too great for the thick furred cat, especially since there was nothing she could do to cool herself down then. In the winders, shorter furred cats could add more bedding, maybe sleep closer to other cats, but no. There was nothing to cool off thick furred cats in the summer. Besides swimming, and even then, no matter how hot it got, Firekit would not stoop so low to cool herself down. If she was literally on fire, she wouldn't go into the water. She was most definitely not a fish. She was a cat. And cats were simply not made for swimming. Unless, of course, you're a RiverClan cat. Which she wasn't. Firekit was a born ThunderClan cat and was nothing less than that.
The thought of the overly hot summers actually didn't sound so bad to the kit. She could barely go into the clearing without stumbling in the snow from the recent major blizzard. Of course Firekit hadn't ever experienced a real green-leaf before, being at the mere age of four moons. Firekit had been born at the end of leaf-fall, so all she knew was cold; despite her name. Some older cats didn't like her much because of her name. Apparently, there had been a fire several moons ago, and her name merely brought up buried memories. Of course, she was not named after the fire. Her bright orange pelt was her namesake.
Firekit glanced around the clearing, looking for someone, anyone to chat with before she got too bored, which often happened. Being only a kit, she didn't have very much to do besides lay around all day. None of the other kits wanted to play because it was too cold, and she'd been inside the nursery for too long, she was growing antsy. But now that Firekit was out of the cramped den, she found that there was even less to do in the snow-covered clearing.

Sablekit wandered away from the warmth of the nursery as sneakily as she could, keeping a careful eye out for her adopted mother. However, she almost regretted the action when she realized how cold is was out in the clearing. However, the thick walls that surrounded the camp did a lot to keep the chilly wind from making it seem even colder. Sablekit wasn't a complainer though, she just flulffed up her short sleek fur as best as she could and trudged on.
The snow in camp was brown and full of paw prints, much to her disappointment. She missed when the snow had just fallen and was pretty and untouched, basically begging to be jumped in. However, this brown slush was disgusting looking. The kitten almost wished it was snow again just so that she could have more to play in. What am I suspose to do now? She wondered, realizing now that she was out here, that there wasn't actually anything to do if there was no clean snow to play in. "Hm..." She hummed, looking for something to do, speicifically someone she could talk to. Surely, there was somebody that was as bored as she was. The bright orange tabby pelt of Firekit's caught her attention first, and she instantly began to make her way over to the similarly aged kitten. "Hi there! I'm Sablekit! You wanna play?" The words came out in one quick rush of air, and in the excitement of actually finding someone, she forgot to ask the other kitten's name.

If there was one thing that Firekit couldn't agree more with, it was that freshly fallen snow was far better than the brown, muddy slush that covered the clearing floor. She missed it's fluff, the rolling mounds of it, how the snow was deepest against one farthest wall due to the wind blowing it in that direction. She missed the snowflakes. The little white flakes of snow that fell from the sky were nothing less than graceful. They were mesmerising, even if they were nothing more than frozen rain. But now, nothing fell from the sky, and the snow that stayed on the ground was melting, the wet earth's dirt mixing into the melting snow. The tons of paw prints seemed to mix up the snow, turning it brown and ugly. Firekit wished for the ugliness to just melt away entirely.
When she heard the voice of another kit, she quickly turned her head in the direction of the voice. She saw another kit, and they were asking to play. "Hello!" She chirped friendily. At her question, Firekit nodded enthusiastically. "Sure! I'm so bored, there's nothing fun to do here other than play." She complained, but smiled all the same. "What do you want to play?" She asked, her ginger head cocked to one side as she awaited Sablekit's response.

(sorry it's so short :c)

The long furred tom didn't notice Snowsong as she made her way over towards him. He continued to stare blankly at the prey he was chewing on. His thoughts still remained on his missing friend. He wasn't sure why she hadn't chosen to be with him - it wasn't like he thought he was better then others, just that he didn't understand why the silver molly had wanted to be with Northpath instead of anyone else. He had thought that him and Crescentmoon were close enough that she would at least consider him... but that wasn't the case. Now Northpath was dead and Crescentmoon's whereabouts were unknown.

The tom was still a bit hung up about her choosing Northpath over him. And the fact that she disappeared without a word to him....

Finchcall's ears twitched when he heard pawsteps heading his way, but he didn't expect them to stop beside him. He had thought that they belonged to a passing cat. But the warrior's ears perked up in surprised as he heard the voice of the deputy began to speak to him. He turned his yellow orbs towards her, watching the siamese in surprised through his slightly clouded gaze. He straightened up. He usually didn't care how the others saw him, but this was the deputy of the clan and therefore he didn't want her to think of him as a disheveled and/or weak warrior to the clan.

But his ears twitched again when she asked if everything was alright. He glanced away for just a moment before returning his pale gaze towards her ice blue ones. "Yes, I'm fine," he lied. The tom didn't even try too hard to hide the lie. But he honestly didn't want her to worry about him. Sure he needed someone to talk to, and to just have as general company, but he knew that Snowsong must have more important matters to attend to. Besides, he wasn't sure if he wanted to confine in her - he didn't know her personally. Finchcall didn't question Gyrestar's choice for deputy, but he just wasn't sure how much he should say to the respected molly. They weren't too close since they had just met, and despite her seeming to have a genuine care for his well-being - he still doubt that he could tell her all.

(Dont worry 'bout it ^^)
Snowsong's head immediately tipped to the side as she studied the Tom. She could easily see he was lying - Mostly because he didnt sound convincing, probably not even to his own ears. Snowsong's mouth set in a determined line before a smile cracked through again. The Siamese she-cat sat down, her tail curling around her paws as she looked at Finchcall.

"You sure?" She didnt want to press too hard, but she did want to cheer him up. She didnt like seeing frowns, at all, and did whatever she could to turn them into cheerful smiles. But, She reminded herself, as she had to do constantly. Not all cats are as happy-go-lucky as I am, right?

