goosekit shivered awake, teeth chattering. the medicine den was still dark...what time was it? why is she awake before dawn? it may have been the cold of lear-bare, but goosekit felt unnaturally cold...as if the cold was coming from inside her chest. something felt off. the small kitten attempted to sit up, but the world around her began to spin rapidly. no, no, no...she cant be getting worse again! she's supposed to be apprenticed soon! maybe she just needed warmth...yeah, warmth sounded good. “marshy?” goosekit slurred her nickname for tallmarsh – who was still asleep in the nest directly beside her. “m-marshy?” her shaking intensified as she tried to move closer to tallmarsh. her legs gave out on her with every step, leaving her all stretched out on her belly, paws reaching for tallmarsh. her claw-tips just barely managed to reach and tickle at tallmarsh's whiskers. “marshy-yyy-y…” goosekit whined again. suddenly she balled back up, trying to protect her underweight body from the harsh leaf-bare breezes.

Tallmarsh was curled up in her nest next to the small Goosekit. Her dark tabby pelt rose in time with her slow, deep breaths. She had been taking care of Goosekit for a while now, but it seemed that the poor kit only seemed to get worse, no matter what she did. Being rather new to the medicine cat scene, Tallmarsh had decided that she needed to talk to one of the other medicine cats with more experience. She was in the middle of a nice dream about flying through the sky when her sleep was interrupted by the feeble voice of Goosekit. The medicine cat's green eyes fluttered open at the underweight she-kit's whimpering. With the grip of sleep still firmly on her, she mumbled, "Mm?" Hearing the nickname Goosekit had given her, Tallmarsh finally forced her eyes to completely open and her mind to wake up. "...Goosekit, what's wrong?" she slurred. Seeing that the kit was curled up trembling like a leaf in a storm, the medicine cat pulled her over to the warmth of her moss-lined nest. She curled around the kit and said, "Are you alright? You look like you're freezing." She had to admit, it was on the cold side. In her many moons she'd learned that leaf-bare was a particularly brutal time for the weaker cats, like kits and elders. Normally, Tallmarsh would be outraged that she had been woken up before dawn, but she knew that she had a duty to take care of this kit, and it wasn't her place to get angry for being woken up. If she wanted to become the best medicine cat she could, she'd have to learn how to control her temper.

((Aaaahhhh goose is such a cutie! Her nickname for tall is so cute, i was totally not expecting that T-T I hope they stay in touch even after goose moves to sc ^^))

( awww thank you! goose definitely has a big personality, it's a little toned down here bc of how sick she is, but when she's better she's a hoot. and i'm sure goose would love to keep in touch with tall after the move !! )

goosekit sighed in relief when finally getting tallmarsh’s attention. and she didn't snap this time. she leaned into the medicine cat’s pelt, trying to sink into the warmth. but it only helped a little. she was still shaking dramatically. “l-leaf-b-bare just w-wo-wont stop nip-nippin’ at my whiskers-ss.” goosekit complained, trying to stop her teeth from chattering. it’s just the cold...she’s not sick. no way! goosekit would never let tallmarsh know she was feeling weaker than usual. gotta play it cool. “i-i-im ‘aight…r-r-really.” she pushed further into tallmarsh’s pelt, trying to ignore the worsening symptoms. “i’ll just k-keep m-m-my mind off it.” goosekit looked around the medicine den, trying to distract herself. but her head began to pound as she resisted the feeling, and her yellow-green eyes widened in fear. her throat grew tight and her paws tingled. great. “umm-” worry finally took over the scrawny kitten’s expression, but she avoided marshy's gaze. “can i ha-have some w-w-water?” she tried to hold back some tears, desperate to remain calm about everything.

it's just the cold, it's just the cold, it's just the cold....

{My apologies I have no reason why this is so late and short.}

Creampaw generally didn't mind waiting on her mentor it was something she'd gotten used to in the moons they'd trained together. The cream swirled molly honestly thought it was normal plus it was never that long. If anything she was running early. Looking up at the clouds the female wondered what it'd be like as a warrior. She'd be able to go hunting when ever she wanted and she'd be able to sit in on meeting for warriors. She knew she wasn't ready for an apprentice any time soon she needed more experience. That was obvious though she wasn't even a warrior yet. It would be pretty off if she got an apprentice so soon after becoming a warrior.
Catching another scent and voice the molly looked down just to catch Feathersoeckle asking how excited she was for her ceremony with a nose to her ear. Letting out a slight purr a smile grew over her muzzle. "Super excited!" She explained. "We'll get to go on patrols together as warriors not just mentor and apprentice. Though really both would probably be fun." She added he to see that the older molly seemed excited. Being greeted with future warrior had made her even more excited then she was. It made it all feel so real. Stepping back, her paws crossing over each other as she did, she faced her mentor yellowish eyes glowing. "What do you have planned for today?" Creampaw asked curious. Anything was fine she just wanted to know. Who wouldn't? If everything went right this would be her last training day. Last day as an apprentice. Who wouldn't be excited?

[ No rush at all! ]

Seeing how excited Creampaw was made Featherspeckle almost smile. The corners of her maw almost twitched up, but quickly faded. ''I could remember the first time I had my warrior ceremony.'' She purred lightly. She had been so young and excited, before life kicked her in the rear and made her fend for herself. She remembered everyday life being an adventure when she was with her sister, Specklecloud. They both became warriors at the same time. ''It is something to remember, it is.'' She brushed her apprentice's flank with her tail in a happy manner. As much as Featherspeckle sometimes would absentmindedly forget her own apprentice, training Creampaw had been quite a blast and an experience. Featherspeckle had trained three apprentices prior to Creampaw, and Creampaw might had been her favorite out all three, but she didn't like to choose favorites by much. Maybe it was because Creampaw was so patient and mellow and chilled with dealing with a learning curve and Featherspeckle's challenging emotions at the moment. ''And, you know what's the best part about becoming a warrior? We get to treat you equally as one.'' She gave a genuine smile towards the younger she cat, chuckling softly. For a moment, she tilted her head. Frankly, she didn't have anything planned for the two of them. She knew Creampaw was expecting a lesson, but Featherspeckle was so lost in her thoughts that she haven't sorted out what to do with her day. She just wanted to nap her life away, and maybe the next time she woke up, she'd be in starclan? Sounded pretty hopeful. She shook her head at that thought, brushing it to the side. ''Well,'' She started, briefly staying quiet before her ears perked and she hopped to her paws. ''How about we go over a few pointers, yeah? I want to make sure your fighting skills is up to par. Then, we'll test your hunting?'' She suggested, whiskers twitching.

Disgrace. That’s what she was, a disgrace. Caliaflame had left ThunderClan, and she hadn’t thought to come back until now. She had disappeared, without a word, because it was too much for her. Why was she coming back now? What am I doing? It was a question she’d asked all the way through the territory, even as sticks poked her side and brambles got caught in her fur. Caliaflame hadn’t had time to groom herself, she’d forgotten to eat - only now remembering because her hunger was catching up with her - and she was wondering, once again, what she was doing here. ThunderClan had been her home from the time she was born. It had been her home for moons, and this was how she had repayed her Clan? By running away when it got to be too much for her, by acting like - like she was crazy? As Caliaflame entered the clearing, she felt a sudden pressure… everyone was staring at her. In reality, there was no one looking.

No one saw her at the moment, and Caliaflame crept to a far edge of the clearing. She needed to re-integrate. If she were just another warrior, it would be easier. But she didn’t know what she was doing. She hadn’t had proper battle training, and everyone knew that she had left. It wasn’t just explaining her disappearance to a few friends - it was explaining it to the entire Clan. Caliaflame began picking some of the burrs out of her fur, wincing as pieces were pulled out along with the spiky objects, and praying that she wasn’t in everyone’s eyeline. Failure. She had failed, both the Clan, and herself. They had needed a medicine cat, especially now, and Caliaflame had said… “no.” She hadn’t even told anyone, it had just been one night when she’d been especially tired, and pressured, and she had broken. Something inside of her had just snapped.

What was she doing? Why had she come back here? Her family wasn’t waiting to greet her, they didn’t even know she was back… her friends weren’t, either. Nobody could have known that she was back. Caliaflame wasn’t sure how she was supposed to face them again. She didn’t want to leave the Clan - this was her home, the only home she’d ever known, and a protective area. She had nearly died trying to make it on her own. Finding food, and tending to the minor wounds she’d received (thankfully not from other cats, it was mostly thorns and one very angry crow who had decided that she was a little too close for comfort) had been the easy part. Finding shelter, and holding onto territory… that was hard. That was what Caliaflame had failed at. So not only had she failed at her original job, she had even failed at running away. She wasn’t sure where to go from here. Here she was, back home… and with nothing to do. It was a long road back to normal… that much, she knew.

(soooo sorry for not responding in awhile :c)

Shaking the dust off of his fur as he padded into the clearing. Tempestpaw had just returned from battle training and he hadn't been the best at it. The tom was more worried about the state of the clan than the state of his fighting ability. Though he had to admit, he needed to learn how to fight well in order to protect Thunderclan. He looks young, but he was older than his age, and acted like it. The tensions between the clans were overflowing and he did not want any of that to be pointed at Thunderclan. The other clans had no reason to turn on them, but he knew how fragile relationships were between the clans. They can seem as allied one day and then be at each others' throats the next. It hadn't been that long ago that Riverclan had aided Thunderclan against Windclan, and in return Thunderclan now drove them out of their territory. It annoyed him, really, that the loyalties were shattered like that. He did not care for any clan other than Thunderclan, but he was a viciously loyal tom who dislikes disloyalty, something that his clan seemed to display, much to his annoyance.

The tom glanced around at his clan-mates, trying to pick a spot where he wouldn't have to engage in conversation. It wasn't that he disliked his clan-mates, it was simply that he wasn't going to like them because they happened to be born into the same clan. They had earn their way into his life. Despite this he would still give him life to defend the clan from any threat. As his pale gaze scanned the area, they froze. He blinked a few times just to make sure he wasn't seeing things. The calico pelt looks familiar to him, but he did not wish to get his hopes up just yet. The white tom cautiously made his way towards the molly that seemed to be hiding herself among the shadows, he stayed close towards the edge of the clearing as well, not trying to get much attention, though his white pelt was not meant for stealth.

