“Your what?” She asked, startled. “Where do you plan on going then?” She added, her tail tip twitching. She turned her gaze to Larkpaws, her eyes searching.
“When tentions die down a little, I will be joining ShadowClan. I’ve never really felt... I don’t know... that I’m in the right place. I feel like I’d rather hunt at night than In the daytime. Does that make any sense to you?” Larkpaw waited for her sister’s response.

Passionstar jumped onto the highrock, overlooking his warriors, queens, kits, elders; as they all united in one family. Allowing a soft smile to cross his face, the tom was itching to get the needed ceremonies done and go for a quick run to ignite his veins and feel them with adrenaline. So, he called forth, ''All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the high peak for a clan meeting!'' It almost was growing routinely for him. Getting into the process of being leader. He had his moments, however.

Ridding his mind of overthinking, he began to look around for the cats he needed to acknowledge. Nodding briefly, he continued, ''Today I gather you here because we have three new apprentices in Thunderclan!'' He purred. It was always an honor to make kits apprentices. Their wide-eyes were always excited about who their mentor will be and what they would be learning. It almost reminded him of himself when he was kit. Smiling softly, his whiskers twitched, ''Twitchkit, Maplekit, and Icekit, please step forward.'' He called to the three. Looking down at them, he eyes them each equally. ''You each have reached your sixth moon, and thus I call upon starclan to deem you apprentices. Until you have received your warrior names,'' Passionstar paused to look at Twitchkit, ''Twitchkit, you will be known as Twitchpaw, and your mentor shall be Briarleaf.'' Turning to Maplekit, ''Maplekit, you will be known as Maplepaw and your mentor shall be Dreamhaze.'' Then, setting his eyes on Icekit, ''Icekit, you will be known as Icepaw and your mentor shall be Lupinshadow.''

{ Fuzzyfeline } { Crumbleless } { OmbreFeather } { Boba Fett }

Once the kits been newly made apprentices, Passionstar knew there was one more ceremony he needed to acknowledge before he was free to roam around. Straightening out his posture, the flame colored tom called, ''Lightpaw, please step forward.'' Passionstar eyed the apprentice that done a good job in their training moons and was more than ready to serve their clan as a new warrior. ''You have reached a milestone in your life where you are able to become a warrior. I call upon the ancestors in starclan to look down on you, and in my favor, propose you as a new warrior for your clan.'' Passionstar dipped his head, smiling. ''Lightpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code even if it costs you your life?''

''I do.''

''By the power invested in me, through starclan, Lightpaw, you will be now known as Lighttail. The clan admires and praises your kindness and loyalty.'' Passionstar jumped down from his spot to touch the new warrior's shoulder in a friendly gesture. Now, that the ceremonies were over, he announced, ''Clan meeting dismissed!''

Ah, that was simple, wasn't it?

Walking out of her den Shineclaw saw Alabasterpaw playing with her mouse and she walked up to her."Are you going to eat that mouse" she asked calmly. and she looked around the camp and then looked at Alabasterpaw for an answer.

The white she cat jerked her head upwards as another cat approched. Her claws flexed and she pushed the bleeding and mutilated mouse to the side and flattened her ears. "No, are you?" she snapped back tail lashing back and fourth as she studied the warrior.

"No, I just thought if you where not going to eat it you could give it to the Elders because that would just be a waist of food if you did not eat it." She growled with a harsh voice. Realizing what she just did she calmed herself down "I'm sorry I just think because we all don't have a lot to eat...and if you can't eat because you are not hungry don't take anything from the fresh kill pile." The warrior gave her a forced smile, ears folded back "That's not true, you're in your prime. Look like you're in your early 20's." he purred, tail tip twitching as he leaned close and rubbed his cheek against hers. Yes, it was a sign of affection, but it wasn't love, not mate type of love anyways. The golden warrior loved all his clanmates, he had enough love to go around. It made him wonder if he should've focused the majority of it on Nightcry. His smile was quickly snuffed out by the negative emotions, heck he didn't even know where his brother was half the time now. As Copperpelt spoke the tabby lifted his head and gave her a strained smile "Thanks and...yeah, I know...." he huffed, gaze angled downwards, what he was looking at, even he didn't have a clue. He wished he knew what he did wrong, wished that his brother would talk to him, wish that he could fix whatever it was and make it go back to the way it used to be. They would laugh together, climb trees together, eat together, hunt together, everything was together. He missed it. Dayhum was pulled back into reality by the mollies words, his ears flicking up as he listened intently "Aren't you guys supposed to be getting moss everyday? I heard that helps with stiffness? Of course, I'm not a medicine cat....talk to Caliapaw yet?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. "Maybe a hunt would do you some good?" he smiled, lapis hues twinkled with something bright for the first time in moons.
Copperpelt looked at him her amber eyes thinking. She cuffed him lightly on the ear. Darling I may be old but I am not an elder yet she bit her tounge . She shook her head coming. She sighed it was new-leaf the leaves were coming back and prey was out coming put of hiding. Prey! she gave a small smile and said. Hunting sounds great dear. she heaved herself on to her paws. About that medicine cat thing. Does Caliapaw really need to take care of elderly warriors? she purred flicking the warrior on the head.she's busy enough without me to add to her list of healing she nudged the tom. up you go

As he saw her flatten her ears and run away, his ears perked, what had he done wrong? He gave his apprentice a weird look, he watched her, silent for a moment and headed over to her, sitting a few tail lengths away. "Amberpaw... Are you okay?" The warrior asked as he leaned closer, he was definitively worried about the young she-cat, his ears were flattened atop of his head, he was waiting for an answer.

Amberpaw took a deep breath, her chest rising and falling as she tried to regain her breath. She glanced down the tree to where Mudspeck was gazing up at her, looking honestly worried. The young she-cat shakily got to her paws, gracefully jumping down from the branches, landing on her paws, her head hung low with embarrassment, and she felt her pelt heat up. "I... I'm sorry, Mudspeck..." She mumbled, sitting and resting her tail lightly over her paws. She was ashamed she had made such a horrible first impression, especially in front of her mentor. She flicked a leaf from her ear as she shifted her paws nervously.

Mudspeck was still giving his apprentice a worried look. "Look, Amberpaw, if I've done something wrong, I'd like to know since I do not want to make the same mistake twice." He explained, he felt pretty bad about making his apprentice feel like that, he took a seat next to her and his ears remained lowered. "Amberpaw, look at me, I need to talk to you, and I want you to listen closely." He said, his voice was firm. He wanted her to feel better about all this and make sure she wasn't scared about being in contact with someone anymore.

Leopardstrike ambled out of the warriors den and stifled a yawn. It had been her first night - well, day - in the warriors den after her night vigil. It felt unfamiliar to say the least, and her sleep was restless and fitful. Even though most apprentices longed for the day they would become a warrior, she couldn't help but miss her familiar nest in the apprentices den. The sleek bengal cat shuddered imperceptibly, and thrashed her tail once in determination, knowing that if she didn't embrace the warrior lifestyle she would never be content in Thunderclan. RedHead

The golden tom had woke up soon after he heard pawsteps leaving the den. It was about sun high, and the tom figured he needed to do some warrior duties before the end of the day. He had gone on the Dawn patrol that morning, but he wanted to go hunt for the clan as well. He’d only been a warrior for a few moons now, but he was enjoying the freedom of being able to be his own cat, without a mentor trailing behind him at every pawstep. As he was walking out of the warrior’s den, his tail got snagged on something, and he looked behind him to gently pull it out, still continuing to walk forward. This caused Sunscorch to run into the cat standing just outside of the den, his chest hitting their rump. “Oh, sorry, excuse me miss.” He told the she-cat, stepping around her so he could get a better look at her. “Hey, you’re Leopardstrike, right? New warrior?” The tom remembered her ceremony the night before. He couldn’t exactly remember long-term things, but if it had happened recently, Sunscorch would remember it very well.

aldertwist's head dipped in agreement. she laughed as well, although it was softer and less enthusiastic. "i guess some cats may be a little more skilled in hunting than others. it took me almost a full day to catch the mouse, and even when i did, it was a sloppy kill. it nearly got away four times before i was able to get the final blow." shrugging, she let out a quiet sound, thinking. "if you want, we could go for a hunt and i could show you a few techniques?" her tail prodded cherrybubble's flank, eyes holding a questioning glint.

nose twitching, aldertwist began to walk a slow circle around the other molly, watching her closely. "it's only a suggestion, of course," she added after a while, tail swaying as she awaited a response.

Cherrybubble stood up, matching the other she-cat’s height. “Well i’d love to take that suggestion!” The molly exclaimed. Whenever the territory was involved, she was excited. Cherrybubble loved to be out in the territory, with the wind running through her fur, the smell of the trees in her nose, and the taste of prey on her tongue. The black and white molly was most definitely not a homebody. She loved getting out of the camp, and with how much energy she always had, she had to do it. A lot. Of course, she always tried to make sure she did something useful while she was out there, like patrol or hunt. Normally hunt, even though sometimes it didn’t go so well.

the she-cat smiled and nodded, her eyes brightening at the other's enthusiasm. she laughed quietly and began to head towards the entrance of the camp, her tail hanging low. she was excited to get out into the territory, yes, but she never liked to allowed her tail to hang up where others could gawk at her masculine body, especially whenever she walked around the camp. ears perked, aldertwist glanced back at the other and tilted her head to the side, remaining silent and peaceful as she slipped from the camp, shaking out her pelt once she re-emerged into the territory. then, aldertwist stood and waited for cherrybubble to join her, looking around the oh-so familiar forestry.

Adderpaw smiled at Creampaw's cheerfulness, it was something that he really enjoyed from the she-cat, she was always cheerful, well, whenever he saw her that is. He was happy to hear her agree with him when he said that he had hunted a lot, and he indeed had, he had been gone for most of the day and when he had made it back to camp, he had taken back 4 preys. "I'm glad to know that you agree, Creampaw." The apprentice purred. Oh! I'm doing well!" The tom added, giving the she-cat a handsome smile.[Sorry for a late response.]

