"Yes im ok Deerkit" Stormkit meowed as he smiled.

"I'm awfully tired." She mewed, and fell back asleep

"Ok" Stromkit meowed as he went to sleep next to Deerkit.

Stormkit was in a field of flowers looking around in his dream.

Pigeonpaw padded quietly--well, as quietly as she could with her deformed paws--across the clearing and to the nursery. She carefully nosed her way inside, seeing all the kits squabbling and floundering about with one another. The first one who met eyes with her was Petuniakit.



"Hey!" the gray apprentice whispered sweetly to the kitten. "Do you want to play a game? The elders are awfully bored in their stuffy old den. They would just love some company. I think a visit would absolutely make their day. I was just about to go visit them myself! Do you want to come along with me?" Even though she had ulterior motives here, she was honest and kind to the kit. Even if they were actually just pulling a prank on Bubblingbee, the other, nicer elders probably would enjoy some company. And Pigeonpaw liked hearing their stories anyways. She figured Petuniakit might enjoy some time outside the nursery as well. Really, it was a win-win situation in her eyes.

Deerkit woke up, and looked over at Stormkit, who was still sleeping. She tackled him, "Wake up!" she laughed.

[Forestkit]

"Why did you do that Deerkit i was sleeping" Stormkit meowed as he got up.

[Goldenmist]

"Exactly, you were sleeping!" She laughed, then ran outside of the den. She ran back in again. Deerkit ran out again, then finally, sat in the den, and fell back asleep.

Watching the apprentice come into the nursery Petuniakit perked her ears with interest. Normally bigger cats didn't come in here. There where always kits and queens in here. Which was something that was taking the ivory and ginger molly a while to get used to.
Being addressed Petuniakit smiled, waving her tail behind her. "That sounds fun! I've never been to the elders den. But I think it'll be better then being in here!" The amber eyed kit answered looking up at the bigger molly. A lot of things where new to her and getting used to being addressed as 'kit' was one of them.
Standing up and bouncing a bit she hummed. "Are we leaving now? Or do we have to wait? Wait uh what's your name? I'm Petunia." The molly asked pausing a bit at the end. "Or Petuniakit," She added twisting her face in thought. Fallen hadn't told her if she could still use her name Petuniakit. Nor had any of the queens. Then again she guessed it didn't matter.

"Exactly, you were sleeping!" She laughed, then ran outside of the den. She ran back in again. Deerkit ran out again, then finally, sat in the den, and fell back asleep.
"Ugh never mind I'm going back to sleep" Stormkit said as he went back to sleep.

Beetlepaw's face reflexively twisted up at the familiar scent that hit her nose as soon as her head passed through the nursery entrance. It was a painful reminder that she'd never share a warm nest with her siblings again. She hadn't realized she'd miss something she used to think she hated. Her heart wrenched. Being an apprentice was nothing like she'd been told it would be.. As she glanced sidelong at Pigeonpaw, Beetlepaw wondered if she had ever felt the same.

Beetlepaw stopped herself from rolling her eyes at the kit's eager response. Ugh. Kits. And to think she was one not even a moon ago. She was never like that, right? She considering making some snarky remark, but quickly thought better of it. Besides, she had a stick full of bugs wedged in her mouth. Letting Pigeonpaw do all the talking was easier anyway. Growing impatient, Beetlepaw shouldered Pigeonpaw and gestured with her tail that they'd ought to hurry it up. She wasn't about to stand there getting bitten by a swarm of angry bugs while they chatted about the weather.

Burrowed in the warm mixture of rushes and reeds as the fuzzy blossom heads tickled her pink nose and a twitch of her ear at the kits loud ruckus she started to stirr. A sight of white fangs and pink tongue flashed for only a few seconds when she yawned and her white paws rubbed along her narrow face. Not a moment later, the young warrior roused from a deep slumber and purred at the sight of kits sleeping peacefully and playing. "May Starclan watch over 'em," a simple, yet meaningful prayer she spoke out every day and night. Sometimes, she imagined the star twinkling cats reaching down each of her clan-mates with a touch on the cheek or nose to remind them that they are around watching and guiding their each paw steps. The tortoiseshell tabby yellow eyes fluttered over to the tiresome queens then over to the kits bouncing around with energy. Some of the little ones already use to cuddling with a stranger like herself, who's only been part of the clan for a short while. Sugarapple murmured a soft greeting to the kits and a nose touch with others. The rough ones chased after her long tail as she purposely flicked it around and laughed when they pounce and missed it. A glance over the sleeping queens, she can tell they were tired and stressed out. And at least she can do is to watch over them while they slumber.

