Zerosight considered his options: He could say that they did it wrong, and maybe that would get this kitten off of his back. Or, he could tell the truth and repeat that it wasn't bad at all. But, he didn't really want them to leave... right? After a moment, he made his decision. "No, it was alright," He repeated, this time in his normal voice. "You show promise." The tom's heart ached at speaking those words to a cat besides his beloved Northpath. The blind medicine cat finished putting the herbs away and moved the injured apprentice to a nest further in the den.
"Really?" Remorakit felt enormous weight lift of them as they stared down at the apprentice, who now slept peacefully under the influence of the poppy seeds. When Zerosight said they showed promise, they blinked. "A-are you serious? What are you trying to tell me?" They shuffled their paws, accidentally hitting the pile of dust, and Remora jumped. "I should clean that up," they muttered feebly to their self.

Honeykit kept her paws firmly on the bug, wincing at the slight stinging sensation on her pawpads. Maybe she shouldn't have landed on that stick. "It's still twitching under my paws, it feels so weird! It hurts a little, but that's ok." She said, turning her head to the apprentice, which was now sitting right next to her. She giggled at his tail-flick, swishing her own one around against the ground.

She nodded at his words. "Is it like this when you get mices and other fresh kill? Ooh! What if we took it back to camp? I dunno if it'll feed anyone though..."

"That's exactly what it's like," Pricklepaw confirmed. A purr rumbled in the dilute's throat at her mention of taking it back to camp. "You're welcome to take it back if that's what you'd like, but I'm not so sure your mother would appreciate you bringing a beetle into the nest." He couldn't help but snicker at the prospect of what the kit's mother might do. Most cats don't like bugs in their nests, and a queen was bound to react more exaggeratedly than any other.

He gave his ear a flick, as if to dismiss the mental image, and nudged her paw slightly, careful not to free the bug. With a wrinkle of his nose, he added, "Plus I'm not so sure it'd taste all that great..."

"Wow, cool!" Honeykit chirped, still keeping the bug firmly underneath her pawpads. She giggled at Pricklepaw's comment, tail flicking. Releasing it into the nursery? "That would be really funny, though." She grinned cheekily, before shaking her head and looking back up at the apprentice, eyes widening nervously.

"I'm not going to actually going to do that!" Honeykit said, her orange fur rippling. With the soft nudge of her paw, she twitched and gulped, wondering if playtime was over now. She didn't really want to release it - it was strange, like a token of her adventure, of a friendship - but it wasn't like it had much use in camp.

"I'm gonna show it to Momma and my brother, and even some other cats!" She proclaimed, after a moment of complete silence from the kit.

She jumped and but the ball. She twisted awkwardly and landed on her back. She Winced in pain and got up. ". . ." she said nothing she rolled the ball over to her. It went pretty fast to.

She looked at the rock above her and dust dropped off it.
Is the roof going to fall?!?! She thought. A small rock fell and she rolled over.
"Whhat is wrong with this rock?" She asked Blackkit.

Blackkit watched as the ball sailed towards her before she leaped and took a second bat at it, this time sending the fuzzy green ball slightly higher than where she sent it last time.

She didn't want the mossball to accidentally hit another cat and watched with a slight hint fear in her expression.

Fogfire didn't notice Thunderstrike, instead raising her gaze back up to Nettlenose and away from the dirt beneath her paws. "Um..." She began with a slight, awkward laugh, unnerved by the silence between them. Mouse brain, what where you thinking? Now you've made it all awkward! She had been worried, however, and didn't think before acting. Normally she wasn't very touchy with other cats. Had anyone else gotten a bump on their forehead, she most likely would've lightly teased them and sent them to the medicine den. But it wasn't as if anything with Nettlenose was normal, was it? He was very different from any other cat Fogfire had known.

"So... what are these games you were talking about before?" Fogfire asked, trying to regain some of her confidence. She didn't like feeling flustered- however, she wouldn't exactly describe it as that. She wasn't flustered! More like... alright so maybe the molly was flustered, but so what? Fogfire shook her head, regaining focus. Embarrassment filled her as she realized she had dazed off, lost in thought. She didn't say anything, however, hoping she'd be able to catch onto at least part of what Nettlenose had said. Or, hopefully, he hasn't actually said anything yet.

With Nettlenose's wandering eyes, he caught a glimps of Thunderstrike. The other tom was wrestling a kit of his hind leg, something Nettle probably would have laughed at, had it not been for Thunderstrike being the tom the kit wouldn't declaw. His gaze only narrowed and he felt a tingling in his paws to move away from the other male, though he didn't know why.

"Oh, no that's okay.." The grey tabby tom mewed. He'd almost forgotten the awkward actions Fogfire had sent his way. For the moment her muzzle was on his.. He couldn't explain the feeling. Safe. That was as close to describing it as he could get. He felt safe around Fogfire, and, truthfully, didn't mind her behavior. Though, most cats do, and right now, he was most cats. Putting on an awkward face, Nettle pretended to be just as frazzled as she. He looked at his friend, holding back a smile.

"Yeah," He answered after the mention of his games, "they're really fun, I think you'll like them." His tail twitched and his spine straightened. He was more confident now that they weren't dwelling on the old subject; this was something he knew. "If you're not doing anything this evening, there are a few that are better played at night," Nettlenose invited the she-cat out with him, still ignoring Thunderstrike. He blinked at her, awaiting an answer.

"What is wrong with this rock?" She asked Blackkit.

Blackkit watched the mossball roll over to her and stopped it before looking up to see what the other kitten was talking about. When she noticed the rock that Ravenkit was talking about she shrugged, "Dunno. Maybe it wants your attention."

The Siamese kitten didn't really know how to reply to such a comment. As she pawed at the rock that fell she flicked her tail upward to point at the roof part with dust falling from it, "Is it me, or does that part of the nursery roof seem a little unsteady?"

"I'm Volekit. And no, I'm not busy.", Volekit mewed, licking his left forepaw.
"Ahhhh, good!" The young kit squeaked, padding closer towards Volekit in an attempt to be playful. "Maybe we could do something? Play a game?" She continued, twitching her tail from side to side. "What games do you like to play? I like mossball and tag. Oh, and playing catch is fun too!" Compared to Faconkit's sun of enthusiasm, Volekit seemed awfully serious. He didn't seem like the 'let's-go-jump-around-and-cause-trouble' type.

Falconkit loved observing others and wondering what was going on inside their minds. Was he annoyed by her outbursts? She hoped not.

He tipped his head at her declaration, pausing to think, then nodded his ascension. "Alright, but how are you gonna get it back?" She could always carry it like she would fresh-kill but... He wrinkled his nose just slightly at the thought. No, that wouldn't work. Maybe it they wrapped it in a leaf? No, then it might crawl out. Surely it wouldn't be that hard to figure out?

@Empress of Evil

Stormpaw sat in the clearing. The silvery she cat, as usual, was alone...and although her posture was peaceful, her mind was anything but. I'm going to be a warrior soon? But how? That can't be possible, I'm not good at anything, and being a warrior...oh, so much more responsibility, Stormpaw thought. She didn't mind the responsibility. What she did mind was the fact that others might be counting on her, and she was not looking forwards to that. As a matter of fact, the last thing she wanted was attention to be focused on her. Although Stormpaw wasn't a coward- she was quite brave when she needed to be, actually- fear seemed to be something that had grabbed hold of her long ago and was in no hurry to let go. She glanced around with her blue hues, seeing if she could spot a friendly face- preferably a familiar one- that she might be able to confide in. Trust was something that Stormpaw gave warily, and if her anxiety slipped out to a stranger...well, that could have horrible consequences. Definitely consequences that she did not want.

She didn't want to think about the embarrassment, or the constant struggle to avoid the searching eyes of cats who might have nothing better to do then make fun of her. She didn't want to think about the stress if she either became a great or terrible warrior. Average would be nice. Average is great. Nothing wrong with being average. The she cat thought, her tail twitching back and forth anxiously. She hated to be anything more then an average apprentice, with an average life. The silver cat curled her tail more tightly around herself, the flickers of worry passing across her face clearly now, although her mind still held one confident thought. At least there will be less cats telling me what to think and what to do.

(Gonna take a little more convincing than that. XD)
Zerosight tensed up and flattened his ears. "Nothing," He snapped, turning tail and moving back toward his nest. The grey tom angrily began to change the moss of his nest, but paused before Northpath's bedding that was beside his. The medicine cat continued to clean his own but left his late apprentice's nest alone, not able to bring himself to remove the bed. Besides, he could still faintly smell Northpath on it, and he felt calmed by it.

"You seem... Upset? Depressed? Oh, I heard about... Is it still Northpath? Oof... I probably shouldn't have said that..." The grey kit turned back to the dust and coughed loudly, attempting to cover up their mistake by cleaining as much as they could. "Does Owlpaw need anything? Like, for scratches?" Remora turned to look carefully at the patient, who now slept peacefully. They cautiously re-adjusted the bindings on the leg they had done.

"Who's your older brother?" The Siamese kitten questioned as she looked at Jaykit's indicated sister cats curled up in their nest(s).

She thought of her adoptive older brother Fernkit, but she didn't know quite where the tomkit was. Looking around, she couldn't quite see him in the nursery. That is, if he was even in the nursery. For all she knew, he could be anywhere. Remembering that the kit preferred to stick around her adoptive mother, she started scanning the den for the overprotective queen that had taken her in.

"I've got an older brother too, but I don't know where he is."

Honeykit nodded at Pricklepaw's question, ears twitching, focusing her attention back onto her paws. Or, rather, the what was underneath her paws.

Her muzzle scrunched up in frustration. Nothing she was thinking of seemed all that plausable. "Um, we could. . .carry. . .? Argh, I can't think of anything!" She considered just letting it loose, and chasing it back to camp, but there were at least a million cracks or bushes it could escape through. "Should I just squish it? What if I carried it on my nose?" She was just blurting random ideas now. Honeykit shifted her body forward, dragging it along the ground without completely squashing it. Would that even work? She would look so mousebrained doing that though.