"Caliaflame?" A soft voice escaped his throat as he get nearer to his target. His gaze looked her up and down. She seemed bigger than when they last saw each other and her pelt was not groomed at all. Yet... her eyes were the same color - though now looking a bit dull from uncertainty - and her pelt were the same markings. But... how? Tempestpaw stared for awhile longer. He had been younger when she left the clan, but he had still known her. In fact, she was one of the rare that was able to break down his walls and became someone that he genuinely cared about. He had been devastated when she disappeared. The young tom had already lost much of his family, so one can imagine the pain he had experienced when a friend left. He had tried not to think of her as dead but he would feel betrayed when he thought of her as alive. Why did she leave? Where did she go? What became of her? All those questions from moons ago rose to his mind once more. But nothing came out. Her pelt was a mess, mattered with burrs and it looks as though some pieces yanked and ripped. The shocked look in his gaze was mixed with the happiness of her return and the betrayal of why she had left in the first place. "W-what are you doing here?" His voice was pure shock and unreadable.

Orchidpaw crept out of the apprentice's den, not wanting to wake anyone in the early morning. The clan was asleep. She knew she didn't have anything to do today, so she watched the milky-pink-orange sky turned slightly blue. A breeze blew across the camp, and Orchidpaw relished it.
"I wish someone else loved the mornings like I do. I'd love some company." She murmured to herself.
Merry Blissmas.

Tallmarsh gave a small sigh. "You've go that right. Leaf-bare just doesn't like you, I suppose," she said in a slightly joking tone. Seeing as Goosekit was still shivering uncontrollably, the medicine cat began to lick the kit to fluff up her fur and help her keep warm. She said firmly in between licks, "You are not all right, you and I both know that. I may be new at this whole medicine cat thing, but I can tell when one of my patients isn't getting better." She paused her licking and looked over at the water soaked moss a few tail-lengths away. She liked to keep wet moss for her patients, just incase they came down with a fever or wanted some. This made it so she could give it to them immediately and not have to get dirty fetching it outside. Unwrapping her body from around Goosekit's she stood up and swiftly got a piece of moss. She tried to minimize how long she was gone from the nest--she didn't want to let Goose get any colder than she already was. The dark tabby set down the wet moss in front of the kit. "There you go." Seeing that the kit was beginning to panic, Tallmarsh looked back at her store of herbs. What could she give this poor kit for her chills? I think lavender is for chills. Or was that fever? She wondered if she should get one of the warriors to fetch Daydream. SkyClan was closer, but he wouldn't be able to get here, and Ringpaw didn't know enough. And Tallmarsh didn't want to risk taking Goosekit out into the cold.

((Should we have this be the first time Tall asks Day for help with Goose and have this be the rp where day takes her to shc? Or we could just have Tall decide to do it in the morning and then have another rp where goose is worse))

( i was thinking this could be a couple days before tall finally gets daydream in the morning. we’ll start a new rp with solstice and goose will officially leave uwu )

goosekit’s fur spiked up as marshy momentarily left. her tail curled awkwardly behind her, as if half of it had already gone numb from the freeze. she nuzzled back into the dark tabby’s pelt the moment she returned.“i-i-m not getting w-worse!” she protested, pulling back her head and furrowing her brows in offense. “y-you think i cant ha-handle a l-lil’ cold?” a sudden fit of held-back coughs forced their way out of her chest, jerking her tiny body. every cough felt like someone stomped on her chest and knocked the wind out of her. when she was done, some tears snuck out the corners of her eyes. she hid her face in shame, sniffing stuffily before finally lapping at the water-soaked moss in front of her. she knew what would happen tomorrow. marshy said she'd send her over to shadowclan for ‘better care’. while goosekit did like and trust daydream, she was afraid. wasn’t moving clans a bit...dramatic? she'd be so far away from everyone she knew and loved. but then again, she rarely got to see any of them anyway. “d-do i r-really have to l-leave? just b-b-because im cold?” goosekit pipped up, voice still hoarse from the coughing. “i d-don't think it's necessary-y.” she was still avoiding marshy’s gaze, hoping she couldn't see the tears. her head rested against tallmarsh's belly, sleepy and heavy with headache.

As Flintspirit continued to study the other dark-furred cat in the group, recognition sparked in his brain. She was Nightpaw’s mentor. I remember that. His daughter had always spoke kindly of her former mentor, and now he could see why. The two seemed a lot alike, both with “snarky” attitudes and a certain dislike for his dorky “advances”, as Nightpaw liked to call them. As Tallmarsh’s wavering smirk turned to glare aimed at him, Flintspirit returned a playful glare, his eyes narrowing and a thinner smirk finding itself on his maw. Though his bright green eyes sparkled with amusement. “Ah, that is better. Much more convincing on the emotion you’re trying to convey.” He snickered, watching as Passionstar nudged the dark tabby with his fluffy orange tail.
At his leader’s words, Flintspirit’s eyes sparkled with a mischievous playfulness, very common for the deputy. “Yes, we don’t need our own medicine cat sick, now do we? And it’s also your job to treat your clanmates with respect and kindness and be caring.” His teasing purr was evident as it rumbled in his throat, his tail-tip flicking in amusement at himself. As Passionstar introduced the medicine cat, he nodded his head. “Oh The Tallmarsh, is it? Well, I actually have been acquainted with you before.” He have a wave of his tail towards the apprentice den, though his green eyes stayed focused on the she-cat in front of him. “You were the previous mentor of my dear daughter, Nightpaw. I remember that much.” He finished his sentence with a smirk, his eyes flicking over to Passionstar before focusing on Tallmarsh once again.

As Passionstar observed the two, he would believe they were like two kits teasing each other. There was nothing wrong with a little teasing every now and again. As long as it wasn’t serious then the leader wouldn’t have to be serious himself. He couldn’t help but side with Flintspirit’s side, mainly to just tease. He didn’t want to feed into Tallmarsh’s attitude, he wasn’t asking for a deathwish after all. A humorous purr escaped the leader’s maw. “Tallmarsh is very respectful, kind, and caring,” He gave Flintspirit a serious expression as he said these words. “She’s just been in the medicine den for too long. You know how those herbs can make someone delusional and have too much attitude.” His expression dropped into a rather playful one with a snicker. It was rather well that they knew each other. He could had saved the introductions then. Passionstar was thinking that the three of them would hopefully be a good team for this era. Thunderclan needed them all, but most of all, they’ll need each other. If they could get comfortable jesting and teasing one another, then that was the first step to a healthy reign.
Just because the leader was teasing Tallmarsh did not mean he forgot about Flintspirit. Passionstar smirked, padding towards the tom, circling one side of him only to stop at his other side, staring over at Tallmarsh. “Don’t get too ahead of yourself. Remember, your life is in her hands one day. So, if she kills you, I don’t know who I’ll replace you with.” Passionstar scoffed. Medicine cats could have cranky attitudes, but he didn’t believe Tallmarsh would actually kill someone in vain.

Yarrowkit sat in the clearing. His ears were perked up as all the noise of the clearing faded around him and all of his attention fell on the a patch of white on the clearing ground. A small patch of snow leftover from a flurry a couple of nights ago still survived but was melting into a puddle. The kit had been mesmerized for several minutes by the way the cold stuff glittered in the sunlight, twinkling like stars. Yarrowkit was prone to do this sort of thing. He was quiet, and watchful, and his mind often traveled in strange directions that he enjoyed following. He was nearly 6 moons now. He would be made an apprentice soon. He was neither excited for it, nor dreaded it. It just was the same way that he was. That seemed to be a different case for the other kits. The rest of them were excited to be warriors someday. His green eyes trailed a bead of water rolling off the shrinking mound.

Inwardly, Oaktail agreed with her comment about seizing the day. It sounded like something he would say. And now, ironically, he was on the other end of that comment, mentally cringing about his own laziness. He noted that he certainly wouldn't judge other cats for taking naps during the day anymore.. But Oaktail didn't voice any of those thoughts, only nodded and half-shrugged in reply. He still wanted the busybody to leave, especially now that she was hitting soft spots, but it looked like he would just have to sit back and endure it. That was the polite thing to do, right?
Oaktail's nose crinkled as she continued on to talk about her hunt. He turned his head, looking at her. Couldn't climb a tree? Perhaps you should practice more? he thought, ever so slightly shaking his head. His attention was pulled back when she spoke of her son. A surprised look came across Oaktail's features for a moment. He hadn't taken her to be that old. Unless her son was still a kit? Oaktail pushed the thoughts away. Why did he care anyway.
Now was the hardest part. Asking him questions. And he would have to answer, right? Or be seen as rude. And this was something he was trying to work on, right? It was still hard. He visible squirmed somewhat, but it looked like he was just shifting his weight. "Oh.. It's been fine, I suppose," he forced out, then quickly added,"Have you heard anything about RiverClan, lately? I'm afraid I don't keep in touch with the news as I should.." He'd say anything to keep her from asking more questions. Of course, he heard most of what had happened. But perhaps she knew some more that he didn't, which was probable.

