Nightshadow blinked, "um." She didn't quite know how to answer, and physical contact often made her awkward. "Sure," she finished, leaving even herself wondering if she was being sarcastic. Sometimes she honestly couldn't tell. She began to lick her paw conscientiously, still feeling awkward.

Nightshadow squirmed, seeing his expression, "sorry, I'm just not very accustomed to physical contact." She pawed the ground and felt the soft moss under her. She sighed, "Do you want to talk about something?" Her nose twitched, and she rubbed her eye in lack of something better to do.

Nightshadow gasped, "Are you okay?" She looked at the paw quickly, "I don't think it's too bad, so I doubt you'll have to see Daydream if you rinse it off..." The molly turned her head to face the cat drawing, which was now had droplets of blood on it, and for some reason, the sight of it turned her stomach. "Maybe it's a sign from StarClan that something bad will happen. After all, a bloody drawing of a cat doesn't seem like a good omen," she worried, glancing at Shadowfire.

Mistkit laughed and shoved him lightly with her small paw “Oh yea? Ok wake me as soon as I drift off my first day...if you remember,” she purred in amusement. “You forget to respond? But why? You have a great warrior name! I want a great one like you!” She purred and fluffed up her pelt, making herself look bigger then her actual size. Then she looked at him seriously “With how you talk and how you take your duties seriously..your one of the best warriors shadowclan can have in my opinion.” Her eyes glittered in amusement as she watched him.

"Of course I'll remember." Ashnose mewed as he poked the kit with his paw. "It is a pretty good name, isn't it? Perhaps it's because I still can't believe I'm a warrior now. It's all I've ever wanted." The gray tom trailed off as he thought to himself. "But of course you'll have a great name! I do try my hardest to do what I can for my Clan. I'm very competitive, but I just want to serve my Clanmates and my Clan in the best way I can. I try not to care too much about being the best." "Oh," Nightshadow said, looking fearfully at the drawing. She couldn't help but think it was an omen of some sort, and the thought of StarClan sending them a message like this terrified her. "So they were murdered," she said, still staring at the picture of the cat in the dirt. "All you said was that they died and ThunderClan took you in."

The molly tilted her head at him. She somewhat understood where he was coming from, however, she had her mind set on her opinion and she wasn't going to agree that treating other cats poorly was fair,"Shadetail is a clan cat now. Maybe he understands and participates in our traditions. Maybe it is partially in his blood. You just don't know Ashnose. That's something you cant see," She reasoned in her naturally soft voice. Why couldn't every cat just get along?

Ashnose just scoffed and shook his head. He's not a Clan cat just because he sleeps in this den. He's not a Clan cat just because he might have one cell in his body that belongs to a Clan cat. I just don't get why she's fighting so hard to defend him. "It's obvious we aren't going to agree on this, so let's just agree to disagree." The tom mewed, avoiding Inkyjoy's eyes. He blinked his amber eyes slowly.

They burned to death and I was forced to watch one of our so called clanmates held me down and forced my eyes open and told me if you try and move away I'll throw you in there with them so I sat there and watched them die and I know for a fact it wasn't a natural cause it was sunny and it wasn't raining someone stated it and they killed my family and they will pay *he screamed his Amber eyes glowed red with fury*

"Thank you." He tried to get up again but he couldn't. "Just drag me I don't care I can't walk right now just do it." he said taking his brave face off for once in his life. He hadn't done it in a long time he felt like himself again and he knew Emberpool wouldn't care. So he waited for her to pick him up again and he prepared himself for all of the stares of the clan.
Emberpool saw his regular face for once, and what she saw, was pain, hurt, but also happiness and pride. She nodded, picked him up by his scruff, and led him into the camp's clearing.

daydream let out a shaky breath as the branch they were balancing on was starting to give out. they dig their claws into the bark, gripping on for dear life,"Nightpaw..Luckynight," they spoke loudly above the dogs barks,"you are more courageous than any warrior, you are bright and intelligent and happy to be alive despite seeing war face to face-" they meant it. normally kittypets would have left by now after seeing how much the clans fought. having to hunt for food, her giving up her comfortable life for the sole purpose of having loyalty towards daydream and the rest of the clan. "If goldenstar didnt accept you into the clan i wouldve shreded him myself because i see potential in you that can be achieved, you have so much here for you. Im here for you." they believed in her, she was all they had left. she had always been a constant in her life. she had saw past their grumpy exterior and loved it instead, and that was more than daydream could ever repay,"This is only a dream which you control. youve beaten this dog once, you can do it again. Im right here beside you this time."

Over the horrifying barking and ear-splitting snap of the wood, Nightpaw listened with wide eyes. Daydream believed in her. They believed in her so fiercely that they would have fought for Nightpaw's place in the clan. And it was true that in spite of the horror's Nightpaw had witnessed, she hadn't left yet. She'd thought about it, but it was just too unthinkable. She couldn't bring herself to leave the cat's to Shadowclan that she had come to care for. She couldn't bring herself to leave the freedom of the forest. And Daydream...

A thunderous crack erupted as the dog slammed its paws into the tree again, and the trunk of the tree the cats were in split like a twig. Nightpaw tumbled to the earth, landing clumsily on her feet and spinning to see the dog headed straight toward them. Feverishly looking around, she spotted Daydream close by and heard their words echoing in her ears.

"I'm right here beside you this time."

"I'm right here"

"Beside you."

Nightpaw reached deep within herself and yowled a yowl more furious than all of Tigerclan as she charged at the dog head on. Her legs and body grew with each stride, and as she leapt through the air with her fangs bared and her claws splayed, she was the size of a fully grown warrior. The dog loosed a high-pitched yelp as her claws found purchase its face and with wild eyes, she sank her teeth down onto its snout.

Goldenstar jumped up onto the highbranch, readying the ceremony he was about to do in his head. He was still kind of hurt by Halfgaze’s disappearance, and was tempted to wait to see if she would come back. However, he knew he couldn’t do that. With the tensions between the clans, it just didn’t seem right to wait to see if she would show back up, as much as he may have wanted to. Golden had already felt overwhelmed in the days that had followed her disappearance, and he knew he couldn’t wait any longer. Calling the clan together, he took a deep breath, and began to speak.

”As most of you know, Halfgaze has gone missing, and Shadowclan is in need of a deputy,” he wanted to keep this short. The last time he had appointed a deputy, it had been in riverclan, and he had been a new leader. That had been the most stressful minutes of his life, standing on riverclan’s streamstone, and saying Shadowclan’s announcements. It just hadn’t felt right. But now that was all behind him, and this wasn’t his first time. “Windygale! Could you please step forward?” he asked, looking for the slightly older tom. Trying to summon the words from when he had appointed Halfgaze. “I say these words before Starclan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice” taking a breath and looking at Windygale, “The new deputy of Shadowclan is Windygale!”

Her ears perked up at that “Really? That’s great news!” She purred happily. She was happy I know he would still talk to her. “When I’m an apprentice we could probably hunt! I’ll be the best hunter!” Her claws dug into the soft dirt as she said this.

Jayleap picked his way through the clearing, finally settling beneath a tree that seemed to blossoming with small leaves. The sun shone down in one patch through the branches and the tom sat down, curling his dappled tail nearly around his paws. He didn't oppose talking to other cats, but avoiding social interaction was what he tried to achieve. Being seen as antisocial wasn't what he was going for, but the simple anxiety of cats expecting responses seemed to take hold of his throat and choke him. Looking down with a blue gaze, he swallowed hard as he tried to push the thought out of his mind that Emberspirit wasn't around for the day - the only cat he talked to, his mother in every single way but biologically. Without her, he felt a dark tingling on the edges of his fur, and he just wanted to retreat into solitude. He could hear the conversations swirling around him, and was even to pick up bits and pieces of other cat's words - yet they meant nothing to him. Stories about patrols, worries about kits, hunting advice, training, ambitions, it all never enticed him. Nothing could ever convince him to weave himself among a group of cats and start chattering aimlessly like a starling. Huffing to himself at the mere thought, the shy dappled cat sat like a stone, trying to let the sound of his breath going in and out of his lungs distract him from the noise swirling in his ears.

Huffing to himself at the mere thought, the shy dappled cat sat like a stone, trying to let the sound of his breath going in and out of his lungs distract him from the noise swirling in his ears.

ThornFur awoke from his sleep with a long yawn, and made his way up on all fours, stretched and quietly walked past sleeping warriors around him. He made his way to the entrance to the den and found himself squinting at the bright, warm, afternoon sun that exploded through the tall pine trees around the camp. ThornFur had scanned around the camp with his intense blue eyes, and spotted a tom cat looking lost in his own thoughts. ThornFur decided to make his way to the tom beneath the blossoming tree after adjusting his eyes to the intense sun rays that struck down in patches. ThornFur continued on his walk to the dazed tom cat that seemed lonely, but not knowing his blue eyes appeared more frightening than ever.