(Omg I meant to do this yesterday and had to go!)

Hawkfeather sat in the clearing, her tabby tail wrapped around her paws. Normally the cold air seemed to effect her more, but with everything that had happened...she just didn't have time to think about it. She couldn't imagine what life would be like if Ratnight was still leader. Thank goodness he was gone. The she cat's tail flicked again, and she glanced around. Normally she was much more cheerful and excitable then this, but...again, after all that had happened, it seemed she had finally grown up a little. She had learned a lot. Before, she had always thought her clanmates were completely loyal, that they were all on the same side, and then...Hawkfeather closed her blue hues to try and get the visions of the dead or dying cats out of her head, the battle yowls- all of that had haunted her ever since it had ended, and she had no doubt that it probably always would. Parts of her wanted to forget, and parts of her were glad that she probably wouldn't. She didn't want to forget everything that had happened...because after all, she didn't want to forget that not everyone was loyal and had a good heart.

No matter how hard Hawkfeather tried, she couldn't find the good in those cats who had murdered others, or the cats who had fought against StarClan just out of spite. Loyalty was an important value, she knew- But there's loyalty to your Clan, loyalty to your friends, and loyalty to your beliefs. Which one is the right one? She wondered. Hawkfeather was still a young warrior, and- to be honest- not the smartest. However, this had certainly given her an amount of insight that she hadn't had before. So how was it, then, that she was still able to treat her clanmates as though they hadn't been fighting against her only a few moons ago? How was it that she was able to smile at everyone still, as though nothing wrong had been done? She really couldn't say. She had no idea how this had happened or even if things would be the same ever again. Still, the only thing she could do was have hope. That's something I'm good at, she thought with a faint smile on her features.

Leafkit felt so relieved, honestly, and that relieve was quite strong in his emotions, and mind, and glad, so so glad. Whiskers twitching with a cheerful radiance, he nodded, "Or else, the queens will yell at us, and squawking, heh. They did yell at me when I first played with this thing." He chuckled jokingly, humor glistening in his optics, and tone as he responded, with a nudge to the pebble, awkwardly. He didn't know they would be THIS understanding, but they were, it made him feel awkward, a bit. Leafkit rolled his pebble over, keeping it gently beneath his paw, but not too hard. "Oh...and,...thanks." Leafkit mewed surprise and gladness crisping off of the tabby. He didn't think...They...think my pebble's cool...? Leafkit didn't know why, they had said that, and why they did. He probably needed to socialize with others more often, after all, his apprentice ceremony was nearing, closely, too closely even, and...he needed to get to know others more. "Errr- usually, I don't talk with anyone, and play alone in the clearing." Leafkit spoke, with an awkward tone sweeping into his mouth, ears flattened slightly. That was true, he was lonely, and most kit's thought he was... a bit odd, and strange, so he stayed away from other kits. This kit was a bit different, they were nice, and understanding, kinda like himself, but with a little more than that. Leafkit had a few friends, but that was it, he did need some more, and maybe his dad would notice him? Yeah, he would, of course.

Well, at least he wasn't the only one having trouble coming up with something... He had been about to respond to the kit's latest suggestion--one that would have been surely a sight to see, but didn't seem plausible--when she started scooting her paws forward. The apprentice twitched his whiskers and watched her curiously. That... might actually work.

Without a word, Pricklepaw sidestepped around her and into the tunnel. He walked slowly, sweeping any debris that littered the path to the side and flattening the clumps of grass that had sprouted up. Moving the beetle like that would be slow going, but clearing the way would surely speed it up a bit.

Timberpaw sat in the clearing, his tail wrapped around his paws. The only thought going through his mind at the moment was 'what happened?' He couldn't understand it. The earlier encounter with his friend had made him feel...happy? Scared? The tom shifted his weight a little, his light green hues more alert then they had been in a long time. And why? Just because he wanted to see his friend again. Where was she, anyways? The tom shifted his weight again, uncomfortable with the situation at hand. He wondered if she would be made an apprentice of ThunderClan soon. He hoped so...that would be great. He and Apurva hanging out together, and he really wished he were a warrior by now so that he could train her. But then again...things could get awkward pretty quickly. What if she meets one of those other apprentices, those little flir- oh. He thought unhappily, realizing that the first time they had met he had been a 'little flirt.'

He wasn't quite sure what to say, what to do...where to go...maybe she would show up. Maybe he could try and figure this out. Did she know? Well...no, probably not. But maybe she knew someone who did, or maybe- maybe they didn't need to figure it out. Some things were better not to be said. Such as...what's going on now? He thought with a sigh, the tip of his tail twitching uncomfortably back and forth, a little worried but weighing his options here. He could go and find her. He could stay here. He could try to avoid her. While he was trying to figure out which one would be best until he could figure out what had happened to him, he could only hope that she wouldn't show up. Not that he didn't want to see her, he loved being around her- but now was not the best time. Definitely not. Did he really, really need to figure out what was going on? Did their lives depend on it? Well no, but my mental stability might, he argued with himself. It was true; Timberpaw could feel himself getting more and more agitated every time he thought about this strange thing. He had no one he could ask. He certainly wasn't close to his mentor, and he couldn't ask Apurva...could he? Timberpaw sighed, stretching out into a more comfortable position.

Apurva padded back into camp, her expression slightly more wary than before, as she knew that she had done something most would look down upon. Pausing just inside the entrance, she bent her head to sniff her pelt, hoping that the scent of TwolegPlace had been masked by the scents of the forest. She hadn't been to TwolegPlace long, and nor had Maplefur, but still. Somewhat cautiously, the pretty she-cat cast a quick, fleeting glance around. Spotting Timberpaw, she took a step in his direction, then halted.
She hoped she that he hadn't noticed her absence in camp, and she also hoped that nobody else had. Shifting slightly with a strange, growing discomfort, the molly and soon to be apprentice sat down in a darker space in camp, watching. If all went well, nobody would even notice her coming into camp, and even fewer would notice the faint, stale scents of the place that she and Maplefur had snuck off to. She liked Maplefur. The warrior was easy to relate to, seeing as they both had very similar pasts. Both of them had kin in TwolegPlace, and both were former kittypets. Plus, the calico warrior was very easy to talk to, and she felt comfortable around her. Flicking her ears, Apurva decided that soon, she would talk to Maplefur about the odd feelings of discomfort in heat that she always felt whenever she was around the brown tabby tom. Hopefully, she woold know the answer. After a brief moment of hesitation, Apurva climbed to her paws, padding slowly over to Timberpaw. Sitting down a fox length away, she dipped her head in a somewhat uneasy greeting, she wrapped her tail neatly over her paws and fluffed up her unusual colored pelt against the chilly wind that stole her warmth and made her paws, ears, tail and nose tingle. To be honest with herself, Apurva sort of liked the feeling, but she also sort of didn't. One of the main reasons she did was because it kept the odd, uncomfortable warm and itchy feeling at bay, although not entirely, as it started returning as she sat quietly in front of Timberpaw.

He chuckled jokingly, humor glistening in his optics, and tone as he responded, with a nudge to the pebble, awkwardly.
Remorakit nodded, laughing quietly--the queens did squawk, but never before had they witnessed someone daring to say that out loud. They were growing slightly fond of the other kit. ( Sorry it's short ;-; )

Silvercloud lifted up one of her paws, licking it before slowly dragging it over her ear to flatten up a tuft of fur that stood up. The tabby liked to have a clean and neat appearance. To her, appearances could be quite important when it came first impressions. Today she wasn't really looking on making any new friends. She would probably just go talk to some cats who she already knew. Or maybe she might do a training session with Sorrelpaw. She looked up at the sun, squinting her eyes. It was still quite early in the morning so she would have plenty of time later today to do training. For now, she would just relax and find someone to talk to. A certain cat popped into her mind. One that looked quite similiar to her. Echospeck. If Nettleclaw was here and able to read her mind, he would most likely be dismayed by her choices. Although, Silvercloud couldn't help but get a warm, fuzzy feeling when she was near Echospeck. The tom was a charming one and she enjoyed his company. Of course, she would never admit it in front of her best friend's presence, but she sometimes preferred Echospeck's company rather than Nettleclaw. She often found herself rather confused when she though about it. Nettleclaw had saved her in the floods, and they had even become best friends, but soon Echospeck came along and he seemed to be taking all of Silvercloud's attention from Nettleclaw. Silvercloud shook her pelt before using her amber gaze to search for Echospeck. Finally, she spotted him. She gave her pelt a few final licks before standing up to walk over to the tom.

(I understand, it's fine! I got writers block in the past, not that much anymore really, haha! I actually have some in this post, but that's fine.)
Leafkit didn't really mean to say it out loud, it was merely a joke, really. But, he did say it, and he couldn't take it back, and that was a okay, for certain. "So, do you want to go outside?" He asked calmly, with a twinkle of awkwardness, but a bit more confidence in his tone, as he held the pebble they would be playing with, rather gently. It was quite...fragile, as he thought many, many times, and must be held with care if they not playing games with it. Leafkit, honestly felt a bit..awkward around Remora, honestly, but thought they were understanding, and much nicer than...other kits, and Twilightkit. But, that was just his opinion on them, a bit, to say the least. Remorakit is pretty nice, I think I might ask them if we could be....friends. Yeah, friends... He thought, a smile on his maw as he set his mind, leaf green eyes never revealing his thoughts, but still looked as thoughtful as he usually looked, shuffling his paws a bit as he thought, with a swish of his tail.