Creampaw gave him a smile in return. Being around anyone in particular was grate for her but she loved to hang out with Adderpaw. "That's good to hear." She purred after he said he was going well. Her soft spoken voice was always sweet it seemed even when she didn't realize it.
Stretching a bit from were she laid, the tri colored molly let out a slight yawn. To be honest she didn't really know what to talk about. She was never one for gossip and talking about negative stop wasn't her thing. Sadly that seemed to be the thing going around Camp. "So, what have you been up to this morning?" She asked them realized she'd already asked that. "I mean what do you plan on doing this morning?" The apprentice corrected herself. As she yawned, he couldn't help but do it himself before giving a slight yawn. "Well, I'll answer both questions, so, for the first one, I haven't really been up to something this morning, it's been pretty boring before you finally showed up." *YellowFoot*
YellowFoot appears out of the Warriors den, and makes his way over to the fresh kill pile, picked up a squirrel and continued over to a nearby tree. When he sat down at the foot of the tree his yellow eyes scanned over the Thunder Clan's camp, squinting from the burning rays of the sun, wondering why the camp was not as busy today. He left his thoughts, and began to eat the squirrel. Waiting for more cats to appear.

"I wanted to play!" He laughed, excited that he might find somebody willing to pay with a six moon old kit this early in the morning,"I know is early, but i love to play. Who doesn't!? Playing is awesome!" He stopped talking before he started rambling about paying, as he knew he usually did and that annoyed cats a lot of the time.

Minkkit burster out in a purr as Twitchkit rambled on about wanting to play. Her eyes gleaned with amusement for the older kit. "Well if you feel that strongly about playing why not play with me?" She asked him standing back up. Her voice and words sounded quite mature for a two moon old kit but that was just her. Mother's not up and I can't go learn from the warriors, so I might as well try his game. The kitten mused. Flicking her tail a few times she glanced at the tom. " What do you want to play? " Minkkit asked with another tilt of her head.

Crescentmoon let out a purr. “It’s like you summoned me then or something.” She joked, sweeping her tail over the ground. “And that’s good that you’re doing great!” She exclaimed, truthfully. Crescentmoon always wanted to make sure all of her friends and family were feeling okay, and if they needed some comfort, she was always there for them. As he asked how she had been doing, Crescentmoon tried to stop her ears from flicking back, what they always did when something bad was on her mind. “I’ve been fine.” She meowed, her voice giving away the fact that she was lying. Crescentmoon could not lie. It just wasn’t in her nature to do it, and she physically couldn’t really hide any of her emotions. Letting out a sigh, the silver tabby dropped her eyes to the ground, studying her paws. “I actually haven’t been doing so great, to be honest with you. It’s just.....” Crescentmoon let her eyes wander around the camp, around the place she had learned to call home so many years ago. And the place she was now calling home once again. “So many things have changed. And this place brings back memories of my family. Of my friends.” of Northpath. Crescentmoon didn’t want to cry, but she could feel the tears pooling at the edges of her eyes. She’d never thought coming back to Thunderclan would’ve been this hard. She did it for her kits, never really for herself. But now that she was here, Crescentmoon felt her already weakened heart cracking again. She didn’t know how she could handle the memories, the visions of the past she saw so often walking through the camp, and even the territory. The molly curled her tail tight around her paws, her eyes focused on the ground, trying not to cry. “And sometimes, memories, even the good ones, bring back sadness of the past, and sadness of where I am right now.” Lost, without them.

As Ottertail asked about her kits, Crescentmoon felt a bittersweet smile cross her face. She lifted her head, looking at the tom, trying to compose herself somewhat. “Oh yeah, they’re settling in great. I’m pretty sure they were made to be clan cats from the start. And I think they’ve made a few friends, though they haven’t told me much about them.” The she-cat let out a small laugh, thinking of the two, who were old enough to become apprentices in a moon or two. “They’re growing so quickly. And Starrykit reminds me of my mother every day. She’s sweet and caring to the other kits, but she knows when to hold her ground.” The silver furred molly smiled, remembering how fierce her mother was, but also how gentle. Then the molly’s mind turned to Southkit. “And oh boy, Southkit, he reminds me so much of my sister, Butterflywing. He’s got a temper to compete with hers, and he’s brave to the point that he’s stupid sometimes.” Crescentmoon felt tears starting to fall down her cheeks as she thought back on her family. “But like her, he knows who he is and what he wants to do.” Creacentmoon’s voice cracked, and she lowered her head, flicking her tail a bit. The tears were coming now, and she wasn’t sure if they were sad or happy tears. “I’m sorry...” She meowed to Ottertail, knowing he might feel uncomfortable. She brought a paw up to her face to wipe her tears soaking in her fur. “It’s just, I haven’t thought about them in a while, my family. I knew if I did, well, it would break me. And... and I was right.” She could feel more tears pouring down, and she turned her face away, trying her hardest to compose herself. She thought she might be making Ottertail feel uncomfortable. And she was worried that one of her kits would come over here, and she didn’t want them to see her cry. She didn’t want anyone to see her cry.

[awwwww my poor baby’s breaking ;-; </3]

Cherrybubble listened to Aldertwist, impressed with her story. As she asked about Cherrybubble’s own, the feline smiled sheepishly. “Heh heh.... Mine was definitely not as amazing as that.” Cherrybubble thought back to that day she had finally caught her first piece of prey. “Back when I was as an apprentice, I was absolutely horrible at hunting. I’m mediocre now, but anyways...” The feline flicked her ears with embarrassment as she continued.

“My first catch was a good moon after I became an apprebtice, and it wasn’t pretty. Literally. I finally managed to catch a small bird, a sparrow, and I mangled it so much in the process that it wasn’t exactly eatable anymore.” Cherrybubble let out a small laugh. “I remember my mentor trying to give me some encouragement, but she finally was like ‘yeah I have absolutely no hope for you right now...’ But of course we both laughed it off. She was a great mentor.” The feline actually let out a longer, real laugh this time. “I love reminiscing in good memories.”

”Summoned, ha!” The tom chuckled at his friend’s words, seeming to settle in a little at a familiar kind of joking. He loved games. But, all playfulness faded away at the tone in her “I’m fine…” he wasn’t good at telling when someone was lying, not really, but he could tell she was. Why was she lying to him? He didn’t have to wonder for long, before she continued - he should’ve known he wouldn’t be able to get away with a playful atmosphere for long. He could handle it, but… these kinds of emotions had always made Ottertail uncomfortable. Other cats didn’t really… cry around him, after all, he’d always been able to keep them happy.

He was pretty good at it. And as much as he would’ve liked to be a listener, he was as much of a speaker as many of his friends were. Sometimes even more of one. Maybe now it would come in handy, maybe he’d be able to say something that would make her feel a little better. He certainly hoped so, anyways. ”It’s going to be okay, Cres. I promise you that. I know you miss your family, but… you’ve got your kits and your friends here, now.” Hesitantly, the tom raised a paw and awkwardly brushed away some of her tears. It wasn’t easy for him, and he felt like he was doing the wrong thing, violating her space or something… but at the same time, it felt a little right. Wasn’t he supposed to do that? Make her feel better, like he had before? ”Your kits are beautiful. They sound awesome, very sweet… from what you told me, they aren’t going to have any problems here. And, as far as you go - as far as whatever problems you have go - I’m here for you if and when you need me.” Ottertail wondered how he was supposed to make this sound natural. It was one of the weirdest things he’d said in a long time. The problem was, Ottertail was used to being around cats who were just as fun as he was - Crescentmoon was a little more delicate these days, so he felt like he should be careful around her.

He wouldn’t want to do anything to hurt her, not ever… after all, she’d been a good friend for a long time. It was his turn to return the favor. Moments passed before he was able to say anything again. ”Are you going to be okay?” The tom glanced around the clearing, taking a look at the other cats who were involved in their own conversations. Thank goodness no one was watching - some nosy cat might decide to poke their nose into a private conversation. Then again, the middle of the clearing wasn’t the greatest spot for a private conversation in the first place. Not unless they were really whispering. ”Do you want to get out of here? Like, in the territory or something?” Ottertail shifted his weight from paw to paw.

He wasn’t sure how she’d feel about leaving her kits behind for the moment, but it could be good for her to get out for a little while. Maybe she should leave them for a little bit. They seemed like they’d be okay, with friends and everything… and surely one of the other queens could look after them for a few hours while Crescentmoon took some time for herself… maybe Ottertail could watch them, if he needed to. He hadn’t ever been great with kits, but wanting a family of his own someday, he was going to have to learn how to be good with them. After all, what would be the use otherwise?

Realizing what she just did she calmed herself down "I'm sorry I just think because we all don't have a lot to eat...and if you can't eat because you are not hungry don't take anything from the fresh kill pile." Shineclaw felt bad but he took the mouse and went to the elders den and gave it to them. Then she sat in the clearing alone and looked at the apprentice with a sorry glaze. She looked away when she looked at her she felt her eyes stare at her. She didn't like what she said she wish she had never snapped at the apprentice.

Leopardstrike gave a small jump in shock when Sunscorch bumped into her, her reflexes still dulled by sleep. She turned to look at the familiar tom and thought back to her moons as a young apprentice when who she knew as Sunpaw, became Sunscorch. Though she hadn't spoken to him in moons, Leopardstrike was in awe by how much he had changed since he was an apprentice. He'd grown more muscular, but she supposed that happened to most cats as they took up the more gruelling role of being a warrior. Realizing she was gawking, she snapped herself out of it at his words, and turned fully to respond a little bit awkwardly, "Yes, very new warrior here. You were, um, Featherspeckle's apprentice, right?"