It was a bit obvious Shadowfire was lying, but Windygale kept quiet. It was none of his business. “So... How’s life?” ‘awkward awkward awkWARD AWKWARD WOW.’ He didn’t often experience awkwardness, but when he did, he felt it. He didn’t know what to say except dumb questions.

A smoky black tabby was sitting patiently in the medicine cat den, overall looking bored. She hadn't done anything all day, except have a chat with Daydream, who had gone out to train Juniperpaw and was currently in RiverClan. Flashpaw was excited to meet Juniperpaw the most and see just how happy this she-cat was. Surgestorm sounded okay, and Shinefang was good "if you got close to them," Daydream said. Caliapaw... she didn't know much about her. Just that she was ThunderClan's medicine cat, really. What sucked was that, as far as she knew, she was really the only medicine cat apprentice. Of course, there was Caliapaw and Juniperpaw, but they were technically medicine cats. There was, however, a pricking hope in Flashpaw's chest that there was at least one new medicine cat apprentice. Shaking her head to clear the thoughts, the female decided to at least go outside and get some fresh air. Standing and coughing a little bit, she exited the medicine cat den, padding softly to the spring air. She breathed deep, her eyes slitted, before looking around at her surroundings for something to do. Her gray eyes located her mother, Nightstep. Shocked, her eyes widened. Flashpaw hadn't seen her mother for quite some time, and here she was. Nightstep had left her alone after Branchpaw's death, with the best intentions, but it turned out disastrous. She had had nobody to turn to, no one to comfort her, and she fell into a deep and serious depression. It was rooted deep, and getting into the easier and more loved enviornment of the life of a medicine cat, she hadn't been in it long, and it still had some partial effect. Now, with her mother's eyes locked on her, she wished desperately for the comfort of her sister or her mentor, almost shaking. She hated people looking so intently at her, as though they saw her thoughts. A moment of panic seized her; but she crammed it down, remembering her mentor's words of comfort after her nightmare the previous night. She casually made her way over to Nightstep, flicking her tail, and, praying her voice wouldn't shake or quiver, Flashpaw said, "Hello, Nightstep." She tried to act as humble as possible, in case she thought she was bragging about her status or something.

Nightstep caught her kits eye, her eyes glowing when Flashpaw looked at her. The senior Warrior moved closer to her child. "Hello my love. How have you been lately. It's been a while since we talked last." replied Nightstep.

As her mother moved closer, Flashpaw felt an urge to move back, but she stayed put. Her tail froze in its fake, casual flicking as she called her "my love". The medicine cat apprentice didn't know what to think of that. Happy? Scared? Angry? For once, she wasn't prepared for an aspect of a conversation, and it was mentally devastating. Her thoughts were jumbled, and she had to focus on the question she'd been asked before finally responding, "Good. And yes, it has." Flashpaw didn't say it had been too long. Truth be told, she didn't think about her parents often. Not that she didn't love them, or anything, they were just never that close. Especially not with her father. She hadn't seen him in forever.

Her ears perked up at that “Really? That’s great news!” She purred happily. She was happy I know he would still talk to her. “When I’m an apprentice we could probably hunt! I’ll be the best hunter!” Her claws dug into the soft dirt as she said this.

"We could!" Ashnose agreed, his tail waving happily back and forth behind him. "I think you'll make quite the hunter, especially with your enthusiasm for it." The warrior purred. "I wouldn't want to step on your mentor's toes, but I'd love to oversee your training. I can give you all the help you need." The gray tom purred, feeling genuinely excited about this.

In fact it would make her happy. “It would be even better if you were my mentor though. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about that. We’ll just have to see what happens!” Mist said excitedly, already enthusiastic about her apprenticeship.

Jaypaw scuffed his paws silently against the ground, trying to block out everything around him. Suddenly, the sound of pawsteps could be heard approaching, and his ears pricked erect as he jumped slightly at the sound. Glancing around, his gaze landed upon a dark-pelted cat making his way towards him. Feeling slight perturbance at the cat's sudden arrival, the tom forced his fur to lie flat. He was a generally happy and positive cat, but social interactions made him freeze up, causing his words and emotions to come out as rather flat. Swallowing hard, he forced himself to dip his head towards his fellow warrior, trying to appear sociable. "Hello," he greeted, fighting back the urge to move backwards, into the shadows, melting into the dark so that no one would see him. Glancing at the warrior, he recognized him as another tom that he had been on patrols with a couple times. "I haven't talked to you in a while Thorn... Thorn..." He trailed off, seemingly unable to remember the tom's name. With his anxious, racing mind, it wasn't really such a surprise, but he still felt slightly rude.

Sunray was admittedly disgusted by the feeling of the action, but he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in relief that the thorn was at least out. It still hurt horribly, possibly even worse since the wound was irritated by movement, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. "Agh..." he growled under his breath at the pain, watching Daydream intently with a frown on his face. He had multiple questions about the wound, but he didn't want to be annoying so he decided to wait to ask them. "I'm sorry," he eventually meowed, feeling bad for being stupid and basically leaping into a thorn bush. If he paid more attention to where he was going, this wouldn't have happened and he wouldn't have to bother the medicine cat. Oh well, what's done is done...
"We all make dumb mistakes, and sometimes it takes injuries for us not to do them again." they replied curtly. they had seen almost every injury in the book by now, an eye injury was only adding to their long list. Once the thorn was out they leaned down, starting to chew the flowers into a pulp,"I want you to tell me what you see, can you see clearly? The thorn didnt appear to be near your pupil or lodged too deep. you should only suffer some dryness for a few days or itching, but that should go away with what im chewing now."

The dog loosed a high-pitched yelp as her claws found purchase its face and with wild eyes, she sank her teeth down onto its snout.
daydream landed with a thump of their paws when the tree split in half, snapping with pieces of bark seeming to rain from the sky. they ran to get out of the way of the falling tree, stopping in their tracks to see nightpaw. she was..much,much larger. this was a dream afterall, this was her reality that she could change--her battles that she can fight and win. daydream started to pad after her at a fast pace, but not as fast. this was her battle to fight. they remember how long it took to calm her down after the dogs. they knew the nightmares she used to have, all the siffering she had to go through to attempt to get over it. hopefully, this would be some sort of closure for her. but they would be here right next to her like they promised, watching her incase she needed them in anyway, like always.

Nightshadow sat up straight, startled by his suddenly violent tone. "Oh..." she said, her eyes wide. "At least you're safe," she commented meekly, hating the startled tone of her voice. She had never heard Shadowfire so worked up, and it scared her, almost, that this had lurked in the back of the tom's mind for his whole life. Nightshadow would have gone insane by now if she was forced to keep this all in. When she was almost killed as a kit, she had sobbed for days straight, scared to go outside of the nursery, but she had gotten over it because she was able to let out her emotions. This time, she wasn't going to try to calm Shadowfire down, or else he might have to keep it in forever. It lurked in the back of her mind that it was possible that it was an accident, but either way, Shadowfire needed someone to blame that wasn't himself. "I'm sure you'll get your revenge, Shadowfire. Sometimes it's good to have that anger fueling you, or else you might become a shell of yourself," she said, knowing that it would make her sad if Shadowfire's strong spirit broke. It was her belief that StarClan would eventually punish the evil, so she believed that the murderer's time would come, either from Shadowfire or some other means. She added softly, "At least your family is in StarClan. Soon, their killer will be in the Dark Forest and they will have to come to terms with their actions." Nightshadow was suppressing the urge to say something depressing or sarcastic, as that would only make the situation worse.

ThornFur got up from his spot under a tall oak tree and made his way over to the fresh kill pile, he picked up a big squirrel and made his way over to a shady spot to shelter himself from the smoldering sun light that seemed to be attacking at his jet black pelt. He glanced off into the clearing and gazed around for any cat that may be around, not seeing anyone that was by themselves like himself, he looked down and started eating. ThornFur liked to be alone, it gave him time in peace to think and to relax without the many questions other clan cats would ask every time they saw him, but of course, company can never be a bad thing to have, even when you don't feel like talking.

ThornFur looked at and sensed his nerves and spoke, "Why are you so nervous?" His blue eyes fixed at the worried tom before him, Not giving the apprentice a chance to speak ThornFur asked, "Are you okay?" and his eyes then began to fill with worry himself, but in the mix of all that worry, a little compassion shown through. Compassion, a rare feeling for this broad, tough warrior.

With a furious shake of its head, Nightpaw felt her claws come loose and she flew through the air, landing skillfully on her paws right next to the medicine cat, who was hanging back, no doubt to let Nightpaw fight on her own. But Nightpaw was never alone. Not really. As long as she was a warrior, she would always have her clan. Protecting them, the cats she cared for, that is where she would find her strength, the strength she now realized she had all along. As the massive beast whimpered and wailed with blood dripping from its face and muzzle, a throaty snarl escaped its jowls and it fixed its gaze on the black cat, Nightpaw looked at Daydream out of the corner of her bright green eye. "Together?" she asked, confidence in her gaze. She didn't need Daydream to fight with her, but she wanted them too.