{That's Okay XD Mine's Pretty Late}
Bluejay strolled into the clearing, a small mouse dangling from his jaws. The silver maine coon narrowed his eyes, his blue hues danced with tiredness and pride, happy with himself for catching something for the clan, even if it was small, it would still be able to feed a kit, though it wasn't his best catch he would take it over nothing. The tom made his way to the fresh kill pile, the limp catch swinging between his tightly clamped jaws with every step he took, snow crunching beneath his paws. Once he was a mouse length away from the pile he dropped the mouse on the top and twitched his tail, observing the pile "It's finally beginning to look like a pile." he stated, his nose wrinkling once he caught a wiff of a rotten corpse, it disgusted him, and if he didn't move it, it would contaminate the rest of the fresh prey. With a snort he bent down and began to shift the limp catches with his paw, blood staining the snowy white appendage, after a few seconds of searching he found a rotten sparrow and picked it up with his teeth by its wing. His nose twitched once the awful smell invaided his nose, wanting to throw it out as soon as possible he waddled out of the clearing, pushing his way through the bracken tunnel, and tossed it a few fox-lengths from the clan after digging a hole for it, and buried it.

Bluejay let out a snort once he was back in the clearing, his ears flat, his blue hues shone with annoyance "How did no one else smell that?" he snapped aloud, hoping that other's around him heard it, it took some time, and instead of dealing with a rotting corpse he could have been sleeping by now, just thinking about that annoyed him. He stomped across the clearing and was about to push his way into the warriors den until he spotted a pair of blue distressed filled eyes, it made him stop dead in his tracks, and it annoyed him that he stopped. The dark silver warrior hung his head and let out a long, dragged out sigh, and swiveled around, now facing Hawkfeather, Blue orbs meeting blue orbs "You look troubled...." he trailed off, realizing that he didn't plan on what he planned on saying, he didn't even know if she truly was distressed, he inwardly kicked himself for just turning and talking to another clanmate without the slightest idea of how to start a conversation. Since he already started, there was no use backing out now, he sat himself down with a huff and wrapped his tail around his paws, hoping to block the smell of iron and rotting flesh.

Honeykit perked her head up curiously as the white apprentice padded in front of her in silence, wondering if he'd come up with an idea himself. She blinked as he cleared away the tunnel, leaving it as smooth as a cat's fur after it had been groomed. Well, not really - the dirt itself was a bit bumpy, but it was obviously clearer than it'd been moments ago. Honeykit looked to her paws, and then at the tunnel, and then at Pricklepaw, and then at herself again. What was he. . .

"Oh!" She chirped, feeling the need to bounce but keeping herself firmly on the ground. Looks like her last idea had worked after all! "Here I go!" She said, before rushing forward for a second and nearly squishing the bug underneath her paws. With wide, worried eyes, the ginger kit whispered a quick "Sorry," before crouching down and scooting forward, making her way down the tunnel carefully. Thank Starclan they weren't in some confusing cave system.

Smallpaw sat in a shady spot in the clearing. His grey tail flicked, he narrowed his eyes at the medicine cat's den. He new Remorakit might be in there. He sighed, shifting his paws. Laying down, Smallpaw made a small snowball. "Remora...don't forget me. I know you might become a medicine cat. I know you'll never understand but.." He mumbled.

Of course, she would never admit it in front of her best friend's presence, but she sometimes preferred Echospeck's company rather than Nettleclaw. Echospeck yawns, a late start to the day he would call it, but the rest was well deserved after his successful evening hunt yesterday. Stretching out his legs, he also takes the moment to groom up a little. He sighs, a soft purr about him as once again his favorite moment hunting with Silvercloud pops in his head. It's happening more and more it seems, thinking about her, bumping into her, all the way to spending a whole day with her, she's everywhere! But it's not a bad thing, her company has been the most excitement he's had in moons, it's actually made his evening solo hunts feel too quiet. Maybe I should ask her... to come along one night? Nah, Nettleclaw's probably the one with her attention in camp, since I'm never here at sundown.

Echospeck turns to look over Nettleclaw's usual loafing spot. He's not there, so Silvercloud is probably with him now. He turns his head further to groom his shoulder, then froze immediately. His eyes widened, Silvercloud's padding right to him. He hastely curls his tail, "Silvercloud! Good morning."

At Echospeck's call to Silvercloud, Nettleclaw raises his ears and stealthily leaps into the apprentices den just enough to peek out one ear. He gets some looks from the young warriors, but that's nothing new to him.

Jaypaw hobbled out of the apprentice den, groggy, tired, and in a grumpy mood, the silver tom's blue hues were half idled, his tail dragging behind him. The silver apprentice wasn't a morning bird, or a night owl, he had the perfect schedule for sleep, never sleeping to much, or to little, that is, until he became an apprentice, then it go to all sorts of whacked up. The silver apprentice stifled a yawn, his ears flattening against his head, now most of the time this would be considered cute to most, but when he was in this mood, most of the clan knew to stay away, for their own safety, he may seem small, cute, and innocent, but in reality he would easily tear a cat limb from limb if pushed. Jaypaw staggered to the fresh kill pile and grumbled, wondering where his mentor was, he needed to hunt, the clan needed more food, but then again, the two agent trained together since they got in their argument, since then he's been hunting on his own. The little tom let out a grumble and kicked up some snow, shivering slightly when a clump got between his pads "Where is that jerk, at this rate I'll never become a Warrior Gyreststar will have to hold me back another moon." he hissed, his tail lashing back and fourth as he thought about retrying his apprenticeship, or getting another mentor.

Mossdrop was a pretty good morning bird, but sometimes, a grumpy attitude came from her. The dark brown mackerel tabby was sitting quite close to the freshkill pile, slowly debating about..this one apprentice, who got on her nerves, a pathetic Starclan supporting she cat, who she had seen going in and out of camp. She huffed in annoyance as she thought about them. Adderpaw, was their name. Her cold, yellow eyes turned slowly to look at Jaypaw, an interested expression on her face as she watched the tom approach the freshkill. Hmmm..seems Dark Forest material.. She thought, an invisible smirk plastered in her mind. Quite interesting, i'd say..haha.. Watching the cat closely, she didn't approach them, not yet anyway, she would have to wait. Temper. She thought, but that didn't really matter, now did it? No. It did not matter. As long as they weren't starclan supporters.

Timberpaw looked up at his friend, and then as quickly as he could he looked back down again. His whole body was telling him not to make eye contact, no matter how much he wanted to, no matter how nice he thought she was...he just shouldn't make eye contact. That was all there was to it. It was a simple thing, completely easy to do, no risk involved, as long as he didn't look directly at her so she could see the emotions within his green hues, he would be fine. And yet it seemed to happen before he could think, feel...do anything, really. All of a sudden he was looking directly at her and he sighed, the tip of his tail twitching before he put a soft smile on and licked his maw. "Hi," he mewed with a tight grin before going back to staring at the ground. So much for eye contact. So much for all of that. He was doing perfectly, keeping his eyes averted from her face, staying completely still so she wouldn't see him trembling- or if she did, perhaps she would think it was the wind. After another moment he shifted his weight and glanced back up at her again, silently berating himself but- of course- keeping it completely silent. What if he had been utterly and totally wrong? What if Apurva didn't like him, what if he made a fool of himself in front of her, what if there was some other tom that liked her as much- or more- then he did? Although he knew that was crazy.

Then again...was it? Apurva was certainly attractive, Timberpaw had noticed that upon their first meeting, but...was there a possibility that another cat truly liked her? Loved her, maybe? Cared about her as much as Timberpaw did, or only cared about her pretty pelt? He knew some cats were like that. And when he first met her he had been taken with her coloring and her piercing hues, but he had come to think that she was so much more then all that. "Cold?" He asked after a moment, his green hues looking over her with worry as he saw she did look a little cold. His own pelt wasn't exactly thick, but he could feel a warm inner glow coming from within him, making him comfortable and feel as though he could do almost anything. As long as he was around Aourva, he was happy...truly happy, the sort of happiness that he now knew didn't come from the satisfaction of just flirting. That was in the past.

Now he was looking forward to his future...with her.

Hawkfeather looked up in surprise at hearing a voice and glanced over, clearing her throat and shifting her weight a little as she did so, anxiety seeming to take over the young, pretty she cat. This wasn't like her at all, and if the tom in front of her had known this, he might have been a little more concerned. Hawkfeather sighed and stood up, position rigid and hues flashing with a semi-urgent message as though she wanted to talk to him through nothing but her mind. "Troubled? Me? Sorry, I'm just...thinking. About everything that's happened." She mewed with a sigh, looking more troubled then before. It was surprising seeing how quickly she had seemed to...well...change. What was wrong? What had happened? It was a hard to tell just from her expression, but Hawkfeather was worried. Terrified, even. For her Clan, for their future...there was so much to go wrong and she didn't feel as though there was much to go right. At least Gyrewind would soon be leader. All the other Clans have leaders now, don't they? She thought with a sigh. No matter. Gyrewind would be back from the Starcave soon and he would be Gyrestar then. She wondered if he had anyone in mind for Deputy. It could be Wrenclaw. Or this cat, whoever he is. Or Sagefrost. It definitely won't be me, and I don't want it to anyway! She thought. This was true...Hawkfeather, at her young age, thought nothing about power. It was surprising, really...she had never wanted to be leader, or deputy- though she had thought about Medicine Cats before, she had realized she didn't have the concentration, skill, talent or potential to be one. More like my mentor helped me realize, she thought with a snort. She had never liked the fierce, tough cat who had been so hard on her. And she definitely hadn't liked his son or daughter, both of whom would show up during training and make her life miserable.

She glanced hard at the tom in front of her, as though he were one of those particular cats and then shook her head. No- no, he was definitely not one of them and besides, wasn't it about time to move on from that? "It's Hawkfeather, by the way. My name I mean. Sorry, should've introduced myself earlier, might've been nice to know who I was before you got into a conversation with me, right? I could've been anyone! Could've been a loner, or a rogue, or- or the future deputy!" Hawkfeather mewed, showing a glimpse of her old, cheerful self. It was as though she couldn't help it. No matter what the situation, Hawkfeather just had to be happy about it and go around cheering everyone else up. It was what she loved. What she lived for, some might say. That, of course, wasn't true...Hawkfeather did many things, and she loved all of them. She grinned at the tom in front of her, a slight spark returning to her blue hues before that- and the smile- faded away, leaving her expression as it had been before.

