Cypresskit raced up, tail streaming behind her, icy blue eyes bright with excitement. This sounded like fun! She had seen Stormwish around a few times- The queen was super nice and Cypress liked them.
Nightkit padded up, washed out blue eyes curious, at a much more sedate pace. She wondered if Bramblekit would join... Storm was his parent, after all. @namen_roodles

Was it that time? Bramblekit roused from his nap, eyes blinking slowly as he heard a call. He yawned widely, little fangs poking out before his maw shut again with a snap. He didn't really hear exactly what was called, but so many were running out of the nursery. He, quite simple, needed to know what was going on.
The ginger kit flew out of the nursery after the others, worried that he was already late, and skidded, then tumbled, to a stop beside a familiar dark pelt. "Hey, Pikekit!" Bramblekit greeted his friend, not bothering to get up from laying sprawled on his back as he craned his neck to look at Stormwish, who seemed to be the one that had called everyone. "Hi, Mamawish! I made it!" He called out with a purr, waving his paws in the air. Everything looked so funny upside-down. He might stay like this for a little bit.

STORMWISH
Riverclan Queen ~ 32 moons ~ They/Them
"Don't be scared to be afraid" #MamaWish
Stormwish was very pleased with this outcome. So many kittens had arrived! Well, not many, but it was a start! When Cornflower padded over, the Riverclan queen purred in delight. Of course, Cornflower dear! You're very welcome to- I can show you a few tricks, if you like." Then they swept their fluffy white tail to the other side, still sitting calmly while more little ones streamed in. A small voice interrupted the queen's thoughts, and Stormwish looked down, somewhat startled. At the kit's words, their heart melted. "Aw, of course sweetheart! I can be your Mama for the day, if you want. My own kits call me MamaWish." They touched their nose to Amberkit's head, deep blue eyes glimmering. At her next words, though, Stormwish tilted their head in confusion. "I-I'm afraid I don't see your sister, Amber. Is Wishkit here?" A genuine question.
Yet another child came up, and Stormwish immediately recognised her newest adopted daughter. "Dandelionkit, sweetheart! Oh these? We're doing arts and crafts, but you'll have to wait until I tell everyone, to find out." The queen winked, and tickled Dandelion with their really fluffy tail. The black teardrop patterns on their face crinkled with their movements. Next moment, the Riverclan queen let out a surprised 'oomph' as a bundle of brown and white fur crashed into their muzzle. Shaking their head, the queen stepped back, eyes stern. Ah, Owlkit. One of Primroseadder's new children. "Owlkit, sweetie. Don't run into me, please. It's not very nice. But hello, darling. How are you?" Trying not to sound overly pessimistic, but still stern. When Stormwish heard another one of their kits arrive, the fluffy queen turned their attention that way instead. "Brambles! Good to see you made it, sweetheart." And it was. Good to see many interested little faces. Chuckling at his upside-down antics, Stormwish cleared their throat and continued the event.
"Hello sweethearts! Good to see so many- I hope you enjoy the activity!" Pause, deep blue eyes survey the small crowd. "Now, you're all probably wondering what we're doing- Today, arts and crafts! I'm going to let you all use these materials up here-" The queen swept their paw towards the neat piles containing different materials, in front of them. "And make something! Everyone's will be unique- You can make a weaving, a necklace, a picture, or anything else you can think of. If you need help, or want ideas, then come and talk to me- Cornflower here might help too, if you like. When we're finished, I'll tell you what we're doing with your wonderful creations." There. Stormwish stepped back, and let the kits come up and take the materials they wanted, smiling happily as they chattered and worked.

"Thanks, Stormwish," mewed Cornflower enthusiastically. "Of course I'll help them with ideas. If anyone gets stuck, you can come to me!" It was so nice of Stormwish to let her help. She really appreciated it. And she was sure these kits' mothers appreciated it as well!

Oriolekit walked up to the piles of goodies, yellow eyes scrutinizing what they held. He picked something from each pile, having to make a few trips in order to bring it all to his spot. Unsurprisingly, the ginger tabby's hoard ended up seeming very random, each thing he picked having seemingly no relation to each other. An idea came to his head, based off something the cat something-Wish said. "How weave?"

Amberkit stared up at Stormwish in confusion, shaking out her pelt. Yes, she's right here! The small she-kit mewed, staring pointedly into the eyes of Wishkit. We're both gonna be apprentices soon. She mewed, puffing out her chest. She glanced back at Wishkit and huffed. Don't worry, Wish's just being mean 'cause she's not gonna be as good of an apprentice as me. She explained, blue eyes shining.

Stormwish smiled at the kit that came up and asked a question. Who was he.. Ah yes. Oriolekit- One of Vervainshadow's many. Smiling, the queen sat down next to him, large fluffy tail wrapping unconsciously half around the kit's back. "You must be doing a weaving the, Oriole sweetheart? I'm not an expert, but I do know a little." Storm proceeded to tell the kit how to hold the parts together, and weave them tightly, knotting the loose ends until it took shape in a beautiful weaving. Purring, the white and black teardrop patterned queen meowed, "Well, I think you've got it now sweetheart! You continue it yourself, yeah?"
When Amberkit spoke again, Stormwish had stood up and was now watching the other kits, deep blue gaze thoughtful and happy. Looking over, the fluffy queen quickly smoothed away her expression of confusion. "I see... Well, hello Wishkit! I'm sure you, and you, Amberkit, will both do wonderfully. And good luck on becoming apprentices! I'm sure you'll be excellent warriors."
Cypresskit listened -mostly- and ran up as soon as the queen stopped talking. She took the supplies she wanted, planning what she was making. Yes. The rosetted tabby would make a pretty shell and flower head crown! For Ma, and maybe one for Pa too... Spotting her brother, the she-kit bounded over, clutching her supplies. "OWL'IT! Owl'it! Can I join ya? I'ma make somethin' for Ma. Are ya gon' make somethin' ta give ta Pa?" Sitting down, the brown and white she looked at him with clear blue eyes before starting an attempt to string her items together.
Nightkit quietly collected flowers. She would make a necklace. Yes. Lovely. The inky black kit, patterned with white marks, quickly found Bramblekit after he'd talked to his parent, Stormwish. He was with... Was that Pikeket? Must be. The she-kit often saw them together. Kinda made her wish she had more friends. No matter! Star collected her flowers and scrambled over to Bramblekit. "Bramble! What are you making?"

as soon as the kit had been given permission to start working, she moved to gather flowers of all different colours: some red, some blue, some white, some yellow. when she had retrieved a suitable amount, she ran her course tongue over the petals until the colour begun to bleed. when it did, she then moved to lick her fur, so that the colour--though temporary--may leave a slight ghost upon her pelt. "yes!" she called, once a red streak stuck to her hairs. it was faint, and would wash off easily, but it was enough to make the kitten bounce with joy. "look, mamawish, look !! i'm colourful! do you like it ? !"