Nightshadow looked at Shadowfire sadly and nodded, knowing how it felt. The burning anger that had used to keep her awake at night had long since faded, but the memory of it still haunted her. "May you find your revenge in a satisfying and just way," she said, adding the last part on a whim. She wanted Shadowfire to get his revenge so that he could rest, but it also wasn't okay to murder. If he did that, he would be no better than the killers. She glanced nervously at the bloody drawing still sitting on the ground, seemingly mocking her every word. This wasn't who she normally was, she knew. most of the time she would have made fun of someone's losses, but murder was something that she just couldn't joke about. It was still hard for her to proactively be kind and she did have to try quite hard, but it was almost worth it. She had finally made a friend, at the expense of the awkward exchange of compliments, which was most definitely foreign to her. She cleared her throat,"Revenge is understandable, but don't let it dictate your entire life. If you do, you could lose yourself." With that warning, she slid her eyes away from the drawing in the dirt and looked at Shadowfire seriously.

Moondancer tilted her head and inspected her former apprentice carefully. She picked up some traces of sadness, perhaps even guilt?
"Is there something you want to talk about? You know you can always use me, right?" She asked, concern in her voice. She knew Daydream had so many things going on inside them, and wished they would come to her for help. If they were struggling, she'd want to help them get over that. She could see from their body that they had gone through a lot of things. And she knew that such things could cause trauma. It had for herself. Losing her firstborn kit was something she would never get over. Seeing Wolfpaw's broken and overly scarred body. That image would never get out of her head. And if Daydream had gone through anything like that, she felt like she could understand them. Help them.
Daydream sighed at her question. their was a lot going at the moment, but their instinct was to not tell her to avoid her from worrying. but moondancer had seen it all when they were growing up. she knew, she understood them to more of an extent than more people. "Awhile ago it was announced that Geckoleaf, Riverclans medicine cat went missing." they started. almost everyone in the forest knew this by now, that she had dissappeared in the gathering battle with the dusk sydicate.
"But a few moons ago i found her..in shadowclans territory." their voice was getting softer now, amber gaze flickering towards the ground at the memory. whenever they looked at their front legs they thought of what they looked like when covered in blood that wasnt their own. how geckoleafs head had rested by their paws, bleeding out in the pure snow white ground. the blood slpatters against the pretty white seemed so sickening. "She was bleeding out. she had gotten seperated from her clan during the battle of the dusk syndicate at the gathering. a loner had taken a good hit on her under belly. she bled.." they paused, shivering at the thought, as if reliving the memory,"she..she bled out in my arms." no one had known that geckoleaf had died, for all the clans knew she was still missing and alone. by daydream knew. and for that, they felt so alone.

Shaking out her glossy red fur, a specific red-furred she-cat stepped out of the nursery. Her sharp blue eyes raked the clearing before she gracefully stretched, extending her entire body to its full length. Flicking her feathery tail, Strawberrythorn padded further away from the nursery, lifting her head to try and spot any of her family members.
She wouldn’t mind talking to either Crimsonblaze or Bronzeflash at the moment, she even wanted to have a talk with her eldest daughter. One thing the she-cat wanted to do for sure, was to get away from the nursery. She was a forever queen, of course with her mate being Honeythistle. And even though she had promised him she would remain a forever queen, the ginger feline still took up warrior duties from time to time. To her, the title was all that counted. If she said She was a forever queen, she was a forever queen. And she wouldn’t let any cat question that. Otherwise they’d have to deal with her. And eventually, Honeythistle.

Letting out a yawn, the she-cat walked over to the fresh-kill pile, deciding it would be the best idea for her to eat something earlier in the day, such as now. She had plenty of things planned to do later, but the Queen’s mornings were usually free of any work or “duties” she had to do.
Picking a nice sized vole from the pile, Strawberrythorn searched for a place to sit. Normally a very sociable feline, she didn’t like to eat alone. There were very few cats out this early though, much to her disappointment. She only saw a few stragglers, and the occasional apprentice wandering about. Her blue eyes then landed on a blue-gray feline, eating a lizard by herself.
Without a second thought, Strawberrythorn walked over to her, setting the vole down carefully before she herself took a seat.
“Hey there! Looking for some company?” She asked, letting out a little purr. She could be welcoming, when she wanted of course.

Silently, the molly was eating her meal and hadn't even noticed the Queen come out of the nursery. She was deep in thought, lost in a sea of things drowning her without a word. As normal her face was masked and gave no hint to what she was feeling or thinking. The blue-gray molly's tail slightly flicked beside her but that was the only thing betraying her obviousness. Such strange behavior for her. Maybe she was just tired? No one really knows.
With the gentle thud of the vole Oceanfur was brought out of her wondering mind. Blinking her dazzling ocean blue eyes she looked at the ginger Queen. For awhile she was completely silent, not uttering a word. This wasn't out of the ordinary for this particular feline she wouldn't talk as much as normal mollies did. Not being the one to chit chat. Looking over the Queen she figured out who it was, from seeing her around the clearing. Strawberrythorn, a Forever Queen who still dose warrior duties at times. Is mate's with the all to well known tom Honeythistle. She recalled though she hadn't actually talked to her. One thing bothered her though. Why was it that she decided to come eat with her? Why not with the other Queens?
The molly's welcoming and sweet voice was quite usual to hear. It reminded her of her sisters, how sweet they were to her skittish brother. She was pretty close to her littermates in all honesty. Having grown up with them have her a while to understand and get close to them. But she didn't understand Strawberrythorn or know her yet. So, she wasn't sure what to expect. Remember, you can't let her see you kind side. She might try to get close. Oceanfur reminded herself.
Lowering her head she started to take a bite. "Not really." She answered the Queen before taking a bite. Her voice was at an even more showing a bit of calmness, witch was always forced into her voice around new cats she wasn't sure about. Unless they were outside ShadowClan then they met a very hostile tone in her voice. Guess that was normal though, showing hostility to outsiders. Oceanfur just showed a bit to much hostility.
Shacking her head slightly she looked back up at Strawberrythorn. " But I guess that doesn't matter. " The warrior meowed plainly. Over and over she told herself not to let emotions leave even a hint of a trace in her voice. For fear it'd be used against her. Honestly she did along with the fear of hurting her loved ones when she went the the Dark Forest witch she was convinced she'd be going to. Not because she'd done something bad but because she viewed herself as unimportant and not loyal enough to be in the ranks of StarClan.

Rumblestorm raised his eyebrows. Well, that was a first. Typically he could sense that other cats shyer away from such blunt honesty. He appreciated how she didn't lie to him with a deceitful answer. He offered a small half smile and blinked a couple times. "I see we are not so different as it may seem at first glance." He meowed, his voice lighter than before. It was nice to talk to somewhone who didn't out on a mask of perfect ease like so many he had come to converse with. "So," he meowed at a an attempt to break the growing silence between the two. "D-Do you have an apprentice at the moment?" Rumblestorm instantly regretted even starting on the topic. It was a rash decision on his part, and the molly could instantly send the question right back at him, and, without meaning to, reopen the wound in his heart that had only just begun to heal over. His mouth twitched down in a frown. Nevertheless, he looked up and strained for a small smile.

Hollyshadow tried to matched his half smile. Surprisingly she was successful in doing so. The black molly had to agree with his next comment. They were a bit alike, more then you'd expect. And honestly it was nice. Having someone else who was a bit like her, was a big deal or it felt like it. So, she gave him a nod, her eyes a bit brighter.
But, that all changed. At the mention of having an apprentice she flinched as if struck. The images and memories of that dreadful day flooded back to her. Like a wind whipped over a moot the struck her. It was still a fairly fresh wound only having lost her apprentice a little over a moon ago. Would she ever get over it?
Hollyshadow shook out her long pelt feeling a chilling sensation though her fur. With that she looked back at Rumblestrom attempting not to practically poor out her problems to the tom. He had his own. "No, I don't." She answered quietly. But that was all she said. A molly of very few words.

Stormclaw paced quietly in the nursery, nervous for Vixenlight and the kits. He had been nervous to find out he was going to be a father, and a twenty moons? He was a nervous wreak. Yet he had Vixenlight, and she would sort things out if it got too hectic. "Vixenlight? Are you okay?" He called out softly, hoping she wouldn't slice his ears for asking, for the thousandth time. He flicked the one with the nick in it, rightfully earned from the battle a few moons ago, and his pale yellow eyes narrowed. Anything that harmed these kits have better be ready, because he would come at them, claws extended and teeth bared.

"Fine, nothing has changed in the minute since you asked Stormclaw," the she-cat replied teasingly, her ears pricked as she stretched slightly and gazed at her mate. "Honestly, you're more worried than me!" She laughed, eyes warm. She was both proud and nervous, but she knew it'd be fine. This was a nice little moment, a tiny family. "I didn't think you'd be so anxious."