Deerkit woke up, and yawned. She noticed Stormkit, but instead of pouncing on him, she just sat by him.

Stormkit was still asleep he woke up and noticed Deerkit sitting next to him he was surprised but didn't show it he look at her and meowed "did you sleep well"

"Yep! I was a brave warrior in my dream!" She got into the hunter's position, but wobbled over. She left out the part about her being a queen. "What about you?" She said, still on the ground.

I slept well my dream was um nevermind what do you want to do Stormkit said looking at Deerkit.

"Doesn't matter, I'm not tired but don't feel like winning against you in a battle." She meowed

Deerkit yawned, and groomed herself.

How come she'd never seen this kit before? Sugarapple can memorize every queen, kit and those ready to be born. Maybe because she's so small? It doesn't matter. The poor thing looked alone and she just want to make up her day. Sugarapple slowly limped up to her from behind, watching the creamy kit pluck a moss to just put it back down again. She couldn't help but to purr and coiled her tail around the little scrap. "Now, now look at you with those sad honey eyes of yours," she mewed, tipping her head. "Whats your name tiny one? Wanna tell Sugarapple why you're so blue?"

Ivykit pauses, her eyes finally opening. She breathed in the scent of her mother and mewed warmly.

Laying in her nest, Mosskit yawns, her open jaw opening to show her sharp kit teeth. She gets up and arches her back, stretching. She shakes her head and looks around at the other kits.
Who should I play with today?

The young molly hadn't expected to be approached. The nursery had gotten quieter and Petunia thought all the kits had left and the queens gone out to watch them or take a nap. So why was this queen here?
Looking up Petuniakit blinked her sorrow filled eyes. Sugarapple? That was a pretty name. Though the patchy kit couldn't figure out why she wanted to know what her name was and what was the matter. For some reason she didn't even give off a frightening feeling. Sugarapple sort of reminded her of her mother. In a way that made tears burn her eyes. "I'm Petuniakit… but could you just call me Petunia?" She asked looking into the queens yellow eyes with her honey colored ones.
After a moment of silence from the kit she dropped her head again. "...I just miss my mama..." She explained pulling her tail tightly around her paws.

“Petunia,” she repeated sweetly, gazing right back at her with a sweet smile. “Pretty name for a pretty kit such as yourself.” Sugarapple listened quietly to her small and soft voice, the smile slowly faded once knowing why she’s more sadder than a hog on a rainy day. The young warrior bent down to press her cheek against the poor cream kit to comfort her. Briefly looking at the queens and den entrance, she stared back at little Petunia. Curiosity raced through her mind trying to recall any cat that looks similar to the kit around camp or the worst possible case, the queen is no longer with them. She wouldn’t dare to ask those questions for it may bring up painful memories and can’t bare to watch her cry. “I bet your mama loves you very much. If you want, I can watch after you as long as you want me,” she purred. "Like the ole' saying, 'It's best to have good company than none at all' and I believe you and me can be good friends."

Fazekit leaped on to Mosskit's back pinning her to the ground. " I got you now" he said to her.

The small kit let out a playful screech, going limp. She stuck out her tongue like she was dead.
"Bleghhh,"

Fazekit got off her tilting his head to one side and asking "are you okay?"

She gets up and staggers, still playing. She turns to him and suddenly smirks, jumping up and pouncing on him.
"Hah! You fell for it!"

" No fair " he said to Mosskit, then he suddenly rolls over and is know until of her.

Dewkit, Hailkit, Mintykit, and Flintkit crept slowly out the nursery entrance.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Mintykit squeaked.
"Of course!" Declared Hailkit. "Everyone will be sleepy, and Shiverpetal won't even see us!"
"I don't know, maybe this is a bad idea.." Mumbled Dewkit.
Flintkit trotted over to the medicine den, his gray paws fluffy and tiny, "Hurry up, I don't think she's in here!" Flintkit announced. Hailkit shoved Mintykit over, and Dewkit followed reluctantly.

Meanwhile Rainsplash slept soundly in her nest, unaware of the trouble her kits were causing.

She sqeaks and bats at his muzzle, her claws sheathed. Then she stops and grins.
"You wanna go play mossball? Ooo or maybe we can go bother the apprentices!"

