Snowsong blinked for a moment, registering his last sentence before her ice blue hues widened. "Ohhhh we left the squirrel!" She exclaimed, but faint amusement sparkled through her gaze as she shook her head. "We got so caught up in being in love that we forgot--"

"Whats this I hear? Snow's in love?" A golden colored she-cat trotted up to them, eyebrows raised and a smirk on her maw. Her long tail flicked back and forth, back and forth as she tilted her head at her sister. "You've always struck me as the romantic type."

"Honeyfur." Snowsong welcomed with a smile, padding forward and resting her head on the she-cats.

"Deputy." Honeyfur smirked when they pulled away, and her gaze flickered to Stormstrike, curiosity in her bright green eyes. "So, you and my sister, huh? Snowstrike for the win." She joked, casting a playful glance at Snowsong, who merely giggled.

The realization hit him that they really had left the piece of prey in the territory. It was amazing how you could get so caught up in something and forget about something else. "I'll go fetch it later," he replied. Despite the fact that every single piece of prey mattered, Stormstrike couldn't help but feel amused as well.

A voice suddenly interrupted Snowsong halfway through her sentence and looked at where the voice had come from. Honeyfur. Snowsong's sister. And technically his sister in-law. Thinking about it, Stormstrike knew how the siamese had many siblings. That meant his family had just grown a lot bigger.

The grey warrior watched as Snowsong greeted her sister with a warm smile. He couldn't help but wonder, had he and Berrystripe ever been that close. They had grown so far apart that the memories were seemingly fading.

As Honeyfur turned her attention to him, he had to give her a warm smile of his own. The tom had spoken to her once or twice, and he had decided that she was a very kind cat. Stormstrike let out a chuckle of his own. "Yup.
Now you've got an addition to your family," Stormstrike replied, amusement glimmering in pale blue hues. His thoughts wondered off to what Honeyfur had said. Snowstrike? It sounded nice.

Amusement flickered in Briarwish's eyes as she watched him slip. "Oh yeah, like, stalking a conversation between a she-cat and tom is totally called filling a hole now," Briarwish remarked sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Despite having only met the tom a few moments ago, Briarwish was already feeling greatly amused by him. "The name's Briarwish? The more serious question though, is who are you?" Briarwish asked coolly. The brown tabby was a pretty chill cat. She was laid back and calm, not one to panic very often.

Silvercloud's amber hues followed Echospeck as he stood up, blinking every so often. As Echospeck made his first statement, the tabby felt an urge surge up in her. She wanted to ask the warrior if she could come along, but maybe he wanted to go alone. Silvercloud nearly jumped for joy as Echospeck asked if she would go with him. "I'd love to come!" the she-cat remarked excitedly, trying her best not to sound so happy but failing miserably. Silvercloud changed into a conpletely different cat when she was next to Echospeck. He was the excitement in her typical life.

"Great!" Echospeck mews with enthusiasm. The whole day together... Maybe today, I hope I can today! Suddenly feeling very eager to get started, he stands and stretches out his hindlegs, his tail twitching vigorously. "Ready? Or do you want to eat first? I don't want to rush you." Manners, Echospeck, calm down a little. He could barely contain himself, trying to figure out the best path to take, the interesting things to show her, where they could hunt...

Nettleclaw stifled his growl, not taking lightly to Briarwish's sarcasm. "I'm Nettleclaw..." That's all he could really get out. Too much was going through his mind and he certainly didn't want this nosey warrior getting the wrong idea, so he shyly plays pacifist and turns his head away.

Honeyfur laughed, the sound soft and smooth, sweet like honey. "Thats great to hear! Yo!" She yowled, whipping her head around to gaze around the clearing. "Roar, Fox!"

"HIIII-YAAAA!!!" Foxthorn barreled into his sister out of nowhere, sending the two rolling until Foxthorn pinned her. "Surrender to the great Foxthornnnn!!"

"Get OFF me you great lump!" Honeyfur yowled, shoving him off and standing up. "You're a warrior! Act like it!"

Foxthorn stuck his tongue out at her. "You love me sis."

Snowsong laughed at the sight, amusement sparkling through her blue eyes. She couldnt help but feel a pang of regret that Blackstorm and Goldensky werent there anymore. It was something she'd never get used to, knowing they werent there anymore.

Honeyfur scowled at Foxthorn, before turning her gaze back to Stormstrike and Snowsong, smirking. "These two are mates now."

"Ooooooohhhh," Foxthorn turned to Snowsong, a grin on his maw as he tipped his head. "Getting in the game, huh? What took ya so long? Are you pregnant?"

"Foxthorn!" Both Honeyfur and Snowsong rolled their eyes at their brother, both of them giggling faintly.

Foxthorn snickered before looking at Stormstrike, smiling brightly, somewhat cockily. "Take care of my sister. I wont beat ya up, but Roar might decide he wants some blood."

It made warmth bubble within her, hearing how enthusiastic Echospeck sounded that she was going to be spending the rest of his evening with her. If she was lucky, maybe Silvercloud just had a chance with the tom. Silvercloud shook her head. "No, we can go now," Silvercloud said eagerly. She was way too excited to waste her time, sitting in the camp doing absolutely nothing. Why would she want to waste her precious time like that?

Briarwish laughed at Nettleclaw's response. He didn't sound happy to meet her, but it wasn't like the tabby she-cat cared. She liked annoying others. It was a special talent of hers and she wasn't going to put it to waste. "Sooooo, why're you stalking them? Do you like the she-cat?"
Briarwish asked slyly, fluttering her eyelashes. This was the she-cat's way of getting on someone's nerves. Just keep on pushing buttons.

Honeyfur laughed, the sound soft and smooth, sweet like honey. "Thats great to hear! Yo!" She yowled, whipping her head around to gaze around the clearing. "Roar, Fox!"

Stormstrike nearly jumped as Foxthorn barreled through the air,
appearing out of nowhere. He had definitely not been expecting that.
He laughed though as Foxthorn pinned his sister. It reminded him of his moment in the territory with Snowsong. Not once had any of his affection faded for her since they had returned from the territory. But then again,
his affection for her had never faded once in all the moons that he had started liking her. If anything, they had just gotten bigger. Watching the two siblings messing around like that made another emotion mix into the one of joy and affection in his hues. Sadness. He longed to be close to his brother like they were. But it was just a matter of where his brother was. He never seemed to be able to find him nowadays.

Stormstrike got rid of the sadness as the two siblings turned their attention to him and Snowsong. Pregnant? That was a slightly disturbing thought as of now. It would be nice to have kits in the future, but not right now. They'd only been mates for less than an hour. Still, the idea made him chuckle softly.

Foxthorn's next words were also rather disturbing. "I'll be making sure I take great care of her," Stormstrike replied, amusement still flashing in his pale orbs. "And it is rather unfortunate that I don't have any blood for sale," the grey warrior continued. He wasn't at all intent on getting killed any time soon.

Foxthorn let out a heart chuckle, grinning at the gray Tom. "That wont stop Roarclaw. But hey, dont worry. Snow can call him off, she's the deputy." He winked, licking his dark ginger fur.

"Yeah because he listened to me when I told him to stop trying to attack Splashheart's mate in RiverClan." Snowsong twitched her whiskers, amusement sparkling through her ice blue eyes. The Siamese cast a glance toward her mate, giving a small smile.

"Well we'll hold him back like we did last time." Honeyfur flicked her tail dismissively, giggling to herself as she shook out her golden fur as her green eyes sparkled.

"Hold who back?" Roarclaw asked curiously as he padded up to the four cats, head tilting. His muscles rippled under his golden pelt, and his amber eyes sparked with curiosity as he gazed at his siblings and Stormstrike.

At his words, the she-cat burst out in a fit of laughter. "Oh....you are....hilarious!" Briarwish said through laughs. She was now at the point where she was rolling around on the floor of the apprentice's den, Clutching her belly as fits of laughter came and went. Peering through the hole, she could just see the two cats that Nettleclaw had just been stalking, standing up and heading towards the camp entrance, wide grins on their faces. "Looks....like you've....missed...out," Briarwish said, still laughing as hard as ever. The tabby was now getting weird stares from the apprentice's in the den.

Foxthorn let out a heart chuckle, grinning at the gray Tom. "That wont stop Roarclaw. But hey, dont worry. Snow can call him off, she's the deputy." He winked, licking his dark ginger fur.

A soft chuckle came from the back of the warrior's throat, amusement never leaving his pale blue hues. "He sounds like a lovely guy," the tom remarked. Despite what Foxthorn had said, he was still excited to meet this 'Roarclaw'. He always enjoyed making new friends.

A small smile grew on his maw. He had been correct. Splashheart was the one who had went to RiverClan. At first, the stormy pelted warrior hasn't known why, but now he did. It wasn't something he had expected, still, he wasn't one to judge others for their actions. He had nothing against forbidden relationships, even if they were forbidden.

"You can hold him off while I go find somewhere to hide," Stormstrike replied, his whiskers twitching in amusement. Snowsong's family seemed like a lovely bunch, even if he had met some of them before, he felt like he was knowing more and more.

His attention quickly flew to the new comer. It was a golden tom with lots of muscles. This must've been the cat they had been talking about. Stormstrike had to admit, he wouldn't want to get in the way of a cat like him. Still, he was going to be friendly as ever. "Hello," he greeted, giving off a small but warm smile.

Wishtail opened her eyes and yawned. Her muscles were stiff from lying there for hours so she stood up and stretched. After she stretched she sat down and yawned again. With a sigh, she started walking out of the den.

Starclaw stalked out of the warriors den as the other cat did.
"Well, good morning, I need backup to help me patrol the borders."
She immediately said, not even asking for a name or to see is wishtail was busy at the moment.

Goldenpaw yawned as she rose from her den, and exited into the clearing. Her amber eyes darted back and forth, noticing no-cat was watching her, she lay down on a sun-soaked rock, a few fox-lengths away from her older-sister, Spottedsong. She lay her head down and stretched her body out. Welcoming the early morning sun. The Molly liked these moments, when no cat was watching and she could just relax.

An average-sized yellow tabby entered the camp, gait heavy as it had been since Gyresta--Gyrewind's announcement. It broke his heart a little that the leader had felt himself not good enough and he was upset to have learned this secon hand, due to being hunting at the time. The warrior, Dunedrift, was also saddened by the fact he had not been talking to Gyre as much as he would like to. Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he noticed an apprentice and approached her quietly, meowing a greeting.

The small, golden, she-cat looked up at the sound of a greeting. She recognised the Warrior as Dunedrift. Goldenpaw had often spotted the warrior speaking to Gyrewind often, and blushing immensely when he did. She stared at him, and saw the flecks of tears stains in the corners of his eyes. He must feel sad due to Gyre, I would be sad if Lightpaw was so stressed she couldn't be an apprentice..... Maybe I could help him? "Uh.... Hi, how are you?" Wow, he's just seen his crush so stressed he can't be leader and I say 'how are you?'

Green eyes blinking, Dune meowed in a somewhat hesitant response, "I'm doig alright." It was a white lie and didn't even sound convincing to himself, and inwardly the warrior cursed his lack of thought prior to uttering a single sentence. His ticked tail wrapped around his paws as he sat to cover the slight twitching of his paws as he resisted the urge to go back to the territory. His will to make up for not being a good enough parent to Sandpaw by neing a father to others was probably the only thing that kept him from fleeing and he fidgeted. Most cats wouldn't be this upset about a bad start to a conversation, but then again, Dunedrift was not most cats.

Goldenpaw raised her {Non-existent} Eye-brows. He's defiantly lying; thats obvious, but what to do about it... "Ok. Why do you think will be deputy?" She mewed, attempting to steer away from the stilted conversation, asking about how he was feeling would result in him walking away, evident by his twitchy and skittish demeanour. "I think a more calmer and stoic cat will be deputy, Because Snowstar is very bouncy and honestly a bit childish." She mewed matter of factly, the apprentice had to row up fast, with harsh and uncaring parents, so she tended to be more warrior like. "Who do you think?"

"I'm sure they'll notice you again soon.", Crowsong replied, smiling, warmth, love, and affection gleaming in her eyes. The gray fluffy furred she-cat got to her paws. "Come on!", she mewed, walking back to camp.

Stoneheart followed her, resting his tail on her back. He walked into the Warriors den and lay down in a nest near the middle. Would Crowsong join him in the nest? Stoneheart sure hoped so, it was so cold, not having someone to share a nest with, he would be great full if any cat did. He looked into Crowsong's eyes and smiled. Her eyes were like, like, there were no words to describe how beautiful they were. Stoneheart lay down his head, in the direction of her, so he could see her as he drifted into sleep. "As long as a certain trusting she-cat deputy doesnt let him in." Foxthorn purred teasingly, trying to lighten the mood as he gazed at Snowsong.

"Hey, are you forgetting you're the one who told Goldensky I was deputy?" Snowsong gave a half smile when Foxthorn rolled his eyes. "And, as much as I love Blackstorm, I have to put my Clan first and after what he's done, I dont know whether he's trustworthy or not."