A purr rose in Pricklepaw's throat. If she wasn't careful, the beetle was sure to be squished before they ever reached the tunnel entrance! At least she seemed to have worked out the right amount of pressure to put on it, although the apprentice still had an inkling of doubt the bug would survive. The poor thing was bound to be hurt after being dragged around like that.

As Honeykit dashed past, Pricklepaw pressed against the edge of the tunnel to let her through. He followed carefully in her pawsteps, jaws parted to taste the air. He didn't feel like coming out of here and running into one of the warriors... He was sure to have his ears clawed off if they found out where he and Honeykit had gone--even if they were still technically in the camp.

It was somewhat slow-going for the kitten, dragging an innocent bug across the dirt without completely killing it (although something in her head told her some of her clan-mates would be grossed out either way, if it was awake or asleep. She swatted that thought away with an imaginary paw). However, her work paid off in the end, the wind of leafbare and the sight of the camp a welcome sight to the ginger kitten. "Yay!" She chirped, looking back at Pricklepaw, who had graciously moved out of her path.

"We did it!" Honeykit said, somewhat oblivious to the dangers of proclaiming a discovery and half so loudly, around so many cats. Instead, she whirled her head around the clearing, scanning the mass of dirt and cats for another familiar face. With a flick of the tail, she continued shuffling towards camp. "Tumblepaw! I found something!" Honeykit turned to face Pricklepaw, then, saying, "That was so cool! Can we do it again?"

Mild anxiety flitted through the apprentice as Honeykit called out, his gaze darting around to make sure no senior warriors were around. Though he spotted none, his tail still twitched nervously and he had to squash any qualms with a mental paw. With a dip of his head, he licked the ginger she-kit's ear and gave his ascension.

"Of course!" he assured her, then lowered his voice to continue. "Just be sure not to tell the warriors about that little adventure, okay?" He'd really rather not get in trouble, however mild the infraction may be, and he didn't want her to get in trouble either. Then, with a flick of his tail, he turned, walked off towards the apprentices' den, and called back over his shoulder, Bye, Honeykit!"

She thought about the perfect life they were going to have together. How they were going to have kits, grow old together, and have gran kits. She closed her eyes and purred at the thought.
Foxclaw smiled once again, thinking of the future and the future only, until he went too far with his foreseeing... Shaking his head, he cleared his head of those thoughts and focused on the happy memories. He kept his mind busy on those while trying to think of something else to say when suddenly, he saw a brownish pelt that seemed to go past him. He blinked and the pelt was gone, in place, Burntwhisker. 'What was that?' he asked himself, unable to find the answer.

As Zerosight cleaned his nest, he tensed, his whole body going rigid at the kitten's words. He instantly went on the defensive. "I'm fine," He spoke, his voice once again cold. However, he was slightly relieved when the kitten quickly noticed their mistake and switched the subject. He went back to the apprentice, running his paws over her pelt to check for the straches. The medicine cat paused when he encountered a few, cursing his own thoughtlessness. He was so used to having Northpath as his eyes, to point out the things he hadn't checked for yet. Grabbing marigold, he began to chew it into a pulp and applied it onto the scratches. "Marigold, to keep infection away..." He muttered to himself under his breath.

Sitting right beside the Nursery, with a twig-thin tail wrapped around tiny paws, sat Mousekit, his hazel eyes fixed on the Medicine Cat's Den. His head, which looked nearly too big for his body, was positioned in such a way that it looked like he might fall on his face if he leaned forward any more, and his fur spiked with curiosity as he picked up on a few lingering scents.

"Nightbreeze?" he called out to his adoptive mother, wondering if she was around. He didn't see her from where he was, but his view of the Camp was obstructed by the wall of the Nursery he was sitting beside.

While waiting for her to respond, or to come into view, Mousekit closed his jaws and shuffled his paws. He often thought about his real mother, who he knew very well wasn't Nightbreeze. He knew that his mother had died giving birth to him, and that he was brought to ThunderClan before his eyes were even open. He also knew that he was, and still is, a sickly kit, born too early and deprived of food or warmth for StarClan knew how long, at least until Nightbreeze found him. He was smaller and weaker than his adopted siblings, and he got tired out very easily.

Shaking his large head to clear his mind, Mousekit settled down into a lying position, with one paw tucked under his chest and the other set gingerly on the dust, making paw-prints as he waited for Nightbreeze to respond, if she was around.

Leafkit woke with a yawn. She stretched her small body in an attempt to look like a warrior. She then let her blue eyes at the time (since they change color in the future) to scan the area. There were still some kits sleeping, but she didn't want to bother them. She sat down and began to groom her beautiful tortitshell pelt that she took so much pride in. The little she-kit then strutted out of the nursery trying to look like a proud warrior. However, she ended up putting a paw before the other causing her to trip.

When the female land on the ground she sniffled. She didn't like to look clumsy in front of others. However, she was just born clumsy. She had a kind and loving heart though. She looked around seeing a few cats stare at her. She gave them a shy, embarrassed smile, but she soon perked her ears at the call of another kit near by. Leafkit turned her head to see a dark, scruffy grey and white kit calling for his mother. Well, adopted mother. She had heard that there was a kit who had been adopted, but she had never laid eyes upon him. She smiled, and waddled over to him. "Hello," she mewed kindly toward. She wiggled her nose sniffing his pelt like warriors did when they greeted each other to memorize the other's scent.

Nightbreeze was somewhat startled by the call. She heard it through the barrier of the nursery walls, even if they were really thick. She exited rather quickly, wondering who it was and why she was needed. She poked her ebony colored head from the nursery and peered around. She couldn't identify the sound of the muffled voice upon looking at the cats in the clearing. The nursery wall blocked her view from reaching her newest kit, and newest addition to her family. She was about to go back inside, thinking that it was Storkpaw or someone tricking her again. She inhaled for a sigh when Mousekit's scent flooded her nostrils. She stopped and padded out, following the scent of the small kit. Upon seeing him she smiled warmly down at him and purred, nuzzling her muzzle against his cheek. "What is it my dear?" she purred softly, lowering her long black body to the ground to gaze eye to eye with her kit. "I heard your call, what is it you need?" she asked softly.

"Nightbreeze, what are all those scents coming from the Medicine Cat's Den?" he asked first. Then, he twitched an ear. "I know they're herbs, but what kind? Does Zerosight know what all of them do? Has he used them all before?"

Even though Mousekit was a very timid little tom, he felt comfortable around his adoptive mother, of course, and he found it the easiest to ask her questions or share his concerns. He twitched his ear yet again, a habit he had picked up, and curled his tail around his tiny paws again. His hazel gaze was fixed on Nightbreeze, but a quiet "hello" jerked Mousekit out of his trance and he turned to see another kit, who looked much healthier and bigger than he was.

"H-hello." he murmured, noticeably more timid than he had been while talking to Nightbreeze. He didn't say anything more; he preferred unfamiliar cats drive the conversation so he didn't accidentally offend them.

He didn't know why, but whenever a cat got too close, he had a bit of a fear they were going to bite or claw at him.

When she pulled away, he forced his pelt to lie flat, since it was still spiky from a few moments earlier. "I like the smells that come from the den, they're all really different." he meowed. "It's so cool that Zerosight gets to live there and work with all the herbs and heal cats... it's definitely better than fighting."

The little tom did not want to be a Warrior at all. The very thought of sliding his claws out and coming into contact with another cat's pelt sent shivers down his spine, and the thought of getting injured by his own kind made him nervous. Shouldn't the Clans just get along? Mousekit didn't know why they always had to fight, but he knew he didn't want to be a part of it. Now, Mousekit knew that he had awhile to go before he even had to think about training; he was just barely three moons, and he was content to watch what was going on in Camp, or play a game that didn't require play-fighting or anything too strenuous. A nice game of Catch the Moss Ball kept him occupied these days, rather than hunting and patrolling as well as training.

"When do you start your training?" Mousekit asked. He wasn't certain of how old Leafkit was.

Nightbreeze smiled warmly. "It's quite alright my dear." she purred flicking her long fluffy black tail around the tiny kit. "I love to see that you're making friends." she said. "But back to your question you asked..." she said. Her green hues turned to the medicine den. She had only been in there once before, during her first kitting. She had had problems with milk so she had gone to Zerosight for help. "There's many herbs in there. If you sniff hard enough you may be able to smell it. They smell sour and bitter, much like they taste. It's where Zerosight and Northpa-" she stopped herself, remembering that Northpath had died in the Evil Era protecting his Clan. "He has an Apprentice, right?" Mousekit asked, his shoulders drooping a bit. Perhaps he would have to train as a Warrior... He shook the thought away. He had a long time to build up strength and stamina. Perhaps he would end up being one of the strongest cats in ThunderClan.

But I still don't want to hurt other cats. he thought miserably. He looked up at Nightbreeze again and tilted his head. "Can he have more than one?"

KitKat12;

Tumblepaw was dozing off when he heard a familiar voice call his name. His ears pricked up and he cracked open his yellow eyes to see a young ginger she-cat.

Weaselcloud flicked his tail and opened his amber eyes. He got up and stretched, ending with a yawn. I don't want to get up yet, im too tired! Trying to complete his unspoken wailing like a kit was hard. It was even harder when he had tried hunting for a lot longer than he should have the other day. Given the fact that he vowed to get a little more exercise, he rolled over and sprang to his paws. With a sway of his tail, he began to stroll outside of the den and into camp.

Leafkit bounded out of the nursery only to be welcome by dirt in her face as she tripped and slid to a hault. She always did that ever time she came out of the nursery. She sniffled as she got up and shook her pelt. She licked her nose as she looked around with her blue orbs. She didn't see Mousekit anywhere, so she decided to make a new friend. May be an apprentice! She had watched the apprentices play fight and train in the clearing sometimes longing to be like them. She only had 3 moons left till then. She smiled at the thought.