The walk from his den to the nursery wasn't long, and Lionstar wasted no time in entering the nursery. He had to duck down a little, unfortunately-- to avoid his head hitting the top of the den. "This is the nursery," he announced with a wave of his tail, glancing behind him to see if the loner and her spawn had followed. "Your kit will be sleeping in this den until he is old enough to become an apprentice."

Esmeralda nodded and picked up Snow once again, following the golden leader outside of his den. She had been planning on leaving as soon as she knew her son was safe, he had nothing to worry about. As she silently followed the Clan cat to what she presumed to be the nursery (given the strong scent of milk radiating from it), Esmeralda allowed herself to relish in holding Snow one last time.
Once they reached the nursery, she set him down and licked the top of his head. "I must go now, my sweet. Don't wait for me to return." She nuzzled his cheek, breathing in his scent before stepping away and looking at Lionstar. "Thank you for allowing my son to stay. I trust him to be raised safely within this Clan of yours. Now, I will leave. Goodbye, my sweet Snow." Esmeralda stifled a sob as she turned around and walked from the camp, not bothering to look back. She had to leave, not much time was left before she would be gone for good. So, hearing her son call "goodbye, Momma! Fight those badgers really good!", she felt her heart burst with hope that he would become a fine young feline.
Not to long after leaving the Clan's territory, she collasped, her chest feeling as though it were caving in. Right on time, she thought with a saddened chuckle. She lay there, suffering through her last breaths as her sickness took over her body. Finally, she thought, thank you, Lionstar, before her heart stopped.

Snow looked up at the big weird tom with his tiny ears flattened, a look of both distrust and fear in his eyes. He was now alone in a place full of unfamiliar cats, next to an unfamiliar tom that had a weird name. "Lie on stars? How do you do that? And what is a river clam?" The small, marbled tom-kit puffed up his chest, looking up at the golden leader with a stare of confidence.
He then looked around at the foreign place, small tail wriggling back and forth. "I'm hungry! Momma hasn't fed me in days!" Snow whined, plopping his butt on the ground and huffing loudly, "Do you clam cats have food? My tummy hurts! I want my Momma!" His whining kept going on and on now that his Momma wasn't there to scold him for doing so, his voice high pitched and words coming out as fast as they could.

"Oh! Who do we have here..?" her voice faded as she watched over Lionstar and a distraught rogue queen in a respectful distance. The tabby knew what was going on judging by the rogue's glassy, sorrowful gaze and the kit that followed along with her. Her yellow eyes followed until the queen left, heartbreaking, as she imagined the feline's sobbing once out of sight so her kit won't see her in a miserable break down. Sugarapple dipped her head at Lionstar, bending down with a purr to take a good look at the newcomer. She chuckled quietly at his whining. "Now look what we have here. Arent you a sweet face?" In a motherly embrace she curled her fluffy tail around the kit for him to stay warm. " Your momma won't be back for a while, but we clan cats will protect you. What do you want to eat? I'm all ears, sweetie."

At the sound of a voice, Snow spun around, looking up at the queen.Once her tail curled around him, he leaned into her, accepting the warmth of her body. His head tilted to the side and he stared at her with wide, confused eyes. "Who are you? What's a clam cat? I want a mouse! Momma always fed me mouse before she stopped hunting!" His copper gaze was trained on the molly, seemingly forgetting Lie on stars's presence by them. Snow gave a quiet whine and snuggled into the molly's pelt, nuzzling her belly as her warmth surrounded his tiny form.

"The names' Sugarapple and you must be Snow," she chuckled softly, it's been a while since she'd dealt with a really hyper kit. The warrior blinked in surprise to feel his icy body pressed against his, if the kit stayed out any longer in the woods he would've been catsicle by now! Muzzle down touching his body, tail wrapped around the poor thing she shared all her warm embrace. Like a red string connected between them, the molly was instantly attached to him and ready to take him in as her son. "Clan, sweetie. It's when a bunch of cats live and work together as one...it's, uh, what we are to put it simple." Quickly on her paws, she turned to approach a queen that was finish feeding and had a left over of a plump mouse. Some words were spoken, the queen's eyes looked over at the orphan kit and nodded at Sugarapple. She turned back around with mouse in her jaws returning back to Snow's side. "Say no more, here," placing down the prey, she shoved the delicious morsel with her nose toward the kit. For a while her yellow eyes kept observing his light white and brown marble markings..it came to her that the word 'snow' didn't really suit him. She tipped her head in thought and was silent for a minute or so with a light 'hm'. Then it hit her. Sugarapple eyes lit up like a match, "Since you're part of Riverclan now, young one, your name will now be Palekit. Your fur is brown and white..yet very light and pale looking, I think the name suits you!" hxneysuckle

