Notice: Monthly Kudos Placeholder Posts

Hello all!

If you're a regular Monthly Kudos nominator, you've most likely seen a couple messages from various members of our staff team regarding "placeholder" posts. These are essentially empty posts that members make that are meant to be edited to nominate a character before the nomination period ends (similar to posts of the same nature in character/plot resources threads).

These posts will no longer be permitted on the Monthly Kudos thread, as they take up space and often are never edited into actual nominations. We understand the want to post quickly if you have an idea of who to nominate but don't have the time, but would also like to remind you that the order in which you nominate your character does not matter. Nominating earlier or having a higher spot on the poll does not increase a character's chances of winning. It's your nomination reason that really counts!

Anyone who currently has a placeholder on the Monthly Kudos (April 2025) thread must edit or delete it by Friday, April 11 at 11:59 PM ET. Any placeholder posts that remain after this deadline or any new ones that are created will be subject to removal and a fine of 1,000 Koins – Percival needs his monthly offerings, after all. If you need help with this, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Team! We will do what we can to assist you with this before the deadline hits.

This rule does not apply to Monthly Kudos threads before April 2025, so there's no need to worry about old placeholder posts. Thank you all for understanding!