{So Incredibly Sorry ;w; }
Jaypaw felt eyes boring into his fur as he hobbled over to the freshkill pile, something cold, sinister, absolutely evil. He turned his blue hues upon what seemed like a grumpy, sour looking molly, which in turn made him feel more sour. He narrowed his eyes at Mossdrop and lashed his tail annoyance radiating off of the young silver tom, he didn't know why, but just the look on her face annoyed him, it seemed as though she had his future all planed out for him, but then again he wasn't fully awake in the morning, he guessed he was just imagining things "What do you want, or do you always just stare randomly at others when they grab something to eat?" he questioned, noting but snarkyness dripped from the words he spoke to his senior, and honestly he didnt really have patience for it at the moment.

( its fine ;w; )
Seems like someone was in a bad mood, and so was Mossdrop, slightly. "Quite disrespectful to snap at someone a higher rank than you." She spoke, rather calmly, but with a bit of a temper on the edge of her tone. She wasn't in the mood for snarky, sarcastic sneers, and seemly ignored the tone in his words. She worked up a convincing proposal rather quickly, and convincingly, a devious plan on the horizon, that no cat knew about, or could see in her fake emotions. "I suppose you don't want this good offer I have for you, an opportunity I'm sure you'd like to have. You want to be a good warrior, do you not?" She gave a question right back to Jaypaw, a small smirk on her face, rather invisible, and a roll of her eyes, a huff escaping her, cold, yellow optics almost staring into his soul. This was easy as catching a mouse for Mossdrop, an easy catch, to say the least.

Honeykit giggled, unable to hold back her excitement, saying, "Here it is!" She opened up her paws. Out of her hold came a small, black bug, which jumped a mouse-length in the air. Honeykit yelped, scrambling backwards with her tail erect. Before the ginger cat could re-capture it, however, the bug skittered off with the speed of a creature who'd been trapped for what felt like an eternity. For a moment, the kit almost looked disappointed, ears folding back slightly. Luckily it didn't last too long. "Oh! Yeah, it was so much fun!

Apurva looked away from him, keeping her eyes focused on anything else, but not him. Picking straight down, she stared down at her paws, wondering if she'd been wrong. What if it was all her own misunderstanding, and she would never belong. It'd certainly been a long time for her to even have a chance a joining ThunderClan, as she'd already been here for the death hof two leaders, and she was still Apurva, not actually an apprentice in a Clan. Although she couldn't wait, she was nervous about it, because she knew that some cats could be… strict… about origin and birthplace, as if where they're born is who they are, and who they will always be. It wasn't, and she knew that, but some cats seemed not to. Apurva flicked her tail, refocusing on what was going on around her and slowly looking up as Timberpaw spoke to her. “Hi.” she said, trying to keep the tremble out of her voice, but still, it trembled in a slight, barely noticeable way. She sighed quietly, studying him for any sign that she'd been wrong this entire time, but, upon seeing none, or at least mistaking it for something else, a flicker of hope entered her heart. She couldn't help but wonder though, was it all wrong? She wondered if she would even ever truly belong here, no matter how much others tried to help her fit in. Apurva hoped that she had been right to come here. It was certainly better than being a loner, as here, she had friends. It was definitely worth it, so how could it be wrong. Looking down at her paws, she kept her gaze off of her reason for coming here. She didn't want him to see the doubt that glittered in her bright green hues, or the uncertainty at coming here, to ThunderClan. It just seemed... too weird right now, everything all muddled together and confused. The strong, mingling scents that had once made her wrinkle her nose had become regular and barely noticeable to her now, and that d taken quite some time, as it hadn't been easyto get used to it, even if is seemed as if it should simple and easy, it took some getting used to.

Returning her attention to the brown tabby tom, she flicked an ear, peering at with both caution and curiosity. The caution was new, but only because she was afraid that she was wrong about him, about everything. She hoped she wasn't, and even more so as the warmth returned and she looked away, her fur prickling with discomfort. She wanted it to leave her, and, flattening her ears as the heat reached them, she stared at the snow between her paws, trying to think only of it in order to eliminate the uncomfortable warmth that spread beneath her long, thin fur. She looked back at him, but carefully avoiding eye contact for fear that she would see one of the the things she feared she would in them, even though everything rational told her that she wouldn't, Apurva couldn't help but not want to know. Yes, she was curious, but she also didn't want to know. It was rather complicated to put things straightforward more.

Bluejay tilted his head to the side, annoyance began to blossom within the tom, "Instead of worrying about what's happened, you should worry about what you're going to do. Don't get hung up on the past." he snorted, he detested cats who worried about the past, but he hated cats who didn't do anything about it even more. He sat himself down with a huff and wapped is tail around his paws, his fur was an absolute mess, tufts sticking out in different directions, mud caked his paws sides, and how he managed to get mud all over him, only Starclan knows. He noticed her forced joy, that smile, it was true, but only for a few moments until both the light in her blue hues, and that smile, faded. It made his heart ache, the pain and confusion evident in her features, it made feel her pain for a few moments, but only a few.
His whiskers quivered, unsure of what to say, of what to do, he wanted to help her, make her fell happy, safe, but he didn't even understand his own feelings, so how could he help her with hers? He gave her a smile, not forced, or strained, pure, joyous, "well, It's nice to meet you Hawkfeather, My name's Bluejay. And I wouldn't have treated you any differently if you had a big nasty scar on your face, and if you were deputy." he stated, his tail tip flicked back and fourth, the word 'loner' sent a chill down his spine, and awful memories, fire, death, he hated the word, but it was what he was, well, part of what he was, and he hated it. His blue hues danced with pain and longing, but he pushed the memories away, focusing on the troubled she cat in front of him. He rolled over onto his back and let out a long sigh, tiredness sweeping over him once more, he really wanted to take a nap, but he also didn't want to leave Hawkfeather alone, he felt a pull twards the molly, a strong pull. "hmm So why did you get the name Hawkfeather?" he asked, he still didn't truly understand the reason behind the naming, he's watched his sister's warrior ceremony, but no matter how many times he's watched the naming ceremonies, Wingdrop, his sister, has explained it multiple times, but it never really clicked, but maybe the molly in front of him may be better at explaining than others.

Storkpaw's bright blue eyes landed in a fellow apprentice. He out on his normal, sly smile and approached the feline. His white and black tabby striped pelt glistened in the warm sunlight that battered down into the clearing. "Hello!" He meowed, his voice light and cheerful. "I couldn't help but noticing you looked...well..lonely. The name's Storkpaw." He said, his tone casual.

"I'm glad you had fun," Tumblepaw purred. He stood up. "You wanna go play moss ball?" Even though the grey tom was still a little tired, his nap had restored some of his energy and he wanted a chance to play with his sister.

"Yeah, it was so cool! It's so cool you're an apprentice too, you get to explore and go out and see new things too! Must be so much fun." Honeykit chirped, bouncing up and down a few times before stopping still on the dirt, watching her brother's rising form with curiosity. Was he going to show her a new place? Was he going to leave? Turns out both conclusions were wrong. Somehow, the grin spread across her muzzle widened, showing off her small, sharp teeth. The ginger kit leaped off the ground in excitement, prancing around Tumblepaw, fur sticking out in different directions. "Oh my gosh-- yes! Let's go!"

"Hi," he greeted the shekit, his confidence melting away to leave a nervous meow. His paws kicked up a bit of dirt when he'd skidded to a halt.

"Hi" Spottedkit said exited when she found someone to talk to.

Hawkfeather seemed to have forgotten all about her worries upon entering a conversation: it had been a while. Besides, still being young and not quite understanding all the 'ways of the world' just yet, she cocked her head to the side when the older tom spoke. "Huh? Oh yeah, yeah, I agree, absolutely, right," She mewed quickly, nodding her head. In reality she had no idea what he was talking about. She just liked to pretend she did, it made her feel more in control of the conversation. She glanced at him, to see if he would believe her or if he thought she was a complete lunatic. Probably the second one, with her expertise. She would end up getting pegged as a lunatic and he would walk away, never to be seen again. Either that or she would have made an enemy, which she did not want. Anything was better then an enemy. A friend, a partner, a companion...someone who didn't like her but tolerated her...anything! She glanced almost pleadingly at the tom as though asking him to forgive her for her silly, naïve nature.
The light had returned to her blue hues and she laughed, a light, airy sound that seemed to fit her very well. "Really? What if both my eyes were scratched out and I was stumbling around and couldn't see anything? What if I were the leader? Have you ever met him? Do you know what he looks like?" She asked. Appearances were something that Hawkfeather learned could easily be tweaked. As were first impressions. She wasn't sure what this cat had thought of her when he had first approached, but she was pretty sure what he was thinking now: Oh StarClan, what have I gotten into? It was the same thing that she could tell on every expression, but Bluejay seemed to be more friendly. Like Wrenclaw. He hadn't treated her like she was crazy, or stupid...he had treated her like a friend. Something she was thankful for. She hadn't seen her best friend around in a while, and wondered what had happened to him. Last she had heard he had ran off with some she cat, gotten rejected, come back to his old mate and gotten rejected again. Poor Wrenclaw. And his poor mate- or ex-mate, actually, too! She didn't deserve that. But...he was just confused. He needs help. Hawkfeather thought with a sigh, curling her tail more tightly around herself. "Anyways, it's nice to meet'cha too, Bluejay!" Hawkfeather mewed, her tail twitching back and forth as she gave him a bright, friendly smile.
"Okay, so when I came to the Clan- or was found, more like- my name was Hawke. I was a loner. Had been living on my own, trying to teach myself the ways of the world, so to speak, and to put things simply I wasn't doing too good. I was pretty sickly, and weak... again, wasn't doing too good. So ThunderClan took me in, gave me the name Hawkkit, and from then on I grew up here: Hawkpaw, and finally Hawkfeather. Oh yeah, I don't really know why I ended up being Hawkfeather...thought I'd have a cool name like Hawkcry, or Hawkglide, or Hawkeye...y'know, something real neat, but I ended up with Hawkfeather. Guess it's cause my pelt is super soft, feels really good...here, I'll show you!" Hawkfeather mewed, getting up and brushing against the tom in a friendly manner, a smile still on her maw. Physical contact was no big deal to Hawkfeather. She found it an extra-friendly way of expressing thanks, or greetings, or appreciative gestures. She stepped back, blue hues gleaming as she glanced at Bluejay with an expectant look in her eyes, head cocked sideways.
"So? What do you think?" She asked, a quivering note in her voice as though she were nervous he might be angry with her for making physical contact. She didn't see the big deal, but he might.