"I'm just hoping nothing happens.... so much has happened, at least it's not in leafbare, or during a flood," He gave her a smirk, recalling the night where they had been forced to swim for their lives. He would love their little family to death, he just hoped.... none of them would be taken away from him. He wouldn't be able to bear it if they were. "Does it hurt?" he asked, trying to push the unhappy thoughts away.

All goofiness was lost in this moment, and all that was left was a tom genuinely concerned about his mate. "When will they start coming? "Um..." Sunray shut his undamaged eye, and only tried to look through the harmed one. "Well, I see you, uh," he mumbled before describing the rest of what was in front of him pretty vaguely. "Yeah, I can see, it just-- it hurts to open it."
"Good, im glad you didnt lose your sight." they commented, voice muffled with the herbs they were chewing in their mouth. this next park would be gross, by they had to do it. "I want you to close your eye so i can lick this herb juice onto your eyelid. then, youll open in and blink a bit so it gets into your eye." they mewed,"gross, i know, but itll make it feel better almost instantly." once the tom did that though they started to, leaning forward and dragging their tongue across the toms eye carefully, making sure to not press to hard and get the poultice in the crevice of his eyelid.
She didn't need Daydream to fight with her, but she wanted them too.
they were surprised that nightpaw wanted to fight this together. but they looked towards her anyway, a small determinded smile on their face. this whole situation was weird as it was, nightpaw hovering over daydream in size because well, she could control this dream, and the fact that they were sharing it. but they wouldnt want it any other way, and they wouldnt want nightpaw to face anything like this alone. they were tired of being alone. "Together."

Brilliance Viper Owl

Pale sunlight filtered through the twisted branches that formed the roof of the nursery, illuminating the pristine white fur of a lounging cat. Dovecoo’s perfectly groomed coat flowed along her body like streams of cloud. The light that tickled her pelt formed an elegant pattern due to the branches that diffused it. Different patches of silky fur glowed like the moon while others appeared almost silver in the contrast of shade beside shine. The queen was stretched out on her side, her nose twitching occasionally and her diamond eyes half lidded yet searching. Dovecoo lifted her head occasionally to look at the nursery entrance, hoping to see Honeythistle walk through. She hadn’t seen the tom since that morning and with kits coming any day, she couldn’t leave to find him. Boredom gnawed at her, but she alleviated it through telling herself an imaginative little story in her mind. Dovecoo’s relaxed, narrowed eyes opened wider as an odd pain reached her. The feeling cake from her stomach, or so she thought. The sudden realization that she was supposed to have kits within the next few days hit her and Dovecoo identified the feeling. The molly lifted her head to search for Honeythistle once more, hoping he made it in time. All things considered, Dovecoo was fairly calm. Cats did it all the time, there was no reason for her to be nervous. She only wished that Honeythistle was around to meet his newest kits as soon as possible.

Sunray obliged, shutting his eye. His face contorted with disgust and discomfort with the feeling on his eyelid, but he stayed as still as possible. This is what happens when I do stupid things. Deal with it, Sunray, he thought to himself, subtly and secretly throwing himself somewhat of a pity party in his mind.

Honeythistle didn't mean to be gone for that long. After making sure Dovecoo was secured in the nursery, he went off to stretch his own bones. It was not that he didn't like to spend time with his mates - spending time with his family, was all the time in the world for them. He thought a little bit of hunting would do him some justice. So, he happily done so. Maybe hunting something fresh for Dovecoo would earn him a purr of appreciation. It didn't take long when he found an excellent piece of prey and snatched it up with a skillful motion. Once that was finished, he took his time in padding back to the nursery. A lizard was dead in his jaws. Not his favorite catch, but it would suffice - he hoped. With his head and tail high, he passed other cats without a simple glimpse their way. It was obvious that Honeythistle had rough exterior, one that was quiet and egotistical. Currently, he had more important matters to worry about. Dovecoo was close to delivering the kits. He didn't know what day they would be ready to come out, but thinking about them now emitted a deep purr of excitement for the new bundles of joy. Since Papayakit and Magnoliakit were almost apprenticed...he was happy to have more under his care. When he reached the nursery, he ducked inside to scurry next to Dovecoo, setting the lizard down and using his muzzle to push it towards her. Then, his eyes had narrowed into a confusing manner. ''Dove...?'' He tilted his head. Her face looked to be contorted into an expression of pain. And, he could only know what that could mean...

At Nettleleap's mention of a request he stiffened immediately, seeing the troubled look flit across her face, "What happened, love?"

Nettleleap let out, what could only be described as, a very anxious mew starting to fidget something she rarely did, "Well, somecat has been very intent on harassing me and, it's starting to become a problem...so could you maybe... make the stop?" Nettleleap muttered upset that couldn't deal with the problem herself sure, she and, Onestrike probably had a dependency problem but, that didn't stop her from wanting little moments of independence where she could stand up for herself.

Hollyshadow was quite honestly unsure how to respond. She could try and brush it off and change the subject or she could be luared in and talk about the troubling problem. Hearing him comment that he didn't either was a bit surprising she'd expected that he had he seamed storm enough to keep one safe. "It's not proding." She meowed. Now she had to continue. Flicking her ear she tried to think of she should. Deciding she let out a breath. " It- I.. Uh. I ju-just lost my apprentice. " The black molly forced out quietly. It honestly was a huge weight on her chest, the grief and all but it took a bit off admitting it. The molly let it a sigh. " I'm sorry, you have your own troubles. I-I shouldn't have. " Hollyshadow struggled out lowering her head.

Dovecoo purred and turned her head to look at the two, fluffy white little cats. She was tired, but happy and name ideas were already buzzing through her head. Honeythistle’s lizard was a welcome treat and she purred a thank you to him as she started eating. She must have been hungry, for the lizard tastes like the most delicious piece of prey in the world. When the queen was finished with her meal, she turned her attention back to the two squirming kittens. She had yet to find names that she liked. Perhaps she’d ask Honey his opinion. Just then, a memory reached her of two loners she had met by the border during a hunting trip. They were very kind and old and had told her that they were journeying to find a place to live in for their last moons. They had said the name, but Dovecoo had never heard it again. She remembered their own names, however, and their kind gesture of giving her a beautiful white flower before heading on their way. Come to think of it, the two kits resembled them.

Sharpfang sat down to eat her mouse when she heard another cat coming.

ThornFur saw a lonesome she-cat eating in the distance and looked back in their memories, He knows how it felt to be alone, when he was an apprentice he had no friends or anyone who wanted to even come near him, not sure why, he lived half of his life in the mix of shadows and up high in trees, looking down below at the cats who were not so lonely. But now being a warrior he felt the need to accompany any cat who was alone, just to see if he can brighten their day. He started over to the she-cat and when he reached her, he spoke in his deep voice, "Hello"

"Good, im glad you didnt lose your sight." they commented, voice muffled with the herbs they were chewing in their mouth. this next park would be gross, by they had to do it. "I want you to close your eye so i can lick this herb juice onto your eyelid. then, youll open in and blink a bit so it gets into your eye." they mewed,"gross, i know, but itll make it feel better almost instantly." once the tom did that though they started to, leaning forward and dragging their tongue across the toms eye carefully, making sure to not press to hard and get the poultice in the crevice of his eyelid.

they were surprised that nightpaw wanted to fight this together. but they looked towards her anyway, a small determinded smile on their face. this whole situation was weird as it was, nightpaw hovering over daydream in size because well, she could control this dream, and the fact that they were sharing it. but they wouldnt want it any other way, and they wouldnt want nightpaw to face anything like this alone. they were tired of being alone. "Together."

The dog lunged forward with a guttural snarl at the same instant Nightpaw shot forward with a yowl. Daydream would be at her side. There was no way she could lose. She aimed a clawed swipe at the beast's muzzle as it snapped its jaws at her, her tail swishing as she bore her fangs in a hiss. "Not this time!" she shouted over its noise.

It was obvious which of the two tiny balls of fluff was the smallest, it was the she-kit. The newborn squeaked softly as she squirmed blindly around the nest to reach her mother. Her squeaks rose in intensity as she got turned around and bumped into a tail. Shortly after the kitten's attempt to move closer to Dovecoo, her breathing leveled off as she fell asleep. The white ball of fluff was fast asleep on her mother's tail

Nightshadow nodded tersely at Shadowfire's words, pushing away her worry. She wasn't sure why she had doubted him in the first place, but perhaps it was because she had seen others consumed by fury. She often related anger to fire, it spread quickly and was hard to put out. It consumed everything in its path, but only had to be started with a small flame. Sometimes she worried that something little could set her off and start a metaphorical fire. "As long as you are aware of the consequences, it's up to you to make the right decision," the black cat said seriously, tapping her paw on the ground. She added, "But I'm sure you will. Make the right decision, that is." It was a custom of hers to automatically assume that things would turn out bad if there was even a possibility that it might happen. She liked to think that it would shield her from disappointment, and it did, considering she never expected much from others.