"We were gonna hold you back when we told you about Snowsong's new boyfriend Stormstrike." Foxthorn spoke before the others could, tail swishing back and forth.

"Foxthorn!" Honeyfur yowled, and Foxthorn ducked his head.

"Oy vey," Snowsong mumbled, rolling her eyes, but she was smiling.

Stoneheart was alone, in a foggy forest. There was screaming, he ran towards it. When he got there, Crowsong, his mother, his father and his sister, lay on the ground, some dead, some bleeding to death. His green eyes opened wide at the sight. Stoneheart frantically looked around for some cobwebs, but there was none. *step, step* his head whipped around at the noise. Behind him was himself. The other Stoneheart was all bloody and he had scars, his claws were unsheathed and his fangs had the blood of his loved ones on them. "What have you done?" The real Stoneheart said in a small voice. "You mean what have YOU done." The bloody one responded. "Follow your destiny...." He whispered, "become what you see when you look at me..." And with that, the fake Stoneheart left, leaving him alone with the bodies of his loved ones around him.

Stoneheart bolted awake, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw Crowsong snoozing peacefully beside him. At least she's still safe. He closed his eyes and pulled Crowsong closer to him. Slowly the haunting remains of the dream faded away and he fell back asleep, dreaming of what he and Crowsong's life together would be like.

"Oy vey," Snowsong mumbled, rolling her eyes, but she was smiling.

"Boyfriend? You mean two of my sisters have mates now?" Roarclaw's gaze went to Stormstrike immediately, his amber eyes turning serious once more. "What is it, love season?"

Blackstorm? Wasn't he their brother? Stormstrike listened curiously as they spoke. What had he done? The grey warrior hadn't exactly been informed on anything like this and he sure was curious to know. Unfortunately, they weren't exactly saying much. Perhaps he should ask? But then again, what if it was a sensitive topic? Seeing how Honeyfur's gaze seemed to harden at the mention of the tom, he decided not to do so.

Not let him in? Stormstrike stayed silent as he listened to their words. His lips curved down to form a slight frown. Snowsong always let everyone in, what had he done that was serious enough, to not be let in? But, before he knew it, despite what he had told himself, the words spilt out. "What did Blackstorm do?" Stormstrike asked. He quickly snapped his jaws shut. He had let his curiosity get the better of him. "You....don't have to tell me. Sorry," Stormstrike quickly apologised, mentally slapping himself.

Rather than shrinking down at Roarclaw's serious gaze, the grey warrior felt a soft chuckle rumbling from the back of his throat. "Perhaps."

Roarclaw gave the Tom a completely puzzled look before turning his gaze to Snowsong, blinking. "You didnt tell him?"

"Why would she?" Honeyfur spoke up before Snowsong had the chance to. "You know Snowy is sensitive to that topic."

"I am not," Snowsong chided her sister, shaking her head. "That would be Roarclaw. All mopey since then."

Roarclaw stuck his tongue out. [B]"Blackstorm was my favorite brother."

"Hey!" Foxthorn exclaimed, ears going back.

Honeyfur rolled her eyes. "Boys." She turned to Stormstrike, and gave a small but sad smile. "Well, you're family now, so you should know. When we were apprentices, Blackstorm - Blackpaw then - And our father Fiercestorm--"

"Anyone else notice how he took Dad's name," Foxthorn piped up, and Honeyfur continued with a roll of her eyes.

"Were out on patrol together through the territory, while me and Eternal were being chased by rabid dogs." Honeyfur stated, and now Snowsong spoke.

"Dad leaped in and got them out, but when he tried to climb back up, he got stuck." Snowsong flicked her black tail, glancing at her siblings with soft ice blue eyes. "Blackpaw got to him before we could."

"He threw him back down to the dogs." Honeyfur sighed, remembering that fateful day. "By the time me and Eternal got down there, the dogs had gone and Dad was...Torn apart. Blackpaw came down to talk to us. He said it wouldnt have happened, had we not gotten into trouble."

Snowsong's gaze was slightly hard for once, an unreadable emotion in her eyes. "He ordered Oakpaw, and Goldenpaw - our sister - to chase Honeypaw and Eternalpaw out of the territory, where they met Meerkat and Digger."

"And meanwhile, after we became warriors," Roarclaw piped up. "Blackstorm gathered me, Snowsong, Foxthorn, Splashheart, Lionheart, Palesight, Coonmask, Goldensky and Oakmark and took us away from ThunderClan, leading us to a wasteland."

"We would have starved." Snowsong closed her eyes briefly before opening them again. "Honey and Eternal showed up just in time, and ordered Blackstorm to leave. Realizing we were all going to fight back now, he took Oakmark and Goldensky and ran off."

"Havent heard from him since then." Honeyfur sighed, shaking her head.

"That means he's planning something." Snowsong murmured. "You know Blackstorm never stays silent for long."

To each word, Stormstrike listened carefully. His eyes widened ever so slightly. That was surprisingly. For a family that was so close, they had to have two cat's who betrayed them. The stormy pelted warrior didn't say anything while they spoke. He was still processing everything through his mind.

Not having a dad anymore, he could relate to that. Except, he had never known his dad. He wasn't sure what to think about his dad. If his dad was nice and he thought of him as a cruel guy, then he might feel rather guilty afterwards.

But if he was a harsh cat, and he thought nicely of him, he would feel rather stupid. He didn't exactly like feeling stupid. Who did?

Finally, Stormstrike decided to say something. "Why did he do it? Blackstorm, why did he betray you?" the grey tom asked, his eyes glinting with sadness. This wasn't a happy story and Stormstrike was a relatively positive cat. However, this story interested him.

Snowsong blinked at her mate. For a while she'd asked the same question, wondering why, and now she had nothing to say.

"Its obvious." Honeyfur sighed softly, her golden tail flicking. "The fire that killed Fernpaw was bad enough for Blackstorm to watch. The battle between ThunderClan and SkyClan made him snap." She gazed at her siblings and Stormstrike. "Blackstorm has always been a tough cat, but he was never truly bloodthirsty until he killed Dad. Seeing all that blood, some of his Clanmates dying before his eyes, it shook him hard."

Snowsong sighed, shoulders dropping. "I want to forgive him. Bring him back, let him back in, give him another chance. But I cant trust him anymore." She murmured, staring at the ground, and Roarclaw gently placed his tail on her shoulders. "He killed his own father. Who knows what else he might do? I cant put ThunderClan at risk like that, not even for my own brother."

Warm was one word he would use to explain this feeling. Not like the usual feeling he had when it was just a comftrable mixture of warmth and cold, no, nothing cold about the feeling that fluttered around his stomach. Although e didn't quite know why, maybe it was just one of those days, everything was peachy, everything was perfect. Although he knew it wasn't, nothing ever was, but such thinking wouldn't get him anywhere, such thinking wouldn't help him help others. The golden tabby licked his maw and padded forward, his pawsteps silent, careful. He didn't really like causing a ruckus around camp, with the kits sleeping and the queens resting, he didn't want to wake them with his stomping, that's rude. The warrior stoped and looked around the clearing, his blue hues danced with joy and curiosity, he wanted to make new friends, he had noticed a few new faces pop up in clan a small he fussed over his brother and he really wanted to make new friends. Dayhum flicked his ear and found himself a sunny spot near the entrance of the Warriors den, his golden pelt seemed even more golden in the suns rays. It was certainly understandable as to why they were rather sad about it, Snowsong in particular. This wasn't a very nice thing to talk about and Stormstrike was rather guilty for having asked such a question. Hopefully they would be able to get their minds off it.

An amber gaze scanned the camp curiously, in search of someone to talk to. Honeyvenom was a very likeable cat. Her sweet nature resulted in many friends and a family that loved her. However, being so sweet often meant that others would underestimate her. They expected her to be defenceless and weak, often in need of someone to protect her. She was the exact opposite of this. Honeyvenom was perfectly capable of defending herself and requried no help. This also lead to others going easy on her during training sessions. She hated it. If you got to know this golden she-cat, you would understand that she didn't need lots of protectors. Perhaps one, but nothing more. She was a strong she-cat. And not only that, there were lots of toms in the clan who were attracted to her kind nature. Either, they tried to protect her from each harsh word said, wanting to gain her attention. Or, they might toy with her heart, thinking she would fall for them. It was disgusting for her to watch. Ever since being a young kit, Honeyvenom had always made sure that she was careful around toms. She wanted to settle down and have kits, but she was careful of who she were to choose as a mate. The ginger tabby was still looking, and hopefully she could find someone soon. For now, she was perfectly happy living a single life.
Sighing, the she-cat shook her head, wanting to clear out all of the thoughts. She quickly remembered what she was doing and looked around sharply, her features soft and gentle. Finally, she spotted a tom who was sitting by himself outside the Warrior's Den. A small but warm smile grew on her maw as she padded over to him. "Goodmorning. I don't believe we've met before. I'm Honeyvenom," the she-cat said politely. Her amber gaze flickered momentarily to the spot next to him, as if asking if she could sit there.

Snowsong smiled, giving a soft purr as she pressed her nose to his cheek. "Food sounds good. Squirrel sounds great."

Honeyfur giggled. "Well, we'd stay and eat with you, but we were just heading out to hunt, plus, we should leave you lovebirds alone," She winked. "Come on boys!" She turned and trotted off. "Bye Snow!"

"Bye Songy!" Foxthorn nudged Snowsong gently, smiling, before turning and bounding after Honeyfur.

"See you later Snowy," Roarclaw gave Stormstrike one last lingering stare before turning and following the two, tail swishing.

"Bye guys," Snowsong called with a warm smile, watching her siblings exit the camp, before turning back to Stormstrike with the same smile, affection sparkling in her eyes. "So, I believe we were about to eat?"

The stormy pelted warrior flicked his tail as a sign of good bye. Stormstrike met Roarclaw's lingering gaze before he turned his attention back to his mate. "Yes," Stormstrike responded, chuckling softly as he pressed himself against her. "Then later we'll see if we can find that squirrel again," the grey tom continued. Flicking his tail over one of her ears, he started to pad towards the fresh kill pile, glancing back at the siamese to see if she was going to follow.

A small smile grew on his maw as he approached the kill pile. He loved food, it was so delicious and very important. With new-leaf settling in, prey was becoming plentiful. The warrior scanned the pile for something that looked appetible. Looking back up at his mate he asked, "What would you like?"

Still smiling, Snowsong turned her gaze to the pile, ears pricking. "Mmmm...Preferably squirrel," She purred jokingly. "Whatever you want," She gave her mate a warm grin, head tilting faintly to the side.

Olivenose shot up right away her eyes wide with worry. In a more frantic an quicken voice she said, "No no! Dear you didn't darken anythings you are aloud to talk about the cats you loved! By any means talk as much as you need." Pressing her nose in the mollys shoulder fur she closed her eyes a bit her once bristled fur laid against her toned muscles. Her heartbeat began to beat against her chest. She had never done something like this to anyone and she wasn't sure how the other felt about her doing something like this. Gulping she quickly pulled away her gaze shifted away as she studied whatever it was near her, like it was some form of savory to her. She wanted to comfort the molly in any way she could possibly do so, she just wanted to show she was there for them. The breaking sun began to warm her fur the cloudless sky brightened to his bluest beauty. She let out a faint sigh her ears folded back, "I'm sorry if that offended you... What I did I mean! I just want to comfort you the best way! I can't relate losing someone I held dear because they're still here... right here.." she mumbled softly more so to herself.

The small Egyptian mau kitten slipped out of the nursery his dark green eyes gazed the surrounding area in wonder. This kitten only had two and a half more years before he joined the ranks of the apprentices. And because of that he wanted to spend what little time he had doing whatever he wished before the amount of duties of having that rank piled up on his shoulders. Letting out a faint sigh he searched for something to do. There was endless possibilities he could be doing like exploring what little areas he had yet to do. A small devishly smile crept in the corner of his mouth as it came to him. Adventure! Adventuring was what he wanted to do now, but at the same time he didn't want to go alone so what better idea but to find someone to go with him right? Nodding to himself he began his search for a companion. Creeping around the clearing he shifted around the small clusters of cats that littered the clearing his gazes jumped from cat to cat finding a more suitable match for himself. That was until his gaze landed on the smaller apprentice. She had to be perfect! All he needed to do was ask her. Padding over to Kestrelpaw with his tail in the air he stopped in front of her. "Hello there!" He chirped his ears perked.
Whiskermoon let her gaze settle on the ground as Olivenose spoke to her. She wished she didn't bring up Hiddenvoice,it only made her mood darken at the longing she felt toward the dead molly. But she looked up, and saw what was right infront of her and smiled as the shecat pressed close into her shoulder. Her smile flickered as she pulled away. "No no it's alright,I like affection." she mewed quietly. It all felt to familiar, she wasn't used to affection from any cat other then her dead mate, so this was something new to accept. But she didn't mind it. It meant comfort, which was something she did need. "I don't mind if you touch me." she smiled, offering her shoulder once more. She felt the sun seep into her pelt and she remember how early it was, that she had left before it was even dawn. She yawn slightly, with the warm sun seeping into her pelt and the molly snugged into her side soon, it was the perfect for her to relax.

