Duskleaf had been taking a walk around different parts of the territory to make sure everything was as it should be, when he arrived at Lionsbeach. This was one of his favourite places in the territory, it was peaceful and quiet, just the way he liked it. Then out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something moving nearby. Was that…a kit?! How in StarClan’s name had she managed to get all the way out here without being noticed?
Duskleaf approached Copperkit, eyes wide with concern. Surely a kit hadn’t just caught that fish? It looked to be a dead fish that had washed up, in that case he really didn’t want a kit to be eating that in case it could make her ill. "Copperkit?" He called out, his voice was gentle as to not frighten the kit. "What’re ye doin’ here? Ye know ye shouldn’t be leavin’ camp on yer own, right?" He pushed the fish away from Copperkit with his paw, making sure she couldn’t eat any more of it in case it was contaminated. "Uhh yeah maybe stick to fish from the prey pile, fish you randomly find on a beach could make ye sick." He explained.
Once all her patrolmates had arrived, Heroneye got to leading them outside of camp. They were a bit on the quiet side, she noticed. Not that she was judging, of course; Heroneye was just the same. But sometimes it helped to have at least one cat in these patrols who took it upon themself to start a conversation, just to fill the silence a bit. Not Heroneye, StarClan forbid. Assuming her patrolmates wanted to hear her talk was a dangerous game, and the Lionheart hadn't had the time to hype herself up enough for it.
Well, that shouldn't be a problem, right? In that moment, it would likely be better to keep one's full attention on the task at hand anyway. Upon arriving in Lionsbeach, Heroneye turned to her patrolmates. "It may be better to split up and meet back here after a bit," she suggested in a low voice with a nonchalant flick of her tail. They'd be able to cover more ground that way, and it seemed to the Lionheart that they'd each be able to manage on their own.
Salamanderpaw spends an inordinately long pause staring at the tide, marking the way it paws at the shore in long, greedy swipes. Would it be so hard so swim in that? Couldn't be, if you're strong, right? And swimming's about the last thing she needs before she gets that name, and...
And.
And you're thinking really stupid stuff, she chastises herself, quickly scrounging for sticks and pusing to peel lengths of moss up from soaked driftwood. Eventually she's got a nice little collection and she's looking for Beaverpaw, since she hasn't seen Cherryswirl in a moment. She isn't too worried if they've wound up coming out here without a warrior. They're practically all grown up, themselves, aren't they?
Tidalshift nodded, tail flicking. "I can head east." She nodded, ears pricked.

The apprentice was anxious enough. She only had the bare minimum hunting experience from IrisDream, and now that she needed to apply the knowledge, she felt as if it was slipping from under her paws. Then…oh boy. The Lionheart recommended to split up. CrowPaw refused to be a bother, so instead she would comply with a nod of her head and turn away to start attempting to hunt. Oh no. She was gonna fail when the clan needed it most. She had to try at least…that’s why CrowPaw forced herself to scent the air, trying to detect any prey nearby. A mouse…the first scent to meet her. She crouched (perhaps a bit early, but she was trying her best and didn’t want to risk anything) and slowly crept over to where she smelled it. She felt…awkward crouched like this…but she’d get used to it. It was a pretty proper stance anyways.
ROLL : 16/20
CrowPaw then wiggled her haunches lightly and pounced, forcing herself to deliver the killing bite before standing, looking at the mouse shocked. She…actually caught something. Huh.

On the trek out of camp, the bengal had kept his tapered ears pricked and deep blue eyes focused on the world around him. He had followed along with the patrol silently with the occasional flick of his tail. Fade didn't mind the silence. In fact, he found it relatively enjoyable. However, it left him with a shelled reminder of his previous enjoyment of consistent company. Now he no longer needed the shallow cling of acquaintances he had deemed "best friends". No matter, he was alright.
As they entered the section of territory known as Lionsbeach, Fadedthaw kept himself focused. At Heroneye's suggestion, he paused for a moment in thought. Yeah, that'd be good enough. "Sure thing. It'll be easiest to find whatever prey the place has to offer that way." He agreed with a small smile and a nod. It seemed everyone else had split off other than he and Heroneye, and it was pointless just standing still so the Riverclan warrior looked to make sure Crowpaw was alright by herself (it seemed she was) and trotted away to find his own prey. Soon enough Fadedthaw spotted a small flock of birds he forgot the name of (Pipers, or something? he was geuinely clueless) and paused. He turned to Heroneye and in a careful attempt of keeping the birds unnotified friskily motioned with his tail to stir up a wind of sand to scatter thanks to the breeze in the opposing feline's general direction. The more prey, the better. May as well give this a shot.
He turned back to the flock, pausing in case he spotted the lionheart creeping up nearby.

Heroneye was about to set off on her own when she noticed a flicker of movement. Fadedthaw was signaling to her, and the reason quickly became apparent. It seemed to the Lionheart that the warriors was suggesting they team up, which made sense to her. Just one cat would probably only be able to catch one bird before scaring off the rest of the flock, but two might have more luck.
She crouched down, nodding briskly at Fadedthaw in understanding. She crept forward, awaiting the perfect opportunity to strike while giving them both a chance at success.
Finally Heroneye sprung, claws extended as she silently dove in to deliver a killing blow. Naturally, the pipers were immediately alarmed, but Fadedthaw still had a chance at catching something of his own from the flock.

(Purrks: Heightened perception: SMELL {ACTIVE})
~~~
Spiderpaw followed Minnowrain out of camp and back out into the riverclan territory. She was immediately hit by all the smells, from flowers, to cats, to prey. Spowly but surely, Spiderpaw was getting used to it.
That smell. The sharp, strange snmell that was supposedly the water. Spiderpaw could smell at as she and her dad grew closer the Lionsbeach. Her tail twitched as she looked around. She had been so excited to go hunting with her dad and checking out the water that she forgot that lionsbeach was bot the most abundant in prey. Sure, she could see birds, but...