Timberpaw looked at his friend, remembering everything that they had done together. Meeting in the territory...helping in the fire...he remembered the flood of emotions that he had felt that awful day, when the fire had started...and now they were safe. ThunderClan was under a new rule, one that Apurva could feel proud to live under. But was she okay? Had he frightened her with their intimate encounter the other day? Did she frighten me? He wondered, realizing that his own heart was pounding inside of his chest. He shrugged it off as the familiar feelings he had had the other day with her. "So what's been happening? I mean, when's your ceremony going to be? You're staying in ThunderClan, aren't you? You've done so much to help, we could use a good cat like you, and I- we all need you." Timberpaw mewed, wondering exactly who he meant by all. Sure, ThunderClan could always use another good apprentice and hopefully she would be a warrior not too long after- with her determination she would. At least he hoped so.
He realized with a sting of embarrassment he had almost said the fateful words 'I need you.' He wasn't sure whether that would have been the greatest thing to say, but perhaps she would have been fine with it. If she were having those same feelings, then he...well...what could they do? Neither one knew what was going on. Both of them were clueless. This was horrible! The absolute worst thing that could happen. And then again...maybe it wasn't. Maybe this was good. He wasn't quite sure what to say to Apurva now, he wished that she would remember how much fun the two of them had had. He didn't like the feeling that she was nervous around him, like she felt he was...someone else. Somehow her expression reminded him of the look on many she cat's faces when he attempted to be friendly. He wasn't quite sure what he thought of it.
Why does she seem so...distant? Nervous? Worried? Oh, I should um, maybe, uh, do...something? He thought, shifting his weight uncomfortably as he did so. He licked his maw, an uncomfortable expression on his features. "Are you cold?" He asked, glancing over at her. He knew his short pelt would be less warm then her thick, pretty one, but he supposed it was probably just the thought that counted. He shifted his weight, anxiety rushing through him as he looked at her. He wasn't sure what to do, or say...he knew that things had changed between them. And that they would never be the same again. There was no way that he could get rid of these feelings, not in his mind and not at the moment...was there? He wouldn't give up his friend for anything in the world. But these feelings were definitely beginning to get to him and make him more uncomfortable. Make him feel like he couldn't- or wouldn't- stay away from her.

Mousekit listened intently, his ears pointed forward as he drank in every word Nightbreeze said. It sounded so interesting, and he liked the thought of healing cats rather than hurting them.

The silver tom lashed his tail, annoyance began to fade away once he actually began to wake up, and just began to realize who he was talking to. Emberassment rushed over the apprentice, he turned his starling blue hues down to his paws "A-ah I apologize, I'm not usually myself in the morning, I didn't mean to be rude." he stuttered, guilt blossomed in his soul, he talked so rudely to a higher up, how awful. Upon hearing Mossdrops proposal his ears flicked, curiosity got the best of him, he wanted to know, though usually he would turn it down, he had an amazing mentor, Mapledash taught him almost everything, well, he did, up untill they got into a fight, but he couldn't help it, he wanted to know, he hat to know. " I would like to be a good warrior...but I'd have to hear your offer first before I go making deals."
he quipped, quite pleased with himself at the from the pit up, bold, open minded, yet stern, exactly what he wanted to be like. Though his words dripped with intelligence and athority, his blue hues danced with curiosity and adventure, he was too Warriorlike at such a Youngblood age, and though he acted older than what he actually was most of the time, he still had that pull, that desire to know everything, that thirst of knowledge through experience, that curiosity is what always got him in trouble, and he had a feeling that this time wasn't any different.

She rested her head on the cool, forest floor and closed her eyes. She had made progress on her training. Although, it was only one kill, it was a big accomplishment for little Mistpaw. So that's where they get it from... also, you're really fast, maybe one day we can have a race!" She jumped up and then bounced over to her brother, watching him construct the moss-ball with big green eyes. So carefully, so... detailed! Although she wasn't totally aware of why he was trying to be so accurate, she meowed out a cheer anyway once he finished. Her past observation was quickly dismissed as Tumblepaw held the mossball up. (I think we should have this where they already know each other, that way we can go ahead and start developing it- xD Falcon's going to have some major anger issues after all this is over haha)
Falconclaw sat in the clearing, the brown tabby staying to one side. He wasn't quite sure what to do with himself at the moment...everything seemed to be a blur inside his head. Getting slowly to his paws, the tom gave an experimental shake of his head before moving onwards, grumbling about irresponsible apprentices before he headed towards the fresh kill pile. He hadn't seen Spottedsong in a while. Where was she? He didn't know. To him, it seemed like she was always missing...and Falconclaw was getting tired of wondering where she was, what she was doing, and stuff like that. He deserved to know- right? In his opinion, clanmates shouldn't have secrets.
Not unless it was personal like, family personal. And even then, why would you want to keep it a secret? I'm sure Ratnight would have been understanding had these mousebrains not kept secrets. He thought with a snarl. Falconclaw hadn't minded it under Ratnight's rule, but apparently someone had because suddenly there were strangers saying they were 'SkyClan' and fighting for StarClan. Delusional, more like, he thought with a snort. Things were back to normal now...well, almost normal. Gyrewind would be back soon and would be Gyrestar, and ThunderClan would have a new leader. A new Deputy. Who that might be, Falconclaw wasn't sure, but he wanted to believe that it might be him. Certainly he wouldn't appoint a foolish cat as Deputy.
Falconclaw wondered how the other Clans were getting along. Last time at the Gathering, Ashstar and Dapplestar hadn't been there, so Gyrewind and Blazingstorm had taken their places. Did WindClan have a new leader as well? Had Dapplestar died with Ashstar? Falconclaw had no idea, and he had no hard proof that they had died...but a leader would never abandon their Clan. Not unless they were forced to, anyways. Falconclaw settled down near the fresh kill pile, thinking about grabbing something from it and then second-guessing it. No; he really wasn't that hungry and besides, he would much prefer to wait for Spottedsong to return so he could interrogate her.

The warrior looked back up at Falconclaw. He was brave, ambitious, and a true warrior. Her best freind. A very promising cat to be deputy; if he becomes my mate I will never be doubted again. Id be a leaders mate, I would have more power than anyone else. But do I loved him? Falconclaw is my best freind, but would I love him. Briar was speechless when I told him. Spotted sing looked up at him, waiting for an answer.

Falconclaw glanced up at Spottedsong, and forgot about his interrogation. Really. That cat. He thought semi-fondly, his tail twitching back and forth as he looked at his best friend. "Spottedsong. I've been better, a little tired, perhaps working a bit too hard...but I'm doing alright. And yourself?" He asked, looking politely at her. Besides, he couldn't just launch a full investigation right in the middle of the Clearing. She had an odd scent on her, one that definitely wasn't ThunderClan...Falconclaw's hues narrowed and he looked at the she cat suspiciously before his eyes softened a moment later. He definitely had a soft spot for Spottedsong.
There was no denying it; but why, exactly, was uncertain. Maybe it was the fact that Spottedsong reminded the tom so much of himself. She was loyal, fierce...a cat that he believed he could trust. He wished she would trust him with her secrets, with wherever she went and whoever she was seeing- it wouldn't matter to him. He supposed it was a sibling, for who would fall in love with a cat from another clan? Certainly not Spottedsong...right? Or a loner, StarClan forbid, he thought with his muzzle wrinkling in disgust. In Falconclaw's opinion, there was nothing worse then a loner. Well, maybe a Dusk Syndicate cat...but other then that, nothing.
Not even those cats who had 'liberated' ThunderClan from Ratnight. How had that happened? How had so many cats taken their side? Falconclaw would always fight for ThunderClan, no matter what. That was why he didn't waste time in having a forbidden friendship- a forbidden love. There was no point in growing attached to someone only to have their claws in your throat the next day. He knew Spottedsong felt the same way. It was how they had become friends- through common interests. He liked Spottedsong a lot. He might even love her. But he wasn't sure- there was no way to be sure. "You've been awfully busy lately. Feels like it's been moons since I've seen you," Falconclaw chuckled, half-hinting at his suspicion but not coming right out with it. He couldn't do that. It would frighten her before he got a chance to even begin.
Then again, Spottedsong wasn't scared of much. It was one of the things Falconclaw liked about her- just another way they were similar. Didn't she want power? Didn't she support him, wasn't she loyal to ThunderClan? However, Falconclaw had never actually seen what side she had been fighting on during the ThunderClan attack...and now he was growing suspicious. What had she done? Had she fought against her own clanmates? Her leader? Though Falconclaw had been fighting for his Clan, he had never struck at a ThunderClan cat. He would never injure a clanmate.
No matter what they had done.