When the molly had moved away from her touch for a mere second she gulped slightly. Her heart pounded loudly against her chest any louder she would have been sure the other would hear it as clear as daylight. Her ears flickered as her voice tone danced around the furs of her ears. She was glad that the molly was okay with the gesture but the growing ball in the pit of her belly slowly started to grow as the second grew on. She had to work on breathing to keep calm not wanting to overact and start well crying for no reason. Nodding slowly she just began to study the other taking in the felines albino pelt, the splotches of colors that rest on her frame so perfectly this molly was absolutely gorgeous in every way possible nothing about her made her think otherwise. Each feature made her shine out like the rest, She adored it and she... felt guilty about it. Her friend was something special, something she hoped to someday get closer too. All she wanted was to calm her friend down the best way she could possible do so. Nuzzling up against the pale calico molly she closed her amber gaze. Her heart slowly began to calm down as the other began to get more comfortable. Letting out a faint sigh she flicked her tail out lazily as she too got comfortable. The warmth of the sun made her let out a faint purr one that rumbled throughout her body with not a single trouble. She can all but hope that her attempts weren't something she would regret if she did ever fail at her hopes on being there. But there generally no way to truly tell what the other was thinking. Was whiskermoons mind racing with thoughts that can be silenced so easily? Or was it quiet just a few disturbance here and there that could be quenched out with not a mere trouble with that. She wasn't as easy to read as Olivenose had hoped. But the ragamuffin couldn't complain one bit how could she ever do such a think like that? Opening one eye she glanced up at the clear blue sky the sun off to the side she let out a smile. The trees swayed slightly in the breeze that trembled their branches nothing was different about the day everything was just something that was normal. Just a normal day it was.

[Sorry ^^" It's testing week and im drowning in them]

The silver tom hobbled in and held back a hiss of pain when he put pressure on the injured paw, he was absolutely humiliated. The new warrior hadn't planned on getting hurt like that, he planned on getting hurt in a battle for his clan, but instead he broke his paw catching a bird. How pathetic. He gently layed himself down on the nest available in the den, his usually neat, well kept fur was messy, dirty and was sticking up in multiple places. Upon the medicine cats question he shrank down, attempting to curl up in a little ball, make himself as tiny as possible "I was trying to catch a thrush but i slipped and fell. My mentor decided to dissapear halfway through my training so i decided to wing it." he said softly. The tom let out a short, loud cry when his joint was popped back into place, his eyes watered up. Pain. That was all he felt once more. His vision was blurry through his tears but he could tell what the tom was handing him, well he hoped he knew. Jayspot nodded in understanding and licked up the seeds. Sleepiness began to wash over him, and his wound became to feel numb, "Thank you." he stated softly before nodding off into slumber.

Wheatfur shook his head in disbelief, and looked back at his hind paw, the one that was crooked. Apprentices these days. When I was that young I didn't fall over, I chased after foxes! oh. Maybe I am a bit like him, running head first into danger..... Or being an idiot, whichever fits. He sighed and looked down at the warrior. He quickly notice the toms unkept fur and started grooming it. "How long have you had that injury?" He mewed between licks "You look dreadful, you should of came here strait away." He continued the rhythm, till Jayspot fell asleep. The golden tom stood up and settled into his next, near a pool of water. "If I fall asleep while he's asleep something might happen.... Well, heres another long night." The tom murmured as he rested him face on his paws. He waited. And he waited. He started twitching, his tail swaying. "Wow. I can't sit still, even for a minute. Well, might as do something productive." he stood up, and soaked a bit of moss in water, the tom proceeded to put it on a stone shelf, next to Jayspot, he then reached out and got some more dry moss, and fashioned it into a pile for the warrior. "There. its small, but its nice."

Crystaldrop blushed as Cuckootree greeted her, "N-no, I'm-m Not..." She was, but she wouldn't upset Cuckootree. The normally sassy and playful she-cat turned shy and quiet when she was with him. She had true feelings for him. He was so sweet and kind to her, when all other cats were cut by his sharpness.

The silver tabby she-cat shook her head as she got up and stretched. She then would walk around looking for the entrance to the den. Her whiskers trembling to sense the walls around her. Snowstar slowly made her way onto the Highpeak, glancing down every now and then as she made her way to the top. It felt odd to be up there where the Clan leaders usually were. Where Gyrewind usually was. It made her shiver slightly and she took a breath to steady herself, staring down into the clearing before she spoke, allowing her voice to ring out. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highpeak for a Clan meeting,"

The words that flowed from her mouth so easily surprised her, and she found that the squirming feeling in her stomach was back. Choosing a deputy had been hard, though she'd had one cat on her mind for a while now. And with alot of time to think about it, her decision was sealed. "As you all are aware," The Siamese began, staring down as cats filed beneath to listen, and went on, trying not to let her voice shake with nervousness. Taking a deep breath, she continued, "Gyrewind has stepped down, leaving me as leader, which means ThunderClan is now in need of a deputy. So with no more time to waste," She scanned the clearing to be sure the cat she'd chosen was there. When she caught sight of them, she smiled in relief, and nodded.

"Fennelnose, please step forward beneath the Highpeak."

To put it mildly, Fennelnose was exhausted.

They sat towards the edge of the clearing, just outside of the Warriors' Den that they had padded out of minutes before. They had come back from the Gathering feeling even more drained than usual. It wasn't like they had spoken to lots of cats, though—they could only remember having spoken to Crimsonsky—but rather, just the thought of having been around all of those cats, with the scents mingling and forming one, overwhelming smell, was enough for them. Honestly, they would've stayed home, but they had been lingering around camp for too long. Their depression needed to stop. Pigeonfleck was [I]gone. He hadn't even spoken to her since... the incident.

But was he really gone? That nagging thought never went away, always tucked in one corner of Fennel's mind to be resurfaced whenever they thought about their emotions. They supposed that they would never know; and did they want to find out? No. As their thoughts slowly faded away, a voice entered. Snowstar's. Fennelnose looked over, moving forward a few paces so that it would be easier to hear. What did their leader want to say today..? Surely not anything important. Everything of import had already been stated at the Gathering, so there was nothing new that she could say, was there?

Fennelnose was a truly oblivious enby. At the last sentence of Snowstar, they blinked, staring up at their leader. The words didn't seem to be getting processed in their head.

Finally, after an eternity of silence, they realized. The only sign that they were surprised was a slight widening of their eyes and a twitch of their whiskers, yearning to be pulled back against their face. Fennelnose opened their mouth, but to no avail; fighting the urge to unsheath their claws in frustration, they cleared their throat and tried again. The pounding of their heart felt too loud. They were certain that every cat within 5 foxlengths could hear the rapid thump-thump-thump-thump-thump. They cringed inwardly at how raspy they knew their voice was going to sound, but they meowed anyway.

"Yes..?"

Snowstar watched with a smile as the cat's eyes seemed to widen, and she remembered what she had felt when she had just become deputy. First it was the confusion, then the excitement and nervousness, then the knowing sensation that she would do her absolute best for her Clan. The same warm smile on her face as always, Snowstar stared down at Fennelnose, head tilting to the side ever so slightly.

"Fennelnose," She began, her quiet voice ringing around the clearing, and her eyes focused on Fennelnose only, a proud, friendly look in her eyes as she grinned. She thought about asking the same question Gyrewind had asked her, but decided to go her own way. She seemed relaxed, but inwardly she was slightly nervous. Fennelnose's process was much like how Snowstar's appointment had went. They were confused at first, then filled with surprise. They had skipped over the excitement, however, and all that was there was shock and incredulity. It wasn't computing. The emotions dancing around their head were unable to describe. First they were puzzled, next they were startled, and now they couldn't believe what they were hearing. Fennelnose didn't trust their ears. Before they replied, they stole a glance around the clearing full of cats; where were Remorapaw, Jayspots, and Dawncloud? They had to be around here somewhere. Dawncloud wouldn't believe me if I told her, they thought, nearly cracking a smile. Smiles could wait for later; they needed to respond to Snowstar.

"Oh..." they trailed off, disbelief clear in their gaze. They waited a heartbeat before continuing with more confidence in their words. "Of course I accept. Thank you for this opportunity," meowed Fennelnose, dipping their head in respect towards the new leader. "I will do my best in serving you and ThunderClan." Now this was similar to when Snowstar had been made deputy. Resolution was clear in their usually cold gaze; they would make sure that Snowstar would have a good deputy. Like they had told Crimsonsky, they wanted to be a deputy that Snowstar could rely on, one that had experience on their side. Fennelnose was not necessarily the wisest cat in ThunderClan, but they had been through enough things in their life to fill a book.

"I would never expect any less, Fennelnose." She flicked her black tail tip lightly over their shoulder, a sign of both respect and pride, before turning her gaze to the assembled cats, the same warm smile never leaving her face. "Clan meeting dismissed. I love you all." The last part seemed to merely come out on its own as she gazed at her Clanmates, her Clan, the cats she cared so much about, each and every one of them.

Her gaze went back to Fennelnose, and she dipped her head with a smile at them before turning, her tail tip brushing their shoulder once more before she padded into the leaders den with an almost overwhelming sense of happiness coursing through her. She had made a promise to take care of ThunderClan, to help them grow and strive and make sure each and every cat was happy and safe. That she'd make ThunderClan great again. And she was certain she'd chosen a fine deputy that would undoubtedly help her achieve that. You made a good choice, Snowstar. She thought with a warm smile.

Her gaze went back to Fennelnose, and she dipped her head with a smile at him before turning, her tail tip brushing his shoulder once more before she padded into the leaders den with an almost overwhelming sense of happiness coursing through her.
You made a good choice.

Fennelnose nearly took a step back when Snowstar landed in front of them, but they steeled themself; flinching would only serve to show someone that you're easily intimidated, which Fennel was most certainly not. Their fur rippled as their leader grazed her tail across their shoulder, just barely touching the fur. Tilting their head downward, they showed obvious submission towards the younger cat. To be honest, Fennel looked positively odd. With their roughed-up exterior and icy eyes, it didn't look like they would ever bow down to someone else. But of course, it was necessary in this case; to show defiance would do no good, seeing as they had just been named the deputy of ThunderClan. It was a wonderful title, something they had never thought that they would have ever received. In a flash of doubt, they murmured under their breath, "Why me?" It was more for their sake than Snowstar's. As of late, Fennelnose had been harboring very little faith in themself, so to see Snowstar and an entire Clan approve of Fennel was... eye-opening.

"Thank you," they said after Snowstar had dismissed the Clan to go about their duties once more. Sincerity was obvious in their tone, very different from the other thank you that Fennelnose had said just a minute earlier.

~

Laurelpaw watched the Clan meeting with rapt attention. She had no idea who this Fennelnose was, but they seemed capable. She was, admittedly, a little confused at Snowstar's last sentence, but she purred anyway.

If Fennelnose was being completely honest with themself, they had no idea how they were feeling. At one end, they wanted to be completely ecstatic and just go all out with excitement, but that simply wasn't their personality. At the other, anxiety was overwhelming them, threatening to topple over the wall that they had created in their mind to protect from those very emotions and drown them. So... there they stayed in the middle, choosing not to be anxious nor ecstatic. Frankly, they were like that with a lot of things: Fennelnose was indifferent towards StarClan, neutral during the second EE, and indifferent towards who was chosen for the new deputy. Now that they had filled that spot, however... they weren't sure what to think.

For some odd reason, Fennelnose felt the need to poke their head in the Nursery. Why, they had no idea, but they just had some sort of an urge. Something was drawing them to it, and they didn't think it was all the rambunctious kits! But after a long, exhilarating day, they had just wanted to relax; and for Fennel, that meant visiting the Nursery. Apparently. They didn't pay any mind to it, though; seeing what never could have been was... almost peaceful, in a sense. Due to being infertile, they had never had kits, but you always wanted what you couldn't get! They yearned for them for moons after they had left Pigeonfleck, finally adopting Jaypaw first and then Remorakit soon after to fill the void. Fennelnose had to admit: they were quite the handful. Fortunately, Jaypaw was now Jayspots, and Remorakit was now Remorapaw. They were both very mature, and although Fennel still felt the void every now and then, one of their adopted kits would always come and cheer them up.

They were infinitely grateful towards them. They were oases in the desert, branches that pulled Fennelnose out of quicksand. They never really told them how much they appreciated them, but they felt that now would be a good time. Especially after what had just occurred. Fennel didn't think that they would ever fully get over the joy.

"I guess so, hmm?" Snowsong giggled, amusement sparkling through her ice blue eyes as she flashed her mate a grin. The Siamese nudged her head against his shoulder slightly, smirking. "For now, at least." She added, smiling. She always loved joking around with Stormstrike.

Eyes lighting up as Stormstrike chose the squirrel, Snowsong let out a soft, rumbling purr. "We accidentally leave the squirrel we caught in the forest, and end up eating one," She joked, flicking her tail over Stormstrike's shoulders. Smiling at him once more, she turned her gaze to the clearing thoughtfully, tilting her head toward an oak tree. "We could sit in the shade? Looks peaceful over there." She mewed with a smile.