Ah, New Leaf. A wonderful season. Prey replenished, warm, cozy temperatures, many beautiful plants to look at. A pretty, young she-cat appeared from the warrior's den, and she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath of contentment. This was Doveheart's favourite season of all. She was always sad to see it leave. Smiling to herself, the white Turkish Angora trotted towards the Fresh Kill pile, nosing through it and taking a large squirrel into her jaws. She then gazed around, hoping tofind some cat to maybe speak to, or even share her meal with. She hated being alone, cause she is quite the social butterfly, always talking and making friends, gossiping, catching up on the latest news, and whatnot. She frowned slightly as she had not found any cat whom held her interest. She really did not want to eat alone. Suddenly her gaze landed on Yellowfoot. Doveheart sat down, resting her tail over her paws, tilting her head softly to one side as she studied the tom. Would he be willing to endure her constant chatter and her gossip? She didn't want to annoy him in any way. She let out a gentle sigh, picked up her meal, and padded over to the tom. She dropped the squirrel beside him before she faced him, a smile on her maw.

"Hello, Yellowfoot" she meowed brightly. She settled down beside him, watching him eat a moment before she took her own meal into her paws, and she tore into the squirrel, pausing after a couple of mouthfuls to speak. "So, how are you doing today? " she asked him, her plumed tail gently sweeping from side to side. She perked her large ears as a warm breeze blew by, sweeping throughout the camp, rustling her silky white fur. She smiled. It was a truly wonderful day, warm and beautiful and sunny. She wished every day could be like this one. But, those were wishes that wouldn't come true. Letting out another light, gentle sigh, she gazed around, watching and listening to the going ons of the camp. She smiled to herself and took another mouthful of her squirrel, savoring the soft meat, before swallowing and turning her attention back to Yellowfoot, awaiting an answer from him.

At least I haven't had to do any hunting today. Last time I went hunting, I was going after this large bird, and I slipped and cut myself pretty badly on some rocks!" she winced at the memory, then raised her head, where a red, scabbed over cut matted her fur underneath her jaw. She then lowered her chin so the cut was hidden once more. She gazed at Yellowfoot, her eyes wide as she told the tale. "I was running after it, and attempted to leap up, but clumsy ol' oaf me had to slip on wet leaves and fall on a sharp rock, the edge scraping my neck! You're should have seen the blood! It was, like, sploosh! Everywhere!" she let out a mrrow of laughter. "My friends would probably never let me live it down!" she twitched with laughter before taking a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "I'm pretty sure the darn pidgeon was laughing at me." the white Turkish Angora purred with amusement. "I have plenty of other embarrassing stories, too, though there are too many to tell them all." she thought a moment. "Have you ever went star gazing? I just enjoy going out at midnight to watch the stars. It is marvelous! Absolutely breathtaking! Maybe we can go out stargazing sometime!" Doveheart smiled at Yellowfoot. "I also like to collect pretty flowers and put them behind my ear. They look really pretty that way. Though they always die too quickly. But, that means I can go out again to find even prettier ones!" she groomed a dainty paw and drew it over her ears, then set it down, lightly resting her tail over them again. "Oh, I love watching sunsets! All those gorgeous colours, and watching them fade into twinkling stars with the night around them... that is quite a sight! I haven't been able to see, truly see, a beautiful sunset in a long time." Doveheart glanced down at her paws, suddenly embarrassed. "I'm talking too much, aren't I? I'm known to do that. I just... love to talk, you know? It opens up so many conversations! And... and... Doveheart smiled and perked up, pushing her finished meal away before resting her plumed tail over her small, dainty paws. She nodded as he spoke. "Oh, I am enjoying the relaxation, too. And... and... I'm doing it again..." she laughed at herself, then quickly groomed her already perfectly groomed tail, trying to hide her embarrassment.

YellowFoot laughed at how much the she-cat loved to talk, she seemed to go on and on without noticing it herself. But her attitude towards her experiences made you feel happy and like you were with her, side by side, with her journeys. When she she-cat appeared to be embarrassed, he felt it was his turn to talk, "Well my life is certainly not as exciting and action packed as yours." He reassured her, "And hey, sometimes talking has his benefits" He smiled. And wanted to answer some of the many questions asked, but couldn't seem to wrap his head over all of them.

Like, hiya!" she raised a paw and brought it down to the ground in a chopping motion. "My father would tell me a many stories of his battles in the past. Unfortunately, the battle that drove out the Dusk Syndicate was my father's last... He died at the claws of a Dusk Syndicate tom... I was just an apprentice when I heard the news..." she gazed down at her paws, dipping her head meekly, a wave of sadness crashing over her. She was silent for a few moments, her mind lost in memories. When she spoke again, her voice was distant, her eyes unfocused. "Before... before he left for the battle, he... said... to me, 'I will be back.' But, he didn't come back. He died before he could fulfill that promise." she blinked back tears, then shook her head. "He used to sing me a beautiful lullaby when I was a kit. It went like... 'Flowers and gold, will make you beautiful. But they cannot stop, you from growing old. When we die, we go up into the sky, watching from the stars, we are never far. To remember those lost, look at the stars, and you will smile, even if it's for a little while.'" the she-cat sang the song in a lovely voice, clear, strong, and pure. She trailed off, then let out a gentle sigh, looking up at Thornfur. "So, whenever I get sad over my father's death, I sing that song. It reminds me I'll see him in StarClan one day. But... I still cry... she lifts her gaze to the canopy of trees above them, growing darker as the sun set. The white Turkish Angora then shook her head, smiling apologetically at the golden tom cat beside her. "I probably shouldn't be boring you with stories like that... I'm sorry..." she dipped her head in apology before perking up slightly. "Oh, you haven't heard of the battle between the Clans and the Dusk Syndicate, have you? If not, I would like to tell you it. I already told you my father died during that battle, so I can leave that out, but I like to retell the story to those who haven't heard about it." Doveheart perked her large, wide ears, awaiting an answer from Yellowfoot.

Well, I have been in one battle, I was a few moons into being a Warrior, I never really speak of the day because I lost someone I cared for as well, my mother. *He said, looking down at his big paws* And I have heard some of what happens between the Clans and the Dusk Syndicate, but I really am hesitant about hearing about wars. Honeyflower mad her way to the Medicine Cat's den dryed blood matting her cheek. She'd been injured in the battle by an annoying young warrior. The thought of him had her claws iach. Ashnose was The name his Clanmates had called him. Honeyflower would remember that name. As a breeze caught her scratch she flattened her ears. Other Clans are annoying. Mused the molly.

The ginger and white warrior was a bit hesitant to go in the den. Honestly she'd never been, being a past loner she wasn't sure about having another cat treat your wounds. It was odd. When you were a loner you took care of yourself and the kin you stuck with. Back then Honetflower watched over her siblings, Mapledawn and Butch, especially Mapledawn she needed someone to protect her. It was harder in a Clan though. There was so many cats she couldn't even remember half of them. She could remember her apprentice's, well formal apprentice's, Leopardstrike. Along with a few other's like, Coldheart, Sheepcloud, Briarleaf, Leaftail. Well there was more but she wasn't going to stand here all sunrise listing cats.

Honeyflower took a breath. Honestly Honey, your just going to see Caliapaw. She's just a Clanmate. The wounded warrior told herself before getting up the nerve and pushing though the den. Sweetfawn padded into the medicine cat's den, her eyes glazed over slightly in pain. Her gait was uneven upon the soft ground and, as she limped in, her breathing was rather ragged. She had just returned form the unexpected battle on the border that ThunderClna shared ShadowClan on the banks of the swollen river. Her fur was plastered to her frame, making her seem even smaller and skinnier than usual. She stopped juts inside the den out of the rain hammering down outside and leaned back on her haunches. Her stomach stung like fury and the claw marks lay in scores down her spine. The calico she-cat swallowed hard. "Calliapaw?" She called into the darker area of the den farther back. She hoped the young medicine cat would be able to help her get back on the way to healing soon so she'd be able to hunt again.

This time, Caliapaw had had time to take a breath before another patient arrived. She’d expected this after the battle… but it was still surprising that she was getting quite so many at a time. The small den was almost too crowded for all of the patients she’d had, and now there were some bloodstains on the ground - it didn’t look very inviting. ”Come on over, let me take a look at you.” The feline mewed in a tired tone of voice, glancing briefly at Honeyflower. She hadn’t even come close to remembering all of her clanmates’ names, but Wheatfur had told her about a few - this cat didn’t look familiar, so she supposed they hadn’t met before.

Glancing over the feline, Caliapaw gave a quick nod and went to grab some marigold. They were running a little low, but it was nothing she couldn’t handle… since the injuries weren’t too bad, she would only need to put a tiny bit. ”This is going to sting a bit, but you’re going to need to stand as still as possible.” She asked, waiting just a second before she continued on with her work. Carefully chewing just enough to make only a few of the juices drip out into the cuts, enough so that it would prevent infection, but considerably less than she might have used for more serious wounds.

She could detect a scent of fear, and had seen the nervous air hanging around the young warrior, so she was trying to do her best to be friendly. Friendlier than usual, at least. ”I don’t think we’ve met before. What’s your name?” Caliapaw asked, doing her best to flash the she cat a friendly smile as she went to grab some cobwebs. Her smile looked less than comforting, but at least she was trying - it had been a while, for sure.
( Lonestar23 )

The smile on Caliapaw’s face didn’t last long as another patient entered the den, this one in considerably worse shape. Her eyes darkened and she grabbed the cobwebs, rushing over to Sweetfawn with a worried expression on her face. ”Stay still.” She ordered, pressing some of the cobwebs onto it. Right now, it was important to stop the bleeding… she’d have to do a follow-up to treat Sweetfawn for infection. Since it would be covered for now, Caliapaw was fairly sure that the feline would be alright. Placing cobwebs on the nasty gash, she stopped only momentarily to glance up at Sweetfawn. ”Are you tired?” She can’t go to sleep. Not until I make sure that she’s okay. Normally, she would have given poppyseeds to help with the pain… but she couldn’t do that right now. They would make Sweetfawn too tired, and that wouldn’t be good. Caliapaw thought she was settling in a little better now, to the everyday routine… soon it wouldn’t be as hard to get up in the morning and work. Maybe, just maybe, things would be okay.

