Streampelt was still in a mode of panic as thoughts and memories rushed through his head and the other two fought the coyote. Streampelt snapped out of it and he looked at the two warriors. He winced as he saw Kestrelwing’s wound again but he fought back the memories and he stood up shakily. Getting himself together, he made sure he was ok and not shaking before leaping towards the coyote and landing on its back. He scratched at it before leaping back down and heading for its stomach. He scratched at the coyote’s stomach, flinching as he saw the wound he had caused on the coyote.

Stonefoot Grabbed a coyotes tail, feeling the bones crack. He dropped down as the coyote ran away. Three more. He saw Streampelt about to be attacked by a cyote behind him. Stone foot ran and headbutted th coyote in the head, distracting it from Streampelt. Sadly, It was now focased on him.

From where he lay on the ground, Kestrelwing quickly rolled out of the way of a coyote paw hurtling towards him, connecting with the ground in a loud thud. That had almost been his head.... Frustration surged within him and he sprang up, lashing out again to strike the coyote across the face. Stupid mutt! With each lash he felt the coyote back up until it's vicious snapping teeth turned into whimpers of panic. Turning tail, the coyote fled from the fray with Kestrelwing swiping at its hind legs as it retreated.

His heart pounded in his chest and blood roared in his ears as the tom glanced around to the rest of his Clanmates. Briefly, he caught sight of Junipersong, and anger burned in his belly. What was she doing here? She was injured and ordered to remain in camp!

There wasn't time to figure that out though, as Berryscorch caught his eye. It seemed Streampelt was locked in a state of panic so Kestrelwing launched himself to her aide, fastening his teeth into one of the brute's front legs. Hearing a yelp from above, he continued to bite away at the leg, raking his forepaws down the chest of the beast, hoping to give Berryscorch enough time to get a claw or two in.

Stormrunner sent her coyote howling away, and emerged with a torn ear and a sliced eye, but nothing worse. She saw Kestrelwing and Berryscorch struggling with a coyote and rammed herself into the beast, knocking it aside.

Tinytiger padded right after the patrol and felt a coyote jump at him. He let out a weird snarl with his mouth. It was due to half his muzzle missing. He dug his claws into its side and went deep across and sent it running. It ran a few paces before turning around on him. It lunged at him, but he managed to move away, but not in enough time. He felt claws rake his the good side of his muzzle, leaving a scratch. Tinytiger let out a growl and jumped at it nipping at its side.

As he felt Stormrunner ram into the side of the coyote, Kestrelwing slipped out from where he'd bit the front legs. He knew that two warriors on that coyote would be more than enough. He snarled and snapped at the beast with glinting fangs. Hopefully Stormrunner, Streampelt, and Splashleap - boy there were lot's of 's' names in this Clan, weren't there? - would be able to handle it.

Surveying the battle scent from where he stood Kestrelwing realized there were only a few coyotes left. One that was grappling with Tinytiger, the other one that Stonefoot was occupied with, and the last one that had three warriors over it.

There was one beast that was stalking around the edge though - the one that he had grappled with at the very beginning. Had the mutt come back for more? With a yowl, Kestrelwing launched himself across, clearing the space as he landed in front of the snarling beast which had jumped to meet him. He reared up on his hind legs again, slashing at the coyotes' face. Sharp fangs snapped towards him, causing him to duck and bounce to the side.

But this mutt was fast - and seemingly back with a vengeance. With a fierce howl the beast lowered it's head and rammed into the side of Kestrelwing, sending the gray tabby rolling back until he hit a rock with a loud thud. Spots began to cloud the gray tabby's vision as he lay there, unaware of the mutt advancing. [for Juni! Dizerel ]

Stonefoot leapt tonto the coyotes back, scratching at its face from above. He got thrown once again as the coyote ran, now blind. Stonefoot looked around it looked like they where going to win.