"And how long will that last?" the tom asked, purring in amusement. Things were always much more interesting when Snowsong was around. She was the one thing that lit up his world.

"I guess we'll have to make up for it then," Stormstrike remarked. After this, he would probably take a nap before going out to hunt again. You could never get sick of hunting. Especially after a nice nap. The stormy pelted tom loved sleeping. As much as he loved doing work and contributing to the clan, there was nothing that he loved more than to have some rest after a day of work. Turning his attemtion back to his mate, he nodded in agreement. The tom really didn't care where they sat, he just enjoyed having Snowsong's company.

Snowstar seemed almost hesitant to enter the den, allowing her black tail to gently graze over the den walls as she gazed around. The moss was fresh, recently changed, and Snowstar vaguely remembered that Honeyfur had told her she and Foxthorn had got to work changing it while Snow was at the gathering. A grateful smile twitched at the Siamese she-cat's lips as she padded forward, prodding the nest with a gentle black paw.

Sighing softly to herself, she laid down and rolled onto her back in the soft moss, staring up at the roof of the den with an unreadable emotion in her ice blue eyes. She seemed to ask the same question she asked the day she became deputy - Why choose me? Why am I leader? Gyrewind had said she was a special little snowflake, but Snowstar didnt particularly think of herself as special, to be honest. She liked to think of herself as equal, equal to her Clanmates, equal to every cat everywhere. So why was she, out of all the cats in ThunderClan, why was she singled out for such a role? "Am I even ready for this? Can I give ThunderClan what they deserve? Can I be the leader they deserve?" She wondered aloud, allowing her blue eyes to slowly drift closed. She had been doubtful ever since she became deputy, and it had only intensified when Gyrewind stepped down. Snowstar didnt want her Clanmates to see, as she didnt want to worry them, but she wondered just how much she could truly do for her Clan.

But at the same time, she also knew that she would do most anything for them too.

It seemed this would be his new home for the rest of the known future. Slowly, the oriental tom paced from the warriors den. Green eyes projected brightly from his skull, against a dark brown pelt. The look in his orbs was a look of curiosity, sleep-lines, and slight uncertainty. Hopefully this place would be all it was chalked up to be. The proud Thunderclan a place of heroes, loyalty, and fierce strength. Three things that frog, fiercely lacked. Huffing quietly, the newly named Frog set off into camp. Hoping silently, that the clan-cats wouldn't judge his past time as a loner too heavily.

Upon Snowstars call he felt his fur tingle with excitement, who was she's going to choose? Jayspot held his breath when he heard his foster parents name get called, pride washed over him, love and pride. For a few seconds, by the look on Fennelnose's face, he thought she was going to decline, refuse. That scared him, he knew they were fit for the job, he knew that they could do it, he knew it form the bottom of his heart. The spotted warrior grinned widely when they accepted and began to call out his parents name "Fennelnose! Fennelnose!" he called loudly, his tail lashing back and fourth as he did so. His blue hues shone nothing but love as he made his way to his foster parent and nuzzled them, brushingbuis fur against theirs. He was so happy. So proud. After a few seconds of just nuzzling and purring he looked up at the warrior and grinned "I know you're going to be an amazing leader." he purred licking his parents shoulder. He looked around and hoped to spot his other family member, Remorapaw, hoping that they were there to witness it all.

Yet to receive a new mentor Oatpaw was assigned to regular boring apprentice chores. I might as well see if Wheatfur needs anything. He poked his cream colored tabby head in and scanned the interior, noticing a snoozing silver tom and the medicine cat. His silver gaze halted on the herb supply. Oatpaw's tail twitched and he felt a usual urge to organize each leaf in perfect order but he contained himself before he could leap forward and barrel into the den. "Wheatfur, may I come in?" At the sound of Jayspot's voice, calling Fennelnose's name, pride filled the void in their heart. Their kit was there, watching all of this occur, and even he approved of Snowstar's choice. It was hard for Fennel to take in; as they thought about what they had said to Crimsonsky, uncertainty clouded their mind. 'Hopefully the new deputy will be someone more experienced than Snowstar,' is what they had said. 'Snowstar is a very young cat, so she won't be very wise in her decision-making as leader. Not to say that I'm wise, though.' Sure, Fennelnose could agree that they were rather experienced, but they definitely couldn't say that they were wise. That word was reserved for the senior warriors, an unofficial rank that they had yet to earn. It would be a long time before they could use that term, anyhow.

Oh, but before they could finish their thoughts about older warriors, they felt a nudge at their side. Eyes lighting up in surprise and affection, something they reserved only for those closest to them, they burst out in purrs and leaned against their kit. Fennelnose was sure that many cats had never once seen them show any sort of emotion since reaching adulthood, but he was an exception. They didn't care in the slightest whether or not anybody was surprised at their changed demeanor; for now, all they wanted to do was bask in the moment. "I hope I will," meowed the cream-colored tabby, adding a silent "if I live that long" in their head. Their conversation with Crimsonsky had resurfaced thoughts about the Dusk Syndicate. That group had been growing more violent ever since SkyClan came to liberate the Clans, and with a sinking feeling Fennel wondered if they would try to start a war with the Clans. Yellow hues dulling ever-so-slightly during their depressing thoughts, they felt yet another bundle of fur at their side.

This time, it hit them much harder. "Oof," the new deputy coughed, cracking a light smile at the apprentice that was revealed after they steadied themself. Remorapaw. Their stammering was quite amusing, they had to admit. They are your kit, you know,, they scolded themself. Laughing at their children would only degrade them, and Remora already seemed to be embarrassed enough as it was. It would do no good. None at all! "Thank you, Remora," they purred, looking down at their adopted kit. Warmth radiated from their gaze, one that had already been brightened since having forgotten about the Dusk Syndicate. It was swept out of their mind with the arrival of Remora and Jay.

With the appointment of deputy came a new thought, one that burned in the back of their mind. They would have many new duties to carry on their shoulders, and to be honest, Fennel wasn't all that sure that they'd be able to complete those tasks as well as the previous deputies had. Organizing patrols, advising the leader, and other responsibilities such as those were straightforward. The other ones, however, ones that Fennelnose had yet to figure out what they would be, worried them. They would have to be very, very social throughout the Clan, wouldn't they? It was obvious that they were not... refined, for lack of a better word. They chose to base their beliefs on mere speculation and what they thought was true, not what their clanmates believed. Many cats would dislike that. Fennelnose was not all that crazy about StarClan, and they were not all that angry about the second Evil Era, either. Those beliefs alone would anger many of their clanmates. Barely a hint of what they were thinking showed on their face, but their thoughts were exploding in their mind, just waiting to be released by the vaguest of questions.

Will I ever be able to live up to ThunderClan's expectations?

Nightbreeze smiled. She could see faintly, as he stopped the uncomfortable state in which he entered when answering her questions. She couldn't really understand fully why he was so keen on answering those questions, but she shrugged it off. Best not to dwell on it. He had answered her and that was what she had wanted. "Well, that's great that you've been on a run today. I honestly think you would have made a fine Windclan cat as well. But I am glad you are in Thinderclan, you help make this place complete. Without you, nothing would be the same my dear Bluedust." She purred encouragingly. She liked being uplifting. Happy Clan happy life, right? If she could do her oart in encouraging her Clanmates, she knew that her words made a difference. Words always made a difference, especially to those who thought they were incapable of being welcomed, admired and loved. Barkskip had been the same way as a kit, so she encouraged him. Now he was fully accepted as a warrior. She was glad tha he seemed to be doing fine, but she doubted 'fine' was all he was thinking. As fast paced as he was, he was probably a swirling flurry of emotions, that was, if his emotions swayed and moved as fast as his legs and mouth. She loved her friend, but she had to admit, it was hard to understand him sometimes, with his slurred speech. She tended to avoid the subject though, thinking it as a sensitive subject. She was snapped back to reality by his question. "Oh yes, Storkflight seems to be doing fine. Already earned himself an apprentice. Hopefully he's enjoying training a young cat. He never had a good mentor, she never really trained him. That's when Barkskip took over for him and taught him. It's why the two are so close now. They're the closest pair of brothers I have seen in a while, especially since they are both adopted kits of mine. They're doing great though, although I think it's taking Storkflight some time to get used to being a warrior. He'll grow into it soon though, this is everything he's ever wanted, and now he's achieved it. Most likely, he is searching for a new goal in life."

''An apprentice, eh?'' Bluedust asked, cocking his head to the side. It was a good thing he had one, nothing wrong with it. The tom thought the younger tom was a bit too young to have his first apprentice. Though Bluedust could not have a say in it, for he never had an apprentice and he was already thirty moons old! Not that he was too old to take one on. He figured that within a couple more moons that he would be ready to join the senoir's den. He was happy that he most likely wouldn't be alone. Nightbreeze would be there, always chirpy and sweet as she was. He was thankful for cats like her. As he finally settled down and listened to her, the tom asked. ''Ah, yes, there's many good mentors in thunderclan, but there's always that one bad mentor you have to watch out for. It's amazing that he had Barkskip to help him in his time of need.'' The tom answered, hopping to his paws once again. It was quite humorous that she believed he would had made a great windclan cat. The tom didn't believe that he would had made great at any clan. He knew windclanners were fastest within the clans, having to be known for their remarkable speed, like the Riverclan cats were known for their remarkable swimming abilities. Every clan was great at something, and he wondered what Thunderclan was best at? What Shadowclan was best at? What skyclan was best at? It was nice to be known for your attributes, but Bluedust wanted to be known for something much more than that. He continuously thought about leaving the clans to seek what called his name, but he couldn't leave behind his most treasured friends. Even if he knew they would do great without him. They have been doing great with him, anyway. The tom lightly moved his paws, digging his claws into the earth ground to keep away from agitation. As he looked up at Nightbreeze, he hoped he didn't seem weird, but he realized that he haven't asked her how she was doing, other than taking care of her...oh, so many adopted kits. And, honestly, Bluedust enjoyed watching the kits. They were growing up pretty fast, and Nightbreeze didn't take a second thought once she decided that she would adopt more. What a caring cat she was. And, how rude had he been to not ask her how she was doing. The tom hissed at himself before turning back to her, mustering a bright smile. ''How are you doing though? What have you been up to?''

Moonpaw was excited that flamepaw will go hunting with her and train beside her. She padded away and jumped on thrushwing. He was surprised for a bit, but shook off the small apprentice. She landed on her paws and looked up at thrushwing.
"Will you teach me how to further hunt with flamepaw and her mentor?" She asked her mentor who was looking at the two other cats then back at moonpaw.

"Sure, this is also an opportunity to teach you the basics of fighting." He mewed. While padding to the other cats. Moonpaw followed close behind and stopped when she arrived with the others.

Foxkit bounded out into the clearing, ginger fur ruffled and eyes blearily blinking in the sunlight. The little she-kit stopped for a moment to cast her orange gaze around the camp before heading towards a small bush at the edge. She crept towards it, ears pricked and eyes open, scanning for any sign of a beetle,
or butterfly. Reaching the bush, Foxkit sat there for a moment, then turned away, disappointed that there were no insects for her to catch this morning.
Foxkit quickly found another way to entertain herself though, and started stalking a leaf blowing gently in the wind. It wasn't too fast, and the kit quickly caught up with it, and made a clean pounce to catch it beneath her small paws. "I got it!"
She announced loudly, not caring if anyone heard her.

Snowyclaw’s tail and paws dragged a little as he walked into the clearing, exhausted from a rather busy day of an average warrior. He was about ready to rest his aching muscles in the warriors’ den with a quick nap, even though he could never bring himself to sleep if the sun wasn’t fully down. Even if he was ready for death he’d keep himself up somehow. Though his thoughts of complaints vanished at the sight of a young, thick-furred ginger she-cat playing with a leaf. He chuckled and smiled slightly at the sight of the playful kit. At least- he thought she was a kit? Ah, she looked young enough to be one. He sat, fluffy raccoon-striped tail curling neatly and gently over his white paws. May as well watch since, y’know, I’ve got nothing else to do.
When she caught her pretend prey, his smile brightened. “Good job!” He mewed his little praise in a cheerful and rather kit-like tone, “Now if only you could do that with a mouse..” He tilted his head with a playful smile-smirk. “Keep it up, you’ll be a great hunter some day!”

"Sure." He responded, playfully flicking her with his tail. Stoneheart lay down beside Crowsong. "I wonder when the clan will notice me again." He said to himself. The sky was setting and it was around twilight. The sky was red, purple, pink, orange and blue, with soft clouds dotted around. "Twilight...." He whispered. "We should probably go back now. We can go hunting in the morning."
Stoneheart got up onto his feet and tilted his head, waiting for Crowsong's response.
"I'm sure the Clan will notice you again, soon.", Crowsong mewed. She got to her paws and looked in the direction of camp. "Come on, let's go!", the she-cat said. (Did I never reply to this post???)