Passionstar wished he could tell Magnoliaspark his experience in Starclan...but he couldn’t explain it with words. He was positive that Magnoliaspark could see it within his beaming expression. “Being in Starclan, you’ll almost feel like a star yourself. It’s like your entire heart build with this momentum until it’s ready to burst into little pieces. Each piece turn into stardust and you’re able to hop from one to the other without the fear of falling off...” he replied, dreamily. He exhaled a breath of bliss. Passionstar flicked his ears at his friend’s comment. He knew that she just didn’t understand the euphoria blast of emotion that entangled his heart and felt like the vines were twisting into every being in his body. Magnoliaspark’s reply caused Passionstar to hum in response. Currently, in his mind he wasn’t planning on joining the ranks of Starclan any time soon. “I don’t know if I could keep that promise. Starclan is pretty inviting,” the only thing he wished he had done in Starclan was see his father. After receiving his lives, bringing far too much pain than he could bear, he was too exhausted, and quickly sent back awoken in a state of reality. “I’ll get some sleep later.” He answers. “Still got things to do. Don’t think it would be very polite to sleep when I have company.” Passionstar almost let out a yawn but quickly feigned into a cough. Now, at his nest, and admiring the touch-ups that Magnoliaspark added, Passionstar always knew he was somewhat awkward. He didn’t like embarrassing himself. He wished he had shut his muzzle before digging himself deeper. Magnoliaspark seemed to be having a good laugh out of it. Passionstar had immediately shut his maw after feeling the soft delicate texture of her tail tip, that prevented him from opening it. “I’m glad you find my humiliation a humorous time.” He gave her a half smile, then started testing out his new nest to see if it fit his comfort level. After rolling around in it a bit, he finally hopped up, praising Magnoliaspark for a sweet job. “Hm,” he thought about her offer. “How about two sunrises off of dawn patrol and we’ll call it even?” He suggested, countering her effort to try and get off of one specific responsibility through out the rest of her living moons. Listening to the reason as to why she done it. “Well, still. I appreciate it. You didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t your responsibility but the fact you done this out the kindness of your heart.” He dipped his head towards the she cat. Noting the second part of her sentence, Passionstar had nodded softly. They recently had become friends, and he didn’t know very much about her. Passionstar had sat down, allowing a paw to graze the decorated flowers on his nest. Getting to know him was not a simple task. Pretty much displaying a kind, joking attitude showed from afar that he was easy to approach. Flicking his green-amber hues to stare at the tawny she cat, he shrugged lightly. “Wouldn’t you love to get to know me?” He tsked, rolling his eyes to the ceiling of the den. Then staring kindly at her with a softened expression, he added, “Stick around and we'll see.” That was the simple task to do. In order to get to know each other, it meant spending time. Passionstar knew he would had loved to get to know Magnoliaspark. The only thing he would perhaps get in his way - duties. Within time, Passionstar figured he would get into the hang of things. Once that was established, he’d be able to make time for his friends. Passionstar had stepped up to nuzzle his friend, to show his gratitude and appreciation for what she had done for him. Pulling away, he smiled. For a moment, he sat lost in his thoughts trying to collect them together. What a day! I’m drained out - I’m never drained out! Yet, Passionstar refused to lay down. He refused to sleep. At least not in this moment. Reflecting on their earlier topic of conversation, Passionstar randomly blurted out, “I like brutal weather!” His voice a little too loud than he intended. “I mean, I really like powerful thunderstorms or flooding and stuff like that.” Slightly the nape of his neck bristled, a bit self-conscious as he shared this information. “It probably makes me sound...malicious in a sense, but there’s just something soothing about it that makes me...calm.” His voice lowered into a deepend whisper. Almost as if it was a secret that only the two of them needed to keep between. Winking, he later added, “Just thought you might want to know something interesting about me. I won’t share too much though,” He paused to laugh. That’s your job to figure me out. Truth be told, Passionstar didn’t think he knew himself too much. His unpredictable nature allowed him to believe that he was quite the spontaneous fellow that never planned out any specific motive. “But, it’s a start, don’t you agree?” He jabbed her playfully with one of his paws. The start to a deepened, glorious friendship.

Magnoliaspark blinked as Passionstar described his experience in Starclan. She wasn’t sure she understood and the thought that she’d never experience it made her heart cringe. The molly shook it off, though, and decided to just feel his words. It felt like every nerve in her body was electrified and the previously drowsy feline was re-energized. If that was what it felt like to truly imagine Starclan, she wondered how much intense it would be like to be there. Magnoliaspark couldn’t tell if Passionstar was joking when he mentioned returning to Starclan’s ranks seemed enticing. She knew he struggled with some depression, as did she, but she realized that her hope for his continued living went beyond the basic hope any cat has for another. It would actually tear her apart if he died. She’d never had as close a friend as that before, discounting her sisters when she was young and...No, best not to think about that. “Don’t make me feel guilty!” She teases somewhat distractedly. “I wouldn’t mind if you fell asleep, I know you must be tired. But, if it will make you feel better, I could go...” Magnoliaspark nudged her head in the direction of the den entrance. She totally noticed his poorly concealed yawn and gave him a look that said I told you so. His stuttering and embarrassment was, in fact, extremely humorous to Magnoliaspark and she merely continued to laugh as he acknowledged that. In response to Passionstar’s counter offer, Magnoliaspark pretended to think and feigned disappointment as she moaned, “I guess that will do.” An amused sparkle shined from her eyes, showing that she wasn’t actually upset. In fact, she didn’t actually expect him to follow through, since she had been kidding. Magnoliaspark looked at her paws with a bit of embarrassment as he thanked her and nodded in response with a soft smile. She wasn’t an overly shy cat, so her gaze met his evenly again within a moment. Magnoliaspark licked a paw and teased, “I guess I have nothing better to do. Besides, it would be cruel to deprive you of my company.” Magnoliaspark scooted closer and wrapped her tail around her paws, getting comfortable so that they could get to know each other. She was using the silence to think of interesting facts about herself when Passionstar suddenly blurred out that he liked thunderstorms. Magnolia’s gaze watched him interestedly, displaying the attention she was giving his words. The Somali nodded, “It’s definitely a start.” Thinking along the lines of his fact, Magnoliaspark offered, “I like the sound of rain and thunder, and looking at the grey sky when it’s overcast, and I even love the feeling of rain on my fur for a bit, until I catch a chill. But, I can’t stand getting my paws wet! The day after a storm is the worst! Puddles everywhere, trying to drench my paws. Ugh!” Magnoliaspark shivered to get her point across. After thinking for another moment, she offered a second piece of information, “I love sunny days. The sight of light streaming through leaves and leaving patterns on the forest floor makes me so happy. It’s different from storms. As much as I like rain, sometimes looking at the stormy sky makes me sad. It gives me this odd hollow feelings inside like...like a cave or something...Sorry, I didn’t mean to go that deep.” Magnoliaspark laughed off her revelation and turned her eyes back to Passionstar.

[ That’s okay! ]

Passionstar was a listener, so when someone talked deeply about what they liked, he was all ears. A small plastered on his face, and his eyes blinking periodically. It was just something about hearing another talk about their ambitions, their dreams...themselves. The tom always believed himself to be boring, leaving most of his credit untouched, and preferred getting to know the interesting facts that his company enjoyed giving. Unfortauntely, Passionstar couldn’t do the same. He was quite the reserved tom, and in order to get to know him, they would have to accompany him. He was more of a tom filled with action than verbals. His eyes had broadened - only for a second - something they had in common. The joy of gloomy weather. Not most cats enjoyed a storm, in fear of getting their fur drenched, but Passionstar was the tom to run through the rain for as long as it was flowing down. He was the one in hopes of drowning in the tears that fell from the clouds. He had chuckled softly when Magnoliaspark mentioned she didn’t like getting her paws wet. At all. On the contrary, he liked his paw pads wet. He liked jumping; chasing through the puddles and spraying water in different directions. He liked making muddy paw prints and dancing around the area to confuse the wandering cat of which way the trail led to. “Getting your paws wet isn’t that bad,” his whiskers twitched, sounding casual to hide a smirk coming onto his maw. It was actually quite comforting to him. He listened to her next words, nodding along. Despite displaying a kindred nature, Passionstar carried somewhat of a sadistic, morbid nature. He preferred the imperfections of life, the horror of it. Sunny days did nothing for him, except the fact that he could get work done. Although, hearing Magnoliaspark speak of sunny days, caused him to see it in a different light. “It does look quite nice. Seeing light filter through the dark parts of the forest,” he commented, thinking for a moment. “Gloomy weather never does that to me,” His face scrunched up for a moment as he reflected if he ever was sad about a thunderstorm of a small flood through the forest. Even as a kit, he used to like laying st the entrance of the nursery and watch little droplets patter down. If was almost like artwork to him, the paint was the rain, dripping on the forest, it’s canvas. There would always be a smile when he watched the rain. Then comes the thunder - he’s jumping up from excitement, followed by the lightning, inspiring him. “Call me a lunatic, but sunny weather is so...cliche to me. If that makes sense.” It didn’t mean that he didn’t like sunny weather, he just found something dark to be at its most beautiful. “No, no, don’t apologize. I’m intrigued, you sound so poetic about sunny weather. For some odd reason, I found dark weather to be enticing.” He couldn’t exactly explain what he felt for such, but it was there. Whenever the storm was around, he’d sit and watch, his concentration focused.

Zerosight's grey ears twitched at the sound of another denmate stirring from sleep, surprised to know another elder was sleeping into the noon hours of the day. "You going to get something to eat?" The elder was hungry, but not enough to the point where he wanted to eat an entire piece of prey by himself.

As soon as her eyes landed on Stonewater, hollywhisper padded across the clearing towards him. “Hey Stonewater!” She purred and sat down next to her, curling her tail over her paws.

Zerosight's grey ears twitched at the sound of another denmate stirring from sleep, surprised to know another elder was sleeping into the noon hours of the day. "You going to get something to eat?" He asked, actually prefering some company today. He was having one of his days where he craved companionship; he usually kept to himself most of the time. "Do you want to share something?" The elder was hungry, but not enough to the point where he wanted to eat an entire piece of prey by himself.

