A scavenger hunt? Antpaw opens his sharp eyes and glances at the cats around him. He normally wouldn't participate, but the prize was too enticing. An excursion outside camp? Antpaw was an indoor cat, and so the lockdown had been nice to him; but even he felt frustrated and annoyed after so many days of not being allowed out of camp. Away from other annoying cats. It was so bad that didn't care if he would be escorted by Wolfhive.
Antpaw searches in the clearing around where he was standing for pebbles, not bothering to wander too far.

He perked up at the hornets speech, instantly intrigued in his words. A scavenger hunt? Let’s go! He shot up from his crouched position and scrambled to where he was and where other cats seemed to be gathering up. He then said it started, and the apprentice quickly went into his own den, poking around nests and looking for pebbles.

Alpinepaw realized that Wolfhive said that the scavenger hunt was now on. She picked the closest place where the pebbles were. The apprentice padded over to that place and there was a pebble right in front of her.
Larkswoop purred, her plumed tail swaying behind her as she bounded around, looking for pebbles.
The broad-shouldered tabby pawed at the creek bed, hoping to dislodge any pebbles if they were loose.

Her ears perked up. Scavenger hunt. It was just the independent competition she needed. Swishing her tail, she strutted over with more than enough confidence.
Finding pebbles? Seemed easy enough, and with her small stature, Sorrel'kit was convinced she would be successful in this game and beat the others. After all, she was far more sophisticated in her opinion.
Glancing around, she sniffed for anything, nothing. hmm, I guess not many rocks have scents. So a different tactic maybe. Instead, she began to look for dens with rocks making up their structure. this is going to be as easy as falling asleep. She giggled to herself, however, didn't bother thinking how sleeping actually came very hard to her. Head high, the kitten began the search.
Oooooh a scavenger hunt!! This sounded fun! She bounded closer to Wolfhive, almost tripping over her paws on the way. But kits don't get an excursion outta camp? Ugh. No fun! Whatever, she didn't need an excursion, she'd get something else! Plus, winning a game was often prize enough for her. Tail waving behind her, she began to pace the camp, keeping an eye out for pebbles. Hmmm, a fern bush, maybe one would be in there? She began to paw through the bush.

At this stage, all Wolfhive did was observe. He wasn't doing the hunt himself and mostly wanted to make sure cats didn't destroy anything or otherwise cause issues... He was iffy on how Maplekit handled the fresh-kill pile, but as nothing was actually damaged he let it be.

Goldenkit didn’t know exactly what to do with the rock he had found so he just gripped it in his teeth. It was awkward and caused him to drool a little bit but it was really his only option. I found one! This is really fun! He trotted around happily. We’re to look now? He sniffed the air and then realized that was not really going to work. “Hmm…”Maybe over their. He trotted over to the medicine cat den and prodded the dead leaves and searching for another rock.
