High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

A new moon, a new gathering. The first paw prints on the beach that night were those of a tremendous brown mackerel tabby. Barely healed wounds line her body from head to tail, a new set of pretty scars etched into her cheek, chest, and flank. Dawnstar strolls along the beach with her usual air of pride, head and tail raised high.

She was almost disappointed that she didn't see any of the other clans here yet. But at this point, she was aware that some cosmic force had the clans seemingly taking turns for these gatherings. She was always first, usually at this time of the moon. The leader quickly leaps up the stones, gritting her teeth as little jolts of pain come with each leap.

She sits in a light crouch, basking in the cool sensation of the rock below her huge paws, and turns to watch the rest of her clanmates arrive. The leader was looking forward to hearing from Bumblebrat and ThunderClan, they had missed the last gathering, and whatever news they brought should be at least mildly entertaining.

Grottopaw trailed behind Mother and her lower high ranks across the sand and stone until he reached a spot he deemed suitable for himself. There he sat with his chin lifted and his tail curled regally around his paws. Maybe this Gathering wouldn't be as boring as the last one he'd attended.

Ah, a Gathering!

Coldpaw filtered in with the rest of ShadowClan, though he was more focused on examining his surroundings than the rest. The other Clans weren't here, a shame. He'd have to wait to scrutinize them.

Wisppaw and Shadowpaw came in with no words spoken between the two. There was a weird feeling in the air and they didn't know how to break.

he padded just a few paces, eyes scanning the area, bramblethorn was not far, he liked her a lot...it just didn't help that the she-cat had feelings for Rookfire...just wildflames luck....to be bestest by a high rank.

Oh wow! Her first gathering! Petalpaw followed after her mentor, ears perked with excitement. She was gonna meet the other clans! "It does smell fresher," she squeaked in replying to Bramblethorn. Her eyes gazed around, taking in everything.

The apprentice nodded with a puffed out chest. " Don't worry Miss Bramblethorn! I'll never spill any secrets... Even if I knew any, "she added the last pat quickly. She didn't really pay attention to much drama or gossip around the clan so she was fine. She giggled as the taller she-cat ruffled her fur.