(( woulda been awkward if it wasn’t !! Haha ))

Slugbones ears perked up at the sound of a gentle voice just behind him, turning his frail body he focused his gentle eyes on the blind tom. He had known the old medicine cat but never actually visited him in his lifetime, odd how that worked sometimes. ’ ‘ I was, what where you looking to get? ‘ ‘ he asked gently his tail lashing back and fourth. For a moment he heard the gentlest of murmurs deep in the back of his head causing his claws to flex when the retired medicine cats words took over. ‘ ‘ oh, of course would you like me to grab anything specific?’ ‘ he asked gingerly

He felt a sense of relief in the calmness of the other Tom which allowed his shoulders to settle and his old eyes to blink shut a few times calmly. Nice. the frail tom made his way towards the stocked pile thankful for the company of somebody else. He bent and nabbed out a reasonably sized magpie by the tail and somehow managed to haul it over to the other the tom, zeroeyes? Zero.. Zerogaze? It was something about eyes. ' ' how's your appetite? You HAVE trained me more that Leafblade ever has.” He added his eyes filling with water as he knew realistically that Boulderdust was dying yet he still couldn’t hope Boulderdust would tell him it was a prank and that he’d love to mentor Redpaw.

Boulderdust felt his heart clenching inside his chest. He didn't like seeing Redpaw. It made him feel bad and sad. "I've had many apprentices in my life and the one cat I wish could be my apprentice was you." meowed Boulderdust almost in a whisper. He let out a few coughs, feeling his lungs began to collapse. “Hm.” Watertail replied. That was one of her favorite words. It could be an agreement, or disagreement, compliment or insult. It depended on how the cat took it. “I guess you don’t like cats then.” She meowed, trying to elaborate upon her ‘Hm’ and showing how she could be just as cold, if needed. She swept her tail back and forth, a sign of anger or unrest, but her face was still and betrayed no hint of hostility.

Sunscorch noticed her staring at him, her eyes seemingly glued on his golden pelt. The tomcat couldn’t help but let out a small smile. He knew how much he’d grown since apprentice hood, both in personality and physical appearance. Even though he’d always been more of a muscular cat, even in his young apprentice moons, he had truly grown over the past two moons. Completely rid of his kit fluff, his pelt shone with the glossiness of a healthy young warrior, and his muscles rippled underneath his golden fur, his short pelt truly defining his strong frame. And his intense blue eyes had only gotten more electric blue, an amazing color that could stun a cat if they looked in too far.
His personality had greatly improved as well. He’d been mentored by a very angelic, loving she-cat, and her nature had rubbed off on him. Instead of the flirty, bad boy he had been as an apprentice, the tomcat was now a lot more of a gentleman, holding his anger around other tomcats and treating all she-cats like they were queens. But he knew that when the time came, he would treat his one-and-only like a goddess.

He nodded at her question, stepping back a little so she could turn around more comfortably. “Yes, and she was an amazing mentor. You’d never know how much she changed me for the better.” He meowed, flashing one of his heart winning smiles. Of course Sunscorch still liked to flirt. That would never change. It was just part of who he was, and who he would always be. But now, it was a very gentle, sweet flirting he did. Something that made any cat feel good. “How are you enjoying being a warrior so far?” He teased, knowing that she’s had just gotten off of vigil. Then realization hit him. She had just gotten off of vigil. “Oh, sorry, excuse me, I should let you get some sleep, you must be exhausted!”

Magnoliaspark wrinkles her nose. Nothing about the feeling of wet paws appealed to her. She rolled her eyes at his smirk and continued talking about her favorite types of weather as if it was an interesting topic. Magnoliaspark didn’t have a very long attention span, but she could enjoy almost any conversation. The molly could see by his facial expression that he disagreed and grinned as he acquiesced that the patterns could be pretty. She hadn’t meant to get deep about something so silly as the weather, but it had just come out. Passionstar mentioned that he didn’t get the same feeling and Magnoliaspark wasn’t surprised. It seemed rather contradictory to be sad about something that one also likes. Magnoliaspark nodded along to Passionstar’s explanation, understanding what he meant. She didn’t feel the same but she could see where he was coming from. The Somali merely smiled as Passionstar talked about how he felt the same about dark weather as she did about sunny weather.

It’d been a little while since Caliapaw had had any sort of interaction with other apprentices. She’d spoken with Everpaw some… and of course there were her patients… but other than that, she’d been pretty much alone. The only medicine cat Caliapaw had met had been Shinefang, and as nice as he’d been, she was hoping to meet some of the others at some point. Caliapaw hadn’t been able to catch up with any of her other friends lately… it was actually weird, not speaking to them. Her eyes scanned the clearing as she curled her tail around her paws, gaze flickering over each of the others there. Some of them she had treated before… others, she didn’t recognize. It was hard keeping up with the cats she knew in ThunderClan, and the weird thing was, the less she spoke to them, the more comfortable she was.

Caliapaw was comfortable being on her own. It was a good thing for her, healthy, even… as strange as it might have seemed. The biggest problem right now was finding a good balance between being alone and being with other cats. Thankfully, her job kept her pretty occupied with a mixture of both, and it was now - in her free time - that she chose to stay mainly alone. Sometimes she would speak to a family member, but that was about the extent of her social life these days. Kind of sad. It’s just too bad I can’t figure out more. She thought with a flick of her tail. She’d grown in the past few moons… she was 13 moons old now, and would be 14 fairly soon. It was exciting, thinking all of this through. Soon she would have her full name, as well… and perhaps start looking for an apprentice.

Caliapaw didn’t like kits very much, they made her a little uncomfortable, but maybe this would be a good way to… get to know a few of the younger cats around ThunderClan. Perhaps she would train an apprentice, or even a warrior - to be honest, Caliapaw wasn’t planning on being picky. It was exciting, thinking about the future of all this… and a little scary, too. But she wanted to have the future planned out before it was too late.

Crescentmoon looked up at Ottertail as she felt his paw on her face, wiping away her tears. She simply stared at him for a moment, her round blue eyes still glistening with tears at the edges. She took a few breaths while staring at him, and his words broke the silence that had been there for a moment.
She nodded, knowing what he said was true. Her kits would be fine here, she knew that for sure.

But she wasn’t sure about herself. As Ottertail’s last statement sunk into her, she dropped her gaze to the ground for a moment. She didn’t like relying on others for support, she’d learned how much it hurt when they left. That had been learned the hard way. She trusted Ottertail, yes, but she was still very fragile. And tender wounds were being reopened, something that the silver-furred molly did not deal with well.
She knew that Ottertail was a fun-loving tom. That was her favorite part about him. And she didn’t want to bring him down. But she knew she needed support. Inside, she was stubborn and wanted to try and hold her own head up. But the she-cat knew her stubbornness was something that she’d have to push away. She needed to accept the help of others. Especially if they were outrightly offering it to her.

Taking a deep breath, Crescentmoon opened her mouth to say something to the tom when he suddenly asked her if she wanted to leave the clearing. The thought came as soothing to her. She loved being out in the territory, taking walks through it had always been her favorite thing to do. The more she thought about it, the more crowded and stuffy the clearing seemed to become.
What about Starrykit and Southkit? The thought hit her heart with a pang. She wanted to go out and enjoy the rest of the daylight in the territory, but she didn’t want to leave her kits. She sat there for a moment, contemplating. A little walk couldn’t hurt, right?

“Yeah, a walk sounds nice.” She meowed, giving Ottertail a reassuring smile. “I think Starrykit and Southkit will be fine for now, there’s plenty of other queens and other kits that will help watch them.” She had faith in the members of her clan. That was something she’d never lost, even when she was living as a loner.
The silver she-cat stood up, brushing last Ottertail towards the exit. Her mood had become a more positive be one, and a bright smile was now on her face. “Come on furball.” She purred, a playful note in her voice.

RedHead

Ever since becoming an apprentice, the silver tomcat had been nothing but trouble. Trouble for other cats, trouble for his mother, and most specifically, trouble for his mentor. Jaggedpaw had already tried multiple times to assert his dominance over his mentor, which was a very big risk, considering he was the clan leader. The silver tomcat of course didn’t take Passionstar’s rank into consideration. To him, the ginger tomcat was just like any other cat. Inferior to his undeniable awesomeness.

Stepping into the clearing, Jaggedpaw’s sharp lime-colored eyes raked the area, taking in all the small details of the cats and things in the clearing. After he had assured himself that nothing out of order was happening without him, he sat down and began to groom his silver and black pelt. The tomcat had always been an early riser, and it had become kind of a routine for him to go on the dawn patrols every morning. He seemed to have an endless supply of energy, always waking up early and usually going to bed late. He seldom took daytime naps as well.
Once he was done grooming his pelt go considerable perfection, he glanced around again. His eyes lit up as he spotted Caliapaw step from her den and into the clearing. The younger cat hadn’t seen his friend in a while, ever since she had become a medicine cat, he had felt like he was now out of the picture.

Jaggedpaw would make sure that he didn’t leave her life unless he wanted to though. And he definitely didn’t want to. Caliapaw was his kithood best friend, she had been the first cat to talk to him when he was brought by his mother to Thunderclan at a young age. Jaggedpaw wasn’t going to let her go so easily. He knew that he annoyed her. In fact, he enjoyed annoying her. But he would never go to far to the point where he might possibly hurt her. Jaggedpaw hates hurting other’s feelings, especially those of his close friends and family.

Getting up, Jaggedpaw sauntered towards the age-cat, his prominent smirk overtaking his face as he came within earshot of her. “Hey Cals, how is my beautiful flower-princess doing?” He purred, walking close to her and smirking downward at her. He may be younger than the she-cat, at only about eight moons, but he was a tall cat for his age. He was always told by his mother that he had inherited his father’s insane height. And insane was the right word to describe it. Jaggedpaw could often be mistaken for a young warrior, if it weren’t for the lack of muscle he still had. The tomcat was awaiting his growspurt, he had noticed a lot of cats had one, usually right before they became a warrior.