Besides, this Tom might not be too keen on opening up to her. They didnt know eachother personally, and perhaps it was a bit...Intimidating to speak to the deputy? Deputy or not, im just like any other cat. They know that, I know that. Still, she had to admit she hardly knew Finchcall, but that didnt stop her from wanting to see him at least crack a smile. Silently she wondered what he would be upset about, but it could be so many things!

Snowsong shook these thoughts away and returned her attention back to Finchcall, knowing she was getting sidetracked. That happened often, she disappeared into her thoughts every once in a while. "You can talk to me if you have something on your mind, I have time to listen. Or I could just talk to you." She said, smiling, then added, "or I can just sit here with you and we dont have to talk. Sometimes when we're upset, we just need someone to be near us." She was quoting her fathers words, a warm feeling running through her as she thought of the Tom.

[Sorry about this late reply! ^^']
Silvercloud listened intently to what Echospeck had to say. Silvercloud listened carefully to everything Echospeck said. She didn't like to miss out on anything, she was all ears when it came to Echospeck. "You managed to catch some rabbits? That's great! Leaf-bare is always gives everyone a hard time when it comes to catching rabbits, or any animal really", Silvercloud remarked. The ThunderClan watched curiously as Echospeck appeared to be....preparing himself for something? What's he going to say?, Silvercloud thought curiously. The tabby suddenly, and rather randomly, remembered how Echospeck normally went out in the evening to hunt or patrol. Perhaps....he was going to ask her if she wanted to come? The idea excited her, if that really was what was going to happen, then she would be able to spend more time with Echospeck! The tabby she-cat didn't let her disappointment show as Echospeck asked her something else. "It's getting better each day!", Silvercloud said cheerfully. Normally, the ThunderClan was a lot more emotionless when she was near her clanmates, except, Nettleclaw and Echospeck were the only ones who could get her hard exterior to crack and she let down her walls for them.

Briarwish watched Nettleclaw curiously before rolling her eyes in amusement. Briarwish was a snappy cat. She had hardly any patience and was quite a grumpy cat with that. She did have a sense of humour though. She was also extremely sarcastic. Snappy and sarcastic, yes, two great words to describe her. Briarwish padded into the apprentice's den, using a small hole to get in. The she-cat wasn't a very big cat, she was quite small for a warrior her age. "Stalker much", Briarwish remarked as she walked up behind Nettleclaw.

Nettleclaw's paw slipped down the dirt opening as his startled nerves sent him slightly airborn. He turns his head and his eyes meet with Briarwish's, "N-No...Wh-What? What do you mean? I... I'm filling in a hole here." He scrapes some dirt from in front of him and pats it down at the opening. In turn though, that scrape loosed the dirt above him and sent a decent dirt pile landing on his head. Nettleclaw didn't shake the dirt off, just dropped his ears and observed this familiar cat. "Who are you, anyway?"

"Glad to hear it." Echospeck purred. Suddenly at a loss for words, he licks his shoulder, Come on, just don't think about it... I can't, I need time, wake up a bit more. He stands and stretches out his hindlegs. "I haven't heard anything from Snowsong, so... I thought I'd try patrolling on my own." He lies back to his side, his tail curled around his ankles. "Since we bump into eachother so often, and if your going out... You want to, leave together?"

Frondkit grinned at his sister, glad that she had slept well. He stayed like this for a moment before rolling over sideways onto his side and looking up at his sister.
"That's good." He purred, beginning to bat at his littermate's ear with his white paw in playful glee.

Pondkit got that 'really' look on her face. She lifted her paw and pushed away his paw.

Frondkit frowned at his sister's words, somewhat hurt by them even if he perfectly well knew that what she said was entirely correct. He was rather immature, but he was also young.
Not expecting her to pounce on him, the young kit squeaked loudly as she did so and lifted his paws up to cover his face, small paws flexing slightly and exposing his pale pink pads to the kitten on top of him.
"Hey!" He squeaked playfully and batted at her nose lightly with his soft pads, beginning to giggle once more.

A brown tabby padded into the clearing. Things had been changing quite a bit recently... and the tom knew that they would continue to change, at least he guessed so. Why wouldn't they? Change was constant, always happening, and the tom knew that it would continue to interfere not only in his life but in the lives of everyone around him. Like Apurva. And my sister...he thought, his hues flashing as he realized he hadn't seen her. Not in a while, anyways. Not since they had fought against Ratnight, with SkyClan... at least he had. He couldn't remember what she had been doing. The tom looked down at his paws uncomfortably, wondering what she thought. He was hoping that she would be around this morning-- they could catch up, and hang out more. He had missed her, even though they had fought occasionally...after all, they were siblings. But they were also family, and family should look out for each other in his opinion... and he felt as though he hadn't done a very good job recently.

Moonfeather purred. This kit was so small, so innocent, so... not the... Evil Era. Sadness flickered in Moonfeather's eyes for a split second. No. She thought.I can't be like that. It left so many scars on a lot of my clan mates, on the inside and out. I need to stay strong for my clan mates. Moonfeather smiled at the kit.

Briarbranch slipped into the clearing, a smile on her face. She was still giddy about what just had happened, the happiness not wearing off. She had a mate now. Cloudedsky. She felt nothing but joy,but it seemed something was missing. During the "era" she had been busy with warrior duties, keeping borders safe so it had taken her time away from her brother and that she had regretted. So the large mollys eyes lit up as she saw the familiar tom, tail rising in the air in excitement. "Timber !" he mew was full of excitement as she made her wy over to the other cat,she hadn't seen him in so long. It felt like a reunion honestly. In the EE she had been so scared for him, that he would be okay. So seeing him breathing was a blessing.