Dawnkit realized that she must have fallen asleep, as the smell of food woke her up. Her belly grumbled at the delicious scent.
It came from a brown shape next to her. "Is this a mouse?" She mumbled.
Dawnkit felt another scent on the mouse, and tried to rememer where it came from. The picture of a brown she-cat with green eyes popped into her mind.
Her mother? She tried to remeber as far back as she could, but she could just remember the lingering stink, a flash of orange, and a voice hissing 'Fox!'.
After that it was just snow and cold... Until the warmth of the brown she-cat.
Her mother? Dawnkit nodded for herself, and didn't think more about it.
She thought that the mouse must have been left there by her mother for Dawnkit to take. She poked it lightly with a paw. It was still warm.
Dawnkit took a small bite and relished the warm taste that reminded her of the forest. She had never tasted it before, but it was wonderful.

The food had made her sleepy again, it was hard to keep her eyes open.
A voice echoed in her head. 'This is Shadowclan.'
She liked it here.

Moondancer peered at Daydream as they explained what was on their mind lately. She tried her best to hide her sadness over these news, for Daydream's sake, and yet a look of pity went over her face. A dark look went over her face as Daydream mentioned how Geckoleaf had bled out in their arms. A memory went over her eyes and mind; How her own daughter had bled out in her arms many many moons ago. She felt like she could understand Daydream better than anyone else.
Raising herself and stepping over to her former apprentice, the Egyptian Mau gave a caring lick between Daydream's ears, if they would allow her.
"Oh sweetie.. I'm so sorry to hear that. I understand how that felt.. I believe I've told you about Wolfpaw? It took me moons to get over her death as well. But you can get through this, allright? You have to keep moving forward and not let it break you, but shape you, okay? And if there's anything, you can always talk to me. I've been there"
She spoke softly, as if speaking to her own biological kits. Her motherly instincts took over, and it was no longer the Medicine Cat standing in front of her, but her kit. She gently brushes her head at Daydream's side, giving their shoulder a caring lick, trying her best to make Daydream feel comfortable.

(Gosh I am so sorry for the overly late reply, a lot of things suddenly happened in my life ;-;)

Moondancer padded into the training grounds, tail held high. She felt confident for once. Granted, things were not looking well with her relationships with her family, but knowing that a cat in the Clan was dependent on her made her cheer up a bit. She felt like she needed that confidence of being needed. Especially in hard times like these.
Turning around, she sat down in the middle of the training grounds and waited. She had told her apprentice to meet her here, for a proper training session for once. She had been surprised to have been chosen to become a mentor once again. Despite the fact that the Clan had a new leader and deputy now, she still felt like she had let the leader down. Halestar's disappointment still rang in her ears, even though it was about ten moons ago that she had been demoted. Her own kits were starting to get their warrior names. At least the ones that were still with her.
She wanted to put all she could into training this apprentice. She would not let him down. She had not yet had an apprentice who had made it to full warrior. Her former apprentice was now the Medicine Cat, and Moondancer couldn't be prouder. Yet, she still wanted to prove that she was good enough to train a cat into a full warrior. She was determined.

It had just been one of those days for Shadetail - a crook in his neck and a dark, twisted dream had left him in a rather sour mood. That, and the fact that Ashnose was still glaring at him from across camp, most likely wishing for him to just trip into a pile of bile. Practically all of ShadowClan had either made up their mind or refused to about him, and the weight of it all tore at him like the claws of a badger. At least his training with Snowpaw was going well. He rather liked the younger feline, and she was shaping up to be a rather excellent warrior. In fact, today was her assessment, and Shadetail hoped his apprentice had taken his advice in getting a good nights sleep last night. He was going to make sure the assessment was an accumulation of everything they had learned, gearing her up to be one of the greatest warriors ShadowClan had ever seen. That'll teach Ashnose, and all those other cowards to think twice about doubting my loyalty, the gray tom thought with a snort, shaking his head as his paws came to a halt at the edge of the training grounds.

"Alright. You know what today is, don't you Snowpaw?" Shadetail asked, forcing a lighter tone into his voice as he turned his head, yellow eyes gazing down at the future warrior. Pride swelled in his chest, and any misgivings he had about his Clanmates back at camp vanished when he was with his apprentice. She was progressing so fast, and had up to this point basically mastered everything he taught her. It came in handy with his Syndicate fighting training to pass along more experienced battle moves to her as well; though he had made her promise to keep it a secret between the two. He wanted her to be the absolute best, and he figured Goldenstar wouldn't much mind him teaching her Dusk Syndicate fighting moves if it was going to help ShadowClan hold their own in any upcoming battles.

A pure white feline had awoken bleary-eyed and exhausted, despite the wonderfully long slumber she’d had the night before. The she-cat had a case of sleeping for too long, which she wasn’t used to, and her body clearly didn’t tolerate well. If you want me to wake up at a certain time, well, then, wake me up! Despite her morning misgivings, however, she had a pick of excitement at the thought of what was coming today. Shadetail had told her to get a good night sleep yesterday, which could only mean one thing. Her ceremony was today! The molly began to fantasize her warrior ceremony on her way to the training ground. What would her warrior name be? She didn’t want to guess, that would ruin the surprise. Oh, but what would her attributes be that Goldenstar mentioned? She didn’t want to ruin that surprise, either. Hmm.

As she approached the boundary of the training ground, she saw her mentor peering inside. Everyone called this previous resident of the Dusk Syndicate a horrible, sarcastic, unloyal rogue, but she never saw that on him. She saw a warrior of ShadowClan desperately trying to overcome his past and get through the disloyalty of his Clanmates. And he was so, so nice to Snowpaw. He might’ve taught her moves from the Dusk Syndicate, but it was in her own best interest. This way, she would know a few back-up moves if she was ever caught in a life or death situation. She admired the tom, more than she’d dare to admit, and she hoped she had grown on him, too. Shadetail must’ve heard her approach, because he turned his head and mouthed a few words. “Yup!” she yelped characteristically, before turning hot at the outburst. Her piercing green eyes forced themselves to not lower, but heighten. From this moment, she was to be mature. No more embarrassment about her personality. No more caring what other people thought of her. She had to learn to take on some of her mentor’s personality, by which she deciphers as building a few walls around herself. She would no longer keep her emotions under lock and key, and instead mouth off to anyone who teased her with bad intentions. Snowpaw was ready for anything.

[Oh it's fine.]

Squirrelpaw made his way to ShadowClan's training grounds. The laperm tom's pace was a bit rushed and wary as if he expected an enemy to jump out at anytime. What if I kept Moondancer waiting? Will she be mad? I mean she's never gotten mad at me before but what if I'm later then I think? He fretted as he paced though the pine trees. This little worry wort could help but feel nervous about everything it was in his nature. He and his siblings were bullied a lot as kits effecting each on differently. Russetpaw ignores the fact as if she was never pushed around or anything and Minkpaw bullied the other apprentices acting all tough but Squirrelpaw, he just got skittish and worried about everything.

His bushy white and gray tail flick nervously as the training area came into view. Moondancer was waiting on him sitting neatly as always. The bangle molly seemed to be an elegant feline and quite pretty. Though Squirrelpaw looked up and admired her more like a mother figure even if he wouldn't admit it. Being to scared something bad would happen if he did.
Shacking out his curly fur the tom padded over to his mentor tail low as always. But, his green eyes showed a bit of excitement besides his worries. Squirrelpaw loved training it could just be frightening at times for him. He was never the brave or bold type that was his littermates they always seemed to be ready to do something.
As he reached Moondancer the apprentice dipped his head in greeting. "What are we doing to day?" Squirrelpaw asked in his quite kinda nervous voice. Though if you lessened hard enough you could hear excitement echoing though it.

Moondancer gave her apprentice an encouraging look as she watched him enter the training grounds, following him closely with her eyes, studying his posture and movements. Her ears flickering lightly as she noticed the usual nervous manner of walking, with his tail low. Granted, she noticed the excitement in his eyes and voice, but before doing anything today, she would always ask;
"First of all, how are you doing today? Anything on your mind that troubles you?"
She spoke with a gentle and caring voice, aiming to be as friendly and supportive as she could. She wanted to make sure that Squirrelpaw felt safe, secure and home. She wanted to be a mentor both in warrior training, but also in helping the smaller cat grow strong mentally. And for her, she felt it was best to start off the day with some more sensitive topics, then moving on to the actual training. This would perhaps even power the apprentice's behavior once the training begun, as it would perhaps allow him to get his frustrations out.