Boulderdust felt his heart clenching inside his chest. He didn't like seeing Redpaw. It made him feel bad and sad. "I've had many apprentices in my life and the one cat I wish could be my apprentice was you." meowed Boulderdust almost in a whisper. He let out a few coughs, feeling his lungs began to collapse. Okapi;
Redpaw shook his head,” No.” his voice sounded sorrowful and upset, as he choked out the no. He blinked away tears,” Caliapaw can help you, and if she can’t she could fetch Daydream or Shinefang!” He repeated trying not to believe it was the end of Boulderdust.

Icepaw had be chatting with some other new apprentices. This white duel eye colored molly was so excited to start training, she almost went looking for Lupinshadow in the warriors den but a older apprentice convinced her not to. Scenting her mentor out side the den the snow white apprentice pushed out of the den bubbling with excitement. "Your finally awake." She chirped eyes shining. Waving her white tail she bonded up to the dark pelted tom. " What are we going to do? " She ask assuming they were going training. Well that was all she thought apprentices did was training. What else would they do?

Lupinshadow gave Icepaw a wry grin, " How about we do some hunting practice? And maybe we'll try some battle moves afterward." The tom was confident in his apprentice's abilities, and although he enjoyed hunting he knew he couldn't just teach her the hunting part of being a warrior.

Today was a good day. Nothing could ruin this day. Passionstar looked more than pumped as he realized that his niece; his little she-kit was finally becoming a warrior. Evidently, he didn't forget that there were a few other apprentices that were more than ready to become warriors, and he was ecstatic about that as well. To not waste any time, Passionstar quickly scrambled on the high rock, looking over his clan with a bright grin. ''All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the high rock for a clan meeting!'' He boomed, his voice deep, but filled with melting excitement.

''Today, we have a new apprentice joining the ranks,'' As much as he wanted to get to the warrior ceremonies, there was a lone kit that needed to be appreciated into becoming an apprentice. ''Shellkit, please step forward.'' Passionstar called dutifully, staring at the young cat, he dipped his head at her. ''You have reached your sixth moon, and it has come to my attention that you are to be made an apprentice,'' He smiled, gently. ''So, until you become a warrior, your new name will be Shellpaw,'' He announced, then scanned the crowd, ''Russetwish will be your new mentor.'' His tail twitched.

Now, for the moment he was waiting for. Inhaling deeply, the tom straightened his posture to look as proud as can be. ''We have apprentices that have trained long and hard to become warriors to the clan.'' He stated. ''Foxpaw, Everpaw, Jaypaw, and Spiderpaw, please step forward.'' Once all the called apprentice stepped forward, Passionstar's eyes glowed brightly when he stared at his niece. ''You each have reached the time in your life important to every apprentice; to become a warrior. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, honoring it, and protecting it even if it costs your life?''

''I do.''

Passionstar nodded. ''With the power invested in me through Starclan, I commend you as warriors to them.'' He started with Foxpaw. ''Foxpaw, you will be known as Foxbound. The clan honors your resilience and fearlessness.'' Turning to Everpaw, ''Everpaw, you will be known as Everwalker. The clan is grateful for your determination and loyalty.'' He smiled. ''Jaypaw, you will be known as Jaylight. The clan appreciates your kindness and loyalty.'' Lastly, ''Spiderpaw, you will be known as Spiderfrost. The clan is thankful for your quickmindness and strong-willed.'' With each new made warrior, he touched the top of their head with his nose. ''Congratulations on reaching the newest journey in your life.''

With the ceremonies finished, Passionstar let out a breath of relief. ''With that finished, clan dismissed.'' He called down calmly, jumping off the high rock with a trip in his step. After shaking his pelt from the embarrassment, he couldn't deny the excitement that his kin would be a proud warrior of Thunderclan.

Eyes glazed over in exitement, a small kit ran in. Her eyes widened when she saw cats in her and she scented all the different herbs. She only knew two and what they were used for- wait, only three. She knew that poppyseeds helped with pain and sleep, cobwebs to stop bleeding and lavender. This was her least favorite. But, it was used to cover up the scent of death. She padded over to her and said, "C-Caliapaw?" Her eyes were huge with horror. "Can I ask you something?" Jasminekit knew that the medicine cat was busy but she wanted to ask quickly. She stared at her waiting. Is time always as slow as this? The herb scents were calming to her and she could sit and sort them all day. She wanted to be a medicine cat apprentice, but she didn't know how to ask.

The new apprentice nearly started bouncing up and down in excitement like a kit. “It was great! No siblings to fight for room with.” She thought of her sister who still needed to be made an apprentice. She’ll become one soon. She thought to herself. “All the other apprentices seem great! Plus you don’t get stepped on by any playing kits either.” Shellpaw laughed a bit at the last part.

It was a tense time for the clans, that was for sure, so this month's gathering had been a risk for all those attending. A light cream coloured she-cat laid in the ThunderClan clearing, grooming herself diligently. She had wanted to go to the gathering, but she had been chosen to stay here and guard the camp. All the better, she guessed, since she felt a bit of relief to be one of the only cats here. Gave her a little bit of time to herself. Ivorysong sighed, standing and getting to her paws to shake out her pelt before glancing around her.

A calico tortoiseshell tom patted into the clearing it looked pretty empty but that's what you would expect with a gathering going on the tom held his head high now scanning the clearing he stopped once he saw ivorysong making him smile . With a flick of his tail hazeltooth walked up to her looking calm as usual the she cat was one of the kindest cats in the clan and that he likes you couldn't really find a genuinely nice cat these days . Once he was in a few mouselengths away of her he stopped " good day ivorysong. Not up for the gathering ? Heh I couldn't blame ya after what happened last time I wouldn't want to go myself . And besides with all the tensions going on its best not to go. You know the old saying history repeats itself . " he meowed after that he looked around the clearing one last time then back at her " it's better without a lot of cats isn't it? It's ..calming " he added with a smile and a twitch of his whiskers .

It was very common for other cats in the clan to actively seek out sunny patches to lay in, to enjoy the warmth the light provided; some might even say it attracted them like moths to a flame. So, for a moment, before Daffodilkit approached, he watched the other kit. He watched as Shorekit seemed to lay there for a moment, chin raised slightly, breathing in the passing gust of breeze that ruffled his fur. The ginger and white tom kit tilted his head gently as he then saw a somewhat flustered look cross his face, as if his own body scolded him for staying like that for too long. No one had said anything to him, nothing had happened, and yet he seemed to break himself out of the peaceful trance he had been in. He only stayed watching curiously until the other tom had tucked his paws under himself and began to take the first couple of bites of his meal. He could have likely waited until he was done eating or something, but Daffodilkit felt compelled to approach now for some reason or another and politely dipped his head as he did approach.

The grey kit didn't seem to take notice of Daffodilkit's approach, too tied up in his eating and pondering to notice until he was right there asking his question. It seemed to have startled Shorekit, but the ginger and white kit was sure to talk with his soft voice. It was always how he preferred to talk with others, he didn't want to come off as loud and obnoxious. Then again, he didn't talk to too many in the nursery, more interested in pondering whatever it was that was currently on his mind.

Is he okay? thought the kit suddenly in worry, seeing of absolutely frightened the other kit seemed to be getting. He was about ready to just back off and give the kit space.

But eventually a stammered response was given and the ginger and white kit paused his retreat with a tilt of his head. His eventual response was a 'yeah', a sunny look of happiness crossing the young toms face. He would wait until Shorekit had shuffled over and made himself comfortable before laying on the ground beside him, looking over at the mouse that Shorekit offered to share before politely shaking his head. "I'm okay, I'm not very hungry right now." Again, his voice was as soft as ever, his eyes not focusing on the other kit, but instead at his paws. "There was a bug over here the other day, it crawled over my paw.. I wanted to see if it would come back today." He explained with a soft smile on his lips.

(( sorry if this reply was a little messy, I've been running around doing all the replies I possibly can for today! ))

There was a singular moment that was passed between them and shorekit glanced away, his nerves working him up into a frenzy on the inside. This conversation was dying like a flame with no air, why can't you be normal? he wrinkled his nose and shuffled alittle farther away from the giner and white tomkit pulling his mouse with him and taking a few gentle nibbles to fill the time. Maybe he's not off milk yet? No. He's too big to still be on milk. his mind worked on scenarios of why Daffodilkit wouldn't be hungry, which ultimately lead to. He just wasn't hungry. His over imaginative mind seemed to seize him like a snake around its prey, so captivating and luring but once you release what's going on theirs no way to come back from it. He blinked his eyes shut a second time as another gust of gentle wind caressed the two little kittens sweeping up the grass and tossing it in the wind for a singular moment than dying out on them, it was calming and settling to feel the wind. His mind gradually drifted away from the kit seated next to him and he cocked is head back up to the sky allowing he rays of sunlight to warm his skin.

A bug?

When Daffodilkit spoke again shorekit jerked his attenion back to the feline interest sparked in his eyes, but also a little tenderness. Daffodilkit Seemed to be talking so gently and smoothly as if he did know shorekit was scared, but was handling it well? A thought for another time. Was it sympathy or was it something else? ' ' a bug? Wh- what it look like? ' ' pressed shorekit feeling his nerves begin to knaw at his belly causing him extreme discomfort. He waited a second and let it fester for a moment than fade, ' ' d- do you like bu- bugs? ' ' asked shorekit his nose wrinkling at the thought of the small creepy crawlies.

He knew some of them where quite small and harmless but others like those.. Long legged wriggly ones could bite you! And it hurt. A lot. ' ' d- don't they bite you? ' ' pressed the grey tom his eyes widening as if Daffodilkit had just done a backflip and acted as though it where nothing. ' ' aren't y- you scared? ' ' he asked again shuffling a bit more than bending down to take a nibble at his mouse.