The brown tabby looked up, seeing a familiar figure coming his way and hearing her call his name. That voice was one from his younger moons, and one that he knew all too well-- Briarbranch? He thought in surprise, getting to his paws as the she cat approached. Part of him felt somewhat nervous...after all, he hadn't seen his sister in moons...but part of him was thrilled. Although perhaps he deserved a 'Worst brother of the year' award for not even checking in on her, he knew there must be much worse brothers somewhere. Like Ratnight, for example...right? Surely they were worse then he was, just for not checking in. But at the same time, he still felt bad. "Briar! I meant to-- after Ratnight died-- I thought-- anyways, that doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're alive," He purred, a smile coming onto his features. It wasn't often that Timberpaw couldn't finish a sentence, but it seemed that Briarbranch had stolen his speech from him as well. Part of that was that he was relieved to see her, and part was that he felt embarrassed for not making sure she was okay and asking her how she was doing first of all. "Are you okay? How have you been? I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch, I've been...busy." The tom mewed at full speed, continuing half babble as he did so.

As usual, Bushhunter was on her own. She didn't take much of an interest in what the other cats were doing, although her pelt-- she hadn't really noticed it, but absentmindedly she had been keeping it clean and neat, and it was recently shining brightly and proudly-- was beginning to become slightly less clean and neat then before. Bushhunter had never been much of a cat to 'clean herself up' so to speak, she had much preferred doing what her name suggested...hunting. Normally she would be looking down on doing something like this, just relaxing and laying around, but then again, the warrior was unpredictable. Some might even say dangerous.
And yet, the she cat wasn't that dangerous. Recently she had befriended a cat who used to be her enemy, a cat who had helped her clean herself up quite nicely, and a cat that Bushhunter was beginning to think of as a real friend. However much she had disapproved of Almondpelt before, she was now approving of her very much. Although one thing she couldn't understand was how the she cat could stand the thought of having a tom for a mate...Bushhunter herself seemed to prefer she cats, though for whatever reason she was quite unsure.
And yet Almondpelt hadn't looked down on that, either. In Bushhunter's opinion, the she cat-- though still prissy and stuck up, when you first looked at her-- was a sweet one. At least she hadn't made fun of the she cat's way of thinking. Bushhunter, on the other paw? Well, she had definitely not been as nice as she could have been about Almondpelt wanting a tom for a mate. And kits, too...though the she cat was aware the whining, fussing, complaining bundles of fluff were the futures of ThunderClan-- and all the Clans, for that matter-- that didn't mean she had to like them. She was looked down upon because of this opinion, for after all...who had heard of a she cat who didn't want kits? Didn't every she cat want kits? Well, Bushhunter was different.
And she most definitely did not want kits.

Brambles rustled at the entrance to the nursery as a tiny, fuzzy bundle pushed her way into the clearing. Bushkit blinked her eyes against the sunlight, which seemed so bright after the gloom of the nursery. This was her first time outside of the nursery and, at the moment, she wasn't too excited about it. She had always assumed that it was this wonderful, miracle of a place from the way she heard the others talking about it. And yet she was met with utter disappointment.

With a sniff, the tabby stuck her striped tail indignantly in the air and started to walk further into the clearing. Her steps were unsteady at first but the further she walked, the more confident she grew. It wasn't long before she was trotting confidently around the camp, nose to the ground and jaws parted to bring in all the different scents.

Leafkit smiled. "Oh, um, it's okay...Well, I'm five moons, my sister Thornkit is over there and......" He trailed off. Watching me.....He motioned with a flick of his tail to the chocolate-colored tabby laying quietly, her amber eyes on her brother. He didn't want to tell Falconkit much about Thornkit, for he thought she would think less of him. "And, um, I guess you can say that I'll be apprenticed soon, I-it's what my father told me." He looked back at Falconkit with a quick glance at Thornkit. Finally! A friend! Thornkit can't do anything about her...at least...

Thornkit watched her brother impatiently, swishing her tail. She has her eyes on her brother, watching the kit's every move, as if she was a predator, focused on her prey. Meanwhile, she restrained herself from shoving her brother away. She did NOT want to get in another fight in front of the other cats. [this is super-late, sorry]

Falconkit'a ear twitched with excitement. "Oh, you're older than me. I'm only four moons old!" She gasped. {Dangit, idk how old her siblings are anymore, I don't think they've been roleplaying them in a while}.

Her eyes flicked over towards another she-kit standing by the corner.Thornkit! She doesn't look as friendly as her brother, but I guess I could try being friends with her later, at another time. I wonder if she wants to be friends with me? Aww, it doesn't look like it, but who knows?

"Anyways, well, you're going to be apprenticed! I think that's a good thing, right? I can't wait until I'm an apprentice myself!"

"Are you mad...?" He didn't want to make his sister mad at him, and his eyes dulled slightly as he spoke.
He removed his paws from his sister's neck, curling them up against his chest as he waited for her response.

She padded closer closer to the tom, a smile on her face. "Cmere lil bro." she purred, resting her head on the smaller cats head. No matter how many petty 'fights' they got in, or how busy they got she had always liked spending time with her brother. She felt scared when they had lost touch for awhile, for his safety. She didn't know what she would've done if he had passed in the battle against Ratnight. "Don't apologize, I'm here to blame here. I'm just glad you seem all and in one piece, out of trouble I hope?" she chuckled. After the era had ended the only thing that left a reminder was the scar on her chest from the battle, but her fur was thick and long and would soon cover the mark up in no time. She was glad to see him, she didn't have any other siblings so it felt nice to have a close bond with her brother. "I've been doing fine, I have a mate now so all is well, what about you? Hows training going? I want you to catch me up on these past moons." She held a smile still, wanting to make up for the moons she had missed.

Quailleaf slid from the warriors den, her gray and white splotched pelt ruffled up slightly. The she-cat sighed quietly and shook out her fur, causing bit and pieces of moss to fall to the ground near her. Rolling her ice blue eyes, she quickly turned her head and gave the fur along her back a few quick licks, trying to groom it down. Her fur all messy like this couldnt do.

When she'd gotten her fur to look decent enough, she shook out out again and turned her gaze to the clearing, gazing around at the cats in silence. Last time I sleep in. "Stop acting like your some sort of medicine cat, shut your mouth and let the older cats do the work, okay?" They glared furiously at the kit, using a large amount of restraint not to leap at the cat and tear his throat out. Hey, less marigold on his wounds, more dirt to cover his grave, a good enough trade off.. No, Remora, cool it.
Darkkit said nothing and just raised an eyebrow, backing away a little further into the confines of Wheatfur's shadowed den.
Night was drawing nearer as the light outside faded to reveal the starry ancestors of the clans. "Yes. Mother." The golden Tom kit mocked through gritted teeth.