Snow immediately began to dig into the mouse, his tiny jaws clamping around a piece of prey before he tore it off. Usually, his Momma would have tore up the prey and fed it to him in small chunks, but he was old enough to eat it himself now, he was sure of it.
The pale kit almost missed Sugary apple's words as she spoke of his new name. His ears twitched and he looked up at her, bits of mouse sticking to his mouth. He tilted his head to the side with interest, not even noticing that he had tiny bits of mouse sticking to his cheeks, paws, chest, and more. Snow simply blinked toward Sugary apple with a curious gaze. "Pale... kit?" His nose scrunched up a bit as he tested out the new name, feeling weird to have hinself be called something other than his Momma named him. "But what about what Momma named me?" His whiskers twitched, looking rather comical with his food sticking to them.

Sugarapple blinked, he got messy rather quickly. "Mm, I should've made some' chunks for you to make it easier," she murmured, talking to herself. Laying down right in front of him, she extended her paws to wrap around the little scrap, pulling him closer so she can clean him right up. In amidst of licking off the mess her ears twitched to his question and her yellow eyes looked down at him. It was silent for a few seconds and after cleaning him up, the crippled warrior sighed. "I know it's a bit weird right now for you but now you are a clan cat. Your momma will always know as her lil' Snow but as a Riverclan cat, you are now Palekit. You'll get use to it, I promise." A soft smile spread across her maw and she touched nose with the marbled kit. "After all that eatin' aren't you a little bit sleepy?"

Reluctantly, he accepted the name change, curling up into Sugary apple's warm embrace. As if on cue, he yawned to her words and nuzzled into her, suddenly growing sleepy. "Yes, Momma..." Palekit mumbled, half asleep. His tiny jaws stretched wide in a second yawn before he fell asleep against the queen's side, feeling warmer and more comfortable than he ever had when sleeping with his Momma. She was always coughing, waking him up and having to step outside the den to leave him be. But now, he could sleep wonderfully, with nothing waking him up.

Grouseheart looked to the kit who jumped back, a gentle smile on his muzzle as he slowly laid himself down, to make himself look smaller and less threatening to the younger cat. The elder had a small amount of white fur around his muzzle, but was otherwise mostly brown with darker brown striping. His eyes were a kind, emerald green that seemed to sparkle with light and happiness.
"Well hello there little one, what is your name?" The older tom spoke with a soft purr, eager to get to know the kit. Even as old as he was, he enjoyed making new friends and talking to new cats, even if they were kits.

His eyes were a kind, emerald green that seemed to sparkle with light and happiness.

It was still a long while before dawn, but Bluekit was up and at em'. He sat wide-eyed at the entrance, smiling up at the endless blanket of stars above him. "Silverpelt...!" He whispered, remembering the term his mother taught him. I wonder if Birdkit and Magnoliakit have seen it yet?? Whirling back around, the blue kitten rushed over to his family nest, nearly tripping over his own paws in the process.

"Birdkiiiit, Magonliakiiiit...are you awake?" He shook his sleeping brother's shoulder with a paw, then nudged his sister with his nose.

Darkness. Warm, comfortable, darkness. Of course this was all shattered when Bluekit prodded her with his nose. She waved her paws around until she lightly smacked her brother on the head as a comeback to waking up the tired molly. It wouldn’t hurt him of course, it was more of a playful swipe than anything. “Bluekit, it’s still dark outside! What’re you thinking?” Closing her eyes once again, she tried to get comfortable and return to her slumber once again. It only took a matter of seconds to realize that it wasn’t going to happen. It seemed like the dilute calico would be up for good now.

Rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes with her paw, Magnoliakit finally stood up. Her legs wobbled slightly, not used to being awake yet. Deciding sitting down is the best, she cocked her head at the russian blue. “Why’d you wake us up, anyways?” Feeling a bit of regret for smacking Bluekit on the head, she couldn’t help but apologize. “Sorry I smacked you. I didn’t mean to, really. It was just you were annoying me, y’know?.” The molly mewed, not knowing how much of a backhanded apology it was. She was curious, though, why he woke them all up. What could be so important that it couldn’t wait until sunrise?

She could be a bit of a fusser when she wanted to be.