Pathos

Among the crowd of cheering cats was a white molly with a... "unique" appearance of a tail who seemed to be cheering the loudest. She bounced up and down for her best friend. Gyrestar was the leader of ThunderClan for only a short moment before his deputy had to step in as leader and appoint her deputy. The newly appointed deputy? It was her own best friend. A best friend who didn't seem to judge her for her odd tail, and that made her glad. Not all cats had a taste for not bringing her tail to attention, it doesn't matter what kind of light it was in, good or bad. The white molly who was named after the bright dawn and the personality of a cloud, soft and dreaming, couldn't help but be excited, her tail waggled in happiness. She tried to find a way towards her friend. She would leap other cats' heads or slip underneath their bellies making their way towards Fennelnose. As hopped and skipped she called out to her. "Fennelnose! Fennelnose!" Her calls to her friend would get louder as she gets closer.

She meowed, her tone hinting that this should be a well known fact. She let the leaf go and bounded over the the warrior, starting to pace around him. "What's the territory like? I've been out there before, but my mother dragged me back inside. Apparently I'm not allowed to go out there. That's a mouse-brained rule!" Foxkit's voice changed drastically during her onslaught of questions and statements, from light and happy, to unforgiving and agitated. "If you took me out to the territory, could I go? I'm already 4 moons! I can hunt, and fight." Foxkit dropped to the ground behind Snowyclaw, her orange eyes focused on his tail swishing back and forth. "I'll catch your tail, and prove that I am worthy of being an apprentice right now, okay? Okay." Foxkit didn't wait for the warrior's response, she just leapt for his tail.

He knew windclanners were fastest within the clans, having to be known for their remarkable speed, like the Riverclan cats were known for their remarkable swimming abilities. Every clan was great at something, and he wondered what Thunderclan was best at? What Shadowclan was best at? What skyclan was best at? He continuously thought about leaving the clans to seek what called his name, but he couldn't leave behind his most treasured friends. Even if he knew they would do great without him. As he looked up at Nightbreeze, he hoped he didn't seem weird, but he realized that he haven't asked her how she was doing, other than taking care of her...oh, so many adopted kits. Nightbreeze nodded. Her long black fur swished a little as she did so, and her green orbs lit up with pride. "Yes, I know..it seems early, but I think he'll do well with it. He always liked Hanging around the nursery with the younger kits. It would be a shock to me if he didn't already know his apprentice from his time spent in the nursery. Of course now that I think about it, he seemed to hang around this one little she kit more than anything. Her name was Owlkit, I think but I believe she received her apprentice ceremony at the same time Storkflight became a warrior." She paused, thinking. Was there something she was missing here? Something more than playful visits? Hmm, she would have to ask him later. "Oh me?" She asked, quite startled at the question. As she thought though, she realized just how much she tended to not focus on herself, and for her kits. She didn't really know what she had been up to, just caring for the kits, hanging around with her sister, taking the occasional stroll through the territory to clear her mind. She didn't know what to say, nor how to say it. She didn't like focusing in herself, she thought that taking self indulgence meant a slip 'n slide to pride and flattery, stuck up, and mannerless. Everything a Nightbreeze couldn't be if she continued adopting kits. So she replied very simply, not wanting to sound rude and just ignore or turn away the question. "Well, nothing much, besides caring for the kits, and helping my sister out. She expecting, her second litter! The last one, it didn't go too well, only one live kit out of three total. Hopefully she'll manage a better time this go." She said, glancing back to the nursery, where she knew Ravenstorm was resting up.

Moonfeather looked down at her four beautiful bundles of joy. "This one is Thunderkit." She rested her tail on the eldest kit, a blond she-kit with white paws and tail tip."This is Echokit." She licked a small black and silver she-kit." This is Darkkit." Moonfeather rubbed the youngest kit, a weak brown and black tom-kit."And this big boy is Sunkit." She put her tail on the blond and brown tom-kit. Moonfeather smiled at Spottedkit.

"Is Sunkit named after hid dad," She said.

The Eye Of The Storm
The scent of herbs naturally caught the young apprentices attentions everytime he walked near the medicine cat den and ever since his original mentor was forced to retire from age he had nothing but time on his paws. Yet to receive a new mentor Oatpaw was assigned to regular boring apprentice chores. I might as well see if Wheatfur needs anything. He also might as well finally enter the den he had been lurking around for ages.
"Wheatfur, may I come in?" He asked in the most respectful tone he could muster up right after giving his curly coat a few licks, but because of his LaPerm breed grooming couldn't straighten his fur.

{Sorry its a bit short, I can't think of anything.}
Wheatfur looked up at the young apprentice, and widened his eyes. "What is it now? A broken ankle? A dislocated jaw? Ive been getting injured cats all morning, surely your ok? I can't smell any sickness." The tom mewed irritably, "Well, come in if you need to. But b quiet, I have patients here. And I won't let the be disturbed." He auromaticly padded over to the water-pool and soaked some moss in it. "I have moss, if your thirsty. The tom didn't really mind the apprentice coming in, he was just tired. He paced over to the herbs, ready to grab whatever was needed. He raised his eyes "Are you going to ask for something?"

(Meant to post this a few days ago, but oh well)

Ravenstorm collapsed in her nest, a burning pain covering her body. Contractions. It was happening yet again, boy how she realized she hadn't missed this feeling. She wondered if all she cats felt the pain as much as she was, or if it was only because of her body. She knew she ran risks when deciding to bear kits. Kits didn't come as easily for her as they did for others. She was heaving and sighing, breaths coming in short pants. Already she was growing exhausted. Where was Nightbreeze? Her sister had been here to help last time she had done this. She had been there to console her when three of the four kits died, either as they came, or shortly after. They had mostly all been stillborns, but one little tom kit had made it. He was taken to Windclan with his father, and Ravenstorm hadn't heard from him since. That was, until several moons ago when she received word from her little Hazelpaw, her only living son, through a Starclan sent dream, saying he had been murdered by a Singenight supporter. She had been crushed yet again. Now she had no living kits. Now, after meeting Quietstream, she had tried again. This time seemed to be going better. Better, except for the fact that neither Quietstream nor Nightbreeze were here to help.

She was interrupted by a very abrupt strike of pain. She felt a warm ball land beside her, a first kit. A dark gray, ashen colored ball of fur. A tom kit. It laid unmoving. Ravenstorm cried out in agony, another still born. That made four still born kits, out of her two litters. Another kit came out. This one was silvery gray kit with white chest and paws. (@snowdrop ). This one seemed to be breathing, decently well. Ravenstorm let out a sigh of relief. The pains stopped and ebbed away, letting the black feline relax. She leaned forwards, grabbing the gray kit gently in her mouth, ready to check on it and make sure it would be okay. But, as soon as she grabbed it, her body went rigid again, and she had to let it fall back down again. Another kit popped out. A small white black she kit. Ravenstorm purred and leaned forwards to lick it as well. She touched it, and it gave a little squeak. She picked it up, seeing it was having some difficulties breathing. She brought it to her paws, but before she could do anything to help, it's life slipped away. Ravenstorm's mouth gaped open in agony and horror. Another one lost, but one more to come. This one, a small white she kit, it's fur fluffy, even though it was so young. (@starfall ) She grabbed the two living kits and pulled them close to her, purring sweetly to them. "It's alright my babies, I will keep you safe. Nothing will happen to my little warriors." she said calmly, tears streaming down her face. She had just given a brief life to two kits who had never had a chance to see the world.

The golden warrior licked his maw and jumped when he heard a voice. The warrior let out a laugh and looked at his new companion "Great Starclan you scared the fur off of me!" he laughed, his face bright, his smile wide. He didn't mind such greetings, after all it was a great way to make memorable moments, and honestly weird greetings were his favorite way to do it. Although she didn't say anything weird or do anything weird he managed to make it weird, and thinking of that just made the Tom laugh even louder. After many moments of laughing he finally took a few deep breaths and wiped his eyes with the back of his paw, a few giggles escaping his lips. "I- hah, I don't believe we have. It's very nice to meet you! My names Dayhum." he purred, his tail flicking back and forth a low hum coming from his throat. After a few seconds of staring, wondering why her gaze kept flicking to the spot next to him he let out a gasp and laughed again "Ah! I'm sorry! I thought you were looking at a spider next to me! Please lay down, rest. No need to ask...although I guess it's the polite thing to do huh. Oh hey! I think I've seen you around a few times...I think. Oh no I think that's someone else! Sorry forget what I just said." he laughed, his blue hues danced with joy. Dayhum shifted his weight onto his side and smiled brightly at his newfound friend "Hey, hey, which one do you like more? Birds or mice?? Oh! Oh! Would you rather eat a fish or fall face first in a pile of dung?" he asked, he couldn't help it, he was excited, he had just made a new friend.

Duskflight

A comfortable warmth suffocated the den, leaving kits and queens alike lulled into soft and peaceful sleep. Badgerkit had gotten used to it, it soothed her to be quite honest, but she was definitely ready to become an apprentice. The old kit suddenly found that instead of being amazed and excited whenever new kits were born, she found them annoying and loud, causing her to get little sleep during the night. The Queens were so chatty as well! What could an almost apprentice do to get some sleep around here?

Badgerkit rolled over in her nest, moss entangled in her short fur as her tiny eyes drifted sleepily around the den. Usually Badgerkit was used to the younger kits bothering her, but it seemed that most of them were sleeping or playing elsewhere. Breathing a sigh of relief the little cat pulled herself to her paws and shook the moss free of her pelt, clawing the loose scraps together into a poorly made moss ball.

Swatting it between her paws for a few moments, Badgerkit lowered herself down to the ground, performing a sloppy hunting stance. It's a mouse in the nursery! It's only a job Badgerstar could handle! I need to protect the queen and kits! Her tail flicked back and forth for a brief second before the young cat made a large leap over the moss ball and landing on another kit with a loud shriek.

(I'm okay with both of those suggestions. Tell me the ideas for their future kits! X333) Crowsong woke up and yawned. She got to her paws and stretched. The fluffy gray she-cat padded over to Stoneheart. "Let's go hunting!", she meowed. (I gtg. I'll rp with you some more with Crowsong tomorrow.)

Ok, I'll pm you the kit pictures and stuff and about the mate for Birchleaf)
"Ok, my dear," Stoneheart purred, "where are we off to for hunting?"
He gazed into her enchanting eyes and smiled dreamily. Oh, she's so beautiful..... He shook himself out of the trance and started to get lost in his own thoughts......

(It's really no problem! Just write whatever you're comfortable with)
Oatpaw shook his head, "No, no, I'm fine." He assured the medicine cat while sliding deeper into the den. His pawsteps were light as to not rouse the sleeping patients, but it wasn't all that hard for him to keep quiet as he was a rather delicate young tom. He stopped in front of the herb store and right as he was lifting a paw to shift the out of place leaves he jumped a bit at Wheatfur's voice. "Oh, well I'm here to assist you." Oatpaw met the medicine cats gaze respectfully with gleaming silver eyes and stood tall as if they were equals, even though the older tom had much more skill, respect and experience. "That is if you'll allow me to. I don't want to step on your paws." Many saw him as a strange apprentice as he was so formal but often times would refuse to dip his head because he found it plain annoying when someone was acting superior, or worse, patronizing him.

Snowsong tipped her head as if thinking about it, before replying with a smirk. "I dont know, we'll have to see. You know." She flicked her black tail tip over Stormstrike's ears with a smile.

"Yeah, no kidding!" The Siamese laughed, amusement sparkling through her ice blue eyes as she shook her head. "When we go back out, Stormy, we have to bring home at least twenty pieces of prey." She chuckled. Of course, that was completely impossible, Snowsong knew, but joking around and laughing was what she loved to do. Her tail brushing over Stormstrike's shoulder, she headed toward the tree, glancing back to make sure he was beside her. "Hey, you remember when we were apprentices, and I told you I thought you were brave?" A smile twitched at her maw. "You proved that, once more, today, you know, when you told me you loved me."

The stormy grey warrior chuckled softly. "Well I doubt this fish reference free moment will last very long," Stormstrike remarked,
nudging her shoulder playfully. Everything was always way more fun around Snowsong. It didn't seem to matter to him that she was the deputy, the siamese was his best friend and mate, that's how it would always be.

"Let's just take the time to define 'at least'," Stormstrike replied,
laughing at her response. Twenty pieces might be a tad bit much for them to bring back, but the warrior would do it in a heartbeat if Snowsong asked him. That is, if she asked him and seriously meant it. Otherwise, the tom was rather doubtful that he was capable of such a feat. A soft smile rested on the warrior's maw as he padded alongside his mate. Being in camp always seemed to remind him of so many good memories. Lots of great things had happened in just this one area, and more had also happened in the territory. One particular memory would always have a special place in his heart. Stormstrike quickly turned his pale blue gaze back to his mate as she spoke again. Her words made his affections increase further than he thought they could. He opened his jaws to say something when suddenly one of his back paws caught on something and he felt himself tumbling to the ground. He collapsed on the ground with a grunt, landing on his back. The squirrel however had tumbled out of his jaws in the process, now splayed across the ground. Lifting his head and turning back, it didn't take long for the warrior to spot what had caused his downfall. A stick. It brought back bad memories. Memories of embarrassment. It was the one where he had tripped over a stick in front of Snowsong, Snowpaw at the time. He had felt himself holding a few grudges against that stick. After all, no one liked to be embarrassed in front of their crush, luckily Snowsong had comforted him.
Looking back, he could tell that now the stick's junior had come and decided to play a few tricks as well. Stormstrike narrowed his eyes at the stick, and for a moment looked like he was about to lose his confidence like he had all those moons ago. But he didn't. Instead, he burst out laughing.