Later on that evening, another kit came into the nursery, her eyes wet and bloodshot. This kit was familiar. Her neat white fur and creamy patches once complimented her green eyes but now it was matted and sticky. As the kit approached them further into the den, blood red with the sunset, Darkkit recognised his sister, Lemonkit. "Lemonkit?"
"Hello?"
"Lemonkit! It's me! Darkkit, your brother!"
"Oh..."
"Remember? We haven't been together in ages!"
"Hi!" But the spotted Tom kit wasn't convinced she even cared.

She sighed to herself before padding forward, heading for the fresh-kill pile. I'll eat, then go out. We need the food, but I cant hunt on an empty stomach, can I?
(Sorry short XDD I suffer from writers block)
{It's fine!}

Cormorantstone was already up and had been up since perhaps an hour past dawn, her burly figure pacing the clearing, doing anything to keep her body moving, enjoying the feeling of her muscles rippling beneath that short, grey tabby coat of hers, bringing a toothy grin to her maws. She had worked hard to grow these muscles, had worked hard to be one of the strongest cats in Thunderclan (though it was a self-proclaimed title), and she was enjoying every minute of it. But never did this she-cat take a day away from training as harshly as ever, spending hours of a time out in the territory, striking trees with her bare paws, building up callouses, building her muscles, as if training for an upcoming battle, readying herself. She was always waiting for a battle, always waiting for something that would set her off so that she could truly put her skills to the test. But for now.. She could settle with just sparing, or with the occasional fox or badger in the territory. Btu she was patiently waiting the day when Thunderclan fell into battle again.. Oh yes.

Hours had passed and she continued to pace the clearing, but now she was growing tired of that. The last warriors were padding out of the warriors den and heading to get their breakfast and Cormorantstone finally stopped. Heaving out a breath, the bulky warrior shouldered her way to the pile as well, accidentally hitting some other cat, Quailleaf to be exact, with her shoulder as she made her way to the pile, taking no notice of the physical interaction and almost seeming to not even realize that she had even been near another cat.

Gyrestar leapt atop the Highledge and readied for the ceremonies.
"Let all cat's old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highledge for a Clan meeting, and such." He cited, settling down as he took a moment to let cats gather. "Finally, after the reign of the "night" suffixed leaders, ThunderClan is fully restored and flourishing. Today we have ceremonies for young warriors and apprentices to be."

"Storkpaw, please step forward." Gyrestar watched the tom near. He had made peace with the fact that he had completely forgotten how Ashstar did ceremonies, so something probably wrong and nontraditional would have to do.

"I do."

A starlight colored kit scampered over to the sunlit corner of moss. She flicked her velvety tail, and lie down. She shut her sapphire blue eyes, and entered the world of dreams. Wind blew across Silverkit's face. She could smell blood; cat blood. Where was her mother? She perked her ears, and hear a yowl, right behind her. Silverkit spun. There, behind her a battle was raging. She could see Ashstar twirling and leaping around, slashing. Why was she out of the nursery? Oh yes, she was Silverpaw now. Not Silverkit. Suddenly, a large Shadowclan tom leapt in front of her. His gold eyes met her blue ones. He lashed out with both forepaws. Silverkit woke with a start. "Whew." she thought. Just a dream.

This was the best feeling, better by far than the feeling that had overcome him when he was made an apprentice. Not only the feeling he had, but the extra joy that was brought along as well by the fact that he was becoming a warrior while one of his friends became a warrior with him, and his best friend was becoming an apprentice. They all three were having their ceremonies together, and it was perfect. Storkpaw, now Storkflight smiled widely as he dipped his head respectfully to the new leader. "Thank you so much Gyrestar." He meowed, unable to keep the purr out of his voice. He cats a side glance at Owlpaw, his best friend. He turned again and saw his newest friend, Nightcry. It seemed life couldn't shoot him down. He was a warrior now. Things would be different. His brother wouldn't tease him because he was late becoming a warrior anymore, and he could serve his Clan, and he could live how he wanted, not bound by the training and all. He was a warrior, a full member of the Clan. And that in its self, was the first time he had ever felt like he truly was a Clan cat at heart since the first day his mother brought him home from the Terriotry. He cast a longing, yet happy face to the sky. Thank you Mom

Aime'Storm was currently waiting in the clearing to leave into the territory. This was his first apprentice, so he was fairly nervous about this. He wasn't as nervous, seeing as he had gotten assigned an apprentice he met before hand, so it wasn't like he was jumping into anything new. He wanted to make Krestalpaw the best warrior she could possibly be, and then some. He may have kittypet roots, but he had always had a fondness for the wild, and itching urge for it but never found himself to indulge until later on. He was glad he did, and despite his blood difference he was sure he would train his apprentice to be the absolute best, and more. So here he sat in the clearing, the light brown fur ruffled slightly by the small breeze, sitting and waiting for his apprentice to go on their first training session. It wouldn't really be training, as he was going to just show her around the territory and get to know the shecat but, the bonding was still important.

The tabby began to purr as his sister rested her head on his own, glad to have Briarbranch with him and safe. Safe-- that was the most important thing. And alive. Safe and alive were both very important, but he would settle for just alive if he needed to. "Trouble? Me? Oh please, Briar. You know I'd never get into trouble." He purred, nudging his older sister lightly. Truth was, he didn't get into trouble too often. And especially not in the past few moons, things had been pretty slow for him...there was just the strange matter of Apurva. Kiwipaw now, wasn't it? Yes-- Kiwipaw. His hues sprang open as his sister mentioned having a mate. "A mate? Really? You'll have to introduce me-- I want to make sure it's no one but the best for my sis," He mewed with a smile. Timberpaw thought for a minute, his hues gleaming thoughtfully as he did so. Training-- that was the absolute worst thing. But he'd had his assessment, and should be becoming a warrior any day now. "Training's going absolutely great. I had my assessment-- little brother's catching up to you, Briar." He teased, before his expression grew serious. "And...I did meet a she cat a few-- uh-- few moons ago," Timberpaw remarked, feeling his pelt grow warm at the very thought of Kiwipaw. To him, she would always be Apurva, the loner he had found out on ThunderClan territory. But would she? Now she was a part of ThunderClan...and he wouldn't have to choose between loyalty and love. He could have both.

