Im going to be teaching you all a few land battle moves!" he leaps off the rock and lifts his paw as he speaks "we'll be focusing on 3 moves, a front paw-blow, badger defense and playing dead" he puts his paw down and says in a firm tone "these moves will be done with your claws sheathed and for the moves with teeth, you will not bite down hard and you will not shake your head, berryshine does not need to heal any wounds from a train session." his then sits down "now, for those who want to learn, step up" «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁

Front Paw Blow- Bring down paw hard on opponents head. Claws sheathed
Badger Defense- Bite opponents leg. do not shake head or bite down fully/do not pull away sharply, if you are caught you wait for the other apprentice to let go. (beachheart will send you to berryshine but he will be informing sunheart or owlstar that you did not follow these rules of not shaking your head or biting down hard.)
Play Dead- Stop struggling when pinned and go limp. When your opponent relaxes his grip, push yourself up explosively.

All apprentices that can fight? Well, they supposed they could fight now, couldn't they? Seapaw walked on over, ready to listen. Sure, he wasn't enthusiastic about fighting, but her really needed to practice it. What if he did end up in a battle as a warrior? With only one battle lesson undertaken, that could be devastating. They gulped, thinking about it was scary.

Land battle moves. Interesting. So that meant water battle was a possibility. They'd be very interested in learning water battle, someday.

"alright, for those who didn't come up, you have before we walk out this camp to join us.." he meowed, his paw hurts...he feels like these apprentice need to learn how to fight because those otters were a threat...he hopes they learn well "now i'll explain how the moves work after I pair you guys up!" he steps forward before announcing the partners "Copperpaw and Foxpaw will be a pair, daisypaw with Murkypaw, WinterPaw, your with patchpaw and lastly, seapaw is with claypaw! as for sprucepaw, i'll have you join me if no one else joins us." he meowed firmly before backing up and hoping the apprentice didn't argue over who they wanted to be with...oh if only raccoonWeb was here...and he did feel a bit disappointed swanpaw didn't show up...he guess the apprentice wanted one on one training..."the first move we're working on is the front-paw-blow" he raised his paw up and swatted down on the air, a almost whipping noise from the force "that's how hard you hit your opponent in battle, but since we're training with clan-mates, I want you to knock the force back, when in battle, your claws are out, making it a strike, but this blow is meant to confuse and hurt your opponent. now as for this training part, I want you to go against your partner and try to hit them 3 times, keep in mind, your allowed to use moves you already know, when a paw is lifted that leaves you open and the other can tackle it with outstretched paws, but that leads to a open belly. there is always things you must think of but don't take too long or your just a sitting duck in battle and that can get you killed" he explain as easily as he could, eyes looking at the young apprentice "remember, this is training, it is okay to fail, how do you think I learn to swim? I almost drowned plenty of times, but I am here today. if you fail, try again until you get it right." he smiled softly as he turned to the camps exit "come on, we're taking this to a bigger area. cant have the kits wanting to join in" he murrowed with soft laughter before leading them out, hopefully they followed. «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁
