ﾟ。 Fire pads around the area before finding the perfect place to start, she begins to scent the border for her new territory she would be sharing with the small family of hers, oh this might take a while-

Maplepaw stalked silently after a mouse, her paws almost floating above the ground. Her muscles tensed as she prepared for the pounce... and she caught it. The mouse let out a surprised squeal, cut off quickly as Maplepaw bit it. She scraped earth over the fresh-kill and scented the air again.

A bird fluttered down and pecked at a few worms sticking out of the ground. Focused on its own prey, it didn’t notice Maplepaw creeping up on it. Maplepaw leaped for it. The bird let out a shrill squawk beat its snow-white wings furiously, feathers flying everywhere and almost blinding Maplepaw. Still, she unsheathed her claws and held on tighter than ever. She located the neck and bit down hard. The bird’s eyes glassed over as it fell limp on the ground. Dragging the bird by its wing and holding the mouse by its tail, she headed back to Asfrid’s den.