Kestrelpaw was finally an apprentice. After all those moons of waiting, and wondering when she would finally be one, the time had arrived. And she was determined to be the best apprentice ever. It didn't matter that she was more mature then the other apprentices-- well, some of them, at least. It didn't matter that she was desperate to prove herself. Because Aime'Storm was going to help her with all of that. Already knowing her mentor helped with her nervousness, and now all she could feel was pure excitement. This was going to be great. She just knew it. She approached the former kittypet, although that wasn't exactly the way she thought of him-- to her he was a friend, a companion, and someone who hadn't looked down on her because she was younger. A special type of cat. "Aime'Storm!" She called as she approached him. Her voice was level and calm, showing no signs of the bubbling nervousness she could feel inside her-- after all, it wasn't every day that she would be training. Well, from now on, it was. Almost every day at least. But thankfully she was getting to do it with a familiar cat, one who would someday be one of her closest friends. That was her hope, anyways.

A pair of pure white paws crunched against the snow they padded on lightly through the clearing, blending in with it while doing so. Though, the tom’s gray, black, and ginger mottled markings is all that stopped his whole body from being built-in camouflage. That would've been nice. Fun, even, to sneak up on a distracted friend and scare them, being able to playfully tease them while they could always somehow do the same. The tom didn't have much to do as of now, other than sit around in the clearing or go for a hunt. But, that didn't sound all fun right now. Maybe being assigned a patrol would've been alright. Being assigned by Gyre- Wait, no, he would've been assigned by Snowsong, the new deputy. Bummer. Well, not that it was bad that Gyrestar wasn't deputy, he was actually quite happy for him to have become leader. He knew that when there was no medicine cat and no deputy, it would've been quite stressful. He would've comforted him if he could bring himself to. He probably would've just gotten all awkward and stuttery, like always. He looked up at the the sky, the sun just above his head, indicating that it was mid-day. Half way there, Snowy! He told himself with a determined look. He didn't mean to, but he looked directly at the sun, his eyes burning a bit and his vision going white. “Aagh!” He shut them tightly before reopening them, the spot where the sun was looked as if it was still there, but black. He shut his eyes again, but didn't open them soon enough to see the cat in front of him, so he bumped into them, his head against their own. The impact made him fall back onto his rump, but he let himself fall dramatically into his back with shut eyes so he didn't have to look up at the sky again.

Small bump for Dark Melody <3

(Oop! Sorry~ <3)
Quailleaf's eyes were distant, the she-cat obviously deep in thought. Her mind drifted to Eagletalon and she sighed. Will I ever find someone like him again? She thought, but quickly shook her head. She was over him, she had to be over him. She was a warrior now, and that was much more important. Training had always been important to her, ever since she'd become an apprentice, then a warrior. Now she worked even harder - Her Clan needed her. And she would be there, she would fight with them in every battle possible. Her head raised at the thought, her chest almost puffing out in pride.

Her thoughts cut off though when another warrior's shoulder made contact with her own. With a grunt, Quailleaf found herself stumbling sideways, trying to keep herself upright. An annoyed hiss escaped her as she whipped her head around to glare after the cat that had bumped into her - Cormorantstone. "Well excuse you." She scoffed, just loud enough for her to hear. Quailleaf twisted her head and gave her pelt a few quick licks, scowling.

Sorrelkit giggled at Wrenkit, who was flopped onto his back squealing as he struggled to his paws. Cloudykit had been watching them, rolling her pale green eyes as she helped Wrenkit. "Honestly, Wrenkit! Sorrelkit didn't even toss you that hard!" The she-kit mocked, then licked Wrenkit's ear as he glared playfully at her. Sorrelkit smiled, then they decided to play mossball. "I'm tired. I think i'll pass.." Yawned Wrenkit, curling up besides his mother and sleeping softly. Sorrelkit and Cloudykit shrugged, then began the game.

Ravenstorm still felt kind of awkward at the question. Should she tell him of her true past now? Or should she wait? Puzzling thoughts swirled in her mind, and it became evident on her face. "I don't know..." She replied distractedly.

It felt nice to reunite with her brother after so long, it had felt like just yesterday they were fighting Ratnight for the sake of their lives, but it was peaceful. There was no more unnecessary blood shed, no more dictatorship, but peace. Even if Thunderclan had a struggle with having some high ranks at first, they would always succeed as they always have. She purred along with him, "Yeah, her name is Cloudedsky. She's shy but, I'm sure she would love to meet you." she smiled. Cloudedsky wasn't the most sociable cat but she was the kindest, and she knew she would love to meet her brother when given the chance. "Kiwipaw? Tell me more 'bout this Kiwipaw," if cats could wiggle their eyebrows, she would be. She held a grin on her face, seeing her brothers obvious flustered expression, "I'll have to meet her sometime, make sure shes nothing but the best for my lil bro." she said, quoting what he had said moments ago.

--

Aime slipped into the clearing. It was early morning, but not dawn. Ever since being assigned Krestalpaw as an apprentice he felt nothing but excitement, like good jitters on his pelt. To prevent himself from being to hyper he took a stroll around the territory. This was his first apprentice, and he was rather excited. hearing his name called by a familiar voice he perked his ears and smiled, "Hey Krestalpaw, nice to be an apprentice finally, yea?" bright green hues stared back at her, full of warmth and excitement. He wanted to be the best mentor he could be, and hoped that he was going to be. His fluffed out tail twitched a bit in excitement still. "You up for a tour around the territory to start us off ?"