As Bunnykit listened to Bella talking to Goldenstar, she couldn’t help but raise her chin proudly. Even if the she-cat wasn’t complimenting her nor talking to her, she felt pride and determination swelling in her. She wanted to be a skilled and beautiful warrior one day and she was sure with help from the warriors around her, she would be able to do it eventually.
The Siamese was expecting the two to be a little impressed that she had managed to ‘escape’ the nursery, but the reaction she received was not quite what she had hoped for. Being the usually disciplined cat that she was, she would’ve asked for Pinewish’s permission, or at least told her that she was going to be out in the clearing, but she couldn’t find her and she was much too eager to wait. She knew what she had done was wrong but weren’t they at least a little impressed that she had managed to get away under the watchful eye of ShadowClan’s fierce queens? She was pretty proud of her achievement. Her head drooped a little out of disappointment but she did her best to keep her smile on. She wanted to make it seem like she was fine about the whole situation. She didn’t want them to start thinking that she was suddenly becoming rebellious, expecting praise whenever she went against the rules. No, that wasn’t who she was. It would only happen once, she would do her best not to worry Pinewish again. “I couldn’t find her and I didn’t want to wait,” she objected quietly. She didn’t want to start an argument or anything like that, but she wanted to defend herself before they moved onto another topic. She shook her pelt before nodding obediently to Goldenstar. “I’ll do it later,” she agreed.
As the leader gave her the option of choosing what to see first, the disappointment that clouded her mind immediately flew away and she smiled excitedly. She forgot about everything before that, just like that. She gazed around, searching for something that really caught her attention. Her icy blue gaze landed on an area of the camp that had tufts of fur lying on the grass and looked as if though it were a shelter. “I want to see that thing!” She exclaimed, using her tail to point at the ‘thing’. It was the warrior’s den, but she didn’t know that. She was curious about the tufts of fur which were scattered randomly on the ground and she wanted to explore the sheltered area. It looked as if though it would be a good place to hide if she were playing hide and seek with the other kits.

(( oof this took ages- ))
(( also this’ll be a bit short sorry- ))

Goldenstar saw the kit’s head drop slightly, and he automatically went into a panic. Had he done something wrong? Well, that was a weird way to think, but still, just seeing Bunny look even a slight bit dejected hurt him, and he almost could understand how Tallwhisker felt whenever it came to kits. Maybe it wasn’t the same, but it felt like that to him. Tallwhisker, of course, had a bit of experience when it came to protecting kits, and Golden was still confused about the whole thing, but there was a surge of worry in him every time that Bunny didn’t seem happy, and he hadn’t even seen her that much! Snapping out of his worry, he simply nodded and looked at Bunnykit. He didn’t know exactly what to say, so he glanced over at Bella, hoping for some help, before moving onto the next subject.
Goldenstar found himself moving on as Bunny did so, looking at the thing she was pointing at. “The warrior’s den?” he asked, though he realized that she probably didn’t know what the warrior’s den was. This was a decision that was a little hard for him to make. Of course, it never hurt for a kit to see the camp, but he didnt Want to annoy any cats that might have been taking a nap. “Okay, we can go there, but you’ll have to be quiet, so we don’t wake anyone, okay?” he asked, looking at Bunny. He knew that excitement could overtake someone, but Bunnykit couldn’t let it, he just didn’t know if that would have sounded right. Looking over at Bella, he nodded slightly, and began to walk over to the warrior’s den.

daydream paced after nightpaw, claws unsheathing as she swatted towards the dog. while it was distracted with her, they made their way under the dog and started to swat at its belly, making sure to keep out of range of its paws to avoid being stepped on. it was a flashback to their warrior days when using these moods, feeling a rush of adrenaline run through their spine and out of their tail.

“Today is the day I finally finish my assessment,” Newtpaw murmured under her breath as she strode out of the den, her tail flicking back and forth behind her. As always, the small apprentice rose bright and early as ever--to make a good impression and start to her final training session with Raspberrybubble. She was practically shaking with excitement and readiness at this point, prepared to do her very best before Goldenstar would bestow her with a warrior name fit for the ambitious youth after many moons of waiting and vigorous lessons that would shape the feline for this moment. Newtpaw glanced at the other Shadowclan members as she weaved through the morning crowd and eventually found herself in front of the freshkill pile. She licked her muzzle and took a green-colored lizard out from the stash, hoping to have a light meal before her final training session would begin. Blackfrost had always told her that it was best to not work on an empty stomach. The youthful shecat gave a sigh as she laid down in the loose dirt, digging into her meal with satisfaction as she awaited her wise mentor.

Empress Of Evil

Empress Of Evil (sorry it's so short! I had to type it rather fast!)

As she padded back into camp, Servalwing's mind whirled with thought. She had started out with a solo border patrol, and right in the middle of it had run into Rowanflower, RiverClan's deputy. Tensions seemed to fluctuate daily between ShadowClan and RiverClan, so the warrior had been unaware of what to except. Of course, nothing too serious had happened, otherwise she would be reporting it to Goldenstar straight away. Instead, she headed towards the fresh-kill pile and deposited her plump crow on top of the pile. Hopefully it would add to the Clan in a good way - with newleaf in full swing, they needed all the prey they could get. The snow was thawing, only a few patches remaining, which meant more prey would be starting to come about.

Servalwing lifted her head and glanced around camp, her tail tip twitching as she observed her Clanmates. Nothing seemed too out of place, though she knew that the battle not even a moon ago still lingered in their minds. Her heart ached, and she wished desperately that she could've been in that battle. Instead, she had stayed back, a little sick, deciding to pass up the Gathering. A part of her was glad, but the majority of her wished she had been there to fight alongside her Clanmates. "I'm sure there will be another. Peace never seems to stay long," she murmured with a sigh, shaking her head. Her eyes glittered with thought as she found a sunny patch of the clearing where the sun flittered through the pine trees. A purr rumbled in her chest as she sat down, closing her eyes and allowing the weak, albeit warm, rays of sunlight to wash over her light coat.

[So sorry that this is so late!]

A red somali lay in his usual spot in the clearing. It was the spot that he usually went to when he wanted to lie down and soak in some sun. Here he was again, eyes closed whilst he rested on his side with his long tail wrapped protectively around himself. Cardinalsnake wasn’t actually asleep, he just liked to close his eyes and relax. After a few minutes of lying down, the tom propped himself up on his elbows before he straightened up into a sitting position. He turned his neck around to stare at his pelt. His long fur was matted with bits of loose grass and strangely shaped after lying down on the grass. He bent down, wincing ever so slightly at the feeling of the stretch in his neck. He groomed his pelt, picking out the pieces of grass and smoothing down his pelt. The tom liked nothing more than a clean, neat pelt. Even if most cats didn’t view him as a vain cat due to his angel-like appearance, he was rather vain. He cared a lot about his pelt and always liked to look his best. He didn’t mind getting his paws dirty but too much time with a yucky pelt would make him cringe and his paws tingle with the need to wash.

Cardinalsnake looked around. He knew that once he had gotten up and cleaned his pelt he wouldn’t be able to go back to lying down. He didn’t want to mess up his pelt once more. Plus, he was feeling too energized to be lazy. He wanted to be social, he wanted to talk to someone. His leafy green hues narrowed and he scanned the camp, looking for someone who looked like they might want to talk. His gaze landed on a she-cat who seemed to be looking around. He rose to his paws and made his way over the molly, his strides confident as if though he owned the place. “Hello,” he said politely. “I believe we haven’t met before. I’m Cardinalsnake,” he introduced. He seated himself down next to the she-cat, not even waiting for her to invite him to sit down. He was sure she would’ve asked anyway. Who wouldn’t want him around them?

ThornFur saw a lonesome she-cat eating in the distance and looked back in their memories, He knows how it felt to be alone, when he was an apprentice he had no friends or anyone who wanted to even come near him, not sure why, he lived half of his life in the mix of shadows and up high in trees, looking down below at the cats who were not so lonely. But now being a warrior he felt the need to accompany any cat who was alone, just to see if he can brighten their day. He started over to the she-cat and when he reached her, he spoke in his deep voice, "Hello"

Sharpfang heard a voice behind her and she looked around she saw Thornfur. "Hi,"She said back looking at him.

Goldenstar padded up to the highbranch. This was going to be short, despite part of him longing to just stay up at the branch. He had to help the clan, and since it was much warmer out, he found it easier to help. Of course, it was always easier when you weren’t buried in mud or snow. Calling the clan together, he began the ceremonies.

”Dovekit and Mistkit, could you two please step forward? You two have reached the age of six moons, and that means you are ready to be apprentinced. Dovekit, from this moment on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dovepaw, and your mentor will be Rumbletorm. Mistkit, from this moment on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mistpaw, and your mentor will be Ashnose”

A breeze hit the warrior as he looked at the two apprentinces, nodding and smiling, despite clinging onto the branch for dear life. The weather just couldn’t seem to decide what it was doing, and maybe that meant something. Goldenstar tried not to worry about it, but he ended up panicking for a second, before moving onto the next ceremony. It was a warrior ceremony, but his own apprentince was becoming a warrior, no more training sessions. He would miss training Nightpaw. But, well, he knew she couldn’t stay an apprentince forever. It just made him happy to see how far she had come, despite the twisting in his stomach that came from this ceremony.

”Snowpaw, Nightpaw, and Mistpaw, could you three please step forward? I, Goldenstar, leader of Shadowclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentinces, for they have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in turn. Do you three promise to uphold the warrior code? Even at the cost of your life?”