Saplingpetal tenderly licked at her paw pads, hoping to soften them up a bit as best as she could. To be frank, it felt nice to be sitting down and enjoying a nice bit relaxation near a tree. She had a good sight of everyone in front and she had some company to talk her head off to, given that he let her. Saplingpetal was a social butterfly that absolutely adored talking to everyone about anything and everything. Especially, if one chose to push the right buttons, then they'd get Saplingpetal talking and she won't quit until all of her thoughts spilled out before them both. Aside from that, Saplingpetal liked getting to know her clan mates. She thought they all were incredibly nice and endearingly sweet. Her attention was garnered back by him when she heard him shuffling. She was still remotely grooming herself, giving little licks to her paws only to try and reach up behind her ear to clean up there as well.
She kept a small smile on her face upon hearing his voice, ''Good to hear!'' She purred, softly. Saplingpetal was good at talking ears off but she was never good at reading expressions. Someone could tell her to buzz off, and she'd only laugh, believing they were joking with her. She knew she could be rather good company, and even the loneliest cats needed some good company. ''Ooh, Riverclan?'' Saplingpetal repeated, staring over at the tom cat. As a former queen, Saplingpetal always kept up with the good gossip of the clan, but ever since she became a warrior ten moons ago since her son was born, gossip has been a little hard to come by. She was still friends with the other local queens, but being a warrior meant duties were tended to and she never had that much time to invest in hearing about juicy secrets of the clan. ''Do you mean after that nasty war where Windclan, Shadowclan, and Skyclan decided to drive those poor Riverclan cats out their territory?'' She iterated, shaking her head while looking down at her paws. It was such a tragic thing, really. Saplingpetal didn't know what to think of it. She didn't fight in the battle, but she knew that three clans versus two was quite unfair and uncalled for.
''I don't know much, but I heard from others that Riverclan had to scout for territory elsewhere. Someone's saying that Riverclan is residing in the old Dusk Syndicate territory. Can you believe that? You would think those grounds were haunted from those evil cats that used to prowl the area...'' The she cat snorted. She heard horrible tales of the Dusk Syndicate from the other queens and elders, but she never set passed them before, and frankly she was glad she didn't. ''Kinda sad, don't you think? All those poor cats lost their homes. Think about the mothers and kits? I don't think in this weather that the journey for all those poor kittens is safe for them, you know? I don't just know what was running through Blazingstar, Goldenstar, or Grousestar's minds to do such a wicked thing.'' The she cat kept her voice low as she exchanged conversation with the tom beside her, like it was a secret only for the two of them to hear. ''Other than that, I don't know a darn thing. I just hope all of them are thriving well in their new home, you know?'' She tacked on, but the next second she was rolling onto her back, so that she could look up at the tree branches, paws idly in the air. ''I don't think it's right. You reap what you sow, after all. It doesn't pay to be greedy.'' That's exactly how Saplingpetal find all the other leaders. Just plain ole' greedy.

Darkfur realized that Saplingpetal was deep in thought, and he started to think about the first time he had fallen in love. She had been a beautiful silver she-cat with eyes the colour of fresh moss and shape of almonds. Her name had been Shimmermoss, and she had been his only friend during his first days as a warrior. She had been given her warrior name two days after he. They had done everything together , as often as they could. He had fallen in love with her; yet, he had been afraid to tell her. After they had been warriors for a moon, they had been sent on a mission to the Outskirts together, and the whole quarter moon they travelled together, the dark furred tom had thought about the perfect time to confess his love for her. Yet, everything changed the day they were on their way home... a murder of crows had attacked the two, and Darkfur , with his disability limiting his strength, couldn't protect her as well as he wanted. With his leg screaming in pain from the long walking, then attempting to outrun the birds , then the trying to fight them off... he could only collapse and watch as the crows had tore and slashed at Shimmermoss, who, although she fought her best, could only close her eyes and fall as a crow slashed her neck with its beak. That was when Darkfur had shrieked in horror and the birds flew off. Darkfur had limped over to her, wrapping himself around her, licking her bloody neck and begging for her to awaken as her breath grew more and more shallow. Suddenly , her eyes had opened weakly, and she looked up at him. "Dark... fur... Darkfur's amber eyes had widened, and he had felt tears drip down his chin. "Shimmermoss! No, no , please don't go... I... I love you so, so much... don't die..." this was when Shimmermoss gazed up at him, strong love in her eyes. "Darkfur... I love you, too... more than anybody else... but it's my time... now, listen. I want you to move on. I'll be gone , so you must promise me you'll fall in love again and raise a family with a she-cat who will be the love of your life. I'm sorry..." that was when Darkfur’s tears fell on Shimmermoss's face, and she had weakly wiped them away from his cheeks with her tail. Darkfur had just nodded. "I... I promise. Shimmermoss had then smiled, closed her eyes , and that had been it. Darkfur had wailed with pain and despair and grief, his heart shattering into a million pieces. He knew that although he had promised to, he might never find another cat like Shimmermoss.

Darkfur slowly came from his thoughts, not having realized his vision was blurry with tears. He quickly blinked them away before they fell, however, as Saplingpetal began to speak. His ears twitched in surprise at her words. "Look up... to me? he smiled in amusement. "A delinquent, eh? Sounds like he's got some rogue in him still... I'd like to meet him sometime. I could teach him a lot." he glanced at her at her next words, giving a dismissive flick of an ear. "Nah, it's alright. They're bullies . I wouldn't want to hang out with bullies , anyway." he gave her a smile. "Don't worry. I'll make sure he doesn't turn out that way." he glanced at her as she spoke again , and he nodded in agreement. "Oh , you're right about that. Well, except flying ." he said in an attempt at humour. His eyes widened as she nuzzled him , and his fur heated up a little. "Oh, uh, thanks..." he gave the top of her head a quick lick. He glanced at her with a hint of surprise in his amber gaze as she mentioned her distrust in StarClan , and he chuckled as she apologized. "It's alright , lass. I understand. Everyone has their own beliefs." he gazed at her with kindness and worry in his eyes. "I'm not going to tell you to shut up or anything. I love hearing you speak. You have a wonderful voice, I mean it, Saplingpetal ." he blinked sympathetically as he heard her story about her former mate's betrayal . "I'm so sorry, Saplingpetal. That must've been really tough. I... I actually lost the love of my life to death... it's a long story , but I know how it feels to get your heart broken." he smiled at her next words . "We shall. We have plenty of time to become friends. But, think. Aren't we friends already?" he awaited her answer with a smile.

Saplingpetal was still talking his ears off without even knowing he was lost in thought. She honestly thought he was listening to whatever was spewing out her maw about this and that. The she cat knew a lot of different topics and usually hopped from one to another when she noticed a conversation was getting dull. Others would predict that maybe Saplingpetal just liked listening to her own voice which was why she never learned to shut up, but that couldn't be any farther from the truth. She stopped in mid sentence when the tom iterated her words, and it caused her to tilt her head a bit, and smile brightly at him. She didn't think it was anything wrong with looking up to him. She thought Jaggedpaw would need a tom like Darkfur to look up to. Maybe he could learn a thing or two from a respectful tom like Darkfur. ''I suppose that I haven't been able to let go of that troublesome rogue in me, after all. Sometimes that wild side is useful. But, I swear that I can be elegant and refine like a molly supposed to be.'' She giggled, teasing herself a little bit. Saplingpetal always been just a little bit like the toms since she had to play mother and father figure to her kit, so switching between a male and female role version for her tom kit was exhausting. She purred though, thinking it would be lovely for him to meet Jaggedpaw sometime. ''I apologize in advance if he comes off too arrogant. I don't know where he gets it from, but it's probably from me telling him that he was extremely perfect as a little kit.'' She chuckled, softly. Saplingpetal played a large role in heightening her son's confidence. She didn't think anything wrong of it since he was her only kit, and who knows, he might just be the only kit she ever had in her moons.

She didn't mind the lick upon her head. She had learned from the get-go of joining a clan that all the members were rather affectionate with one another, and it was nice because Saplingpetal loved affection and she loved giving it. Saplingpetal glanced down at her paws, a faint blush would had appeared on her cheeks if cats could blush. She was rather sheepish, but was grateful that Darkfur understood her agnostic belief. ''It's actually really great to hear you not call me a mousebrain for not believing in Starclan. It's not that I'm saying they don't exist, or saying what you believe in is rather foolish - because it's not. I just...I wasn't raised in an environment as this. I never would believe we have to in trust our lives to dead cats, or whatever.'' She shook her head, not entirely knowing where she was going with this. It was probably better to not talk about it because then she felt she would offend him, so she was happy for a change of subject - one that caused her to laugh gently with a shake of head in amusement. ''But, it's not okay!'' She retorted, playfully. ''It's like I'm talking so much, and I never know what I'm trying to process my mind through. It's like I'm trying to say one thing, but then all my thoughts are focused on a million different things and it just tumbles out in an insane way, that I'm pretty sure that I'm confusing you right now, when I'm not trying to, but I just can't keep myself focus on one thing I'm trying to say, you know? Kinda like now...I'm talking too much. But, uh, thanks...I never thought I had a great voice. I thought it was too high pitched? Like too squeaky? Like a mouse or something. I sound annoying.'' She deadpanned with a roll of her shoulders. She wished she knew how to be simplistic when talking to others, but she always had to talk their head around a paragraph to her company. Darkfur said he liked it, and it caused her ears to pin to her head. He's just being nice, she figured. Although, she found the next moment, her whiskers twitching. ''Oh, you lost the love of your life? I'm so sorry to hear that.'' She stated quietly, curling her tail around her. She didn't know how to comfort him, thinking that another nuzzle would probably do the trick, but it wouldn't mend a broken heart. Saplingpetal foolishly wished her former mate was dead, but hearing what Darkfur said, kinda made her grateful that Boundingheart was still alive. Despite him breaking her heart, she wanted Jaggedpaw to experience having a physical father...Boundingheart wasn't a good one though, anyway. She did return his smile when he stated that they were friends. She felt warmth in her heart because she absolutely loved making friends. ''Yeah, friends. I like that very much, Darkfur. But, I have all day if you want to talk about...well, you know. I'm all ears.'' She wiggled her ears at him. For once in her life, probably she would learn to shut up and just listen to him. ''You know, I like your voice too. I mean it.'' She bumped her head into his shoulder in a mirthful manner.

Her tail curled around her paws, Caliaflame kept her head down. There was usually so much hustle and bustle in the clearing, no one paid much attention to the few cats who were alone. Everyone was involved in their own thing. She was almost unrecognizable, anyways… her pelt was a mess, and she was thinner than she had been before. What if this was a mistake? Coming home, she hadn’t been sure how the others would react. Her brother would be happy, of course, she knew that… as would the rest of her family. Her friends? That would depend on how close they were to her. Jaggedpaw will be happy. Everwalker will be happy. Was Jaggedpaw a warrior now? So much time had passed, Caliaflame wasn’t sure. She wasn’t sure how she had survived on her own. It was a miracle that she wasn’t badly injured, even with her knowledge about medicine… her warrior skills left something to be desired. The she cat glanced up upon hearing her name, her golden eyes exhausted, until she recognized the cat who had called her.