Hissing, Fishspeckle clamped his jaws shut on the ugly brute’s tail, it howled in pain and whirled around to face him, biting him hard on his already bleeding back leg.
“Aah!” He screeched, dropping back as the blood gushed out of the wound.
Snarling and even angrier than before, Fishspeckle drew himself up to his full height and rained the dark forest down on the coyote, scratching, biting and tearing at end exposed area of the coyote’s body.
Letting out a final howl of anger, the cruel canine turned tail and escaped back into the trees.
Spotting Kestrelwing ( spade ) nearby, Fishspeckle limped over to the patrol leader,
“Kestrelwing, Anything I can do to help now? I’ve chased my coyote off.”

Streampelt padded away as the coyote ran away. He looked around but then his head pounded. Memories were coming back to him. Gashes, wounds, death...Streampelt shook his head. No, not the time to think about it. He needed to tune out the memories for now. But that would be hard, considering that Kestrelwing had a wound too much for Streampelt to handle.

She was approaching now. Thankfully, it seemed to her that her clanmates were winning. Cut up and bruised perhaps, but no losses yet! Maybe she really didn't need to come out here at all.

Then she saw Kestrelwing.

The coyote slowly approaching her friend, it was definitely going in for the kill. There was no time to act. No time to think. She dashed at it with blinding speed, at first aimed for its shoulder to hopefully bowl it over. As she was approaching, it also seemed to be lunging for Kestrelwing. Hitting its shoulder wouldn't be fast enough.

The coyote lunged forward and time froze for her. The very next instant, there she was, standing between her friend and the beast, fangs sinking into her back and side. There was no yip or cry from her, even though parts of her fur were already stained a dark red. She didnt look like she even felt the attack. The coyote, a bit confused, tried to make a follow-up swipe at her face. Finally, time resumed for her, Mostly dodging out of the way, getting a small little cut across her cheek. Fury coursed through her veins for the first time in nearly 12 moons.

The coyote tried to grip her in its jaws and shake her around or toss her, but she held firm. "Disgusting. Going for someone while they are already down and out of the fight" She growled low, and in one swift move, rolled her way out of the canine's jaws, not caring that it tore through her flesh even more. Following that up with a swift shoulder tackle to get the creature off balance. "You do not belong here. This is My territory. My Clanmates. My Friends." Emphasizing each sentence with a swipe to its chest. She had it pinned now, her claws putting its throat and chest through a furious blender. "I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT. I SWEAR TO STARCLAN. EVERY LAST INTRUDER WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME FIRST."

At this point, the Coyote was far beyond dead. Its throat and chest cavity was now just a bloody red pile of mush with bones sticking out. Looking down at her work, her paws stained a deep red. She spit down on the corpse she just mutilated. "We are Riverclan, and we are proud."

Then, her clouded judgement lifted. She immediately turned to Kestrelwing, rushing over to help him up. Her back and right flank looked like it had gone through a blender, and she was barely phased by it. "Friend, are you alright?"

Everything had slowed around the tom. From the noise of teeth and yowling, to the sights of greenery and frost. Time moved in fractals around him, crystalizing in singular moments that stood apart from each other with dazzling differences. Vaguely, the tom was aware of the commotion around him, but like he was outside of his own body observing it.

And actually, as it turns out, he was. From further up he opened his eyes to see the scene before him; his Clanmates, bloodied and bruised, battling with every sliver of energy they could muster. They were driving the coyotes back, sure, but at what cost? Was it worth it to receive these wounds?

"Little bird."

The voice snapped his head up, and Kestrelwing's yellow gaze widened as he turned to see the last cat he expected walking towards him. Her dusty black pelt would be familiar to him in a sea of fog, the one light that could cut through the deepest doubt he had in himself and his Clanmates. Eyes, a tragically beautiful shade of yellow similar to his own stared back at him, round and full of love.

"Mother..."

Suddenly everything seemed... unimportant. The coyote battle, RiverClan, protecting his home. All the gray tabby wanted to do was curl up against the familar scent of Duskfall and forget all of the heartache he had endured. Without a word he pressed his head against the mollie's shoulder, legs and limbs crumbling like dust against her. All the emotions he had been hiding, all the pain he had been holding back for the sake of stepping up to serve his Clan, crashing down like storm waves around him.

"Don't cry, little bird. Your home needs you."

Her words sliced into his heart, splaying it open and stitching it back up again. "I don't want to go back. I want to go with you," he breathed, an ache in his voice that had never been heard by any living cat. RiverClan wasn't his home, not since his mother had left. "My home is with you. RiverCland doesn't need me."