(Okay even I just started giggling right now XDD)
Snowsong snickered at him, shaking her head in amusement. "You're right, it probably wont last that long." She purred with a grin. It was always so much more fun when she was around him. She loved him. She always would.

Snowsong giggled at his next sentence, giving a roll of her ice blue eyes. "Twenty is a bit much. I'll settle for eight." She paused, wondering if eight was maybe a tad much to expect. But instead she shook her head and looked at her mate, then her eyes flickered to the stick just ahead of him. "Stormy--" She began with a small smile twitching at her lips, but before she could warn him he had already tripped, and before she knew it the Tom was on his back. Snowsong's mouth opened, gazing at her mate, then the stick, then the squirrel, and then Stormstrike again, and it was silent until a burst of giggles erupted from her maw.

The Siamese couldnt help herself. But, she wasnt laughing at him - She was laughing with him, as he was laughing too. "Boy, that brought back memories!" Snowsong giggled, her eyes blue eyes shining with amusement and affection as she padded forward, looking down at the gray Tom as another giggle escaped her. "You okay?"

Snowsong nodded and gave a small smile to his words. "We can talk if you want, or you can talk. Im a good listener." She winked at him before standing, shaking out her short, almost prickly white fur. "And good idea. I'll go get us some food. Im not busy at the moment so I have time to sit and talk." She gave him a warm smile, then turned and trotted off toward the fresh-kill pile, her ears pricked.

She wondered what the Tom could be upset about. Did he lose someone? Was he sick? A frown pulled at the corners of her mouth as the thought crossed her mind but she shook it off and let her eyes rake over the fresh-kill pile, padding closer to it. She was at a good pace, but thinking made her slower than usual. I wont make him tell me.

But, She decided as she walked, head high. I can get to know him, and see if I can cheer him up. Thats what matters, and I hate seeing cats upset like this. She was hoping to turn ThunderClan around, to help Gyrestar start a new, better era. What with everything that had happened so far, the fire...

We lost Fernpaw then. Snowsong's ears twitched, and laid back against her head. Her steps faltered for a second before she continued forward. Her sisters death had taken quite a toll on her for the longest of times. She wasnt sure if she would ever really get over it, but she knew that Fernpaw would want her to. Her sister would want her to become a good deputy and maybe one day, leader. But that wasnt important, not as important as serving her Clan to the best of her ability. Thats what Fernpaw would want.

And then there was the Evil Era. Just thinking about it sent shivers down Snowsong's spine. Ratnight had been a cruel leader, almost destroying the Clan. Snowsong recalled the battle with SkyClan, and still couldnt help a faint prickle of guilt. That was the first time she'd ever fought for another Clan, and she wasnt sure she would ever stop feeling bad about that. Though, she couldnt exactly regret it....After all, more blood would have been spilled had SkyClan not won. Had StarClan not won.

And after that had destroyed Snowsong and her siblings. Blackstorm had turned, switching sides in the blink of an eye. She would never forget that, what her brother had done. Killing their father, driving Honeyfur and Eternal out of the territory out of guilt, and then leading Snowsong, her siblings and friends out of ThunderClan into a wasteland, no food, no water, they almost starved. They would have, if not for Honeyfur and Eternal's return. They'd finally chased Blackstorm, Goldensky, and Oakmark out of the territory. She hadnt seen them since.

And then Splashheart had left ThunderClan to go to RiverClan. Snowsong had to smile, shaking her head. Her sister had made the right choice for herself and her kits. No cat should grow up without parents, Snowsong knew this better than anyone. They'd made it to apprentices without their parents, until Roarclaw finally showed up with Fiercestorm and Swiftbreeze. It had been a day to remember, but Snowsong couldnt get it out of her head how Splashheart had been so silent, how Blackstorm had been so cold. She had been so confused when Blackstorm admitted to killing Fiercestorm, and even more confused when Splashheart snapped Swiftbreeze when her mother hadnt respected her decision to leave. But Snowsong had sat, she'd thought.

Now she understood.

Snowsong let her breath out slowly as she reached the fresh-kill pile. The thoughts fell out of her head almost instantly, hiding away for another time. Snowsong lowered her head and grabbed two squirrels in her maw by their tails, turning to head back to Finchcall. In any case, Snowsong wanted everyone in her Clan to be happy and safe. Starting with this Tom. Life was a story, right? Everyone deserved a happily-ever-after.

With a smile, she made her way back over to him, her ice blue eyes warm and friendly. She would make sure, no matter what, that ThunderClan's story had a happy ending.

(sooo sorry for the late reply! :c)

The dark tom watched Snowsong as she began to get up to get some fresh-kill. He felt a bit awkward talking to her still. He couldn't help but feel as though she should be spending her time doing something more important than sitting and conversing with him. She was deputy after all. Besides, he doubted that their conversation will be fun - he wasn't planning on opening up to her so soon, and she seemed more intent on listening rather than talking. He wondered if they would sit in silence, and hoped that if that were to be the case than maybe he wouldn't be an awkward silence? Though he doubted it. Snowsong didn't seem as awkward as he was. He still doubted that he deserved her attention.

But she seemed very kind and friendly... it was refreshing to spend some time with someone like that.

He found his yellow gaze drifting away from the deputy and he watched the trees for a moment, just thinking about a certain silver tabby that he hadn't seen in moons. Is she even still alive? Finchcall silently questioned. It wasn't a new question to his thoughts. In fact, that was the most common when he thought about Crescentmoon. He would also usually think whether she'd be interested in him now since Northpath has been dead for a few moons. Of course, Finchcall knew deep down that to her he was just a friend and nothing more.

And he knew he had to get over her.

They had been friends - and he believed that he had loved her - but she's been gone for many moons now and he knew that she wasn't coming back. She never reciprocated his feelings anyway. Every time he thought back on it he realized that they weren't actually as close as he had thought - or rather hoped - they were. And the tom knew that he had to move on... it wasn't healthy to hang onto it like this, yet he found it too hard and barely even tried to continue.

Finchcall suddenly turned as Snowsong padded in his direction with fresh-kill in her jaw. He straightened up a bit as he approached him once again, deciding that he might actually talk to her after all. He wouldn't say anything too sad right off the bat, but he might as well try and talk to someone, right? And why not Snowsong? She seemed to want him to let her know what was bothering him. He forced a small smile as she reached him. He wasn't sure what to say.... "What would you like to talk about?" He mewed, clearly awkward though he tried not to come off as that way.

"Happy and energetic" Foxclaw answered honestly. It was then when he realized he was unusually energetic. It was his first time from what he could remember that he woke up really happy and overjoyed. Since the incident, he had been having strange coughing fits and occasional breathing problems, but those were now rare these days. He felt like he regained the happy emotion he had been missing on. 'What's happening to me?' He thought, however he liked the feeling, so he didn't think more than that. "How come I never seen you around?" He asked after a few moments of hesitation.

Tinypaw walked into the clearing, a mouse filling her jaws. She dropped the prey into the fresh kill pile and took a decent sized rabbit. She laid down near two cats she didn't know the name of and silently ate her rabbit. The two cats seemed to be having a friendly conversation. 'I wish I could talk to people like that..' Tinypaw thought. Tinypaw always got nervous when talking and her amber fur always seemed to burn. The only people she could really talk to was her mother and her litter mates.

Wingdrop smiled, she was glad this cat was so happy. She liked seeing others happy, it made her even happier! Her ears twitched a bit at the question, "I am usually out of camp, actually! I liked to spend my time climbing the trees or I am constantly asking to go on patrol. I usually bring a few friends but every cat has been busy!" She mewed. It seemed like most of her friends were having kits, getting mates, or training apprentices. For being such a social she-cat she actually didn't have many friends. She didn't mind it much actually but she was keeping herself out of camp more then usual.

She thought. "Are you going to be doing any training today, young one?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

Amberflame liked her new name. A lot. Technically it wasn't really new, she'd had it for a little while now... but all the same she thought it suited her. Yawning, the feline stretched out, unsheathing her claws and scraping them against the ground. Ooh, that felt nice. She hadn't been able to stretch her claws in quite a while-- a few days, to be exact. Pretty much all she'd had time for were necessities-- she'd been busy. The warrior life wasn't exactly all glamor and friendship, love and trust... there were downsides too. It was a lot of work! But finally, the uniquely colored feline had some time to rest. Just a bit of down time, the very thing that she needed so desperately. And, perhaps a conversation. With someone who wasn't going to insult her intelligence by calling her a 'sweet girl' or telling her she had a 'pretty face.' Was that all anyone in the Clans cared about anymore? Pretty faces and sweet girls? Ugh, it was enough to make anyone sick. Especially Amberflame. The she cat got to her paws, stretching out once more before she lay down, curling her fluffed up tail around herself. It was a quirk the feline had; whenever she got annoyed, her tail would fluff out and make her look even prettier, though that wasn't the female's goal. Her goal was to be known as an intelligent cat. Not a pretty one.

Duskpaw padded out of the apprentices' den, and glanced around the camp. It was too late for her to do her apprentice duties before a patrol. 'So many cats out here...' she thought. She glanced around to see if there was a place to sit in peace and quiet until her mentor appeared and took her on patrol. She decided to go near Amberflame, as it was the least populated area of the clearing, at least as far as Duskpaw could see it was. She glanced to the pretty she-cat and nodded her head in greeting, then sat down and watched the bustling camp. It made Duskpaw feel a bit funky to be so close to the other she-cat, but oh well. She'd get over it. Maybe it was just the morning air.

"Good morning, Duskpaw." A smile formed on Amberflame's maw as she greeted the other she cat with a broad grin. She was one of the few that didn't treat her just like a 'pretty face.' Thank goodness; because Amberflame quite liked the other cat. The tip of her tail flicked, and the young warrior yawned a little. Was she really that tired? "I trust you're doing well?" She asked. Amberflame had an odd way of twisting statements into questions, and questions into statements. Not always, but sometimes. It was confusing at first until you were able to see what exactly she was doing. In which case confusion turned to realization, and realization turned to acceptance. Such was the path that Amberflame had chosen to inflict upon other cats, confusing them to no end. Shame on me, yeah, yeah. She thought with the slightest of smiles. She glanced over at the other cat again, cocking her head to one side as she looked at her. A yawn escaped her maw, along with a quick wink. The she cat might seem strict sometimes, but yes; even Amberflame had her moments. They were few and far between, and very, very fleeting... and yet they were still there all the same.

Duskpaw glanced to the older cat beside her, nodding her answer to Amberflame's question. She then went back to watching the other cats, flicking her tail in only slight annoyance. Most of it was toward herself as opposed to her companion, as Duskpaw appreciated how strict Amberflame usually was. 'If only I could figure out how she's able to have these... fun moments,' she thought as she glanced around. She started wondering where Falconclaw was. Patrols started leaving a bit ago and Duskpaw wanted to get out of the hustle and bustle of the clearing. Maybe Amberflame would take her somewhere? Nah, she couldn't ask a new warrior to do something Duskpaw wasn't sure was okay. Even so, she glanced at the companion she'd made. "Amberflame, do you know where Falconclaw is?" she asked in her raspy voice. It wasn't very often that Duskpaw spoke unless it was to ask questions during training, which made her once sweet, soothing voice harsh and raspy. Maybe one day it would fix itself, but she didn't really care if it did.

Falconclaw? Did Amberflame know... oh, he was that grumpy warrior. The one who made her look like a playful kit. Not everyone could do that, he was indeed a skilled warrior. "Old grump face. I don't know where he is." Her voice was light and airy, making the situation seem as though it were nothing. Which of course, it wasn't. It was actually quite serious that Falconclaw wasn't here to train his young apprentice, and she was annoyed by this. I don't care where he is, though. It's his job to look after himself, he's a big boy. She thought sarcastically. Toms always seemed to be getting themselves into trouble. And, while Amberflame found some quite sweet... she found most annoying. Irritating. And for the most part, not even that handsome. What did she cats see in them? Though Amberflame had had those little kitty crushes before... heart stopping moments when she'd made eye contact with a harder working tom. She'd loved those moments. Especially because she'd done absolutely nothing about them, and let them just grow and fester until they turned into... ugh, just absolutely awful experiences. But of course, Amberflame didn't care. She wouldn't have cared even if the toms had given her a lick of attention. For all she knew they were flirting with some other she cat now, letting them suffer. She found flirts amusing... and oh, it was so much fun to shoot them down. They were incredibly easy to do that to, as well. How? She had no idea, but it seemed to be possible all the same. "Tell you what. We could go for a walk, give you something to do." She offered with a grin, flexing her claws slightly. She desperately needed something to do, anyways. So really, Duskpaw was just offering her a bit of interest while she waited for Minkpaw. That apprentice... they were sweet, sure, but sweetness never won a battle. She'd have to figure out Minkpaw's strong points before the apprentice got herself hurt or killed. Thank goodness that probably wouldn't be happening anytime soon-- as far as she knew, anyways.