[I do]

“Then, by the power of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Snowpaw, you will be known as Snowspark, Starclan honors your character and enthusiasm. Nightpaw, you will be known as Luckynight, Starclan honors your courage and loyalty. And Mistpaw, you will be known as Mistarch, Starclan honors your determination and adventurous spirit. Shadowclan welcomes you as warriors of Shadowclan, and as you already know, you will be sitting a silent vigil tonight.“

There it was. Nightpaw was now Luckynight. It was going to get hard to call her that, but it was nice to know she had grown from an injured kittypet that he had helped during the flood, to a mature warrior. Smiling, he adjourned the meeting, and jumped down from the highbranch.

Nightshadow dipped her head, looking solemnly at Shadowfire. What had once seemed like a light-hearted conversation had twisted into a dark and deep one that left her feeling exposed. She was uncomfortable showing her true feelings and much preferred the aloof feeling she often got when talking to her inferiors. And by that, she meant basically every other cat. The only cats that she could bring herself to respect were Goldenstar and Windygale, though she was still getting used to the fairly new deputy. Everyone else only acted for themselves, which she was starting to realize was what she did. That was why she was trying to change- do things for the clan, not for herself. "I see," she said carefully, yawning. She wasn't sure what else to say in response to Shadowfire, who seemed to only be motivated by the idea of revenge. Revenge was powerful fuel, but also dangerous and unpredictable. She could only hope that Shadowfire would use it justly and not take advantage of it. Soon, skepticism entered her voice, "How will you ever find who did it? Don't take this the wrong way, but there are hundreds of cats who could have started that fire." She shrugged and looked away, wondering how he could be able to find the cat who did it. She was never able to find her own attacker, but she assumed it was a rogue or loner, which destroyed any chance of her getting revenge. She personally thought he could put it behind him, but knew she wouldn't be able to do the same if she were in his position.

once daydream pulled away they looked at their handy work. atleast he wasnt going blind, that was a very close call. there would be minor swelling, itching, or irritation but thats to be expected, nothing too major that wouldnt be healed within a few days. "Thats all i can do for now, but if theres welling or itching come in to see me." they mewed,"besides that, youre good to go. i just wouldnt be training any apprentice or go hunting for right now, only border patrols because of your lack of sight right now, just until you can open your eye fully without it hurting."
Sunray sighed, but nodded. "Alright, thank you," he meowed before standing up and carefully making his way out. The fact that he was exempt from some duties wasn't the problem-- in fact, he felt that was the only good thing that came out of this-- he was just annoyed at the discomfort from having to keep his damaged eye shut.

(Gosh I am so sorry for the overly late reply, a lot of things suddenly happened in my life ;-;)
[hey, its okay ! please take care of yourself and not stress about roleplays <33]
daydream leaned into her touch, resting their head on her shoulder. they didnt know why they felt so tired int hat moment. they had lost so much it all felt so tiring. "First it was cricketpaw, then geckoleaf, and.." they paused, looking towards the ground. they recalled the visit they had paid to meet heatherfur, how bitter they had been to see her take junipers place. "Juniperpaws missing." they mewed, voice cracking a bit. they listened to her though. they knew of wolfpaw, they knew how hard the loss was on her. she understood- at least somewhat. they felt like a small kit cuddling into the side of its mother, wanting to be protected and hidden from the cruelty of the world. they didnt know what to do, it seemed everycat that stepped into their life disappeared for some reason or died, or drifted away because of their own selfishness. they wanted to change that, though, which is why they approached moondancer in the first place. they didnt want her to drift away and something happen without doing anything. "I dont know how much more i can take, moon..i really dont know." moondancer had been one of the only cats daydream was completely open with about all of their experiences and comfortable talking about them with her. she knew about their nightmares at a young age, the struggle with that, how life had seemed tiring asoon as they were born. she knew.

Duskkit let out a quiet mew, laying against his mother. Although it looked like he might have been sleeping, his eyes were cracked open, with his tiny brain working hard to process what was around him. After a while, he turned his head a bit, so he was looking in the direction of Hawkpaw, curious who he was, but too weak and tired to walk over. As it lunged forward to snap at her paw, Nightpaw aimed a blow at its eye. The dog leapt back with a frantic cry as blood poured from its face, and it began to lope back to its two leg nest, seeming to shrink as it limped and whimpered away, leaving the two cats standing together in the dream garden. Nightpaw looked at Daydream with an expression of shock. "We...We did it!" she exclaimed. The dog had disappeared inside the nest, and Nightpaw padded closer to Daydream. The white ball of fluff was fast on her mother's tail

The larger white tom-kit heard the other kitten's squeals and mews of protest in not being able to reach Dovecoo to nurse. The tom blindly picked up his head and craned it toward the other kit. He let out a loud squeal of hunger and blindly began half-crawling and half-dragging himself towards his mothers belly. Upon finally reaching her, the tom kit victorious began vigorously nursing. He purred loudly as his belly filled and kneaded his mothers stomach as he nursed. His tiny claws, not having the ability to re-tract his claws, pulled at his mothers belly fur.

It was a glorious day for the silver tom. Seeing his newest batch of kits just left him...speechless. As always. He didn't lack to show his excitement; fur bristling, chest puffed out, and he strode over to the new mother to see the newest members of the family. He dropped the lizard by her head, ''Yeah. To replenish yourself.'' She would never the energy after what she went through. His head darted to the small kits that nestled at her belly. Both white. One she-kit, who was smaller than the male kit beside her. He leaned his head down to get a good sniff at both of them, his tail wagging slightly - like he was a canine. A smile broadened on his face as he looked from one kit to the other in a repeating pattern. ''Have you named them yet?''

She wasn’t ashamed of her kittypet roots, and she could make even the cats that hated her smile. “We’ve got a vigil tonight, though,” she groaned, trying to add a bit of humor to the conversation, before watching her friend walk away. I should talk to Shadetail, she thought with a pang.

< Mauve if you’d like ^^ >

Shadetail had been watching the ceremony from the edge of camp. The strain of not getting any sleep nowadays was starting to show, but the tom forced himself to hide it as he got to his paws. His stride was slow and methodical, his tail swaying behind him. "So, how does it feel to be a warrior now, Snowspark?" he asked as he came up behind her. This day wasn't about him, or the dark clouds that had clouded his mind. It was about his apprentice finally becoming a warrior of ShadowClan. She looked so regal and proud, and warmth circled Shadetail's rather cold heart as he grinned at her.

The gray warrior already had in mind how he would assess Snowpaw's ability to showcase her abilities. He'd taken some almost forgotten memories of Halite's assessment from his time in the Dusk Syndicate and figured he would apply them here since Snowpaw already knew of most of the Syndicate fighter moves. "Alright, so we're going to break this into two parts," Shadetail began to explain, glancing down at his apprentice. "The first will focus on the hunting moves we've learned. Since greenleaf is starting to come around and the territory is recovered mostly from the flood, there should be some signs of prey. I want you to catch at least two pieces and bring them back here, alright? One should be a sparrow or crow if you can find it, and the other a prey on land." The gray tom wanted Snowpaw to be able to hunt both creatures with wings and without, since they each required a different tactic. He knew she would do well - the promise she had showed during their recent sessions proved that to him - but he wondered how she would fare with just her.

As Nightpaw held the dogs attention and clawed at its muzzle, Daydream snuck below the beast and sharpened their claws on it exposed belly. It was yelping with each one of their blows. "It's finally over," she breathed. "Daydream... thank you," she purr rubbing her face against the enby's. "I can be a warrior for Shadowclan as long as its your clan. Thank you."
daydream stumbled as the dog stepped above them, their body flooding with relief as they heard pawsteps of it run to its nest. they closed their eyes, head lower to the ground as they let out a few huffs. feeling nightpaw rub into their shoulder they perked up. "Theres no need to thank me," as stuck up and humble as that sounded, they truly meant it. they would do anything for nightpaw, and if that meant fighting dogs in their dreams so she could get over her fear, then they would. they swipped a tongue over her forehead, a softer purr coming from them,"I would do anything for you."

it didnt take long for the edges of their vision go to black and their body wake up. they were no longer in a distorted dream, but instead their shared nest with nightpaw. peace. they looked over to see her still sleeping body, gently resting their head on her stomach until she woke up.

[QUOTE=blue jellie;502466]Oh.
Oh, my.
She had never thought to make it this far- in fact, she was barely out of her casts. And with Nightpaw- no, Luckynight- at her side? It made her dizzy just thinking about it. No longer would there be training sessions with Shadetail. No longer would she sleep in the Apprentice Den. Snowspark shuddered, not sure whether it was from happiness or disbelief. As she stood, however, her best friend appeared by her side. “No, I can’t,” she admitted with a chuckle, head butting her friend excitedly. “How dare you get a prefix change, too! I’m gonna have to remember that now, Luckynight!”
king kaleb!