The silver tom lashed his tail, annoyance began to fade away once he actually began to wake up, and just began to realize who he was talking to. Embarrassment rushed over the apprentice, he turned his starling blue hues down to his paws "A-ah I apologize, I'm not usually myself in the morning, I didn't mean to be rude." he stuttered, guilt blossomed in his soul, he talked so rudely to a higher up, how awful. Upon hearing Mossdrop's proposal his ears flicked, curiosity got the best of him, he wanted to know, though usually he would turn it down, he had an amazing mentor, Mapledash taught him almost everything, well, he did, up until they got into a fight, but he couldn't help it, he wanted to know, he had to know. " I would like to be a good warrior...but I'd have to hear your offer first before I go making deals."
he quipped, quite pleased with himself at the from the pit up, bold, open minded, yet stern, exactly what he wanted to be like. Though his words dripped with intelligence and authority, his blue hues danced with curiosity and adventure, he was too Warriorlike at such a Youngblood age, and though he acted older than what he actually was most of the time, he still had that pull, that desire to know everything, that thirst of knowledge through experience, that curiosity is what always got him in trouble, and he had a feeling that this time wasn't any different.

An amused expression piled up on her face, though she was...merely faking it, but no cat could tell, unless you were emotionless yourself. Hmm, boldness, that will do greatly. But if he goes against any cat in the dark forest, he'll have some dying words to give. She thought, she wasn't really that emotionless, but had no empathy for others, she pretended to be happy or sad, one would never know what she's actually feeling, or really thinking, unless you were her yourself. It's alright, but next time think before you speak." Mossdrop told him, an annoyed glint in her eye as she looked right at him. I'd of killed him on spot, but theirs no time for bloodshed in the middle of camp, to an apprentice no less. But, he needs to hold his tonque, unless he wants a little wound on his little shoulder...hmm.
"A good choice you have made." She mused, eyes gleaming as she gave another question in the mix, she was satisfied with their answer. "You do not believe in Starclan..yes?" She gave a nod, she knew this fair and well, so there was no need for him to answer. "Well, they are just pathetic myths, just as you have told yourself, they are not real, just something made up, a story, nothing more.." Needed to give this young apprentice some truth in the lives, they need for their training. "Now...for my proposal." She didn't move an inch while telling this, standing still, telling him this. No cat was around at this time, some were out training, or patrol, and others were in their dens, sleeping. A perfect opportunity had been spotted when she saw Jaypaw, a perfect candidate, a perfect moment, and she was gonna take it. "I am able to give you a chance of your lifetime, to train with the best of the best, and become the great warrior you will be, in time." She paused, eyes gleaming as she stared right into the eyes. "Do you agree?"

Mistpaw nodded and headed towards the shade of a tree where she lied down. She stared lazily at the freshkill pile. She sighed. She felt content knowing she had made her first kill. She rested her head on the cool, forest floor and closed her eyes. She had made progress on her training. Although, it was only one kill, it was a big accomplishment for little Mistpaw. Mistpaw opened her eyes, only a few mintutes had passed, it felt like much longer though. Mistpaw got up and walked over to Oakclaw, hoping to resume training.
Oakclaw saw his apprentice walk over to him. He turned to look at Airspirit. "I hope to talk to you later, Airspirit.", he said, walking with his apprentice back to the entrance of camp.

Spottedkit giggled and rolled it back.

Honeykit lowered her hind-leg in a fake (awful) crouching position, giving a cheeky grin. "Ready!"

"Maybe we can race when you become an apprentice," he mewed and held the moss ball high. He purred in amusement when he saw her attempts at a crouch. He flicked his paw and sent the moss ball flying high. "Get it!" he exclaimed. Tumblepaw felt a flicker of doubt that she would be able to jump from that crouch, but pushed it away, knowing she would figure something out. She was his sister after all. Gazing at Honeykit, he felt warmth bloom in his chest and he smiled affectionately, glad that he had a sister like her.

He got up and arched his back in a streach.
"Hello, Good morning is it?" He purred.
He remembered something, this is what.
He was a little afraid to tell her how he felt for her. The truth is, He never knew his father. But the only thing he knew was that his father made a mistake. A mistake that cost him his life. Getting with a cat.
Jaymist remembered the day his mother died. His father was there, just standing there. A gaze was burning in his eyes.
"His mistake is that he should have been with a different cat. Minnowshine. They loved eachother"
His mother told him when he was a kit.
But his father, he loved Shallowstreak. But, after that, he had to leave. he didnt want poor Jaykit. So, he left. Shallowstreak had saved Jaypaw on his first day as an apperentice. They saw a hurt cat on the Thunder Path and they grabbed her. The strangers kits were on the thunderpath to. Shallowstreak ran over and got them. One was dead and the other three was alive but weak. Jaypaw started to head over for the other kit. His mother blocjed him. She said
"ill go"
like, sge knew she was going to die. She went back for the other kit. But, that was the dead one. She grabbed it and started to walk over. They heard a noise and a huge monster was driving and it hit her. It drove away. Jaypaw was helpless. His father jumped on the thunderpath and grabbed his mother. He brought him over to Thunderclan side.
"Bring Shallowstreak back to your camp with this rouge. And her kits. Im Darkmist. Warrior of Shadowclan, Tell your leader ill be telling my leader of your warrior death." He had said. He bounded back across and dissapered behind the pines.

Jaypaw dragged them over behind ferns and ran back to camp covered in blood. His sister, Mintblossom ran over.
"What happenes?!? Weres mom?!? Is she ok!?!"
"no. .She got hit. . hit by a monster. . We saved a cat. . I hid her so i could get help! We need to get her!" He ran out. Mintblossom followed. Vixenclaw followed to.
Then, they got there. Mother was laying there. Blood scorched her fur likr fire. The rouge was curled in a ball with her kits. Horror filled her gaze.
"Im sorry. ."
she wailed.
"My kit. .shes gone. . I cant find her. ."
Jaypaw moved ferns to reveal a pile of dirt and a hole. The rouge ran over and looked in the hole. "Shes dead?"
" im sorry. .I put roses on her. . I liked her fur clean and smoothened her whiskers for you. . I left it unburied so you could-"
Mibtblossom cut in
"-say goodbye."
They all headed back to camp. The kits were on Jaypaws back, Shallowstreak was on Vixenclaws back, and the rouge was on Mintblossoms shoulder.
They reached camp and Vixenclaw put her down. The other two brought them to the medician cats den.
Later that night his sister was on guard. A cat killed her. but before, she shreiked.
That scarred him for life.

He stopped, trying not to remember. He looked at Turtlestrike. Then tears came down his cheeks. They were falling slowly, but it felf like forever.

With almost unholy speed, she shook herself off, and raised her body up, paws stretched upwards. The moss-ball bounced off her paws and onto the ground. "Whoops!" She giggled, padding up to the ball and swatting it up off the dirt towards Tumblepaw. "Catch it, catch it!"

Falconclaw looked thoughtful as he glanced at Spottedsong, thinking for a moment. It had been a while since he had seen any loners on the territory...and he wasn't sure when the last time he had seen any aggressive loner. Most of them just ran away. Is she...lying to me? Falconclaw thought, narrowing his eyes as he examined the she cat. As far as he knew, Spottedsong would never lie to him. They were best friends! Whatever was going on, she could tell him...but apparently she didn't want to. Besides, maybe that was really what had happened. She smelled a little like a loner, it could've happened by her fighting one...Falconclaw relaxed and smiled at his friend, though his hues showed his suspicion a little too clearly, perhaps, for her to be comfortable. He wasn't at all sure that she was telling him the truth here, but she had never lied to him before...
"Just an aggressive loner, huh? Well, I'm sure you gave him something to remember you by. He won't be coming around ThunderClan anytime soon...not with our greatest warrior against him," Falconclaw purred in pleasure, the tip of his tail twitching back and forth as he smiled at Spottedsong. He was definitely suspicious of her, but he wasn't quite sure how to carry out an investigation against her without her getting upset at him for 'following her.' Besides, if this was private, there was no need for him to get involved. She could handle it and, if she needed help, she knew to come to him...right? Surely she wasn't afraid to come to him. He wouldn't hurt her, or whoever it was that she was afraid- or too stubborn- to tell him about. That's the problem. She's going to overthink this, and get in trouble...Falconclaw thought angrily.
His hues narrowed as he stared at the cat he believed to be his friend. He had known her for a while. They had been through so much together, and yet sometimes it felt as though he were meeting her for the first time all over again. "Now, Spottedsong....we need to respect our new leader. Just because he took the leadership from someone who was trying to help us is no reason to be disrespectful. And besides, we should be loyal to ThunderClan. They are going to need warriors who are not weak or afraid to fight. We should respect Gyrestar- he is our rightful leader, after all. Besides, if we show our appreciation for him, no one will remember that we fought against their precious StarClan in an attempt to do the right thing." Falconclaw smiled, although there was a malicious gleam in his hues as he did so.
He didn't look at all the picture of innocence. Perhaps that was because he truly wasn't...Falconclaw would never harm a clanmate, but that didn't mean that there weren't other ways to get rid of enemies. He had nothing against the soon-to-be Gyrestar in particular- what was there to have against him? After all, the future leader would pick a deputy, wouldn't he? Falconclaw wasn't sure who might be deputy, but he was hoping for it to either be him or someone who wasn't weak. Like Spottedsong. She was loyal, she had chased a loner off by herself, sent him running even though he had fought- Falconclaw admired her for that, among other things. She would also make a good deputy. But, this decision wasn't up to him...Gyrestar was the one who would be leader and he would choose a deputy that he thought was up to the task. Right? Surely he knows how to make the Clan strong...Falconclaw thought, a hint of doubt entering his mind about the new leader for the first time.

Owlpaw sat in the camp. Her bones were healed, though she'd be an apprentice forever probably, she couldn't walk right and it was a struggle anyhow, she stuck to doing apprentice duties, her mentor didn't blame her, he mostly thought she was scared of being assaulted in the territory again. I wish I could walk normal and chase my friends... after her friends became warriors they seemed to ditch her and move on forgetting about her and spent all there time having fun doing usual warrior things, completely ignoring her, it felt.
Ferngaze softly glanced at Owlpaw with a pitiful glance I wish you were a warrior Owlpaw, warriors can't be friends with apprentices.
Rosefern sighed idling past Owlpaw Why did you have to break your leg...now we can't be friends

At the flick of his paw, Honeykit clenched her teeth and tried to leap upwards, adrenaline and excitement causing her fur to stand up on end. Unfortunately, the way she positioned herself during her 'hunting crouch' caused her to slip up, with her left hind-leg snagged against a stray tree-branch. Honeykit yelped.

