Sootkit stood before the looming council, the tiny kits ears pinned and bright blue eyes staring around, his starry form gleaming.

"Because my big brother is all alone down there- and I never got a chance to live. I want to be there for him, and don't I deserve a chance to live?" The small tom blinked, tail raised as they awaited the councils decision. This was his chance. If he could go back- he would be there for his big brother. If he could go back- he could fulfill the life he always dreamed of having, watching cats cone and go. He knew who he wanted to be, and he was going to get it. Whatever it took.

Even if he had to sell his soul to the devil just to get another chance to live. He would do it in a heartbeat.

she weaved her way into the clearing. a kit, much like herself. well, her body at least. her mind, however, was far more mature than the average kit. her gaze swept over the tuxedo tomkit, "kits come to us all the time asking to live again, do you have any semblance of a plan? any ideas for if you do return? how will you get to your camp?" she inquired.

The tuxedo kit's blue gaze darted to the other starry kit. One just like him.. no, this she-kit seemed much more mature. She had to be if she was the one responsible for cats going back. An intuitive gleam sparked in his eyes, a thrill of excitement. "I know my way home, if I can go back home, I can follow the sun back to windclan. Then I can find my big brother, I've been watching the medicine cats too- and I can help windclan. I want to help my big brother.. he's not doing well miss. He's working himself to hard miss.. He needs me. I can't reach him in dreams- I just want to help him miss."

Sootkit's words were more mature than expected, although, him being dead and watching for 18 noons by now tended to have that effect.

Another kit. Another kit that never got the chance to even live a life; He walked himself over to the kit, casting a momentary glance at Dewkit. The tom can tell this stillborn kit has been here for a while now. And he wanted to come back for his brother. Funny how a kit of all cats seem more reasonable and convincing than a chunk of the cats he’s ever judged, but why is he even surprised at this point “A shame you died before you got to live. You seem to have a plan laid out already. Do you have a clear idea on how to help you brother in mind? How you could be there for him? And if you’ve been watching over the living for a while, you might’ve noticed life is full of challenges and struggling. If you resurrect, would you be prepared to navigate through these stresses in life?” Really, there already wasn’t much reasons for a cat like Lichenflood to say no to a kit that’s never gotten even a second to live in life, and let alone one that’s also going back for a family member

Sootkit's gaze slowly turned towaed the warrior that slu k out of the darkness. He had a clear air if darkness that surrounded him. The small tom's eyes blazed with ferocity. "He lost his family, his best friend.. Don't you think a cat who proves themselves to the clan deserves somebody to lean on. He doesn't have anybody like that right now. That's my job." He answered the first part coolly, the truth was in fact that he would sell his soul to be alive. To be there for his brother. That was what he wanted. Then the second question hit him. Hardship. The otters in thunderclan, the 3 v 1 with riverclan. That was how a warrior lived.

"I'm prepared, and if fate itself sends me back here then so be it. But I won't know unless I try. These stresses in life and constant challenges are a struggle, yes, but that's the way of the warrior. That's what sets us apart from pampered kittypets."