Tempestpaw. He had been a good friend of hers… she remembered talking with him before, several times, and he’d acted surprisingly old for his age. ”Tempestpaw.” There was a look of utter relief on her features - she wasn’t ready to face her family yet, but a friend was welcome at this point. They hadn’t been incredibly close (which she was thankful for) but he wasn’t too distant of a friend. ”You’re bigger than when I saw you before,” She smiled a little, trying to think of something else to say. What did you talk about in this situation? Caliaflame was half-tempted to bring up her disappearance, but she knew better than that. Right now, the last thing she should talk about was her choice to leave the Clan. Everyone would be talking about it when they realized she was back, and Caliaflame wasn’t sure how she was supposed to adapt to warrior life. Was she expected to have an apprentice? Expected to learn how to fight again? She’d met a nice loner in her time away, and he’d taught her a few moves - but Caliaflame wasn’t expecting him to show up. It would be highly doubtful, anyways. Her look of relief quickly disappeared at Tempestpaw’s next words.

This was what she had been afraid of. His tone was shocked, expression unreadable - she couldn’t tell what else he was feeling. The she cat stiffened, her ears going back once more. She was suddenly uncomfortable in her ungroomed, messy pelt and her sickly frame. ”ThunderClan is my home.” Her voice was harder than before, although Caliaflame wasn’t sure if she believed the words. It had been her home. Now, she wasn’t so sure it should be. Did she deserve to come back here? Did she deserve to be forgiven for leaving, to come back to Clan life as though nothing had happened? She wished Snowstar was still the leader. Caliaflame had developed a stronger bond with the old leader, and it was going to be even harder settling in with unfamiliar authority figures. She didn’t know if Powdernose was still the deputy, or if Passionstar was still the leader… she didn’t know who the new medicine cat was. ”I belong here just as much as everyone else.” You’re a liar.

@RedHead

StarClan, if you're up there, give me strength. Tallmarsh's sharp glare went flat. She was going to start seriously reconsidering accepting this medicine cat position if this was going to be what she would have to deal with for the rest of her life. Passionstar was bad enough already with his teasing and vague comments. But with Flintspirit...they were an unstoppable duo of goofiness and sarcastic remarks. Tall knew there was nothing she could do but give in, but did she have to? She could spend her days as a medicine cat taking every tease seriously and snapping at anyone who tried to joke with her, but honestly, that was boring. She flicked her long tail at Passionstar's teasing comment, accompanied with a small eye role. Narrowing her eyes, she remarked with a playful tone, "Yeah, be careful, Flinty. You never know what I might accidentally slip into your traveling herbs."

At the mention of Nightpaw, Tallmarsh gave a small, fond smile. The apprentice was one of the few cats that Tall actually enjoyed talking to within the Clan. She stayed in touch with her former apprentice; this was one of the few ways she stayed connected to her old life as a warrior. "Yeah," she half-purred, "Nightpaw is great. We still talk, y'know." There were very few cats who could calm her quick temper, and Nightpaw happened to be one of them. Tall was surprised by how differently she remembered Flintspirit. She now recalled meeting him--or at least seeing him--when she was first assigned as Nightpaw's mentor. Now, he seemed more outgoing and...dorky. The medicine cat supposed that back then, she was also much more hot-headed, if that was even possible. Since becoming medicine cat, she had learned how to keep her cool and regain it much more quickly when she inevitably lost it. Her green eyes swept from Flintspirit to Passionstar, as a random thought passed through her mind: Why are they both so fluffy?

@Solstice!

Tallmarsh was currently pacing back and forth in the den, unable to relax. Her long, striped tail swished behind her as her anticipation grew with each passing second. It seemed like ages since she'd sent that warrior to fetch Daydream. ShadowClan isn't that far away, is it? She had tried to keep Goosekit as comfortable as possible--damp moss close enough for her to easily reach, her nest lined with fluffy moss, and any herbs she knew would help. It seemed that despite her best efforts, nothing Tall did was helping the poor kit. The ThunderClan medicine cat was frustrated, worried, and ashamed that she couldn't do more. Her eyes swept rhythmically from the entrance of the den to Goosekit, and back again. Where are they??

The muscular, blue tom sauntered to the clearing entrance. It midmorning and the freshkill pile was looking meager. He had been assigned to do a hunting patrol with one other cat. Curling his tail over his feet, Morningblue closed his green eyes and waited for the other cat assigned to hunt with him to arrive.

Silvermoon stepped into the warriors den, happy to see the warm sleeping bodies of her denmates. She curled up by her mate and poured. Silvermoon briskly licked her mate on the ear and tucked her nose under her paws. "In the morning," she thought. "I will tell him I am expecting his kits."

Birchkit looked around the clearing in awe, amazed at how big some of the warriors were. However, his awe did not keep him warm,so he was still shivering, even though he tried to hide it so none of the warriors would send him back into the nursery. The kit was still near the entrance to the nursery in case he had to run back to his mother, but he was hoping nothing would cause him to do that. The light brown, tabby kit prayed to Starclan though that a warrior would not approach him. Or an apprentice. Or anyone really. If he said something wrong, he could make Fawnkit, his sister, feel embarrassed and it would be his fault. He could ruin his mothers reputation of a warrior if he goofed off. He was determined not to let that happen.

"Hello!" Simplefeather greeted the kit, approaching him uncertainly. She flickered her tail and accidentally it slightly touched the kit's fur. Simplefeather remembered the kit's name- it was Birchkit, right? Anyways, the kit's fur was rather cold. "You're... going to freeze to StarClan out here. You do know that right?" she said, a bit jokingly but a bit serious. The tabby kit was dangerously cold and she knew that the weather was unforgiving; if Birchkit didn't go into the nursery, he would freeze. Especially if he was standing alone without the body heat of other kits. Simplefeather tilted her head interrogatively at Birchkit, wondering why he was practically torturing himself. The nursery wasn't too far away, a few tail-lengths at most. Birchkit wasn't too lazy of a kit, so why wasn't he going back into the nursery? Simplefeather shook her head. No. Where is his mother?! Why's she not taking him back inside?! Simplefeather thought to herself.

When the warrior's tail touch the kit, he nearly panicked, his fur standing up and his green eyes widening in surprise. ¨I-I wanted to look at the camp.¨ Birchkit stuttered. The last thing he wanted was for his mother to be blamed for it. He had seen other kits outside earlier, so he thought it would be fine for him to come out. He now realized though he should have asked. ¨I'm sorry. I-I should have asked if I could come out.¨ He went on to tell the warrior. He looked back into the nursery, wondering how much trouble he would be in. How had he been stupid enough to think he did not need permission to come out? Birchkit looked at the ground in shame, still shivering. Even if he had asked permission and been aloud out, he had promised himself to go back into the nursery after a few minutes. He had lost track of time though, and each time he thought about going in, he had thought ´Just a few more minutes.´, but now he realized how much colder he was than when he had first came out. ¨I'll g-go back in now.¨ Birchkit told Simplefeather between his own stuttering and his teeth chattering.

"You shouldn't be apologizing to me," she replied, a bit of amusement shining in her words. The female didn't want to be too harsh on this innocent kit, knowing that nothing well would come out of that. "Yeah, I think that would be the best course of action. You'll become a frozen cat if you stay out here for much longer. Maybe on a warmer day I can show you around the camp," she offered, smiling at Birchkit in a friendly modus operandi. She patted the terra firma underneath her paws, feeling a few crunches of icy snow underneath her paw pads. "If its boring in there, I can come in with you and we can have a little chat, if you'd like. I know some kits don't like being around us warriors. That's fine too." Simplefeather tilted her head once more at Birchkit, this time in a more congenial manner. "For the record, I wouldn't of said anything if it was warmer out, but it's not... so.." she said, amusement shining in her eyes rather vividly. Simplefeather flickered her tail this way and that, starting to feel a tad bit chilly herself in the crisp air. Her short fur didn't help in the slightest and allowed her to feel the worst of it as a strong gust of cold wind hit her, making her blood a little colder and a little more bitter. She sat down, tail over paws, trying to conserve her body heat. The air become the smallest bit warmer and she got up, shaking her head, glancing at Birchkit. "Well? We haven't got all day.." If this even classifies as day. I haven't felt this cold since 10 moons ago~!

Birchkit hesitated. He did not even talk to cats his age very much, but this warrior seemed nice enough. After a few seconds, Birchkit made up his mind. "If your n-not to busy, you c-can come in." Birchkit said. He was clearly glad to have someone to talk to besides his mother and sister, and he went into the nursery, waiting inside for the warrior to follow. After a few heartbeats though, he pickedhis head back out. "Are warriors alloud in the nursery?" he asked the Molly. Birchkit had only seen Queens and their kits inside, and a visiting father every now and then, but never a warrior. He had never thought about it much until now, but he wondered if it was because there was a rule to prevent warriors that did not have kits from coming in. He knew he would already be in trouble for being outside, and he did not want to be helping a warrior break the rules.

(ack I'm sorry I didn't know you had a rp with simple in the clearing already >-<)

Drizzlelight hummed once more as she trotted into the clearing with the more than a pawful of dandelions in her mouth, the reason why was so she could give some to her family and friends if they wanted one. You know as a nice gift. Although she did get asked if she was helping the med cat in anyway since naturally you don't see felines holding such a thing but she just said no and went on with her life. She was starting to get tired of the flowers taste since it was kinda bitter and she thought was a tiny bit sour? She had no clue but she mainly settled on bitter, though the petals of the flower were awful pretty to her. She was surprised that such a thing was so abundant and yet...barely recognized for its beauty and often ruined and killed by many of her fellow clanmates's paws, she felt pity for them, so in turn even though she may have hurt the poor things she gave them a new purpose! To be handed as a gift.

