Her muzzle was smeared with crimson as she hauled the body over her back, her pace slowed. Owlstar felt not a smear of pity for Greyowl, just unbridled rage. It made her paws tremble and her ears flatten dangerously.

The scarred leader settled at the base of a tree. The terrain was rocky, nothing like the soft and winding blades of grass in Seagrass Fields, but the former Riverclanner didn't deserve the respect of a proper burial. She prayed to the stars that he'd be lost to the sand of time, the stench of his rot the only marker of his life.

She set Greyowl down, not bothering to handle his mangled body with care. She dug up his grave at the base of the tree. It was hard, digging on rocky terrain and tilted ground, but the she-cat managed. The tabby set Greyowl down in his permanent nest to drift away with whatever afterlife Starclan saw fit.

Then she left.

Names: Blackclaw, Burnfur, Twilightpaw, Darkclaw, Greykit, and Moonkit were all laying down. some of them were sleeping.




Blackclaw had his tail around his son and daughter, Burnfur and twilightpaw, to keep them warm. Darkclaw had his tail around his young son and daughter, greykit and Moonkit, to keep them warm.


Moonkit was wide awake thinking about what her mother was like. She was too young to remember her. but she knew her name was Cloudpelt. her father, Darkclaw, talked about her all the time. Moonkit wondered if she had any other siblings besides her brother greykit.

In short, anything that was left in the plate of the damned, the lost, and forgotten... Reborn was Inferno, after all, you can't bury someone alive can you? They'll always come back.

Even if they gave away everything they were to do so. Was it a sin to do so? Perhaps it was, but why would a dead man walking care about this?

The massive tom walked slowly, treading along a path that bigger animals dug behind them, humming for himself an anthem to rage, anger and revenge. The air was cool, not to hot, not to cold, just what he needed to soothe his many burns and scars after another harsh Leaf-Bare...