A lick across his cheek, Kestrelwing felt a tail circle around his back. Just the slightest touch, but it was enough to lend strength to him so that he could bring himself to meet his mother's gaze. "Oh sweetheart," she purred, wisdom and kindness creating a soft lace edge to her voice. "You still have so much left to do for your Clan. Your blood may not be Clanborn, but your heart is."

And as soon as she had come, Duskfall was fading, drifitng upwards in a spiral like stars returning to the sky. "No! Wait! Come back!" Kestrelwing cried, reaching himself upwards to try and capture the essence in his paws. But his attempts were futile, and the gray tabby landed back on the grass with empty paws.

He had to go back, didn't he? Turning to look at where his body lay, limp and ragged, Kestrelwing sighed.

For you, mother...

Back in his body, Kestrelwing blinked his eyes open, realizing that most of the fighting around him was dying down. Yelps from where Streampelt, Splashleap, Stormrunner, and Stonefoot were battling still reached him, but they were winning it seemed.

Hearing Junipersong's voice he let out a gruff snort, hauling himself to his paws with just a bit of help from her. He was furious at her for disobeying Lionstorm's orders and coming with, but a bit conflicted - who knew what would've happened to him if she hadn't showed up. So for now, the tabby only nodded in her direction, a look in his eyes that said they would talk once they were back at camp.

Bringing his attention to Streampelt, he sighed. "There's just two beasts left, let's go take care of them," he growled, eyeing the two coyotes that were left. They would be no match for the remainder of the RiverClan patrol.

Seeing that her coyote had fled under the combined force of multiple warriors Splashleap breathed out a quick huff of Thanks before turning back to the rest of the patrol. It seemed like the coyotes were well and truly gone now, all of them quite the worse for wear it seemed, one dead or maybe destroyed depending on how you looked at it, and the others all leaving a lot of blood behind. Kestrelwing seemed definitely the worst off and she was tempted to move toward him, but every other cats seemed to be congregating there and she would just add confusion. Instead she stalked angrily around the clearing, hissing at the underbrush. She didn't THINK they would be back, but the one that had attacked him had returned, so you never knew. Just in case, she wanted someone to be on watch, and that someone was her.

Tinytiger snapped his jaws around the coyotes neck, not strong enough to kill it, but blood leaked from the wound. It let out a howl and ran off into the distance. It was coming back any time soon. The warrior thought it was over when a coyote grabbed him by the neck. He let out a yowl and scratched his muzzle. It dropped him right then and there then lunged at him once again. He felt claws in his side and it hurt like hell. The it managed to snap at his leg, ripping it right off. Tinytiger let out an injured yowl. He tried to get up, but he struggled. No this was not how it was going to end. "Somebody help!", he yawned.

“Tinytiger!” Fishspeckle gasped, rushing forward and scratching at the coyote’s face, making it step back in shock.
“Hang in there- I’ll try to help you,” He gently grabbed Tinytiger by the scruff and dragged him behind a bush,
“Stay here, I’ll try to find some cobwebs or something-“
He searched nearby feverishly for a hollow tree where he knew lots of cobwebs were, when he finally spotted one, he wrapped as many as he could around his uninjured front paw and limped back to Tinytiger,
“So... how do I do this?”

Junipersong was about to pick Kestrelwing up when she heard Tinytiger's cry for help. Fishspeckle already made the beast back off, but Junipersong wasn't content with just that. She charged it, tackling it and managing to bowl it over, even though despite her size, she was only about two-thirds the weight of the coyote.

Rage wasn't blinding her this time. Instead giving the creature a chance to run. "Get OUT of here." She roared at it, the sheer ferocity of her growl, combined with the injuries she had already sustained, enough to send it running with its tail between its legs.

Turning her attention back towards the group. Hopefully Fishspeckle would be able to help Tinytiger. Kestrelwing would need immediate attention from Snakeheart, though.