The cream tabby swished her tail as she swiftly made it into the middle of the clearing and scanned the area with a dreamy and glazed over look in her blue orbs, though she swore she could hear other felines that she knew nothing about whisper behind their backs that horrible nickname that they gave her...she disliked it ....but welcomed it if it were said affectionately. Drizzlelight almost seemingly to like she was hovering above the ground had swiftly and delicately made her way to a nice sunny spot in the clearing where there was a few groups of three warriors here and there but she managed to find a good roomy enough space for her to sit and so she did. The Molly purred as she settled the pawful down beside her paws and watched the other cats mingle with each other with a smile.

Simplefeather padded towards Drizzylight, recognizing the warrior and smiling to herself. "Hey Drizzy!" she exclaimed, flickering her tail affectionately. Reaching her companion, she settled down on the sunny area beside her. "How's it been going?" Simplefeather inquired, a thoughtful expression visible on her facial features. She saw about a pawful of flowers next to Drizzlelight, though decided not to question it, since the dandelions looked rather beautiful and didn't bother her in the slightest. She waited for a reply from her friend, feeling the enjoyable rays of sunlight bask her back in warmth. She saw a small bunch of warriors some tail-lengths away, glaring at them aggressively as a warning for them to stay away from Drizzlelight and not to comment about everything they saw or heard. Simplefeather looked back at Drizzy, giving her best friend a bright smile. Simplefeather found interest in the female's blue eyes, noticing them looking a bit dreamy. The warrior then glanced over at the pawful of frizzy golden dandelions, looking at their purposeful, delicate petals. Sure, whenever she was walking she usually wouldn't care if they were beneath her paws and typically she stomped over them, but when they were so precisely picked, they were rather prepossessing and captured Simplefeather's gaze charmingly.

Yeah, it's not against the warrior code, from what I remember.. and I remember all sixteen rules. Always have, always will. Simplefeather shook herself, remembering that thinking interfered with doing, and so she walked into the nursery, mustering up all of the confidence she could at the moment. "C'mon," she said, tapping the top of Birchkit's fluffy head with her own fluffy tail. The air inside was much warmer compared to the howling winds of the outside, and her body temperature slowly grew more normal. She poked her head outside, looking at Birchkit expectantly and waiting for him to follow her inside. She remembered what he'd said, and as she though about it, the more she became uncertain. Was there a new rule? Surely she would've known about it if they had made one. Thinking interferes with doing, so from this moment on, I'm not going to allow myself to think, she thought, letting her mind go blank and poking her head back into the warmth of the nursery. In the few moments she'd peered out, her head had grown unhealthily cold, and Simplefeather hadn't noticed; maybe because she hadn't been thinking.

Her ears twitched as she caught a familiar voice which made her eyes widen as her smile grew wider, with a purr she gave her attention to her friend and flicked her tail in greeting " as how life should be,a salutations to you too dear" she mewed in a happy tone, though her ears perked up as her eyes shined " I almost forgotten ! " with that she bent down to gently pick up a dandelion and showed it to simplefeather " want one? Though fair warning, they're awful bitter but pretty to look at. I can't believe that many just..forget or blindily destroy them....poor things" she meowed through the stem as her tone was filled with sympathy near the end as her orbs mirrored it.

Drizzlelight flicked her tail once more before scanning the area yet again, her eyes dimmed as she spotted another warrior stepping on a few dandelions which made her even more saddened "I feel we should protect as many as we can....... " she said meaning the abundant yellow flowers. It may not work but she was hoping that this would atleast be put it into consideration .

Passionstar hopped onto the high rock, overlooking the other cats as he sharply called for another clan meeting. Everything's been so hectic lately that he almost forgot that there were important matters in the clan. He's been here and there, so he was happy that he could show respect to the newly made warriors and apprentices of the clan. ''Today, we have two new apprentices that worked hard to earn their new rank in the clan. Blizzardkit and Marigoldkit, please step forward.'' Passionstar called, flicking his tail as he offered the small felines a bright smile. ''You have reached your sixth moon, and therefore will be trained as apprentices. For now on until you have received your warrior names, you will be known as Blizzardpaw and Marigoldpaw.'' The tom spoke with a dip of his head. He touched each newly made apprentice on their ear with his nose. ''Blizzardpaw, your mentor will be Swallowfeather. Marigoldpaw, your mentor will be Vitalitysurge.''

Now that the apprentice ceremonies were finished, Passionstar turned to do the warrior ceremonies. He was always pretty excited when he welcomed new warriors. They worked hard as apprentices and deserved the recognition of doing so. ''The clan has been blessed with some new warriors. Cilantropaw, Creampaw, and Doepaw, please step forward.'' His voice called, a smile tugging on the corner of his maw. ''By the power of starclan, invested through me, I bring forth new warriors to serve thunderclan. You all will uphold the warrior code even if it costs your life, do you understand?''

''I do.''

Passionstar nodded, ''Cilantropaw, you will now be known as Cilantroleaf. The clan honors your loyalty and devotion. Creampaw, you will now be known as Creamswirl. The clan honors your kindness and generosity. Doepaw, you will now be known as Doeflame. The clan honors your loyalty and tolerance.'' The leader bestowed their new names, in the end, he touched their ears with his nose to show them his appreciation. He allowed their clan mates to chant the new names of the new apprentices and warriors before he called the dismissal of the meeting.

(Sure.)
Birchkit glanced around as if he expected a warrior to stop them, but the warmth of the nursery seemed so inviting, but Birchkit still hesitated for a second. While thinking though, he sneezed, and that was enough to convince him to follow the warrior. The last thing he wanted to do was become a burden by catching green cough and making everyone have to take care of him, so the kit followed the warrior in. While walking in, he realized they still did not know each others names. Did they? He couldn't remember if they did or not. If the warrior had told him her name, he had already forgotten. Birchkit decided not to ask though until they had both warmed up.

Simplefeather watched Birchkit walk in, allowing herself to sit down in the farthest corner of the nursery as to not be a bother to the queens and kits settling in the nursery. The female hadn't been to this place often enough, but it was rather comfortable and warm. The warrior enjoyed outdoors much more, but this would do for the moment. "So, your name is Birchkit, right? Or did I get that wrong?" she inquired, tilting her head interrogatively at the kit. Her ear twitched subconsciously as she waited to hear a reply. It'd be kind of embarrassing if I got his name wrong, but eh. Since when has that ever stopped me? Simplefeather thought to herself, glancing over at the kit for a split second to make sure he was still there. The warrior then continued to stare intently at the ground, deep in her own thoughts, not paying attention to the outside world until she heard a reply.

Fawnkit looked back at her mother with green-blue eyes the light filtering into the den glinted on her eyes. The tiny kit was really precious to her and hopefully always would be. Yawning Flamingrose rested her head back on her paws and just observed her kit, a purr shivering through her body.

Birchkit sat near the warrior who's name he had either forgotten or not been told. Birchkit nodded, relaxing as she got his name right. This meant he did not have to go through the awkwardness of introducing himself. ¨I'm sorry if you h-have already t-told me, but, whats y-your name?¨ He asked, hoping the warrior had just not told him. His uncertainty though and fear of embarrassing himself because of it made him stutter, and he scolded himself for it,looking at the ground in embarrassment. ´Quit stuttering so much. It will only make me look like an idiot.´ he thought to himself. He felt like such a mousebrain.

Birchkit yawned as the dawn light came into the den.He was huddled against his mother for warmth, and he was still half asleep. At first he thought about going back to seep, but he heard his sister beginning to wake up, and he could tell his mother was already awake because of her breathing. The light tan kit opened his green eyes, trying to blink sleep away. Flamingrose's soft reddish fur tempted him to simply lay back down and fall asleep again, but he knew he would have to get up eventually, so he stayed up, watching his mother and sister curiously.

The Cream tabby walked back to her place, just about managing not to explode from happiness. After that, She chanted the names of the newly named warriors, "DoeFlame! CreamSwirl! CilantroLeaf!"

Instantly, Blizzardpaw was excited. Her mother had told her about the bouncy young warrior, and every warrior in the camp. She stood up and touched her mentor's nose with as much dignity as she could, and then literally bounced over to the apprentices.

Rowanbranch woke up to another cat moving. He sat up in his nest and looked at Flamestorm. "Don't you know that some cats are trying to sleep." he meowed. The tom began to laugh. "Oh well it was time to get up anyway.", Rowanbranch joked.

The big blue tom glanced around the clearing. Could it be that no one else had been assigned to this patrol. He exhaled sharply. He would be surprised if that was the case. With this war on, and the deputy demoted, Thunderclan's leadership appeared to be hanging on by a thread. Not for the first time, he bitterly thought that if it were up to him the clan would be in better shape than this. "Enough of this," he muttered, scowling over the cats in the clearing. Finally he made eye contact with one. "You there! Come and hunt with me," he ordered. 1

Simplefeather noticed his stuttering awkwardly but chose not to comment or question about it, knowing it was probably a personal issue or topic. "My name is Simplefeather. Have you never seen me around?" she inquired, tilting her head. She was quite friendly and usually seen around the camp, but she decided that if Birchkit had never introduced himself to her, she wouldn't hold that against him. He was, after all, simply a kit. He couldn't teach himself the names of every cat in the clan in such few moons, especially with how large their population was getting. At least, in Simplefeather's opinion, the Clan was getting a bit crowded. The warrior didn't know how to continue conversation, going to her classic. "So, how's life? What's it like in the nursery nowadays?"

Birchkit did recall seeing glimpses of Siplefeather around the camp, but sense he had only been out of the nursery a few times, he had never heard her name. He still felt like he should have known it though. Birchkit was glad for her change in topic, not sure how he could have answered her previous question. He tried to summon up his confidence so he would quit stuttering and answered Simplefeather's new question. ¨I-It's been pretty normal. All I mostly do is play with my siblings.¨ Birchkit answered, glad he had not stuttered the whole time this time. He figured he should keep the conversation going, so he asked similar question. ¨What's warrior life like?¨ The kit asked Simplefeather, trying to get to know more about warriors while also learning about how Simplefeather was doing, and keeping the conversation simple.