Palekit had been hopping around the outside of the nursery, chasing a feather that had fallen into camp. He crouched down, wriggling his rump before leaping up and stamping his paws onto the feather. A squeak of delight escaped the kit and he puffed up his chest in triumph. At the call of his name, however, Palekit's ears perked and he trotted into the nursery, sitting down in front of Sugary apple and tilting his head to the side. "Am I in trouble?" he questioned, a worried expression crossing his face, "I didn't do anything bad..." Palekit looked at his paws and shuffled them, ears lowering as he tried to think of what he could have done wrong. Did he not guard the river clam good enough?

He blinked in confusion, head tilted to the side. He was going to get a mentor? And become a warrior? Palekit frowned at the thought. He wanted to stay with Sugary apple, and when his Momma came back he would go away with her! But if he had to... the tom huffed and flicked his tail reluctantly, pushing away the thought.
At Sugary apple's explanation, Palekit's ears flattened. He hadn't been saying things right? The marbled tom-kit wrinkled his nose and frowned. "But I thought I was saying things correctly!" he whined, claws flexing into the ground beneath him. Palekit looked to the side, thinking over his adoptive mother's words. How hadn't he been saying words right? He said 'em just how he was told!
He shuffled his paws before turning back to Sugary apple, opening his mouth to try to repeat what she had said. "Sugar... apple. Sugarapple," the kit repeated, lips pulled into a frown. It felt weird saying it like that! Palekit huffed. His way of pronouncing things was much better.

A flash of warmth reflected in her yellow hues in a welcome and purred, touching nose with the little scrap. Once Honeykit asked such a question the warrior was kind of startled. "U-Um, sweetie," she hushed down with a brief glance of Palekit hoping he didn't hear her. "I..believe it's not a good time to talk about that now. What matters is that he is safe and sound with us. You two will be the future of Riverclan and I will watch both of you at your every paw steps." Sugarapple faced the troublesome marbled kit again and spoke up. "Haven't you heard?" she looked back, winking at Honeykit so that she knows it's just a joke. "Lionstar doesn't tolerate whiny, troubling kits. It's known that he will stomp on them until they turn to dust has punishment. I'll be sad if that happens to a certain white and brown some kit. " She faked wept, laying down with her paws covering her eyes, pausing to peek to see if he's looking then continued weeping.

She would stay by her side all day if she could. Maybe when she gets up she'll feel a bit better. I'll introduce her to the kits to make her feel more at home. Moving away from the corner of the nursery she approached Honeykit and Alderkit. "Any other kits want to join? Don't be shy!" she called out softly.

Once again, Sparrowkit woke up. He stretched before walking over to Sunkit. "Wake up!" Sparrowkit said as he tugged at Sunkit's fur. Even though Sunkit was great at annoying Sparrowkit, Sunkit was his best friend. He never really talked to other kits, just Sunkit. "I wanna go see Dad! I think I saw him go into Lionstar's sleeping area."

The kit forgot all about the warmth and didn't care about the cold when he shot out of the den with Sparrowkit in tow.

Featherkit sat in the corner, her eyes searching the other kits, as she tried to find the most friendly kit to approach. She felt strangely shy, a feeling she had never felt before. Her gut seemed to be failing her, as she didn't know who to approach. They might laugh at her calico pelt, thinking that she was a kittypet. Maybe they wouldn't want to be her friends because her mother abandoned her.
Is something wrongs with me? She thought worriedly, and buried her head in her paws. Will I ever make friends?

cherry'kit lifted her gaze up to see the calico kitten in the corner of the nursery, she smiled wishing she could go say 'hi', but she was stuck in her nest due to the cough. Cherry'kit sat up in a small loaf watching the calico kitten with interest, she put on a smile to show she was friendly before letting out a tiny cough.

He turned back to his foster sisters. "Have you two seen Sugarapple lately?" He asked, sharp kitten claws working the moss beneath his paws. "Are you doing any better Cherrykit?" he asked, tilting his head at the shekit.

"The new name really suits a beauty like you darlin'." Looking down she smiled cheek to cheek at the curious kit. "And who is this small bundle of cuteness?"