As she was walking back to Kestrelwing's side, the adrenaline rushing through her died down. The exhaustion and pain from how far she had pushed herself hit all at once. It shocked her for a moment, but she had more important issues to worry about than her own injuries. Picking up Kes by his scruff, He had already lost a fair bit of weight in blood. Junipersong wouldnt be able to maintain a sprint like she did before, especially now that her bad leg was paining her more than ever before, but she would manage a quick, lopsided trot, hoping to get back to the medicine cat den in time.

Feeling his scruff being pulled, Kestrelwing instantly ripped himself away, sending a warning growl towards Junipersong. He may have been injured more than he would admit, but he would not be dragged back to camp. "I'll be fine," he assured her, taking a sideways step to look over the gathered group of warriors.

"Splashleap, can you go up ahead to make sure that those beasts are gone from their den? I don't want any of them lingering around. Stormrunner, Streampelt, and Berryscorch, go with her please," he ordered, nodding to them before limping over to where Tinytiger and Fishspeckle were.

Below him was a gruesome sight, what with Tinytiger's leg being ripped clean off. "Are you okay to hang in there until we get back to camp?" he asked gruffly, watching as Fishspeckle came back with cobwebs. "Wrap it as best you can. Stonefoot, Junipersong," he turned to the molly. He still wasn't sure what he would tell Lionstorm about her involvement, but right now she was the biggest cat in the bunch - and the one most suited to carry Tinytiger. "Are you able to carry Tinytiger back to camp?"

Streampelt swallowed hard and nodded. He started following the coyote scent, staying behind the others.

Berryscorch quickly but silently nodded at Kestrelwing’s order. She had been planning on heading to help out with bringing Tinytiger back to camp, but quickly changed directions, walking instead up towards the coyote den.

The stench of coyote there was incredibly strong, to the point where it was almost impossible to make out anything else. Signaling with her tail to Streampelt that she was going off ahead, she poked her head slightly into the den, allowing her eyes to adjust to the dimmer lighting. Upon first glance, it didn’t appear that any of the coyotes had stayed behind, but it was entirely possible that one was still lurking, bundled up in one of the darker corners or crevices. They still had to be extremely cautious here.

“I don’t see any more of the brutes in here. Anyone else see anything?” she called, turning around to see where the other three warriors were. If it was true that there were no more of the beasts lingering around their old den, she planned to venture out slightly further, just to ensure the coyotes had fled the territory entirely.

Nodding quickly to Kestrelwing, relieved that he was alright, Splashleap padded quickly over to Stormrunner, Streampelt and Berryscorch. It wasn't a long walk to the den, and poking her head inside a hole in a small hill made it fairly clear that it was, in fact, the den. Prey bones, maybe even cat bones, were scattered around at random, and it reeked of coyotes, perhaps even more than the brutes themselves. No, I don't see any, but maybe we should check anyway? I don't know if these are like rabbit burrows, but those have a lot of side passages and things they might hide down. It didn't SEEM that way, but those side burrows were quite the problem when hunting.

Taking a careful step into the den Splashleap walked around all the walls, poking them to see if any dirt gave way to reveal a secret entrance. She didn't THINK coyotes were that smart, but it was worth a try anyway. Puddle~ Fierceclaw Bramblefire01

Stonefoot took most of Tinytiger's weight, seeing how injered junipersong was. He wasnt much better, I fact it seemed other than Kes and Tiny he had the most wounds, but still it was the gentalmany thing to do

Streampelt peeked into the den too, wrinkling his nose at the strong scent of coyotes. "They're not here anymore. I guess they wanted to get away from here as soon as possible." Streampelt mewed.

Her body was aching, but Junipersong had no problem carrying her clanmate. She wanted to follow behind Kes, but if he couldnt manage a jog back to the camp, She should probably race ahead with Tinytiger while she could,.

"Aahl ruh ahea-" She said, muffled from carrying Tinytiger by the scruff. Picking up the pace, able to manage a moderate trot without irritating her injuries or bad leg too much. She would stop if Kestrelwing had a reason for her to slow down, but getting Tinytiger to Snakeheart as soon as possible seemed like the best idea for the time.