Simplefeather nodded gratefully, taking the dandelion in her mouth. She set it besides her protectively, making sure she could keep an eye on it while talking to Drizzlelight- or Drizzy, as Simplefeather liked to call her. In the few moments the dandelions were in the warrior's mouth, the female tasted the bitterness Drizzlelight had been talking about. It was merged in with several other indistinguishable flavors, though the strongest was the bitterness. Even after Simplefeather set the flowers down, the taste lingered on her tongue, though the female couldn't really do anything to get rid of it. Choosing to ignore it, she decided to continue the conversation.
"Thanks, Drizzy!" she thanked her, smiling happily at her companion. "Yeah.... maybe, if we ever learn useful skills like how to grow dandelions, we could grow a small patch of them here and there..." Though I doubt that'll happen, she thought, finishing the darker part of her sentence in her mind. The warrior had decided that it was better if she didn't share the less optimistic section of her sentence, since that wouldn't do neither of them well. "Anyways, have you been doing well these past few days? Do I need to growl at any bullies?" she inquired, tilting her head at Drizzlelight in a friendly modus operandi. The tone of her voice proved that she was being serious and that she would get up from her sitting position and go insult somecat if they had bullied Drizzlelight recently, even though Simplefeather knew Drizzlelight most likely wouldn't appreciate that. Yes, well, I don't appreciate people insulting my friend, she thought to herself angrily, waiting for Drizzy's response.

The female's whiskers twitched in amusement, though she didn't say anything about what was so entertaining for her. "It's way more boring than it seems. You're inclined to go on border patrols and mark the scent-borders, and then you also have to hunt for the Clan, but it's pretty okay. Very.. simple. I like it." she replied, trying not to complicate her answer too much. The female had never liked complicated things, and being a warrior wasn't very complicated, which Simplefeather appreciated. She wondered if Birchkit would like that aspect of warrior life, though she knew not every cat was like her. "Siblings? What's it like having siblings? I don't have any littermates," she responded, a slightly despondent tone audible in her voice as she spoke the inquiry. The female had always wanted a brother, even if they were adoptive, though she knew she was naïve for thinking it was easy to get an adoptive sibling. However, growing up, she'd always been rather lonely because of her lack of littermates. The female was jealous and full of envy for those with siblings, and had always wanted to know about how life was like when you had littermates. Simplefeather stared at Birchkit promptly.

Although her eyes shined as simplefeather agreed or sounded like she did "that sounds like a splendid idea! Atleast someone agrees with me. " she mewed with a happy swish of her tail, even though it seemed impossible to do she will try and take it upon herself to learn such a skill. The cream tabby looked back out into the clearing once more and spotted a few apprentices rough housing with each other and it seemingly got a little out of hand since they're mother or a mother looking feline had to break them up,this lead her to think about her own family mainly her siblings. She remembered when she , honeystream and sunclaw were little kits and were chasing a ball of moss in the nursery, sunclaw was the rough houser of the group he would always tackle her and honeystream to make them stop what ever they were doing so he could chase after the ball and in words get a head start. Honeystream was more of the tactical one and will use her sweetness to blind and get her opponent off guard before going in for the 'kill'. And herself , she did what ever came to her first, sometimes she'd use her wit but she was more of a action first think later when she was a kit.but that changed.

She was so lost in the memory that she almost didn't hear simplefeather but she managed to caught the mumble of her voice making her perk her ears up and gasp a bit before returning her attention to her friend "huh? Oh I've been fine! No need for that ...besides two wrongs don't make a right . Hmm....Although those stubborn little dream fairies have been bombarding me with nonsense dreams..and some I swear are because of the evil fairies. I mean only a bad dream would be the cause of such . but I've never had a bad dream since kithood! It's a total outrage I'm telling you! Birchkit had never had it put like that when he asked what it was like to be a warrior. He liked Simplefether's explanation much better than what other cats had given him though. The kit had to think about what to say, never having been asked what it was like having siblings before. He liked Silent'kit and Fawnkit, even if they sometimes fought. It was hard to put that into words though. After a minute of deep thought, he tried to put his feelings into words.¨It's kinda like having close friends, but you see them more. Sometimes you argue more to, but sense you have to live with them, you usually get over it pretty fast.¨ Birchkit explained, hoping his answer sounded okay. Going over it in his head, he felt like he still did not do a good job of explaining it, but he still couldn't think of something else to say.

Fawnkit tilted her head at her sister thats an odd reaction, oh well she thought "I guess your not up for a game of moss ball either," Fawnkit sighed. She shook her brother, "Hey, sleepy-head, wake up." she shook him even harder, "do you want to play a game with me," she asked him enthusiastically. Static Fuzzyfeline

Silent'Kit glanced at her siblings and almost look dumbfounded that her ' foolproof ' plan didn't work. 'Time for plan B!'. She thought mischievously, she lept at Fawn'kit, but luckily didn't knock Birch'kit in the process, and playfully pinned her sister. "Gotcha!". She mewed triumphantly.

Birchkit began to stand up, unable to pretend anymore with his sister shaking him. Just as he was about fully up though, Silentkit barreled into Fawnkit. He yelped, ducking down and trying to stay out of the way. He was about to plead for them to stop, but he realized that Silentkit was simply playing. That did not mean he was a huge fan of fighting, even if it was just play fighting.

Peachy

Here she was. Again. Tallmarsh had been cooping herself up in the medicine den all week trying to memorize the many, many herbs and their uses, and so far she had gotten nowhere. The dark tabby was currently sitting in front of her store of herbs with a variety of flowers, leaves, and seeds sitting in neat piles in front of her. Putting a paw on a pile of yellow flowers, she muttered, "This is tansy--no, marigold. And it's used for pain--no infection--no wait...Ugh!" With a frustrated scream through clenched teeth, the medicine cat swiped the piles of herbs with her paw, sending them flying across the den. Realizing what she just did, the medicine cat stood up and began gathering the plants back into neat little piles, grumbling all the way. Once she had finished, she decided that she'd had enough for today and stormed out of the medicine den in search of a friendly face. She needed to cool down, and she knew just the cat to go to. Her green eyes scanned the clearing for the familiar black pelt of her former apprentice, Nightpaw. She was one of the few cats that Tallmarsh enjoyed hanging around still--probably because they were so alike. "Nightpaw?" she called out.

((I suppose you can reply in the clearing?))

nightpaw had just emerged from the apprentices den, eyes bagged and back stiff. ugh. mornings. she used to like mornings, but that was back when she actually liked her mentor. well, her new mentor was...okay. they just aren't as great as tallmarsh was. she always made training feel like fun, like a challenge, or like an adventure. now training felt like work. boring and stressful work. it was lame. and mornings were lame. nightpaw let out a long yawn and stopped to stretch in the clearing. mid-stretch, a familiar voice called out to her. “tallmarsh?” she spotted her old mentor padding her way. a genuine smile replaced her tired expression. “ah, how’s my favorite medicine cat doing today?” her ears narrowed playfully at the dark tabby and chuckled. “it’s good to see you! been awhile since we’ve tal-” the large apprentice stopped her words when realizing the look of distress on tallmarsh’s face. “is everything okay?”

The small brown kit stared off into space, daydreaming. Dreamkit was always getting scolded for that, she didn’t mean to drift off, she just did. She closed her eyes dreaming. She ran through a meadow full of flowers and butterflies, it was greenleaf. She bounded through the meadow picking flowers and chasing butterflies happily.

Tallmarsh's expression lightened a bit at the sight of her former apprentice. She padded over, long tail swaying behind her. "Everything's...stressful. Being medicine cat is a very difficult job, especially when you suck at memorization," she said with a small purr. It seemed that whenever she was around Nightpaw, Tallmarsh's mood was exceptionally better. "I just need to get out of the medicine den and away from those stupid herbs. I was thinking we could go on a hunting trip, just like the old days?" she suggested. What the medicine cat needed was some fresh air and time outside. She dearly missed exploring the territory, running through the undergrowth and climbing trees in pursuit of prey. What she really wanted right now was a chance to forget about her medicine cat duties and be a warrior for a few moments.

Stupid wounds. Stupid battle. Stupid mangy mouse-brained cat who doesn't know how to clean his own claws... Cherrybubble was not in a good mood. During the most recent battle, she had received multiple additions to her already large collection of scars. And they weren’t small and simple. No, they were quite large, with a few that could be serious. But of course Cherrybubble slunk away when everyone else was getting treated by the medicine cat. She was strong, and independent, she could handle herself. But, curse her horrible luck, one of the acts she had battled, a large burly tom, did not have clean claws when he gouged them into her fur. So instead of having simple, quickly healing wounds like usual, two of her larger ones had grown infected. This had simply been a bother of her, as she could not perform her regular warrior duties efficiently. And cats had started to take notice. The infections had grown worse, and a certain cat had decided to take matters into her own paws.
So now here Cherrybubble was, having been forced into the medicine den by Passionstar’s mother, Springingsky. Ever since her and Passion had become best friends, Springingsky had been like a second mom to her. And Cherrybubble adored the older feline, who was just as frisky and hard-headed as she was. But, also like her, she was ridiculously stubborn. She had achieved a motherly stubbornness level that Cherrybubble had quickly learned couldn’t be overcome.
So, with messy white and black fur, yet green eyes still shining with her ever burning fire, Cherrybubble made her way into the medicine’s den. She sat down with a wince, the larger laceration on her back glaring up in pain as she did so. Her eyes scanned the dim den, looking for any sign of Tallmarsh, the Thunderclan medicine cat. She would like to be out of here as soon as possible. The space was making her claustrophobia act up, and she wasn’t too particular fond of the smell either.

((lol perfect, tall is salty too))

Why couldn't they have just not fought? Sure, it was fun being able to fight again, but now it seemed like Tallmarsh's den was never empty. There were always cats in her den wanting to be healed as if she could just tap there wounds with her magic healing stick and have all their injuries disappear. Currently the medicine cat was pouting in her nest at the very back of the den. Normally she would be sorting herbs or trying to memorize their names and uses since there was no one in need of healing, but Tallmarsh was tired of that. And she was not going to go outside and risk forced conversation and a messy pelt. She was fine sitting in her nest, pretending to sleep and wondering why she'd even agreed to this position in the first place. There was rustling at the entrance, and with it the scents of an unfamiliar cat, open wounds, and infection. Great. For now, the medicine cat was pretty much concealed from view with her dark pelt blending into the shadows, but she couldn't stay hidden forever. It was her duty to help her Clanmates, after all. Not bothering to open her eyes or move from her position, she grumbled, "So, what's wrong with you?"