Amberflame, on the other hand, didn't look too thrilled at the arrival of the younger cat. Her hues were colder then they should have been, and her expression was displeased. But, after a moment of the apprentice looking at her like that, Amberflame's own expression softened. After all, it was normal to be excited-- sometimes overexcited-- at the prospect of becoming an apprentice. It was a wonderful thing! And they were already an apprentice. Amberflame looked them over, her own hues carefully guarded and somewhat sterner then they needed to be, but at least they were looking directly at her. "Minkpaw." Her voice was calm, collected... maybe stern was too strong of a word to describe it, but it was definitely somewhere along those lines. Stern might have been a good word to describe it. Calm was probably better, however-- Amberflame wasn't exactly a stern cat.

"Excited much?"
She asked, noting their expression, their paws shuffling eagerly as though they just couldn't sit still, and the light of excitement shining in their eyes. Of course they would have that light. Practically every new apprentice or warrior Amberflame had seen in her life had that light. She had had it, on the day when she first became a warrior. But it wasn't that great. It definitely wasn't the glorified, amazing experience that everyone seemed to put up on a pedestal. It wasn't even anywhere close to that type of experience. But it was one that no one would ever forget, thanks to name changes and new responsibilities. Why were there always so many changes in a Clan? You changed your name, your rank... sometimes appearance and personality changed with age and rank as well.

As far as Amberflame knew, the Dusk Syndicate cats didn't go through that type of junk. They had the same name their whole life. Not always the same rank, though. And Healers were looked down upon, apparantly. The very thought of that made Amberflame angry, but what could she do about it? Nothing. That was what. Absolutely nothing. "Well, if you're ready we can get going. Unless you'd like to jump around a little more?" She asked. The sarcasm in her voice was practically inaudible-- it was hard to tell that she was joking. Mainly because the multi-colored, patterned female didn't joke much. No, she was normally serious. Except, it appeared, for right now. Maybe it was just having an apprentice at all that made Amberflame feel a little more lighthearted. The trust that was put into that, and the fact that Gyrestar had entrusted a new apprentice to her, a new warrior, was very exciting to the feline. She awaited the younger cat's answer to her somewhat sarcastic question before she moved into the territory as she knew they would be doing momentarily
[/CENTER]
Minkpaw was aware of Amberflame's displeasure at first, but they were persistent with their act of excitement. They refused to let their grumpy mentor bring them down, but then her gaze softened, and Minkpaw felt joyful. They disliked the way their mentor said their name - almost as if they were a disgrace, and wanted nothing to do with them. However, that was completely untrue, and it was just Minkpaw creating stories again as they enjoy doing. They often believed others thought lowly of them simply because they were mute, bringing on an air of determination to prove others wrong.

Yes, I'm excited! They offered a small jump of restlessness, their paws rising off the ground no more than half a whisker-length. They briefly gestured to the opening in the camp wall that formed both an entrance and exit - depending on how it's looked at. They made the gesture by shuffling closer - just slightly - to the gaping hole in the wall.

Minkpaw acknowledged Amberflame's somewhat dull sarcasm by rolling their eyes and flicking their tail in response. How would they endure the rude humor of their mentor? And now, seeing that they were both young and inexperienced in their positions - mentor and apprentice - surely Amberflame was going easy on them? They didn't dare imagine how their future with the serious warrior would be. Most likely, unbearable.

Why would she want to give the enemy the upper paw when she could just as easily hide what she was feeling? 'Speaking of feelings...' "Would you help me with hunting?" she asked plainly. It was something she wasn't too good at, despite her quiet nature. Then again, the she-cat was just starting out.

"You okay?"

The stormy grey warrior could hear the siamese laughing as well. If he weren't having such a good day, he probably would've lost all of his self confidence, just like he had all those moons ago. Stormstrike couldn't say he cared so much now, he found this situation rather funny himself.

Hearing the giggle of his mate sent warmth through him. Laughter was a wonderful thing. It was absolutely contagious and was a great thing in many ways. Stormstrike loved hearing the sound of laughter, for it always managed to brighten him up in the worst of times. Most of the time anyway. There were some situations in his life where it seemed that not even laughter could cure his sadness. Snowsong's laugh was one in particular that always made him grow brighter. It was a lovely sound and one he would always remember no matter what happened. "I'm fine," Stormstrike replied, one last chuckle escaping his jaws.

He got up to his paws, still laughing at himself on the inside. It had been quite a while since he had taken a fall like that but it was one that like Snowsong had said, brought back some rather amusing memories. As soon as the grey furred warrior had gained his balance again, he padded over to the stick and picked it up between his jaws. A moment later, a loud crack! was heard as he snapped the stick. He placed down the remains of the now broken stick and looked back at Snowsong, grinning widely.

Robinkit bounded out, her dark, kitten-blue eyes scanning the clearing. She giggled and pounced after a passing butterfly. It landed on a flower, and she lowered her top half, play in her eyes. "I am a warrior..." she whispered, her shoulders moving up and down. "...hunting my prey!" she meowed and lunged for it, but she missed it. She saw the outer area of the territory and a curious, amazed look crossed her face. "Wow, the territory? I wonder what's out there..." she meowed curiously. Then the butterfly was spotted again, this time at a different place. It landed on a stone, flapping it's wings slowly. She stalked closer, and lunged again, but she again missed. So she chased the butterfly, giving cute growls and snarls as she tried to grab it. Then, suddenly since she wasn't paying attention, she ran into a molly, and landed back with an 'oof', before looking up.

Hunting, huh? New apprentices normally wanted help with their fighting. Then again-- Amberflame didn't really know too much about being in control here, she was barely old enough to be a warrior herself. And she was quite young. Young to the point where it was strange, awkward, even that she would be teaching Duskpaw anything. But, the younger feline was asking for her help. She wouldn't call them close... they were barely friends... but, she would call them friends. Not very good friends, she didn't know much about the younger she cat, but she knew that they did have the ability to be close -- somewhat so. Amberflame stretched out, unsheathing her claws and flexing them, grasping at the air aimlessly... or so it seemed... before she stopped. "Sure. Into the territory, then." That was one of those statements that should have been phrased as a question. And yet, once again, she had made it a statement. Such an odd habit for a young warrior to have. Such an odd habit for this one in particular to have, with the level of intelligence that Amberflame posessed, it should have been pretty clear who was in charge: some old habit, or her mind? Apparently the habit, which was the most surprising thing of all.

He obviously didn't mean it though, Stormstrike wasn't one to boast about himself. The tom didn't think he was that great himself so why should he?

It was very true that Stormstrike wasn't confident in himself. The warrior struggled to think good of himself and he wasn't all too confident around other cats either. However, that all seemed to change around Snowsong. Stormstrike became confident and he boasted. When he boasted he was always joking, but at least he was boasting. It was a massive change and it seemed to even surprise himself. This was one of the many reasons why the tom loved being around Snowsong. She always seemed to make him brighten up, even if she wasn't do anything. It was rather strange, but Stormstrike wasn't going to complain anytime soon.

"Well of course! I couldn't let him take charge now could I?" Stormstrike replied, smirking smugly as he looked back at the broken stick. The warrior didn't have the best history with sticks. He tended to trip over them more than the average cat. It was annoying, but at least he was finally doing something about. It appeared that Stormstrike had decided to take action and finally get his long deserved revenge.

Then, suddenly since she wasn't paying attention, she ran into a molly, and landed back with an 'oof', before looking up.

bad company (Im sorry this took like all day ;w; )

A deep sigh was exhaled from the older kits chest as she turned her head, slowly and rhythmically licking her short, soft chest fur back into place. The molly was getting more and more anxious each day that her apprentice ceremony crept up. It wasn't necessarily due to the fact that she was so used to the nursery, or was scared she wouldn't impress whoever her new mentor would be, but it was definitely a combination thereof.

Absentmindedly licking, the molly was startled as something, or rather someone, barreled into her. Fur on end, Badgerkit leaped up, the small almost apprentice looking about twice her size. At the sight of the kit, her hackles slowly fell and she tilted her head, her voice loud as she addressed the other. "Why weren't you watching where you were going? You scared me half to death!" Badgerkit pouted slightly, although she too had been guilty of not watching where she was going. "Are you even old enough to be out of the nursery?"

The young kit's ears fell back as the other molly addressed her, but as she asked if she were old enough, her ears perked. "I'll have you know I am a full grown warrior, I'm just a tinnie tiny wittle kitty!" she meowed and had a sarcastic, joking tone as she said it, and she laughed before seeing the butterfly again. She giggled and jumped for it, chasing it around the molly before she jumped for the butterfly and landed on her side.

She giggled and scrambled off as the butterfly landed, and again pounced for it and failed. The butterfly went over Badgerkit's head and she smiled, and lunged, only to tackle into the larger kit. She laughed and pawed her ears and face. "Sorry." she giggled.

Icepaw blinked sunlight from her eyes as she sat on the edge of the clearing, scanning the area with her brilliant emerald green eyes, studying each of the cats there in turn. Some of them were eating, some grooming themselves, others returning from patrols. It was a pleasant morning, with only a few clouds in the otherwise spotless blue sky and birds twittering in the forest. Today would be a good day for hunting. Icepaw knew very well that training would start soon and that she would probably collapse if she didn't have something to eat. The she cat stood up and stretched, revealing the muscles beneath her shining white pelt and padded over to the fresh kill pile. Her eyes searched it for a while until coming to a rest on a small vole. Carefully she fished it out of the pile and went over to a shaded area to eat. It was enough to satisfy her belly and to keep her going. She would be hunting later to get more fresh kill, since the whole clan relied on the day's haul. But Icepaw didn't mind though. She lived hunting patrols. How do kittypets survive indoors with those pellets for food?she thought as she looked around, savouring the fresh woodland taste of the squirrel. That was, perhaps, a mystery for them all.

Badgerkit rolled her eyes, but purred in amusement as the kit blurted out her rank. The molly's tail twitched back in forth as she watched the small kit leap at the butterfly who always seemed to be one step ahead of her. Dear Starclan, did I used to do that too as a little kit? Butterfly chasing had been her guilty pleasure at one time or another, even now that she was six mons old Badgerkit found herself jealous that this little could chase after a butterfly, but she would look immature for chasing one. Being a kit had it's perks! Startled, she let out a playful yowl as Robinkit tackled her. It wasn't enough to take the Badgerkit down, but it definitely caused her to stumble back. She quickly glanced down at the kit, protesting everything she had done.

"No, no, no, no, no! You're pouncing all wrong- I saw an apprentice do this the other day, and I'm almost an apprentice so I need to at least know how to do it and I'm going to teach you." The young cat puffed her chest out, her boasting said almost matter-o-factly. Badgerkit shook the small thing off of her and lowered her frame to the ground, freezing in a very sloppy, but nonetheless, hunting stance. "Ok, do as I do! First you lower your body to the ground, like this!"

Foxkit looked up from where she was staring at the leaf under her paws. She saw in front of her a warrior, whom she was not at all intimidated by. "I am already a great hunter." She meowed, her tone hinting that this should be a well known fact.

The tom chuckled, “Oh are you?” He was half surprised but also half not surprised at her tone. She was a kit excited to become an apprentice soon, a proud one at that. It was a little cute since she was so young and small, even if she may not want to be called that. Oh well, he’ll just think it. He perked up at the question from the kit. “Oho, the territory is great!” He smiled, laughing lightly at her little story. He was a bit shocked at her change in tone going from one to another so quickly at the mention of the rule. “Mouse-brained, but it keeps you safe.” He mewed with a playful smirk. It wasn’t all that mouse-brained in his opinion, but he went with it anyways. “It’s very dangerous, you never know when a fox could hop out of a bush and take you home for dinner! Keep in mind that you haven’t had a full tour yet, so you maayyyy get lost..” He knew she’d say she wouldn’t be afraid, but that doesn’t make it any more dangerous.
He shook his head, “I’m afraid I cannot take you outside camp, I’ll get in trouble! And you’re mother, man will she never forgive me. You’ve godda wait two more moons, kiddo. It’s not too long before you become an apprentice! And even if you’re the best k-” He stopped when his tail was attacked by the she-kit. He chuckled, “My tail is nothing compared to some of the swift squirrels out there, not that I doubt you being able to catch one. Good job!”

The cats of ThunderClan couldn't possibly accept Snowstar's choice for deputy, could they? Fennelnose was unknown throughout the Clan, a depressed lump of fur with no purpose in life. They weren't living; they were merely existing. They didn't have any reason to get up in the mornings, to join a dawn patrol, to talk to their clanmates, to do anything. But they did it anyway, if only for the sense of routine. However, the promotion to deputy gave them purpose, didn't it? It gave them a reason to get up in the morning, to organize the dawn patrols, to acquaint themself with their clanmates, to do everything. Maybe Snowstar wasn't so inexperienced after all. Maybe Snowstar wanted to cure Fennelnose's depression. Maybe Snowstar didn't care in the slightest about Fennelnose. Maybe Snowstar only appointed them deputy because of their experiences earlier in life. Maybe Snowstar chose Fennelnose from a fleeting thought, a heat-of-the-moment idea. Maybe Fennelnose was thinking too much into this.