Kestrelflame continued along with the other two, looking more for predators and cats than birds. However, hearing Cowtail's warning and abrupt stop the calico would slow her stride and take in the scents around them. Big birds... Kestrelflame repeated in her head, slightly irked by the use. Could Cowtail not just say what it was? Or was it so Iciclepaw would have a chance to learn? Either way, the wording seemed annoying. "Geese from the scent." The bulky warrior would point out, noting that the apprentice had nothing to add, just cower. A goose wasn't too bad, not compared to other things.
Turning her yellow eyes back to the path she moved on, keeping a careful watch for any possible goose. However, Kestrelflame found an egg instead. Lovely... Sniffing it quickly she determined it was in fact a goose egg. "They are building nests along the river, that will need reported to Buckstar." Kestrelflame informed the older warrior in a matter of fact tone. Now they needed to be extra careful about running into a goose. She's already had to deal with a whole flock before. Just not an angry mother...
With that being said, there was a goose now!
Kestrelflame's fur fluffed up as a screaming goose charged them, wings flapping violently. She would take a few steps from the nest, as it was common sense to not be to close to another animal's nest. Fight or run?" The calico asked, yellow eyes narrowed in on the charging goose.

Beekit felt strangely comforted by the site of the nearby river. She didn’t know why, but she was. However, that feeling was replaced with a sense that something bad was going to happen, so she walked back to the Thunderclan clearing to avoid that bad event from happening, even though she wasn’t certain about if anything bad was going to happen, or she was just being paranoid.

Whatever she had been expecting as she bounded towards the border was not what she got. There were cats in the river, rogues and clan cats alike, why though? It looked like one of them was sinking, trapped in a two-leg trap, and she plunged into the water. It was cold but she could swim well, being a Riverclan cat and all, and she had reached the fight quickly. While it seemed like a rogue, and another two rogues were fighting over the cage, or something, she tried tugging it away. She had to get this cat out of the water, and to do that she had to get the cage from the others. She pulled, digging her teeth into the cold metal as she paddled backwards as hard as she good. -Skyfall- leopardstrike4 ~Raven~

She was very aggravated to say the least, cats should learn to swim if they were going to mess with water. Seeing the cage all the way at the bottom, she wasn't sure how exactly to get it out, but she had to try. The tabby did his best to look around as he made his way to the Border... the Thunderclan border to be exact. "I figured we'd have a better chance...here." he tried to explain. "Since they've got a little more greenery than we do at the moment."

"So. Let's do our best to find what we were told to find! I'll look over this way." he hummed. "Maybe we can each look for a specific item? I can look for ermmm the Burnet....well this won't work actually because we can just pick up the flowers on the way." he muttered to himself.

"Just. Erm...let's give it our all." he muttered with a soft laugh. Without a second word he swiveled on his paws and began to shuffle around, attempting to look for the herbs.

Following Rowanmist out to the ThunderClan border, Havenpaw hadn't really been paying attention all that well. Him talking was more like background noise to her as she trailed behind. As they passed a rather wet patch of undergrowth from melted frost, the molly whipped her tail to her side to keep from getting it wet. Her nose wrinkled at the thought of wet fur. Gross.

"Okay, you go ahead and do that," she replied off-handedly, glancing around where they were. The scent of coyotes still hung in the air, though she wasn't all that scared. "How can you guys smell anything over the stench of those disgustings dogs, though?" Havenpaw pretended to gag at the smell. "I guess I'll try to look for some marigold..." she added, slinking off away from the group.

Yeah, no. She wouldn't be looking for any smelly plants. But a break from the group would be nice since apprentices weren't allowed to leave camp without a warrior.

Her question was not answered by the patrol leader. No, instead it was answered with the stupid little apprentices actions. Did she not think? Kestrelflame wanted to scold Iciclepaw but instead figured the screaming goose would do the job for her.
With the other warrior lunching herself into the flay of cat and goose, the calico just sighed. No choice now. With the instructions to kill the goose, the calico leapt forward and garbed the captive goose between around the neck. She could feel the angry bird pull and bite at her ears and scruff. Kestrelflame bit down harder in frustration, slowly the mother goose stopped struggling and went limp under the three cats. Leaving the calico with blood stained white muzzle and teeth. Along with a small tare in her ear from where the goose had puled on it.
Dropping the limp neck of the goose, Kestrelfame turned her yellow eyes to the other mollies. "Next time, do not blindly throw yourself at a goose." She informed them, her words mainly aimed at the apprentice. "Now we need to finish marking the border." Kestrelflame added, whiping some of the gooses blood from her muzzle. Of course I have to clean blood off again...