The patched feline perked her ears as she herad a voice from deeper within the den, her tail-tip flicking slightly. She had certainly been surprised, she hadn’t smelled a cat in here at all. But then again, anyone who lives in this stench is likely to smell exactly like it. Cherrybubble narrowed her eyes in the dim, trying to get her eyes to adjust faster. She was able to pick out a shape among the darkness, turned away from her. But the voice had been clear.
Letting out a small huff, she kept her tone serious as she answered. “I’m not invincible, that’s what.” She meowed, her eyes widening seriously. She shuffled her paws on the ground for a better position, tilting her head to one side a little. “Got any stinky herbs that can help with that?” A small smile had made its way to her maw now, her green eyes glinting with a mixture of amusement and genuine curiosity.

Tallmarsh sat up and opened her eyes. She glared at the wall for a moment, tail tip twitching with annoyance. "Mm. You're stinking up my den with your infections, so I'll see what I can do," she answered. She finally looked over her shoulder at the black and white she-cat. With an exaggerated sigh, the medicine cat stood up and plodded over. When she had reached the wall where she stored her herbs, she motioned with her tail for Cherrybubble to come over. "I'm going to put marigold and horsetail on that infection, which should clear it up. And I'll put dandelion on it to help with the pain. I can also give you stinging nettle for swelling." As she rattled these off, she pulled a few leaves from each pile. Frowning at the wall of herbs, she pulled out two more, muttering, "I'll use cobwebs...no, catchweed to keep the paste on and cobnuts to thicken it... Oh, and I could also give her that other one... golden-something, but that's for preventing infections..."

The black-and-white furred feline flattened her ears in mock hurt. Her eyes widened, and she it on a whole “taken aback” look. “Stinky? I beg to differ! Her tail flicked with ignorance. She was a little annoyed, of course, but not enough to be truly aggravated. As Tallmarsh started to rattle off herbs and such, Cherrybubble let her eyes wander across the den again, somewhat tuning the other molly out. When she was referred to in the third person, she immediately snapped her head to Tallmarsh, a playful smirk coming across her features. “Excuse me, but I’m still here Stripey.” She tilted her head to the side a little, a sheepish smile crossing her features.

The grey kit stood miserably in the clearing. She was a bit depressed, but she didn’t want to be depressed. She hated her name with a burning passion, but she dared not ask her mother or Passionstar to change her name. Witheredkit grimaced watching other kits playing.

Randompaw strolled through the clearing. He noticed a depressed looking kit, Whitheredkit. It was easy to see at least one of the reasons she was sad. What kind of name is Whitheredkit, anyway? It’s as weird as my name, but my mom was weird anyway. He walked up to her and nudged her with his large paw. “Hey there, little one! Want to play?”

Ignoring the she-cat's first comment, Tallmarsh continued to sort the herbs she'd pulled out into neat little piles. She wondered how this cat could be so playful in light of the recent events. At Cherrybubble's second comment, the medicine cat turned to the black and white cat with a sharp look in her green eyes. "My name is Tallmarsh. I suggest you use it," she cautioned with an annoyed flick of her ear. She was too tired to go along with jokes, and she absolutely hated nicknames--unless it was Goosekit calling her Marshy, of course. Moving her eyes down to Cherrybubble's wounds, she stood up again and continued, "Now, let me look at the damage."

Birchkit ran for the ball, mostly because he thought the other two was to. Birchkit ran out of the nursery, spotting Silentkit and Fawnkit and following them, trying to run as fast as he could to get to the mossball. He had to stop for a second, stopping a near collision that could have happened between him and Fawnkit. Even though he was not that strong, he was pretty agile for a kit. He started chasing after Silentkit again, hoping to get close enough to tackle her or run in front of her for Fawnkit to tackle her which would be better sense he rarely actually could tackle anyone. He was better at running than attacking sense he was not as strong as most kits his age. He would probably end up just falling in his attempts to knock Silentkit over.

Silent'Kit glanced at them as she ran, she knew Birch'kit was quite fast while Fawn'Kit was quite strong, out of the three of them Silent'Kit was the most Agile, She skidded to a halt waiting for them to catch up at the last moment as they were about to pounce she dodged them swiftly and made a run for it but in the process tripped on a rock falling face first into the ground, when that happened she sat up rubbing her nose which was hurting from the impact. "..ow....". she mumbled dropping the moss ball at her feet.

Birchkit did not try to grab the mossball, more worried about if Silentkit was ok than the game. "Are you ok Silentkit?" he asked, concern clearly in his voice even though it was probably a minor injury if anything. He often did worry about small things more than he should though, so it was not uncommon for him to worry to get to stressed out or worry about minor injuries or small problems.

At the medicine cat’s sharp look directed her way, Cherrybubble flicked her ears, her smile returning to a playful smirk. “Okay... you don’t like the name Stripey.. I’ll think of something else.” She was enjoying this, probably more than she should be. But it was fun, messing around with a cat who snapped back. To Cherrybubble, it was very attractive. Something that she’d defintley call out later on. Not right now though. Cherrybubble was direct, but not creepily direct. She gave herself some time before delving further into flirting. Right now, it was safe to stick with simple teasing.
“How about Snowflake? For those frosty looks you’re giving me?” She suggested, quite proud of her clever thinking. Of course, Tallmarsh didn’t look anything like a “snowflake”, she was quite the opposite. And that’s what made Cherrybubble love the nickname even more.
As Tallmarsh turned her gaze to Cherrybubble and started inspecting her wounds, the warrior fell silent for a moment. She herself cast a glance over her pelt, at the long scratch down her chest, the one on her flank, and the few on her shoulders. All of which were her major wounds, and infected.
The silence didn’t last for long though, as Cherrybubble piped up again. “Here, let me strike a deal with you.” Her tail flicked gently as she gave one of her self proclaimed, heart-winning smiles. “You let me call you Snowflake, and I’ll let you call me whatever you want.” She knew she was reaching out a bit on a limb here, she was sure that Tallmarsh would be capable of coming up with something embarrassing and humiliating to call her. But, the medicine cat would be in for a surprise. As practically nothing could make Cherrybubble feel embarrassed, she cared nothing for what other cats thought of her.

"See you think that I hate being covered in dirt when the truth is I DON'T MIND IT!" she yelled out to her sister while looking back at her. As soon as she turned her head around she saw a branch in front of her and made the quick decision to scamper over it. She was able to pull herself over the branch and leap down the other side relatively easily, she continued running.

(BTW Fawnkit is significantly slower than her siblings but she does have a larger, stronger build.)

Tallmarsh frowned at the injuries before her. She'd treated infection before, but this... Every single wound was large and infected. This she-cat would probably be absolutely covered in cobwebs by the time Tallmarsh was finished with her. At her second nickname, the medicine cat tried to hide the smile that pushed its way onto her face for a moment, but her eyes betrayed her. She definitely preferred this name to Stripey--she thought it was kinda cute--but she was supposed to be serious. She had other patients to treat, so she didn't have time to goof around and make up nicknames. "I don't even look like a snowflake, though," she said as she grabbed a piece of damp moss. Without warning to medicine cat began to pat Cherrybubble's wounds somewhat-gently with the moss to clean them. This wasn't something she had been taught to do--she was just very adamant about keeping her workspace clean and organized. Padding away again, she got a mouthful of the first herbs--marigold--and began to chew thoughtfully. Making her way back to Cherrybubble, she paused her chewing after a moment to mumble back, "...Fine. I'll have to think about your nickname though. Maybe if you tell me something embarrassing about yourself?" Now she had a bit of a mischievous look in her eyes as she glanced up at the black and white she-cat.

Birchkit halted when he saw Silentkit and Fawnkit near the Mud puddle up ahead. It was a good thing he had to, because seconds later, his two sisters tumbled into the mud, coming out covered in it. "We could try to clean it off before going in the nursery?" Birchkit suggested, but realized it was a mouse brained idea. It was leaf-bare and it was freezing outside. The kit tried to think of a way to explain this to Flamingrose. I guess we just tell the truth.

Anyways, hows it going?" Dropletkit asked, looking at Silentkit contently. The female saw her bestie glance over at Birchkit and Fawnkit, but decided not to give it too much attention.

Silent'Kit stared at Droplet'Kit as her best friend spoke about the once again useless drama. "...Right...Im Fine, Just letting those two talk for a bit while they plan how to escape Flaming'Rose's wrath or whatever..". She gave an exasperated sigh.

Fawnkit was looking over at Dropletkit and her sister, Silentkit. She wasn't sure what to make of a cat that has that much to talk about other cats. "Birchkit, have you talked to that kit over there?" she asked her brother while giving Dropletkit a sideways glance. Static TawnyNeedsACoffee

(( xD Fawn'Kit and the overprotectiveness ))

Silent'Kit glanced sideways for a brief moment as she felt her siblings eyes on her before drawing her attention back to Droplet'Kit as she started speaking again." Oh yeah like you asked I was able to find out more about the quarrel with Those cats you wanted...whatever their names were I think it was Squirrel'Leaf and Sparrow'Jaw? Yeah anyway, they both seem to be ignoring each other as of right now". She said clicking her tongue at the boring words that spilled from her own mouth.

Dropletkit saw Silentkit's sideways glanced and wondered what it was about, not noticing that she was looking over at her siblings, but chose not to wonder about the miniature action. "Oooookay! Thanks !!!" she exclaimed, giving Silentkit an appreciative smile as she slightly waved her tail around. She noticed Fawnkit and Birchkit talking, and she listened with one ear while talking to her best friend. What could she say? She could never miss any chance to eavesdrop on a conversation; she was nosy. "So, uh.. what'dya wanna do?" Dropletkit inquired, tilting her head to the side questioningly.