Aime slipped into the clearing. It was early morning, but not dawn. Ever since being assigned Krestalpaw as an apprentice he felt nothing but excitement, like good jitters on his pelt. "Cloudedsky, huh?" The brown tabby cocked his head to the side, thinking for a moment. The way Briarbranch described her sounded exactly like the type of cat he had always imagined his sister to end up with. Funny, considering part of him had wondered if she ever would. But it looked like she had found love of her own. "She sounds great. I can't wait to meet her," He purred happily. Honestly, Timberpaw was just happy to get to spend time with his sister. She could have been seeing a cat who was his worst enemy and he still would have been smiling. Thank goodness this 'Cloudedsky' sounded like the type of cat that he would get along with. Though he and his sister had some things in common, there were other things that were very different between them-- so maybe she had a different type that she looked for in a mate. The tom felt his ears beginning to heat up again at his sister's teasing. "She was a, uh...loner when I met her. And-- and I thought it might be fun to flirt with her, but it...ended up..." His voice trailed off and he shrugged a little. So far, the newly named Kiwipaw was the best friend in his life not to mention the only crush that he had ever had. "You'll like her. She's super friendly, and determined... she has a really helpful nature..." The tom's voice trailed off as he realized he might be talking too much about her.

Kestrelpaw beamed, which was unusual for her-- she normally didn't smile much, having a fairly serious expression on her features. But today was different. She was too excited to hold a serious expression, a calm stance, and another happy smile came over her face. Though her mind might be racing with excitement, her voice-- and her personality-- hadn't truly changed. "Definitely. I was wondering when Gyrestar would start doing ceremonies again, having already gotten his lives and everything." She laughed a little, a smile still on her features. "Guess I got my answer." The she cat cocked her head to the side and thought for a moment. That was the usual thing-- and while normally Kestrelpaw wanted to go big, she decided she didn't want to do anything differently on her first day. This was exciting! And as ready as she was to jump right in, she supposed taking it nice and slow wouldn't do any harm. "Sounds good to me!" Her voice squeaked a little, more like a younger cat's, showing the excitement she was feeling-- along with her stance and expression. For anyone who knew Kestrelpaw, they might have thought something was wrong with her, considering excitement was something that the young apprentice rarely showed.

The warrior's tail twitched as he knew that she could see through his lie. Of course, he hadn't tried to even hide the fact that he wasn't alright - but did it matter? He wasn't in the mood nor had the energy to put effort into lying. Though he supposed that he was never amazing at lying anyway. He never had a reason to lie so he rare had in his life. But now he just didn't feel like talking about such personal matters, especially with Snowsong. Finchcall was aware that she was deputy, and she was only trying to be helpful, but that didn't change the fact that she was relatively a stranger to him.

Sure she seemed nice, but still.... Besides, what was he to tell her? Just rant about some depressing things that had been happening to him? Did she really care that his brother died? That a cat he cared for deeply chose a medicine cat apprentice over him, and then she just disappeared? No, that didn't seem like anything he could tell someone when they've just met. He was sure if he told her this, she would back up slowly from him and simply not bothering with the tom anymore. I know I should have more faith in her. She is the new deputy. But information like this can not be lightly told to just anyone.

He let his gaze observe her, looking the molly up and down. I guess if I knew her better, then she would be the perfect person to confined in, he finally concluded. Finchcall was sure that she was actually a good cat. In fact, she had a warm air about her that made him feel a bit relaxed. They had just officially met and he could already tell how friendly she was. If he had know her better, he was sure that he would entrust her with such personal subjects.

But not right now....

The was a hesitated before the warrior answered. "If you have something to say, then you can talk if you want," he began, stilling playing off that there was nothing wrong with him. "But if you don't want to talk, then we can be silent. You could bring some prey over," he gestured his tail towards the fresh-kill pile in the clearing. He was intimidated to be accompanied by the deputy, but he didn't want to come off too rude to her. He could tell that she wasn't about to leave him alone due to knowing that something was actually wrong with him. He wasn't going to talk about it just yet, but if she did want to talk about something to him then he would listen, and if she was to sit and silently eat or something then he would be alright with that as well.

Spottedkit crouched down and said "It called the hunting crouch, Berrykit." She then spotted a piece of moss to be her prey and leaped landing on it.
"That's nice! Your mentor is going to be surprised!"
Fernglow smiled softly and padded over to his kit, nuzzling her ear.
"You keep this up and you'll be a warrior in no time!"
Berrykit, who rather enjoyed his father's praise and attention, frowned as Spottedkit got congratulated.
"Hey, I can do that to!" The small calico spotted the end of his mother's tail and leaped without thought, spinning himself around and crashing into the ground on top of Owltail's hind leg. The kit groaned and laid on his back paws up like a dead ant.
"Told you I could...ish..."

He wasn't going to talk about it just yet, but if she did want to talk about something to him then he would listen, and if she was to sit and silently eat or something then he would be alright with that as well.

Snowsong nodded and gave a small smile to his words. "We can talk if you want, or you can talk. Im a good listener." She winked at him before standing, shaking out her short, almost prickly white fur. "And good idea. I'll go get us some food. Im not busy at the moment so I have time to sit and talk." She gave him a warm smile, then turned and trotted off toward the fresh-kill pile, her ears pricked.

She wondered what the Tom could be upset about. Did he lose someone? Was he sick? A frown pulled at the corners of her mouth as the thought crossed her mind but she shook it off and let her eyes rake over the fresh-kill pile, padding closer to it. She was at a good pace, but thinking made her slower than usual. I wont make him tell me.

But, She decided as she walked, head high. I can get to know him, and see if I can cheer him up. Thats what matters, and I hate seeing cats upset like this. She was hoping to turn ThunderClan around, to help Gyrestar start a new, better era. What with everything that had happened so far, the fire...