As Honeykit leaped, Tumblepaw knew she wouldn't make it. He was surprised though when she leaped back up after her fall and touched the moss-ball with the tip of her paws. "Nice jump!" he praised as he quickly batted the returning ball away. As it sailed across the ground, he made a mental note to teach her the hunting crouch.

Cold, white snow was left with paw shaped indents as a snow-white she-cat made her way through the entrance to the camp, a deceased mouse clamped firmly between her jaws. She made her way to the fresh-kill pile, dropping the rodent on top, before giving her pelt a shake. She was thankful not only for a mostly white coat, save for the splash of gray on her face, that made good camouflage in leaf-bare, but also that it was quite thick fur, which helped keep her a little more warm. She was still quite chilly, though, and she felt bad for cats with thinner fur. Cloudedsky gave a little shiver, wondering if she should head for the Warriors Den or not. I may have a thick coat, but that certainly doesn't help my paw pads, she thought.

Briarbranch emerged from the warriors den with a long stretch, her limps and claws extending for a moment as her tail swept across the ground. She opened her green eyes a bit more, and they widened when she saw Cloudedsky, her heart beated faster in excitement.
"Cloudedsky!" the shecat mewed happily. A soft, warm smile was across her face as she reunited with the other cat again.
It had been awhile since they spoke, awhile since they had gone tree climbing together that one sunset. She remembered how close they sat on the branches, and her helping Cloud to climb a tree. She remembered how pretty the sky reflected off of her white and grey pelt and the memories flooded back to her all over again.

Cloudedsky's attention was caught immediately by someone calling out her name, and she looked towards the Warrior's Den, where the meow came from. Her pelt heated a bit as she caught sight of the source: Briarbranch. It had been awhile since they spoke, but Cloudedsky remembered everything about their encounter that evening.
Every moment, from talking to Briarbranch in the camp, to the other she-cat helping her and giving her encouragement to help her get over her nervousness and climb the tree, to sitting closely on a branch. She remembered stealing glances at Briarbranch as they watched that sunset, and how her pelt always seemed to be warmer with her around, and how magnificent her eyes had looked in the lighting of the golden light cast by the descending sun.
"Briarbranch!" She exclaimed, hurrying over to her; once she reached the other cat, her pelt heated even more at her outburst. "I-It's been too long. I haven't seen you in quite awhile," she quickly put in.

She could feel her pelt get warm herself just by hearing the others soft voice again,so sweet, sweet to her ears that she could listen to it all day. This past while has just been so chaotic, I doubt anyone had time for catching up. I'm just glad those bad times are over, and we can catch up again. She didn't want the larger she-cat to feel bad, especially over her. She was sure the tabby had had better, more important things to do during the Era than having a casual conversation with a cat, let alone Cloudedsky. She was glad the Evil Era was over. She certainly did miss talking to Briarbranch.

The silver apprentice narrowed his eyes upon the older mollys statement, it was true he didn't really believe that Starclan existed, it was never proven,a sniff it was, he never saw it, he only thought that it was a reason to cause bloodshed, a reason to kill those they despise, an excuse. He nodded his head in agreement, he drank in the Warriors words, taking every single syllable to heart, every vowel, every consonant, and buried them deep within his soul, to him, it seemed as though someone had finally shed some light within his dark heart, at she did, but at Thebes same time, though he didn't know it, the molly was plauging his soul. His blue hues danced with excitement and uncertainty when she began to state her..."proposal" he felt nauseous, terrified, like something darker, more...evil lurked behind Mossdrops words, but at the sameness time he was joyous, thrilled, determined, he wanted to change his fate, he didn't want to be a slave to these....Starclan supporters much longer, he wanted to make his own path, his own way.
Jaypaw close his eyes and thought about her proposal once she finished, he didn't just want to shout yes, get his troubles over with in only a few seconds, no, nothing wasn't ever that simple, life was never that simple, he had to think deeply about every word that slipped out of the brown tabbys mouth, make sure she didnt have alterior motives behind training him, he only had one more moon before he would become a full warrior, he had to look at each and every one of his options very closely. "Who exactly will be training me, because by the sounds of it....it won't be you. Why should I train behind my mentors back, he's never done anything to deserve that." he stated calmly, his blue he's seemed to get colder, they seemed to become as bright, as light, as cold, as ice its self, he didn't believe in Starclan, but he also didn't believe in disloyalty, and if he was being bribed into taking the wrong path, the disloyal, sly, dishonest path, he would rather die loyal, honest, true, as well as stupid if needed, he promised Ashstar that he would Ben true to his clan, and he never breaks his promises. "Why should I listen to you?" he questioned, his voice low, cold, and dripped with venom, he was a sweet cat, untill you rubbed his fur the wrong way.

"I mean.... There is one on my shoulder if you lifted the fur, but since my fur is oretty long, it covers it up mostly," she replied, her green gaze cast on the location of the scar. Mossdrop gave a small, calm smile at the apprentice. This cat was hard to persuade, but if he agree'd, hard work would pay off. But, sometimes it was hard to persuade others, even if you were...quite good at it. "It is wise not to trust my words, or what I'm offering you, Jaypaw." Stubborn, and doesn't trust me easily, hmph, good choice, I would think. "Most cats would simply say yes immediately, but you are quite different than the others, good choice to question me, and my offer." The molly told, eyes gleaming, she would only propose this once, and only..once. If he refused, she would not ask him again, ever, unless he comes begging to her. That would possibly happen, but its also impossible to happen. Mossdrop was a wicked cat, a persuader, and all. This wasn't her first or second marigold trip around.
"But, I promise you, these cats will make you the warrior your clan needs, and perhaps, you may become leader, in time." Hmm, this is becoming more interesting than the last time I asked this to another apprentice. "This is not an offer I give lightly, only to those who I see who could be better than their fellow warriors, apprentices. Do you want to be the best, better than your den mates?" Mossdrop spoke, boring right into his eyes. He doesn't know the lies Mapledash has, locked up, but she wouldn't tell, it would make him refuse this offer, she didn't want to ruin his chance. I don't really know the lies well at heart, but I do know that he fled when Ratnight came with Sagewhisker of Windclan, a very big coward. He probably fell in love with that stupid cat as well! Disloyalty like that is a disgrace. She thought, extreme annoyance boiling in her head, she knew Mapledash was a Starclan Supporter, she knew it, she always knew it. It angered her, a lot.

Owlpaw paused," Thank you?" She wasn't sure if that was scorn or a complement so she thought for a minute trying to decide
The tom looked at the other cats, not looking at her. "So, what brings you to speak with me?" he asked, his eyes flickering as he looked from cat to cat. Common gossip, whispers of secrets, jokes and bad humor. That's all the went on the den. He occasionally joined in on the gossip, though he never said anything himself.

Owlpaw shrugged," I guess I'm lonely ever since my friends became warriors they quit spending time with me. Even though we are the same age."

He glanced over at the other apprentice and her mentor "sure why not? You two can have some mini competitions in the training grounds."
Icepaw squeaked with excitement and got up with cherrypaw redclaw following they padded over to harmonyblade

( Oops, so sorry, I thought I replied! D= )
Remorakit narrowed their eyes and turned away. Marigold keeps out infection, sticks support broken bones, cobwebs to bind them and stop bleeding, I guess? they recited in their head as they walked stiffly out of the den. "See you," called the kit over their shoulder as they exited, tail lashing. No. You're going to be a warrior. Herbs shouldn't matter. But still... Maybe I can convince Zerosight. He needs more help than Smallpaw.

"Well, have you ever tried keeping to the few?" he asked. "Don't make too many friends, and you won't be lonely when they leave you behind." he meowed.

Soulpaw walked out of the apprentices den and made his way over to the shady part of camp. He looked around for his brother Gazeshadow. Gazeshadow stepped out of the warriors den and saw his half brother. "Hi Soulpaw." he meowed, walking over to the apprentice. "Hello Gazeshadow." Will he take me hunting today, since he's my mentor or maybe he'll tell the leader i'm ready to become a warrior

Dovekit12 ) Tumblepaw thought for a moment, holding the mossball under his paw. "Want me to show some hunting moves?" He asked Spottedkit with a smile. He'd always seen kits loving to be taught by other apprentices, like he'd certainly done, and had wondered if the little shekit would like to learn something. Hunting was his specialty; his slim and lean build allowed for a nice speed and good agility. His scrawny size was his complete downside in combat though so he often didn't excel in that field.

Owlpaw blinked," you think its better to stay friendless?"
"No I think it's better not to be left behind all the time." he replied. "And I never said friendless. I said limited." he said, and shifted his orbs to her. How is she still able to talk to me? Most would have already walked away. he thought.

Briarbranch smiled at her words and nodded. She thought for a moment at her question, her head tilting slightly,"What i usually do..which is tree climb." she chuckled. She stilled loved to tree climb, feeling the breeze in her thick fur as she watched the sunset between the thunderclan trees. the memory with her tree climbing till was in her memory, and she smiled at the thought of it.

Cloudedsky smiled as well. She liked how Briarbranch had something she loved doing so much, she could do it every day. "Yeah, I remember when you took me tree climbing," she reminisced, "That was possibly the best day of my life. No other cat I've talked to ever bothered to hokd a conversation for that long, let alone take me to do an activity they enjoy."

Cloudedaky smiled as well. "Yeah, I remember when yoy took me tree climbing," she reminisced, "It was possibly the best time of my life, or at least in a really long time. With me having such a hard tine conversing with others most of the time, no cat I've talked to has ever bothered to hold a conversation for long, let alone take me to do an activity they enjoy. But you did!" She purred, flicking the larger she-cat with her tail. "Thanks for being the one to talk to me for more than a few minutes of small talk, Briarbranch."