An alluring tune float out of the queen's maw once taking a paw step inside the nursery den. She'd only went out for some air doing some daily stretch outs so that her muscles won't weaken. Already from the new, strong scents she can tell there's new kits ! My goodness, Riverclan is getting popular! Stepping up to the crowding, busybody hyper kits she greeted everyone with a loud purr. Her pale yellow eyes glanced at Cherrykit who seemed to be feeling much better. The diluted tortie's tied up heart quickly loosened up now that it looks like she's out of harms way and no other kits here looked ill. Thank Starclan, she thought heavily in a small prayer. "Cherrykit sweetie, nice to see you up and chattin', my heart feels lighter now but you will need a check up soon from Shiverpetal," eyes strolled over to Honeykit. "Thank you for keeping her company. I can tell you will be a fine warrior indeed~!" Amazement flashed through her warm gaze at the sight of Asterkit. Wow, he's certainly bigger now. Not much longer until his ceremony, she will miss the speedy kit. "Asterkit, I saw you dashin' around early on', my eyes could barely keep up," she purred, brushing her tail against his shoulder. "Now that you're gettin' older, you hafta be careful of the young kittos here but you're speed is amazin' sweetie- maybe you should be called Asterdash or Asterflight! Agility is definitely on your side and will be a great asset to Riverclan. " Next, she saw two new faces. How adorable are they, she fought the urge to swoop them into her paws and cuddle the two lovely bundles. "Good thing I have been keeping somewhat of a track, haha. So you must be Featherkit anddd Greenkit?" Green? Ha, it reminded her of a certain grumpy white tom. Unlike those mean green eyes, this kit hues only shimmered innocence. "Nice to meet you two. It's scary at first but I know you two will fit in well. Any help I'll be right here lickety split!" Finally but not least, the grey kit strut forward from Honeyflame's side to greet himself with proud eyes. Sugarapple nodded. It's nice to have a happy kit come in to lighten up the moods of others who still grieving of their lost/gone parents. "You're darn right, Pebblekit. Asterkit threw his adoptive mother a huge grin. "Thanks, ma!" From his four moons with Sugarapple, he had picked up certain accented words from her.

"I'm really excited to become an apprentice! Especially with Harekit and Mosskit. Harekit and I are gonna be the two strongest tom cats in the clan. We're going to get into training competitions and wrestle just like the elite warriors."

He was just as tall as Sugarapple. He was going to be a tall tom. Though his shoulders were narrow and he was thinner than a reed. The tom cat was long in every aspect, from his legs to his narrow face.

"It's good to see you won't be lonely in the nursery without us." He nudged the she cat. "But I'm so super duper excited." He bounced on the balls of his paws, claws flexing in the moss.

Even though Asterkit was tall, he was all kitten fat and soft baby fur. He didn't have an ounce of hardness on him. All of his warm days in the nursery and playing with his friends had kept him soft and innocent.

"Ah!" she suddenly realized she had to hide. She dove under her nest, her tail and back paws sticking out.

cherrykit even though it had only been seconds she felt weaker every number featherkit counted what am i doing...i should be in my nest resting, but i don't want to ruin the fun like last time...! cherrykit would go in and out of consciousness, but she shook her head and kept her eyes fixed on the calico kitten.

"Ready or not,here I come!" Featherkit leapt up with joy, and scrambled over to a clump of moss, which had two legs and a tail. "I found you, Greenkit!" Her green eyes swept across the den, and locked on another moss clump. She bounded over and shuffled moss aside. "Found you, Pebblekit!" But where was Cherrykit? She swept her gaze across the walls, finding a small hole. She peered inside and shouted when she saw fur. "Hiya Cherrykit! I found you!" She sat down with a proud look on her face. She had found everyone!

She’d try to climb a rock for a better view and see GreenKit “I found you GreenKit!” she’d bounce back towards the nests. PebbleKit dived into the bedding, uncovering CherryKit. “Yay! I found you too! I didn’t even notice you!” As she looked she still couldn’t find FeatherKit. She probably hid somewhere that PebbleKit wouldn’t accidentally find her. cherrykit finished grooming her fur and giggled a bit, but she let out a nasty cough, her legs would shake and she just flat out collapsed on the nursery floor panting i-is it getting worse, I thought I was getting better! she thought as panic ran through her small body, her head felt hot and cherrykit was starting to get dizzy.

Dirtfur came back from his discussion with Lionstar. It was HoRrIbLe! The golden leader demanded the deputy with such coldness. But inside, deeply, the dirt-tom couldn't blame him for that the tom had a bad attitude ever since he got his position as deputy. Stress crept and waved near his filthy pelt whilst his tail dragged in the dried mud to the stone ground of the nursery. "Cherrykit?" he called dully for the sick kit.

cherrykit was sprawled out, eyes half closed as she panted this can't be good... she thought with much worry, but she remained the same. cherrykit had shown early stages of green cough for a few sunrises and she was starting to fear the worst if this continued.

He lifted Cherrykit and took her to the medicine cat's den and set her down inside the den. "May StarClan guide your paws..." he hoped for the kit.