We lost Fernpaw then. Snowsong's ears twitched, and laid back against her head. Her steps faltered for a second before she continued forward. Her sisters death had taken quite a toll on her for the longest of times. She wasnt sure if she would ever really get over it, but she knew that Fernpaw would want her to. Her sister would want her to become a good deputy and maybe one day, leader. But that wasnt important, not as important as serving her Clan to the best of her ability. Thats what Fernpaw would want.

And then there was the Evil Era. Just thinking about it sent shivers down Snowsong's spine. Ratnight had been a cruel leader, almost destroying the Clan. Snowsong recalled the battle with SkyClan, and still couldnt help a faint prickle of guilt. That was the first time she'd ever fought for another Clan, and she wasnt sure she would ever stop feeling bad about that. Though, she couldnt exactly regret it....After all, more blood would have been spilled had SkyClan not won. Had StarClan not won.

And after that had destroyed Snowsong and her siblings. Blackstorm had turned, switching sides in the blink of an eye. She would never forget that, what her brother had done. Killing their father, driving Honeyfur and Eternal out of the territory out of guilt, and then leading Snowsong, her siblings and friends out of ThunderClan into a wasteland, no food, no water, they almost starved. They would have, if not for Honeyfur and Eternal's return. They'd finally chased Blackstorm, Goldensky, and Oakmark out of the territory. She hadnt seen them since.

And then Splashheart had left ThunderClan to go to RiverClan. Snowsong had to smile, shaking her head. Her sister had made the right choice for herself and her kits. No cat should grow up without parents, Snowsong knew this better than anyone. They'd made it to apprentices without their parents, until Roarclaw finally showed up with Fiercestorm and Swiftbreeze. It had been a day to remember, but Snowsong couldnt get it out of her head how Splashheart had been so silent, how Blackstorm had been so cold. She had been so confused when Blackstorm admitted to killing Fiercestorm, and even more confused when Splashheart snapped Swiftbreeze when her mother hadnt respected her decision to leave. But Snowsong had sat, she'd thought.

Now she understood.

Snowsong let her breath out slowly as she reached the fresh-kill pile. The thoughts fell out of her head almost instantly, hiding away for another time. Snowsong lowered her head and grabbed two squirrels in her maw by their tails, turning to head back to Finchcall. In any case, Snowsong wanted everyone in her Clan to be happy and safe. Starting with this Tom. Life was a story, right? Everyone deserved a happily-ever-after.

With a smile, she made her way back over to him, her ice blue eyes warm and friendly. She would make sure, no matter what, that ThunderClan's story had a happy ending.

Spiderkit only watched for a moment as two of his four siblings demonstrated their crouches to Fernglow and Owltail. The tom only snorted once before stepping off of the few stones he had put on the ground to be higher. "I bet I could do better."
Spiderkit mewled getting into the beginnings of a hunting crouch but sicking his tail high in the air happily. Through his gloomy attitude there was always a small sign of happiness. "You couldn't beat me if Gyrestar himself taught you!"
Spiderkit of course was only being silly as it was obvious he didn't even know a thing about hunting. Pride etched his voice before the black tom leaped at Berrykit and landed awkwardly in a pile of fluff on tom of his sibling. "You couldn't catch a mouse even if it was right in front of you."He taunted his attitude getting up.

Spiderkit only watched for a moment as two of his four siblings demonstrated their crouches to Fernglow and Owltail. The tom only snorted once before stepping off of the few stones he had put on the ground to be higher. "I bet I could do better."

"Neither could you!" Berrykit grinned and stuck his tongue out at Spiderkit. Sure, he was just playing around, but why did he have to try to better? The reddish brown calico grunted and pushed Spider off of him, stretching himself out. "That hurt!"

Fernglow chuckled at the competitive spirit his kits had shown. It was something he had as a kit as well, and seeing these kits that were as much a part of him as his leg filled him with pride. He walked over to Spiderkit and Berrykit, then wrapped his tail around the two. "I know you two are brothers, so you'll bump heads daily, but try not to land on your mother or your siblings when you fight each other." The large tom grinned and licked both of this kit's heads, then uncurled his tail and sat next to Owltail.

"Wait, what? 'I guess you'll need some moss too'?! Do you know who your talkihg to?" hissed the grey cat, ears flicking aggressively back.

"Fix your attitude problem, kit," Remora snarled. (Ughhh mobileee)

"Cut it out; its hard to concentrate with you bickering. Anyway; Darkkit, I'm not sure about long term affects..... But you may go now, Lemonkit, escort him, he may be dazed." Wheatfur was brisk and quick, he was tired, and was not in the mood for thing fox-dung. "Remora, may you got out for a minute..... I need a minute."

Darkkit's eyes widened with surprise but he stayed with his sister so he could make sure she's okay.

"Darkkit, go to the nursery, ill get Lemonkit some herbs." He set about getting the herbs from the cracks In the rock, he grabbed some catmint and a few other herbs and gave them to Lemonkit, "Eat them when you get back to the nursery." He mewed briskly.

Falconkit noticed a slight change in Moonfeather. What's going through the warrior's mind? Although the kit was quite uneducated, she could detect facial expressions. Moonfeather seemed happy on the outside, but there was a flicker of an underlying emotion. Sadness? Despair? Longing? All three? It was possible.

But... it can't be anything too major, she convinced herself. and anyways, she's smiling now. It can't be too bad. Falconkit shrugged, shaking her thoughts out of her mind.

"Hey, do you want to do something else now? Can we check out another den?" She asked aloud. "Maybe the apprentice's den?"