The idea of letting a bug crawl on you was very discomforting to him, in fact it made his skin crawl. He tucked his paws gently beneath his chest and allowed his attenion to be fully enveloped into Daffodilkit and what he had to say. His ears where perked and his eyes focused in on him, forgetting about the mouse beside him. ' ' do- don't you think they will ge- get in your ears and lay eggs in y- your brain? Or or bu- bite you all over? Maybe they will mu- make you all sick and ca- caliapaw won't know wu- wuh- what to do! ' ' shorekit explained turning to glance at his mouse for a longing second. He was no longer hungry. His appetite had faded quite quickly. He used a gentle grey paw to push the mouse further away from him for a brief second and he focused back in on Daffodilkit once again. Maybe he had let his mind think of all the possibilities but that was good, it meant Daffodilkit would know of all the risks and be careful not to get bitten!

((Do I have your permission to have him touch her to encourage her, like, press his nose to hers and make sure she understands what he says without her freaking out?))

Brambletalon fell to the ground “you got me!” He gasped in fake surprise before placing his tail over her back. “Are you having fun with the other kits?” Bramble rasped his tongue over his daughters ears, grooming her fur a bit.

Whitekit pushed her afther away with a purr. "Mostly all the kits in the nursery or too young or too old." replied young molly.

A purr rumbled through this chest “Hey! Someone has to groom you, you wild kit.” He laughed as he tried reaching for her again. “Hmmm...” he looked down at his daughter. To young or to old? He had thought there was some her age. “Alright Whitekit, I’m your age for the time being. What would you like to play?”

(( oc : sorry for the long delay; I have finals coming up and my posts will be spaced far apart as well as much shorter in length ))

Sweetfawn chuckled lightly to herself. She relished in getting up early, but knew that most cats preferred getting up at reasonable hours. "Yup," she purred. "It's good practice for the dawn patrol." She flicked her tail and smiled. "Ready for your first hunting lesson?" Sweetfawn was all but bursting with excitment, and she hoped that once Foxpaw woke up, she would be excited as well.

This is so late o.o I thought I replied to this sorry!)

Foxpaw stared at her in horror. Dawn patrols? Is there any way to get out of those? She thought of all the possible ways to get out of waking up early. At the mention of hunting, Foxpaw perked up immensely. “Yes! Let’s go hunt!” She exclaimed bounding towards the camp entrance.

Flower princess? Only one tom would call her that. Caliapaw’s expression lightened a little as she turned around, golden eyes now sparkling with mischief. ”Hey there, troublemaker. I’ve been better, but… you know, doing alright.” She sighed, turning around so that she was facing Jaggedpaw. The tom might get in trouble, but he was still her friend - and she still liked spending time with him. It was funny, since most of the time she wouldn’t really care to hang out with a troublemaker like the tom, but recently, she had been spending time with a lot of cats she hadn’t seen herself hanging out with. Jaggedpaw was one of her oldest and closest friends, after all, and despite their different personalities, they got along better than most cats did.

”Also, beautiful flower princess? Really, Jag? Is that the type of line you’re using on she cats these days?” Caliapaw knew that her friend’s inevitable heartbreak was coming. Anyone who flirted as hard as he did, who had as much to lose as he did, was going to crash hard. She already knew that. The only thing she could do at this point was to hope that he eventually learned his lesson, and trust that he was going to be smart enough to back off if it started getting to be too much for him. Caliapaw curled her tail around her paws, glancing around the clearing. She was still a little nervous to take too much time off, but since things were pretty slow this morning… she was willing to risk that. She was beginning to settle into her role, and everyday processes were becoming easier and easier for her as she practiced them more. It was nice, feeling like she was needed somewhere - nice, and stressful.

There were times that she honestly wasn’t sure whether or not she could focus completely on some things. ”Hey, how’ve you been? Training with Passionstar, I heard… pretty cool stuff, right? You were still a little guy when I started training. Big move up, bud.” Jaggedpaw was younger than her by… what felt like quite a bit, actually. The age difference didn’t seem as extreme now, but it’d certainly been much more in the beginning. Caliapaw was about 13 moons old now, so he’d still been a little kit when she became an apprentice. It was a wonder they’d ever even met, to be honest. Even when she’d become the medicine cat apprentice, he’d been a kit. He’d just started training a couple of moons ago, and Caliapaw had had to hear about it from a few of the gossips around the Clan.

She felt bad that she hadn’t been spending as much time with her friend, but in her defense… she’d been busy. Hopefully now that tensions were dying down, things wouldn’t be as intense, and she could get to work on some much-needed bonding time with her old friend.

Ambersky was currently stretched out on her side, batting a leaf around in front of her. Her amber eyes were sparkling slightly, a cheerful grin on her face as she continued to kick the leaf across the ground, blowing on it to move it away from her a bit before bringing it back toward her with a paw. However, she saw movement out of the corner of her eye, distracting her from the childish game, and turned her head to look, curious. Her amber eyes followed a young tom heading out of the apprentices den, and her ears perked slightly when she saw him head for the corner. She did hesitate for a second, but eventually abandoned the leaf to trot over to Thrushpaw, waving her tail in greeting. "Hiya!"

Thrushpaw jumped a little, not expecting anybody to come over and talk to him. He took a moment to clear his head and be able to respond, taking a deep breath to calm himself down a little bit. "Oh... Uh... Hi," he managed to meow in response awkwardly.

She understood - She, herself, had some anxiety when it came to interacting with others. Like now, she had this really weird feeling in her chest and stomach, and wanted nothing more than to turn and run and hide. But, she had initiated the encounter, it would be rude to turn and walk away. Besides, this Tom seemed just as nervous as she felt.

Hollywhisper purred as she watched her two new squirm and suckle. This was her first litter and she was happy, she didn’t think she could love this much but that was until she saw her kits. They brought her so much joy. With a happy purr, Holly laid her tail protectively around her kits.

Honey soon calmed down as soon as she felt her mother’s tail touch her. She kneaded into her mother’s belly as she suckled from her.

Of course, Sunscorch still liked to flirt.

A sliver of humor entered Leopardstrike's tone as she purred back, "Oh I can see how you've changed."

She had only meant the words in a friendly way but stiffened imperceptibly as soon as they left her mouth. Leopardstrike forced back her characteristic timidness from taking over, she knew she couldn't be as much of a loner as she was as an apprentice. She felt as though she was so preoccupied exploring and focusing on having fun by herself as an apprentice, she missed out on developing crucial relationships with her peers.

"Oh - no, I was actually just on my way out of the Warriors Den too, I had a nap after dawn so I'm feeling well rested now. Actually, I can't decide if I'm tired or energized I feel like I should be tired but I'm so excited... or nervous rather." Leopardstrike glanced downwards briefly, digging her claws into the dirt nervously. She cleared her throat, hoping her awkwardness wasn't noticeable, "I was about to head out hunting, would you like to come along?"

Adderpaw met her gaze, there were so many things that made her different than other she-cats, which was why he felt something he had never felt towards her, yet, he couldn't set his paw on it. As she yawned, he couldn't help but do it himself before giving a slight yawn. "Well, I'll answer both questions, so, for the first one, I haven't really been up to something this morning, it's been pretty boring before you finally showed up." He mewed softly, still smiling at the other apprentice. "And for the second question, I actually have no idea, unless you'd like to go have a walk on the territory, I have nothing planned." He mewed, he didn't care if she messed up sometimes, everyone did, and the two of them were no different. "So, if you wish to go out and have a nice little walk out there, just tell me, I sure don't mind." He added, his tail lightly touching the she-cat's paws.

Creampaw stuffed a purr as Adderpaw yawned after her, it was oddly amusing. Just being with the tom made Creampaw happy that was one reason she guessed they were such good friends. When he answered both questions even though she only ment to ask one she smiled. It was nice having someone who didn't mind you messing up. "It can be boring with nothing to do." The tri colored molly agreed as he continued. Creampaw's fluffy tail flicked a leaf from her side as Adderpaw invited he to go on a walk. " Sure! That sounds like fun! " She exclaimed. When she felt his tail brush her paw as gently as her mother had soothed her as a kit she felt her ears grow a bit hot. It was I usually, but it felt nice. Purring she stood and nugged the tom's shoulder with her head in a friendly gester. " Let's do that, we might even do some hunting if your up to it. The Queens will be hungry with all the kits they take care of. " Glancing over at the nursery the apprentice added her yellow eyes bright as always. With that she looked back at Adderpaw wanting him to lead the way.

Adderpaw smiled at the she-cat, his green hues aimed straight at the molly, he loved to make her happy, maybe he didn't have many friends, but the least he had, the better his true friends were, he knew he could count on those he had by his side. The brown tabby gave a nod. "I couldn't have said better myself." He mewed as she spoke about how it could be boring when you had nothing to do. His eyes shone in happiness as she agreed to go on a walk with him, he was pretty surprised by the way she reacted to his tail stroking her ears, but seeing she liked it, he kept on doing it, licking the top of her head as she nudged his shoulder. "Sure, we need to provide food and all that to the clan, it's perfectly understandable." Hazelkit heard the noises around her and sighed, she wanted to go and explore, but she had to open her eyes first. She thought of her mother, how she smelled of herbs and fish before she died, if only she had stayed in camp to give birth, hazelkit thought, then I would have a mother and have featherkit to play with... Hazelkit shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts of her sister, featherkit. She had no idea where featherkit was, and the queens tried to assure her that she was still alive, but hazelkit heard the uneasiness in their voices, telling her that her sister was probably dead. Hazelkit hated all the thoughts in her head and decided she needed a distraction. She sighed, knowing the best distraction would be to open her eyes, so she took a deep breath and let the light surround her.

The age difference didn’t seem as extreme now, but it’d certainly been much more in the beginning. Caliapaw was about 13 moons old now, so he’d still been a little kit when she became an apprentice. Jaggedpaw nodded at her response, not bothered at all by the name she called him. Of course, he was used to it. He’d always been, and probably always will be, a troublemaker. And Caliapaw was probably the one cat that knew that more than most. “Well, at least you’re not dead. That’s always something to brighten your day, right?” He purred, his like-colored eyes sparkling with humor. For what a complicated, hard to figure out cat he was, Jaggedpaw sometimes could be Captain Obvious.

