Personality

Overview: Stagheart is one of those mysterious, brooding guys who really just wants to be loyal to his Clan and fight for them. He is a gruff kitty and is rough around the edges, though most would say they love him once they get him to open up beyond the curt words. He has a heart of gold and deeply cares about his Clan's wellbeing as well as the Warrior Code. He tends to be awkward or short when he really just doesn't know what to say or do, though he usually means well.
He reluctantly became a dad of sorts, having found a kitten abandoned in a berry bush. Any scents that might've put her with a Clan or loner affiliation were completely gone; she was entirely on her own. As he would often say, it was like she was "dropped by StarClan itself". Naming her after where she was found, he took Berrykit into RiverClan, unable to leave her to die. Some cats disagreed with the outsider coming in, while others were overjoyed by new life in the Clan. Uncomfortable with the attention this brought him, Stagheart became a bit more of a recluse than usual, preferring the company of himself or Berrykit rather than groups.
He isn't a "natural" dad, but certainly became a very protective caretaker for the kit, wanting her wellbeing protected at all costs.

Personality

Overview: Berrypaw is an up-and-coming she-cat who was found as an abandoned kitten in a berry bush. She had no scent of any Clan on her, and any scent trails from other cats that may have been related to her were long gone. As Stagheart (the warrior who found her) would tell it, it was like she was "dropped from StarClan itself". She can be timid and passive, having experienced some hostility from certain cats; but overall she is very kind and thoughtful and has a huge heart. She aspires to do good in the world and for her Clan, even if not everyone accepts her.

After being promoted to medicine cat apprentice and enduring the 3v1 raid, the mountain exile, and her beloved mentor's resignation, Berrypaw was just about losing all hope. It only amplified when the leader she'd grown a bit closer to was driven out of the Clan. Just when all was lost, she was taken to the Starcave with the new leader and given her full medicine cat name. Now, despite her doubts and fears, she feels a bit more ready and able to step into this new role and bring a spark of hope and stability to a Clan that needs it the most. A shining light in the dark: Berryshine.

Personality

Overview: Briarsplash is a wary, standoffish, sorta-aggressive kiddo as a result of her traumatic past. She was born into the care of Twolegs, but when she was hardly old enough to know how to live, she was dumped with her siblings out in the woods by a lake. They scattered, and on her own, Briar barely managed to survive. When she was around 9 moons old, a rogue a bit older than she found and cornered her.

 

He manipulated her into thinking he was safe and would take care of her. After a moon or so of this, he had his way with her and ran off, leaving the barely-old-enough cat now pregnant and alone, tormented by her experience.

When she finally had her kitten, it was overgrown and stillborn as a result of malnourishment and extreme stress. She buried it alone. The young cat finally stumbled into ShadowClan territory one day, still bleeding from her experience and nearly starved to death, passing out on their turf. The compassionate side of the Clan took her in and trained her up to be a warrior.

Now, no one will ever take advantage of her again. Briar is determined to become as strong and powerful as she can so that no one will want to mess with her individually, her own Clan or otherwise; but she's still loyal to the leader and Clan that rescued her, sworn to defend them with her blood. As a result of her traumas, she is quite the closed book and has a tendency to lash out, especially if provoked. She's not afraid to get physical if something pushes her buttons too much, either.

That being said, she truly does crave intimacy and trust, but has the hardest time establishing it. She'll only have the smallest circle of friends, if more than one, and would die for them in a heartbeat.