The newly named Owlpaw sat in the clearing. Everything-- everything around her was changing. Her name had changed, which, although she had known all too well it would, she was beginning to wonder if she was really ready. No, her mind was whispering to her. No, she wasn't ready for this. To be an apprentice? To defend and fight for the Clan, to be willing to give her life in battle, to worry over those things? She definitely wasn't ready.
Though this was long overdue-- she was older then the average new apprentice, at almost eight moons of age now. And Storkpaw...he had recieved his warrior name! Excitement went through her at realizing this about her friend, and her tail began to twitch with interest as she looked around for him. Was Storkflight somewhere nearby? She would have to remember that-- Storkflight. Such a nice name for her friend. As far as Owlpaw was concerned, it suited him quite well! She wondered what her warrior name would be. Owlpaw had only been an apprentice for a day, and was already looking to the future. Well, that was part of her personality.
Owlpaw glanced around once more for her friend, wondering what he thought about being a warrior. She was sure he must be at least a little scared. Wasn't everyone scared when they became an apprentice, or warrior? And from there-- deputy, medicine cat or leader? Surely they must be at least a little bit scared, weren't they? And yet Owlpaw never saw it. Because most cats were pretty good at hiding it, but she preferred to keep her emotions open and friendly, which made it harder for her to hide things like fear. So while it might be hard to tell what some cats were thinking or feeling, with Owlpaw? It was generally an open read. Of course, the young apprentice had never really been too worried as far as what others thought about her went. She hadn't needed to be. But now? With much older cats? She was a little worried.

Spiderkit hauled himself up and shrugged his eyes closed as if lost in thought. When he opened them they were glistening with guilt. "Sorry Berrykit." He mewed silently and then he perked his tail staring up at his father. "Ok!" The tom kit squeaked. Spiderkit then balled together some moss from a nest and mewed,"Let's play moss ball now!"

Copperstrike was just beginning to settle down in her nest tired from just padding to the fresh kill pile and back when a pain shot through her belly. She opened her copper eyes with a hiss of pain. She had seen other she-cats give birth but there was always their mate with them. Yewheart wouldn't be here this time. She held back another hiss as a fresh wave of pain wracked her body. Not only moments later a tom lay by her side his calico fur shining sleek in the dim light of the cloudy day.
Then again more waves of pain swirled through Copperstrike's pelt small whimpers coming from the queen's jaws. It felt like moons before yet another kit: this one a orange and white tabby she-kit. Copperstrike's tired eyes were filled with sadness and happiness as she gazed over the two before the last wave of pain struck her and a tan she-kit lay beside her next to the other two. "Yewheart would have loved them." She breathed silently her heart still aching from knowing Yewheart would not be here to see them. She still loved him even if he didn't love her.

Birchleaf sat in the ThunderClan clearing. He gazed around the camp, not knowing who he should talk to. The brown tabby and white tom licked his forepaws and drew them over his ears. Birchleaf's pale green eyes glowed with happiness and worry. Would he ever have a mate? The tom lived a good life in ThunderClan, but that question always bothered him. Birchleaf got to his paws. He scuffled his paws on the ground and then walked back into the Warriors' den, laying in his nest and soon fall asleep.

(Sorry for delay)
The orange-and-white she-kit cried at the top of her tiny lungs, exposing her small, white jaws. Her slicked back fur felt cold, so she was desperate to get near her mother. She scrambled and crawled as far as she could, not stopping her wailing until she finally got close enough to suckle. She pushed her way to her mama's belly, quieting down as she drank. Warmth and security washed over her, allowing herself to calm down a bit. She had no time to take that she was in she was on the outside world, eating was a priority.

Stoneheart yawned, stretching his jaws very wide. He had overslept, making him feel bad. But he couldn't hear a patrol calling his name, so he lay back down, enjoying the peace of being alone. Stoneheart preferred being alone, he hated being around so many cats sometimes. And that was one of the many reasons he didn't have any friends. Or a mate. Though, he didn't find anyone understood him for that matter.

I wonder what the day will bring. He thought to himself, will there be some kits apprenticed today? Maybe would he mentor one? He pushed the thought aside, Gyrestar would never give him an apprentice, nor would he probably have remembered the silver tom.

[how did I not realize until now that Bireo is the only guy? Lol]
The mottled gray and orange kit stayed silent. Sure he was the oldest, but he took a moment to get moving, get started. It was almost as if he was an apprentice already, still wishing for five more minutes of sleep. His chest slowed, almost to a stop. As life prepared to slip away before it had even begun, he coughed, hacked and mucus spilled out his mouth. After gagging for a moment, his breathing quickened again. He began shivering though, the moisture in his pelt that layered its self across his fur making him feel cold. Shivering, and not being able to see resulted in him wandering around, crawling towards the edge of the nest rather than towards his mother, more mucus clogging his nostrils hindering his ability to smell. He kept his mouth partially open, allowing air to get in and out. Soon though he bumped into the edge of the nest and rolled onto his side. His tiny pink padded oaws flaked in the air as he let out a horrendous, high pitched squeal or terror.

Amusement flickered in Briarwish's eyes as she watched him slip. "Oh yeah, like, stalking a conversation between a she-cat and tom is totally called filling a hole now," Briarwish remarked sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Despite having only met the tom a few moments ago, Briarwish was already feeling greatly amused by him. "The name's Briarwish? The more serious question though, is who are you?" Briarwish asked coolly. The brown tabby was a pretty chill cat. She was laid back and calm, not one to panic very often.

Silvercloud's amber hues followed Echospeck as he stood up, blinking every so often. As Echospeck made his first statement, the tabby felt an urge surge up in her. She wanted to ask the warrior if she could come along, but maybe he wanted to go alone. Silvercloud nearly jumped for joy as Echospeck asked if she would go with him. "I'd love to come!" the she-cat remarked excitedly, trying her best not to sound so happy but failing miserably. Silvercloud changed into a conpletely different cat when she was next to Echospeck. He was the excitement in her typical life.

Stoneheart walked out of the Warriors den and into the clearing. He looked around to see if anyone was watching him or looking at him. He was paranoid that way. The silver tom slowly grabbed a mouse from the fresh kill pile and quickly ate it, not wanting anyone to come up to him and start talking. He sat down, and washed himself carefully, keeping an eye on his Clan mates around him.

I wonder what I will have to do today. He thought. I suppose a patrol or two. If the deputy even remembered him. No one seemed to remember Stoneheart and deep down that hurt him, that's why he didn't have any friends. But he had learned to get used to living a lonely life. I wish I could have friends. A little voice said in his head. "Shut up." Stoneheart said, not realizing he had said it out loud.