"Of course I'll help you!" Dropletkit responded in a friendly modus operandi. "You are my bestie, after all! I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble," she told her, smiling contently. Quickly Dropletkit went through in her mind how to dry Silentkit off. "Shake all of the lose droplets of water off, and then we'll work from there," she told Silentkit, nodding to herself. Dropletkit wasn't sure if she'd be of any use helping Silentkit, but it was worth a shot. Maybe she could stall Flamingrose while Silentkit found a good hiding spot to hide away from Flamingrose until she dried off, but the female was pretty sure that wouldn't work. They would just have to see if StarClan was on their side and if they could successfully find ways to empty Silentkit's fur of the water.

"Hey wait," she said hopping out of the mudpuddle "I'm the biggest here and I'm the one who started the chase, I should be the one to take the blame for all this," she said with water dripping from her pelt. She smiled at her sister, "besides your the one who hates being dirty." Fawnkit then shook out her pelt, sending thick blobs of mud everywhere, though she still had a substantial amount on her pelt.
(I kinda want Fawnkit to take on a bit of an older sibling role, at least for the big things like this)
(also I want Flamingrose to come into camp to see this mess sometime soon, is that all alright with ya TawnyNeedsACoffee and Static )
Silent'Kit looked at her for a second before sighing. " If that's what you really want... Then I won't stop you". She said maturely as she hesitantly went into the puddle, it helped somewhat but she was still quite dirty, she came out soaked, she shook her fur and droplets went everywhere when she was done her fur poofed up a bit making her look like a fluffball. "Tch...". She clicked her tongue annoyed.

Birchkit heard Simplefeather's name and looked up from his own conversation. He had met Simplefeather yesterday and she had seemed like a good cat. She had helped him warm back up and even talked to him for a bit. The secret surely cant be that bad, Birchkit thought. He doubted the warrior would want him to know her secret, but the fact that some cat had purposely tried to start drama angered him a little which was rare. He usually tried to accept all cats, but who would want to purposely ruin a cats life? He assumed it had been on purpose anyways. The way Dropletkit had described it made it sound like they had. There is probably a reason why that cat did that. Don't jump to assumptions.
Now that he was paying attention though, he wished he had listened to the whole conversation. He knew it had something to do about drying Fawnkit and Silentkit off (or hoped so anyways), but that was all he understood. He looked at the ground, not wanting to engage in the conversation for fear of interrupting or making it awkward.

Dropletkit glanced at Birchkit questioningly, noticing his uncomfortable movements, and repeated her inquiry. The female knew what it looked like when someone had missed a conversation and decided to help Birchkit out. "Do you have any ideas on how we can dry off Silentkit? She's wet and Flamingrose will probably yell at her." The female tilted her head kindly at him, then turned her head back in Silentkit's direction. Her best friend's siblings, she guessed, perhaps weren't the best at making plans. The kit didn't really give that much thought, since plans weren't often necessary, but figured that good plan-creating skills would be helpful right about now. Maybe her idea would work, maybe not. Only time could tell, if Dropletkit was telling the truth. While waiting for Fawnkit and Birchkit's responses, if they had any, she thought over the drama she'd heard. Simplefeather was a friendly and generous cat, to be fair; but what wasn't fair was Saltwater telling the female's secret. Dropletkit had never had any sort of feelings towards Saltwater or Simplefeather, but, knowing the secret, she was starting to like Saltwater less and less. The fact of the matter was, secrets weren't meant to be told. Unless you told them to Dropletkit; that was a-okay. Dropletkit decided to stop thinking about such things, since such complex matters made her mind ache, and snapped herself back into reality in a few seconds.

Dropletkit gave Silentkit and Birchkit an odd look as her best friend leaned over to whisker something to her sibling. Silentkit didn't usually act as if Dropletkit didn't exist, and the female felt very strange all of a sudden. Had she said something off? The kit decided not to speak until the matter was addressed, taking a breath and holding herself back from talking. It was a bit of a difficult struggle, seeing as Dropletkit was the most talkative cat in the group of four, but she kept herself silent.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine." Birchkit responded. Complaining about it wouldn't help any, and Dropletkit had not been the one to say anything about Simplefeather. After reminding himself of this, he saw no reason to be mad at Dropletkit for simply telling what had happened. "S-so what are we doing?" Birchkit asked, changing the subject and trying to get back to the point of the conversation.

Birchkit said, the guilt still clearly showing through. He started to stutter out a long apology, but once he realized nobody understood him, he stopped, looking even more guilty than before. Not wanting to make things worse, he stayed silent, trying not to look at anyone. What would Flsmingrose think if she knew he and Fawnkit had been judging a cat? She spoke coldly as she turned around and padded over to the other side of the clearing, obviously now in a mood she sat down letting the sun warm her fur, she knew she cared about what others thought but it hurts her to think her siblings could actually judge a cat who was kind enough to put up with Her complexed personality.

(( Honestly Idk what I'm doing xD Cave Static Hopekitt ))

Dropletkit brushed Silentkit's fur with her tail appreciatively, giving her best friend a grateful nod. typically, cats didn't judge Dropletkit, but in the rare occasion they voiced their opinions, Dropletkit didn't really know how to defend herself without going out of her comfort zone and being less-than-friendly. "Silentkit, you can stay in the sun to help relax yourself and to evaporate all the water in your fur. Fawnkit, you can go clean your muddy fur. there's a batch of some pretty clean snow over there," she meowed, nodding her head in the direction of the fluffy, hard, merciless snow. "do you guys like fresh-kill? me and Birchkit, if Birchkit's okay with that, can go fetch some," the female said helpfully. deciding that there was nothing else to say without one of the cats responding, she patiently kept her mouth shut so that another thunderclan kit could have a chance to talk.

Poppyleaf savored the taste of the fresh mouse she had just picked up from the prey pile. Leaf bare didn't usually yield such juicy prey, but this creature was unusually tasty.
Relishing the last bite before gulping it down, Poppyleaf stood and looked around the clearing. She had hunted already today, and now she had eaten the tortoiseshell she cat found she had nothing to do. She padded over to a sunny patch, it wasn't warm but the light still felt good on her dappled pelt. Perhaps she would find something to do later, but for now she would take a little nap.
(sorry if it's short, couldn't think of much else lol!) :hooray:

Poppyleaf raised her head from her crossed paws and saw that a cat had come over to the sunny patch where she was lying and was talking to her.
"Hi Silverfur. Uhh, shall we go explore the forest together?" Poppyleaf suggested the first thing that came to mind as she looked at the clearing exit. Her green eyes sparkled in the light as she smiled at Silverfur, glad to have some company.

Poppyleaf nodded at Silverfur's response and proceeded to get up and walk towards the camp exit. The faint light spiraling down from the forest canopy above cast shadows over the forest floor as the cats padded over the fallen leaves and earth. The chirp of a solitary blackbird could be heard emanating from from the bare trees.
"It's so cold lately, I can't wait for New leaf." Poppyleaf meowed as she joined a rough path that had been created by many paws treading it on their way out of the camp.

“I don’t really know...But I think it’s because with the sickness he didn’t want the new medicine cat to be sick.” He meowed cautiously. Blueberrypaw yawned and stretched as he stood up to lay down. His eyes looked over at the apprentices den. He took a bite of the mouse and left the rest of the mouse to Waterpaw as he scooted it toward her.

Waterpaw watched as he scooted the mouse towards her. She smiled and took a bite. "Or maybe Fallenstar just doesn't trust anyone to apoint a new medicine or deputy. Or he's just waiting for the right moment.", she replied, swallowing her bite. She finished off and began to lick her paws.

“Maybe.” He meowed standing up and stretching. “Let’s go to the borders.” Blueberrypaw meowed with a sparkle in his eye. He wanted to run to the borders to get his new found energy out of him and scent mark a bit. Mabye he could get to know this shecat a little more than he did already.

Silent'kit didn't exactly respond but nodded before giving a brief glance at her siblings, she started to feel guilty but remained being moody.

Waterpaw smiled, "Sure which one?" , she asked. The molly lifted her left front paw and gave it a little lick. She then drew it over her ear. A cold breeze ran through her, causing her pelt to bristle. "We'll have to run of we want to keep warm." , she purred with a laugh.

Passionstar didn't know where to look for Everglare, but the best placed seem to be the nursery since she briefly raised kits there. He figured that maybe she missed the scent of milk or the cuddles of her little fluff-balls at her stomach. Albeit, Passionstar wasn't their father, being a role figure in their life was an incredible experience. He did love playing with them, and sometimes disciplining them when they needed it. He knew they would all turn into fine cats, but even so, Passionstar wasn't very happy to know that Goosepaw had to be taken to Shadowclan. He knew the she cat had been sickly, but he figured her health would get better if she stayed in thunderclan. It was a cautious decision, but Passionstar relied on the stars, and if the stars thought it was a good idea, then he wouldn't disrespect it.

As he padded into the nursery, a dead mouse was in his jaws, freshly killed by himself since he wanted to offer it to Everglare, wondering if she would be okay and pleasant to talk to. He probably couldn't make her feel better straightaway with the recent events, but he knew that within time, she'd be fine. Passionstar thought she was a resilient she cat and she was a strong one. Right now, all she needed was a good friend to let her know that he cared.

Everglare breathed in the scent of the nursery, the sweet milky scent. It was less than a moon ago that she had been in the nursery caring for her own bundles of joy. She closed her eyes and could remember the five balls of fluff curled up against her side, but when she opened her eyes, they were gone. Goosepaw had gone to ShadowClan, left to become medicine cat apprentice of a different clan. The stars may have said so, but Everglare didn't have to agree with the stars. They should give advice, and not tell all the living cats how to live their lives. She sighed, her other kits had become apprentices, and though she could see them every day, it still felt like they had all left with Goosepaw.

The muddy colored molly was surprised to see Passionstar enter the nursery with a mouse in his mouth. She padded over to him, a eyebrow raised in confusion. "You do realize I sleep in the warriors den now?" she teased, sitting down in front of the tom. She didn't know how he had guessed she would be in the nursery, but she didn't mind. The tom was just what Everglare needed to take her mind of the kits.