His face felt as though it was on fire, making decisions and ordering others around wasn't a strong suit...yet. He'd work on it, after all it was an important skill to have. He was pulled out of his flustered state by Havenpaw's statement about the dogs. Nose twitching it took him a second to actually smell the musty scent of canine. "Oh geeze. Selective smell I suppose?" he chuckled.

Floppy ears quivered as he stuck his head in a bush once more, if he could find a little bit of Burnet hidden beneath some of the foliage, than they would at least have some herbs that weren't bad...or bitten by the cold. He found only a total of 2 leaves that weren't frost bitten, the rest, sadly were frostbitten. "Hey, if you find lots maybe try stuffing them in your fur. But gently, it's a great way to hold just a teensy bit more." he hummed before letting out a little 'oh' and lifting his head, only to bump his head on one of the smaller branches.

"Don't pick..er...lots though. I'm sure some will still be needed later so only get around 5 or so ummm, twigs. I've got quite a bit here. Burnet that is." he muttered. "Do you guys have any luck?" he asked, he hadn't seen Fiercepaw around, hopefully they were on the hunt. "Havenpaw you seem to be real lucky, hopefully you could find us that Marigold." he called as loud as he could. Looking around for the younger molly.

Fiercepaw sniffed around for the herbs that they were supposed to collect. She rolled her eyes a bit at Havenpaw as she complained about the smell. Ok, maybe she wasn't complaining about it but it sure sounded like it. "Try living as a rogue then come back and complain." She meowed to Havenpaw before slinking away close by to look for herbs. She dug her muzzle into a bush and smelled something. She looked closer and saw there was some marigold. She picked three marigolds from the pil of frostbitten ones. She tried what Rowanmist had proposed and hid them in her pelt.

Shadow stalked through the undergrowth by the river, intending to hunt for some prey, when she heard a commotion down by the shore. Curious, she followed the sounds, deciding to put off her hunt until later. She conceals herself in a bush by the shore, watching the fight play out. She doesn’t know any of the cats there, and she watches, confused, and slightly amused, until shes sees a cat she knows, Summer, enter the conflict. SHe’s slightly confused, as she thought Summer was still at the TwolegsPlace, and hesitates, not knowing whether to go down there or not.

Bone stalked around the edge of the battle, eyes narrowed. Rat wanted revenge on Ashpool, so he could do that himself. His yellow gaze swept across the clearing. You can strike soon. He promised himself.

Rat towered over Ashpool, watching her bleed. It brought him joy to see the cat he hated so much finally die. But wait a moment, she was still alive! He dug his claws into her shoulders. Technically, she hadnt wanted to push him into the river, technically he betrayed her, but Bone didn´t need to know that. Nobody did.

Ashpool gathered all her strength, and stood up. Blood poured from her neck wound, and she felt wobbly. She grabbed Rat´s neck in her jaws and bit down as hard as she could.

Rat writhed in agony, hissing. He tried to escape her jaws, but couldnt. He felt the life slowly draining away, and he decided he would take her life as he died. He latched his jaws onto her throat, shaking her like prey. Blood was all over him, his and hers, of the cat he once loved, and the cat he now hated.

Bone and Fallen walked for what felt like miles. It took all night. Soon they made it to an alley. ¨Perfect.¨ He whispered, dropping Ashpool on the ground. She was unconscious now, and he knew how to milk this for all it was worth.
Once he found three trash bags piled up, he pushed one to the side. Brilliant, a den for his darling new member. He set Ashpool inside, then wove sharp Twoleg wire (barbed wire) all around, on the ceiling, on the walls, and then pushed a full bag in front. She was trapped in darkness, and would be hidden from anyone. The trash smell would mask her scent. And she couldnt escape, because of the barbed wire. Foolproof.