At her next statement, his eyes widened in mock hurt. “Ouch Caliapaw. You really think of me that low now?” He placed his tail dramatically over his eyes. “You’ve struck me down once and for all!” He then lay on the ground, squirming about like a fish before becoming still. “I’m dead by the way, you didn’t do your job.” He snickered from where he lay on the ground. “But seriously.” He meowed as he sat up, “I am a tomcat of value. And I value each she-cat in her special way. Nobody else is the flower princess but you.” He smirked, curling his tail around his paws.

As she asked about training, Jaggedpaw’s smile faded from his face. But it wa donkey for a flicker of a second before he rolled his eyes and scoffed. “Pfft... please, Passionstar’s not a big-shot like everycat makes him out to be. In fact...” Jaggedpaw looked from side to side for a moment, as if looking to see if anybody else was listening. “I’m pretty sure I’ve got him wrapped around my paw.” He finishes, puffing his chest out. “Or at the least, he’s my equal. But either way, trashing is going.... swell.” He hoped that Caliapaw didn’t notice his hesitation. Truly, Jaggedpaw wasn’t even really sure where he stood with his mentor, he knew that they’d had their fair share of squabbles, probably more than their fair share. But of course, he would never admit that to Caliapaw.

[Honestly Passion would probably slap him if he heard him say that XD]

Flowereye padded around camp. She looked down at her paws and continued walking, only to step on a queen hornet. She Fell to the ground, cursing like a sailor.

"OW! FOR THE LOVE OF STARCLAN, THAT HURTS!" She yowled. Lilywing darted over.

"Are you okay, Flowereye?! What happened?!" Lilywing asked, frantically.

"I STEPPED ON A QUEEN HORNET!!!" Flowereye yowled louder, trying to get the med's attention. She didn't know if it would work, but she had tried.

"I NEED A MED! QUICK!" She hissed as the pain of the venom in her swelling paw pad flowed its way through the entire paw. She hissed and spat, her paw throbbing, the hornet's venom stinging terribly as it coursed its way through her veins.

"C'mon! We need to get you to a med!" Lilywing sprung to her feet, Flowereye's scruff in her grip. She ran and ran and ran, as she had heard Flowereye pleading for help all the way from camp, hinting she was somewhere in the forest. So to say, it was a long run from where they were. Lilywing sprinted up to Caliaflame, breathing heavily.

"WE HAVE A CAT THAT NEEDS HELP, QUICKLY!" Flowereye spat, sarcastically referring to herself.

{You're fine!!}

While Shorekit seemed to be having a silent meltdown about the lack of conversation, Daffodilkit enjoyed the silence just as much as the conversation. He was perfectly content with both and if there was nothing more to say, then he'd happily just sit here with the other kit in the sunshine. Currently he sat watching his own white paws, waiting to see if the beetle, or any beetle would come crawling across them. He'd even be happy if a bee landed on them, or a butterfly, or any kind of insect. But even if one didn't happen by, he could at least enjoy the sunshine and the company of Shorekit. Meanwhile he would easily breath in the newleaf air, or was it greenleaf? He wasn't quite sure and hadn't bothered to ask anyone in the nursery. It didn't matter all too much to him, he just knew it was warm, and he liked the warmth.

Maybe if I sit really really still..

Slowly he moved his head to look over at the other kit as he questioned what it looked like. There was a long pause as the ginger and white kit tried to recall the exact physical description of the insect. "Um.." Still his voice was soft and warm sounding. "It was.. It was kind of green.. With yellow on it. It was shiny and when I patted it with a paw, it had a hard back."
The next question he was a little more prepared for and eagerly nodded his head with a wide grin. Even just thinking about bugs seemed to bring brightness to his eyes. "I love bugs! They're my friends." Now there was even a slight purr rumbling in his fuzzy chest.

"Bite me?" Questioned Daffodilkit, cocking his head slightly. "No, this one didn't bite me. It's legs were kind of prickly, but it didn't hurt too much." The way that the other kit's eyes widened almost caused him to scoot closer. "I'm not scared, no! Are you scared?" He asked politely, nothing but friendliness and concern in his eyes for the other cat. It was too easy for him to get attached to others and want to help them.

There was a slight silence after Shorekit went on about the dangers and possibilities, but it didn't exactly change the ginger and white kit's thought on bugs. "I don't think they'll do that. The bug I met the other day was very nice. He laid right on my paw and I think he took a nap." He was right back to smiling now, looking back down at his paws as if he could still see the beetle there. "He was very nice." Repeated the kit. "If he comes back today, I can show you him. Maybe he'll even take a nap on your paw!"

Fear seemed to fade and the small grey tom refocused on the ginger cat beside him. Somehow his calming nature almost seemed to settle him, it was odd to think it was different in a way that allowed his mind to comprehend daffodil. The mouse was forgotton as the small grey cat turned his full attenion to the other tom, his eyes widened and jaw slightly hung agap in surprise. Green and yellow? Like a daisy sorta. How pretty. the little kit was caught up in daydreaming a beetle with hairy legs and a green and yellow shiny back. Maybe it had a horn on its face and beady red eyes. Than he wondered whether or not bugs had teeth, they ate things, but what exactly did they eat with? What exactly did they eat? Dirt? That thought was funny to him and he couldn't surpress but a simple laugh and allow his whiskers to twitch gently. What if cats ate dirt? he could imagine passionstar with his face to the ground gobbling up dirt, than shorekit lost it, his belly was hurting and his eyes watering from trying to keep in the laughter but all of a sudden he just couldn't do it anymore and just let out a mrrow of mousebrained laughter forgetting all about the bug and daffodilkit.

Once shorekit couldn't laugh anymore and his belly clenched her rolled onto his side panting heavily eyes watering with tears. It was quite rude bursting into laugher and not really explaining it but he allowed himself to calm for a minute than sat back up. " I just thought of something- yeah " the small Tom became flustered and glanced down at his paws " sorry "

Thinking back to before he had interrupted with his laughing he picked the conversation back up. " friends? Don't you have cat friends? Can you talk to them? " he asked n a mildly concerned way studying the toms face quite closely. It was obvious that shorekit wasn't too loaded on cat friends either and he radiated concern for the ginger Tom, he found comfort when he was alone whereas he wasn't too sure that's how the ginger tomcat felt about cat friends. He shuffled and settled back down so he was leaning comfortably on his side. " do bugs actually talk in the first place? " he paused to consider that, but he supposed you couldn't really talk without teeth either and he didn't get the chance to find out if bugs had teeth.

The Tom looked confused for a moment than he shuffled his paws and looked back up at daffodil " you would introduce me ?" he asked questioningly, he leaned forward and studied the other kits paws as if it where there now " I'm n- nu- not scared just concerned that it'll hurt you " he added in briefly sitting back up and puffing out his chest. Although he understood he wasn't fooling anybody. " or, hurt me, or, or run away " he added with a prompt nod.

Boulderdust tried his best to help soothe Redpaw, but he couldn't figure out how to. "I know you'll miss me and I'll miss you too. I'll be at the starcave everyday waiting for you. You don't have to believe in Srarclan, but that doesn't mean you won't see me again." Boulderdust coughed out.

(Okay I'll bring Berrylight)

Berrylight heard cries, reaponding quickly by running into the elders den. He looked down at Redpaw who was beside boulderdust. He listened for a sign of movements from the elder, but found none. "He's dead." whispered the young warrior.

”Get up, you crazy weirdo!” The she cat half commanded, half laughed as she glanced around the clearing. Jaggedpaw’s antics were sure to attract attention at some point - and she liked being left alone more. It was nice to have space every once in a while, and Caliapaw was given the chance at times… which was nice. ”Really, Jag? Really? If you value all she cats that much, then why not use their names?” Her expression remained serious, at least for a little while. The medicine cat did believe that it would be nice to hear Jaggedpaw use her name once in a while, since it was always “beautiful” something or another.

So, so, SO flirty. He’d pretty much always been that way, as far as Caliapaw knew. How could anyone be so different from her and yet make such a great friend? It didn’t make sense. Her ears went back a little at Jaggedpaw’s disrespect of their leader. She knew the tom was full of himself, but this was a whole different level of being “full of himself.” An unbelievable level. ”Wrapped around your paw, wow. Sounds like you’ve really got your life together then, huh?” Something was clearly wrong. It was hard to tell when things were off, but Caliapaw would know soon enough. She would just sit and wait and let him tell her whenever he was ready.

It could be days before he admitted that something was wrong, but she didn’t like getting involved that much. Even though Jaggedpaw was her friend, she always felt a little weird getting into his personal business. After all, as flirty and annoying as he could be, he had always shown her a pleasant level of respect and supported her. The least she could do was the same thing for him. And after all, Caliapaw wasn’t good at prying into other cats’ business subtly. She was used to getting to the point, or not saying anything at all. Messing around was definitely not one of her strong suites.

(I was gonna have Cal slap him and then changed my mind lol)

Fawnsong stretched out, having been up early on the morning patrol. Her Tri-Colour pelt rippled beneath her well toned fur, swiping her tongue around her fawn jaw she rose. Padding toward the fresh kill pile, she selected a small blackbird carrying it off to the corner of the clearing, away from others to enjoy her meal.
Her amber eyes flashed in the sunlight as she settled herself into the soft sand before tucking into her meal.

Passionstar always liked to get to know new friends, depsite being vague and quiet enough to not allow them to get to know him. Not that he was guarded, but rather a listener. He believed himself as being mundane and uncertain about things in life. If he focused on others, then he saw the opportunity to bring uncertainty out of his life. With Magnoliaspark, he had a feeling that they would maintain a good, steady friendship. Hopefully, he wouldn't do anything idiotic to mess that up - he was pretty idiotic. Thoughtless, anything of those synonyms. Passionstar found that it was nice talking with Magnoliaspark about their favorite weather. His eyelid was becoming heavy, but he wouldn't succumb to sleep yet. He shifted himself in his nest, laying his head down on his paws with a lazy smile crossed on his muzzle. ''We should hangout sometime, honestly. Whenever I'm not too busy...'' Which he couldn't admit when that would be, but he hoped that he'd be able to make time for her, like he hoped to make time for all his other friends.