They were jerked out of their thoughts by a familiar tail in the crowd, something Fennelnose noticed just before recognizing the voice calling their name. "Dawncloud!" they exclaimed, brushing past their adopted kits and padded towards their closest friend. Dawncloud had always been with them, through thick and thin, and they would need their comfort now more than ever. Their negative thoughts had only been heightened since becoming deputy, ones about Fennelnose being unable to be as good as their clanmates wanted them to be. They would need their friend in the times to come. Sure, Remorapaw and Jayspot were always helpful, but it was... harder to connect with your kit than it was with a friend. There were just some things you didn't talk about with your children. Like depression. That would be a prime example.

Foxkit was listening to the warrior answer her questions, slightly surprised that he heard all of her garble. At the mention of a fox, her ears perked up. She bounded out from behind him and proudly puffed out her chest.
"That's why I'm called Foxkit! Because I'll be able to take down all the foxes in the territory! No fox will kill any cat as long as I'm around!" The little kit seemed quite proud at her own interpretation of her name. At the mention of her mother, Foxkit stopped for a moment. Nobody scared her more than her mother, yet she didn't love anybody as much. Mapleheart was the one and only cat Foxkit listened to. Her mother was stern, but kind and loving towards Foxkit. "I guess that's true. My mother could rip off your pelt if she wanted to!"
Of course the little kit was exaggerating, but she always did that. Foxkit then paced back and forth in front of the warrior, then stopped in front of him again, staring at him through her large orange eyes. "If you're so smart, why don't you teach me how to hunt then?" A sly smile spread across the little she-kits face.

Snowstar made her way to the Highpeak for the second time since she was announced leader. Her ice blue gaze flickered down, and the sight from above was still breathtaking. She'd never realized how huge, how beautiful the camp was before now. Giving a soft smile, the Siamese grunted and gave one more leap to reach the top. One day she'd grow tall enough to do it in one jump, but for now she didnt mind the exercise.

Snowstar gave her fur a few licks before looking up, clearing her throat. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Highpeak for a Clan meeting!" She meowed, her entire body sitffening with unease as she spoke the words. Would she ever get used to it? Would she ever get used to any of it? Shaking these thoughts, she watched the cats begin to gather, and took a deep breath. "Today is a special day for many young cats." Her ice blue eyes glimmered as they skimmed over the crowd, a smile on her maw. "So lets get started on these ceremonies, shall we?"

Duststorm

"Badgerkit, please step forward." Snowstar watched the young cat near, and her smile grew slightly wider. "You have reached the age of six moons. From this day forward, until you have been granted your warrior name, you will be known as Badgerpaw." She remembered her own ceremony, and allowed a chuckle to leave her lips as she turned her gaze to the cat she'd picked out for the mentor. ( Spirit ) "Spiritsight, you are more than ready to take on an apprentice. I trust you will pass down all you've learned onto Badgerpaw."

starfall

"Lightningkit," Snowstar smiled softly, beckoning the young kit forward, watching him near. Her ice blue eyes sparkled, happiness dancing in her hues as she gazed down at the young cat. "You have also reached the proper age for an apprentice, so from this day forward, until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Lightningpaw." Her gaze flickered to the gray furred, blue-eyed Tom she'd picked for the new apprentices mentor, and her eyes sparkled with affection at her mate as she spoke. "Stormstrike ( Empress Of Evil ), you have proved capable of taking on an apprentice. And I trust you will pass down everything you know onto young Lightningpaw." Snowstar turned her gaze to the next cat, still smiling.

The Eye Of The Storm

"Goldenpaw, please step forward." Snowstar mewed next, beckoning the she-cat forward. The name caused her to smile, and she glanced toward her sister, Goldensky, who grinned back in amusement. Snowstar chuckled, and turned her gaze back to Goldenpaw. "I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice, who has trained hard to learn the ways of the Warrior Code. And in turn, I grant her her warrior name. Goldenpaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code, and protect and defend the Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then from this day forward, you will be known as Goldenflare." Snowstar's warm smile widened as she gazed down at the she-cat, tail curling around her paws. "We honor your determination and intellegence, and welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." She dipped her head with a smile, taking a deep breath before looking to the next cat.

Pathos

"Laurelpaw, please step forward." Snowstar nodded to the next cat, her ice blue eyes warm. The Siamese flicked her black tail as she gazed down at the apprentice, soon to be warrior, a smile on her maw. "I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has worked hard to understand the ways of the Warrior Code, and thus, I give her her warrior name. Laurelpaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code, and protect and defend the Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then from this day forward, you shall be known as Laurelbrook." Snowstar grinned brightly, her ice blue eyes shining as she gazed down at the apprentice with a proud smile. "We honor your patience and adaptability, and welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." With that, Snowstar looked to the next cat, smiling.

Spirit

"Now, we have a young rogue who has decided to become a part of ThunderClan. Step forward, little one," Snowstar purred gently, beckoning Runt forward. As the kit neared, Snowstar smiled and continued. "From this day forward until you become an apprentice, you will be known as Antkit." And maybe, She added silently, gazing at the little kit. I'll take you on as my own. Snowstar smiled, and turned her eyes to the next cat.

Rocky

"And there is another cat who wishes to join ThunderClan." She beckoned Jeryll forward, her ice blue eyes glimmering as she smiled. "From this day on, you will be known as Frogbreath. And I hope," She glanced at her Clanmates, smiling softly. "Everyone will treat him as a full ThunderClan warrior, because that is what he is now."

With that, Snowstar tensed and leaped off of the Highpeak with ease, the Siamese landing on her paws with a quiet thump. She smiled, looking at her Clan with pride sparkling in her ice blue eyes. With a dip of her head, she mewed, "Clan dismissed. I hope you all have a great day." She purred softly before turning and padding into her den, her tail flicking.

A small little fur ball erupted through the entrance to the nursery. The orange and gray kit had been able to escape the grasps of his sisters who were so pestering in their dumb little games. Vireokit wanted to teach them real fun, in pranking and deceiving, but they just wouldn't listen. Always had to be their way, never his. He was always 'out numbered' by them. His mom wasn't much help either, always laughing at his sisters, encouraging them. They were just....annoying. Why could they understand that he had his own things he wanted to do? Maybe he should take revenge on them. Play a joke on them. Scare them. Just do....something to them. Something that would make them leave him alone. Yeah, that would be nice. Revenge sounded good, but his mother would skin him alive if he did that. Okay...maybe not such a good idea. He would have to find something else to do...something mischievous. Something daring, something bold. He could sneak out of the camp? No, too risky, his mother would surely discover that. Maybe slip in and mess around in the medicine cat den? Just take a few herbs and switch their piles around just to mess with Wheatfur? Nah, he had seen some of the medicine cat, not exactly the kit friendly type. Maybe he could make a giant smoke cloud with loose sand and dust and throw it in the apprentices den? Yeah that sounded fun.

He crept over to the side of the clearing, to the side of the apprentices den. He used his skinny, yet long, gray and orange mottled tail to begin pushing a pile of dust together. This would be great, and the looks on their faces when they came out all covered in dirt, it would be priceless. Smiling to himself as he used his front two paws to build his pile, he started looking around, his pale Aqua hues scanning the clearing for something to hold the dust, and to keep an eye out for some cat that might spot him. He spotted, just a few law steps away, a large leaf that had come off some plant. He padded forwards and picked it up. It's broad size was perfect for holding the dust. All he had to do was sweep it on and toss it in their den. Then of course, make a run for cover before he was discovered.

Cuckootree paused," We should name one of them Dustkit." He glanced at the large fluffy grey one
The little one snuggled closer to his mother making an almost-purr.

"Yes. And that one," She pointed to the other one, "Should be Treekit, after you." She licked their heads, warmth in her gaze.

This one was silvery gray kit with white chest and paws. snowdrop ).

Warmth. That's all the kit felt, so much warmth. The young molly was struck with a bitter wind, but it only lasted for a few seconds before she was enveloped in the warmth again, well, this felt like the warmth. This warmth felt different, it felt...nicer....safer. But of course she didn't realized that there was a difference, not yet anyways. All she wanted to do was snuggle closer to it, be buried beneath it.

"What can I say? I'm irresistible. So irresistible that not even Mr Stick could stay away," Stormstrike declared, puffing out his chest proudly as amusement rippled through his pale blue hues.

Snowsong couldnt help the giggle the escaped her lips, flicking her tail back and forth as he grinned at her mate, her best friend, the one cat she trusted more than anyone else. "Well you certainly are irresistible." She teased, shaking out her short white fur before looking at the stick.

"Wonder why 'Mr. Stick' is always out to get you. You cant catch a break!" She snickered, batting at one of the pieces of the broken stick as she continued. "And now he's dead. Oh Mr. Stick, you were evil, but you brought back so many memories." She sighed theatrically. "Rest in...Pieces." The last word sent her into a fit of giggles, her ice blue eyes wide and sparkling with pure amusement. "Get it? Pieces?" She laughed again, a huge, bright smile on her face.

Snowsong smiled over at the gray Tom when her laughter died down, and nosed his shoulder gently. "Oh yes, Stormy. No stick could ever show you up, you are after all the boss around here, and now Mr. Stick knows." She purred, allowing her tail tip to gently flick over his ears before she stepped over the remains of the stick, heading over to the squirrel that her mate had dropped. "Now, I bet murdering that stick must have worked up an appetite, huh?"

Starclaw stalked out of the warriors den as the other cat did.
"Well, good morning, I need backup to help me patrol the borders."
She immediately said, not even asking for a name or to see is wishtail was busy at the moment.

Creamfrost sighed, Starclaw could be irritating "Starclaw," she meowed sleepily, "Wishtail, could be busy."

Treekit let out a small sigh as he using his hind legs moved Dustkit aside some and snuggled closer to his mother, Crystaldrop.

[Haha yeah it is]
Ravenstorm looked up at the sound of her mate. Quietstream had made it. Unfortunately it was too late. Two of their kits were already gone, and she wasn't too hopefully that the other kits would make it. She smiled weakly up at him, her green eyes tired and weary. "As good as I can be." she mewed, her voice quiet, and hushed. "We need to name them, in case they...you know...go too." she smiled sadly down at the four furry bodies, which hlaf of lay motionless and cold. "These are all my kits, even those who never got a chance. It means I can name them whatever, unbound by the rules." she remarked determinedly. It's what she had failed to do for her previous stillborn kits. Now they roamed Starclan nameless. Hopefully some nice cat in Starclan had cared enough to name them. These two she would name herself, the dead ones. She pulled the two motionless bodies to her, the gray tom and the white and black spotted she kit. "This is Wishkit. For I wish these kits become loyal affiliates of Starclan." she mewed softly to the white and black she kit. "And this little tom be Loudkit, for hopefully he will speak louder in Starclan than he was able to do here." She touched noses with each of her lost kits and laid them down at her paws. She then turned to the two kits who seemed to be doing well. "You name these two my love." she told Quietstream.

Oh tom, what should we do first? Echospeck looks up into the trees, gleefully pondering where to start. Today has to be exciting! Which means not like... every other day on my own.

"Watch where your going." an agitated mew reaches his ears as quickly as a red tail slides off his chest. Echospeck only sees enough of the cat to recognize him before he slips into the warrior's den. Berrystripe? He catches up to Silvercloud, though his focus now is on what could've happened with Berrystripe.

~

Nettleclaw's head grows hot. His ears perked, tail lashing, claws kneading the dirt. But... She's right. One moment he's ready to bite her throat, the next, his head drops low, ears flat and tail lifeless. Feeling cold as ice, he turns away, steps out of the opening enough to see the two off into the territory. He could feel his heart fracture as he thought if there was anything he could do, with no being the most pronounced answer.

Now he just looks like a lump blocking half of the apprentice den entrance. Bearpaw hisses making his way around the two weirdos, stepping on Briarwish's ear and batting Nettleclaw's tail out of his way. "Get a den!" He squeaks with his frail voice, not knowing the situation nor caring, then picks up speed further into the clearing knowing Briarwish might come after him.

[Sorry for the bad start ;v; ]

It was a crisp morning, frost clung to the leaves scattered around camp. He really didn't want to crawl out of the warriors den, but he had to, as a newly made warrior he had duties to perform and didn't plan on slacking off anytime soon. The golden warrior yawned and giggled when he heard his stomach growl "I've got time to eat first." he hummed to himself. He made his way to the fresh kill pile and nudged away the frost covered pieces of kill and lumped them together, hoping that they'll melt away the thin layer of frost. The young warrior picked up a plump looking mouse and brought it over to a warm, sunny spot near the warriors den, his favorite spot. Although he did like his alone time he also loved meeting new cats, creating new memories. And he hoped that one new face would stumble upon his path, he just had to be patient.