There hadn't been much luck, at least where she was, for herbs. Most were victims of frostbite or had wilted due to the lack of, well, picking them. "Nothing is even growing out here," she sighed, tossing her head back in frustration. Stupid herbs. Except maybe... Out of the corner of her eye, a small sprout caught her attention. Really? One just had to be sprouting up? Fine. Taking her time to walk over, she plucked it from the ground before turning to rejoin Rowanmist and Fiercepaw.

"You guys get anything yet?" she quipped, not bothering to look at them and instead examining her right forepaw to see if any dirt had collected on her otherwise pristine pelt. That would be an absolute no from her.

"You might not have been here! And a Healer would be a great addition to your group. What if you got sick and you couldn't lead? What would happen if no-one new how to help you?" She snapped at him, hissing slightly. "Feather and me are both going to have kits. Why waste the opportunity to have more cats in your group?" The molly hissed louder, before stalkig up to him. "Why kill a she-cat who is having somebody's kits?" Summer ponited her tail at Bone when she said somebody. Challenge was a fire in her amber eyes.

The tabby struggled to pull his head from a hedge as both Havenpaw and Fiercepaw came back with good news. "That's erm gre-hrk great!" he uttered. Finally his head was freed, almost with a cartoony 'pop', and fell backwards promptly landing on his behind. "Gosh you're both amazing! Snakeheart will be happy with this for sure." he chirped, smiling brightly at the pair.

He was a sight to behold, pelt littered with twigs and needles, with a leaf or two sprinkled in. He had three branches of Burnet stuffed in his pelt, and one in his mouth. Out of all the burnet leaves, only 2 were not frostbitten, even then they were newly bloomed. "Let's get these to Sn-OH! We need flowers. What was it. What was it." he pressed his paw to his cheek, and lolled his head from side to side. "Specific color? Did he ask for a specific color?" After sitting there for a few moments he giggled and pulled the Burnet branches from his pelt, pulled the ones from his mouth, and handed them to the pair. "I'll find the flowers while you two go give these to Snakeheart. I'm sure you'll be dubbed his hero!" he laughed.

Her gaze moved from Rowanmist to Fiercepaw, a rather annoyed expression on her face. Finally they traveled to the burnet that the warrior had revealed. "Sounds good to me. I'm ready to get out of here," she mewed around the marigold she held in her mouth. Leaning down, she grabbed the three leaves of the burnet, careful to not crunch them, than flicked her tail at Fiercepaw. "Lets go you overgrown apprentice," she huffed, making her way back towards the RiverClan camp.

Sniffing the air, Splashleap approached the Thunderclan border with a bit of trepidation. While the scent of the mutts wasn't strong that didn't mean they were COMPLETELY gone yet. After all, there might just be a few of them, which would still be dangerous to their group of four. Marking the border quickly before moving towards the area the coyotes had made their den, Splashleap was relieved that no coyotes had appeared yet. Hopefully they wouldn't at all.

Junipersong was not scared in the slightest. The previous patrol had killed off many coyotes, any left were likely just cubs or stragglers that the groups didn't finish off earlier. With her bulky figure to tank for her clanmates, so long as the group of cats worked together, taking down a few coyotes would be no problem at all. Junipersong was not afraid to have coyote teeth sink into her side again if it meant it didn't happen to any of her clanmates. After all, she already had recovered from the injuries.

She had no idea where the den was, though. Only having tailed the predator patrol against orders, and participating in the big fight only to immediately drag Tinytiger back for healing. If the den was clear, all that would be left is a quick sweep of the area and they can call it a day.

"Timberwolf!" Bumblestep called, agitation clear in his tone and thrashing tail. The she-cat had gone off without them, clearly caring more about herself than she did the sick and injured cats who had defended their most vulnerable days before. She was the kind of cat Bumblestep had a hard time getting along with. With a frustrated huff, he turned to Lizardfrost. He was thankful for his patrolmate, she seemed smart, focused and determined to get the herbs.

Giving her a small smile, he led the two to Smallpines. "I'm not sure where Timberwolf went. Right now, we don't have time to go out and look for her. You still get the cobwebs, I'll get the poppy seeds, and we will both keep an eye out for Marigold." A small breeze brought the scent of the forest with it, calming the slightly frazzled tom. "We meet back here at Sunset."