Luckynight grinned a guilty grin. “I love it though! I missed being Lucky.” The Black shecat looked around at the cats in the crowd, hoping to spot Daydream calling out her new name. She spotted the medicine cat and with a glance, excused herself and made her way over. Luckynight trotted over with her chest out and her head high. With a smile she purred. “I’m a warrior. A warrior, Daydream!” She could hardly believe the words even as she said them. It was too exciting to be true!
daydream emerged from the crowd of cats, pushing their way through them. they thought of it as any other warrior ceremony but instead, they heard nightpaws- no, luckynights name being announced. while they werent one to cheer they were still there, a soft smile on their features. they purred at her calling their name,"Im really proud of you, you know." they mewed genuinely. when daydream first had met luckynight she was on her deathbed from a dog attack, nothing more than a kittypet. they had kept her a secret from goldenstar in fear he would take her away from them. but they didnt need to fear anymore, she survived every test shadowclan could put her through, a flood, battles, and surviving. now she was a full member of shadowclan, and daydream couldnt be happier. Splayed out in a not-very-elegant fashion, the ginger tomcat let out a large yawn as he awoke from his nap in the sun. Blinking as his eyes adjusted to the light now flooding into them, he cast a glance upward. After assuring himself that he hadn’t been asleep that long, the tomcat stood up, shaking out his fur to rid it of any dust that he could’ve taken with him.
Russetburr had had a very uneventful past couple of moons. He hadn’t strayed outside of his warrior duties, and he occasionally played with his nieces and nephews. He knew that his sister, Strawberrythorn, was quite snappy right now, saddened over the disappearance of Flykit. So Russetburr had avoided her as much as possible, which meant he hadn’t really played with Palekit either. He’d just talked with Crimsonblaze a lot, run into Ferretfrost a few times, and stopped Bronzeflash from doing something he’d regret later on.
The tom debated whether or not going and talking to Honeythistle. The two tomcats got along quite well, besides the fact that Russetburr knew Honeythistle was expecting him to settle down with a she-cat soon. The ginger tomcat just never had found the right one. He’d searched quite a few times, but he was picky. Very picky. Occasionally the tom thought he’d might have to look outside of the clan if he were to find someone to meet his standards.
Sitting down, the tom began to pick at his paws with his teeth, straightening the fur in between his claws that always seemed to get mangled and messy.

(( this might be short, sorry- ))

The weather had changed so quickly for him, Goldenstar almost found himself off guard by how much warmer it had gotten. Usually it was a slow transition, but then it just got really hot, with no warning at all. He was still trying to find things to take up the time he had spent with Luckynight, now that she was a warrior, he couldn’t train her anymore, so he had that time just sitting there, up for grabs.
Maybe he could search for a new apprentince, or maybe he could just find something else to fill the time for awhile. Anything could work, it just depended what happened. He didn’t think he would be looking for a new apprentince anytime soon. He could just focus on himself for awhile, well, not so much himself, more on the clan. He honestly never liked to think about himself, not anymore actually. Once he had became leader, he had just sort of thrown himself into it, forgetting everything else, which hurt to think about, but he knew it was true. Pushing that all aside, he looked around the clearing, deciding to try and find someone to socialize with somehow.

Unable to contain her excitement for another moment, the new warrior gave a small bounce in place before rushing in to nuzzle Daydream, purring as her face brushed against the enby's fur. "Thank you! Oh thank you!" After a long moment, she stepped back again, still grinning. "Snowspark says that tonight we have to guard the camp in a silent vigil. We'll have to be up all night! I'd come by to see you since you don't sleep much, but it might be a bit awkward if I have to just sit there not talking. But we can talk the next day! Maybe after I get some sleep." To Luckynight's surprise, the idea of sleeping didn't fill her with the same dread it had for moons. She could face the night now. There was nothing to fear. Daydream had showed her she could be strong. Not for the first time, Luckynight realized just how much she owed the medicine cat. And she would do anything for them. Anything. If the enby asked her to fly, she'd probably go off looking for wings.

"Off you go," he encouraged her, brushing his tail across her shoulder and offering her a supportive wink before disappearing into the bushes. He didn't want to quite interfere with her hunting portion, plus he already had a plan as to how to transition into the battle portion of the assessment. Part of battle training was being alert and focused, no matter if a cat was out in a patrol our padding along solo. He would stay close and watch Snowpaw, and as soon as she caught her second piece of prey and buried it. It was the best way to test her alertness. For now though, Shadetail made his way so that he was downwind of Snowpaw, but still clearly able to track her movements. Thankfully I can blend in to the background, he thought to himself, glad for once of his rather uninteresting gray tabby pelt.

As soon as those words left his muzzle, Snowpaw took off into the underbrush, her white paws silent and avoiding each obstacle in her path that might give away her location. She parted her jaws to scent the air around her. Which did she have to catch first? Ahh, yes. A sparrow or crow. Now focused on which piece prey to first search for, the apprentice tasted the air for specific scents. Stale crow, fresh sparrow. Ears picked, she followed the scent trail with her eyes to the supposed location of her prey. Snowpaw assumed the correct position, her hindquarters bunched, and leaped for the tree. She hit it with a quiet thud. The bird didn't take notice, and she sighed inwardly with relief. Barely daring to breathe, the she-cat slowly inserted her claws into the soft wood of the pine and began to climb. Always have three points of contact when climbing, she reminded herself, keeping three paws on the tree at all times. Eventually, she reached the sparrow's branch. StarClan has cursed me with this white pelt. For a moment, she looked down. Her head spun. She was at the same height that she'd broken three of her legs and bruised a rib that fateful night with Nightpaw. Snowpaw shivered, and nearly lost her grip again. But she tore her gaze away from the faraway floor and almost immediately regained control of her movements. Backing a bit down the tree so she'd be out of the bird's sight, she leaped for the branch. Landing with a thud, the branch cracked. The sparrow cawed with alarm and tried to take off, but the female kept to the base of the branch and snatched it midair. Just as the branch was about to break, she leaped off of it and hit the base of the tree once more. It fell with a crash, and a few animals jumped out of the way. Snapping the sparrow's neck cleanly, she scooted down the trunk and leaped off the rest of the way, burying the bird beneath some leaf-mold.

Snowspark giggled uncontrollably. "You think so?" she asked with a smile. The appren- the warrior could barely take in the fact that she had made it so far. It wasn't as though it hadn't taken a while, though. The she-cat was almost excited for her vigil that night; it would prove her a warrior more than any ceremony would. She just hoped no danger passed by in her exhausted state. If anything, she needed to rest today, if not for long then just for a little bit. "Thank you," she whispered, unable to show or speak how much she admired her former mentor. "You might've been my second mentor, but you were by far my favorite. As far as I'm concerned, you taught me everything I know, and more. I can't thank you enough for it." Deep in her soul, she expected something from Shadetail. He wasn't like other ShadowClan cats, he chose not to be. Even she couldn't change his mind from a future decision, though she wasn't quite sure what it would be about. It was one of those moments where she knew, but not quite actually knew.

She sat down and stared at the ground a long while with a dejected expression, before finally limping farther into the den. She held her right paw in the air not wanting to put any pressure on the large gash, eventually settling down on a pile of old, faded leaves. Her gaze never ventured more than 3 feet about the ground, and her eyes were clouded with sorrow. She kept leaning to the right side to keep the slash marks on her back from touching the ground. At this point, all the blood on her wounds were rather dried, only allowing a few fresh blood drops to come from them at a time.
After being attacked, she had refused to come back to camp. Instead, she had gone to gather all her remaining fresh kill while completely ignoring her wounds the entire time. Once she had returned to camp, a few cats urged her into the medicine cat den before she had reluctantly followed their instruction.
Now that she had actually entered the den, she began to regret her decision to come back at all. Why should I allow my clan to waist their herbs and freshkill on me? I won't be of much use, even after I heal. Her gloomy expression stayed faced towards the ground. Her refusal to acknowledge her own need to receive help kept her from looking for the medicine cat.

"Hey night-luckynight," they corrected themselves, that would take getting used to.

Having stayed up all through the night for her silent vigil, Luckynight had slept through the dawn patrol and woken with time to spare before the hunting parties went out for the last morning hunt before sunhigh. She'd been enjoying a moment of quiet. Sometimes, clan life moved so fast. Between the daily patrols and her warrior training she felt like the last 6 moons had been a constant state of running. And add to that the battles, and tension between the clans she'd witnessed. It had been a difficult adjustment from her soft kittypet life. Still, Luckynight wouldn't have changed it. The day Luckynight had been attacked by that dog, she truly thought her life was over. She never suspected how lucky she was. Lucky to survive, lucky to find a life where she could be wild and free, and lucky to meet the cat who would become her very best friend. And as if she summoned the enby with her thoughts, she heard Daydream calling her name and smiled. She loved her warrior name, and she loved how it sounded when Daydream said it even more. "Good morning, Daydream!" she answered cheerfully. The medicine cat seemed in good spirits today. Leaning in, she said. "Don't worry. Snowpaw hasn't gotten it right yet once... er... Snowspark." The Black shecat shook her head as she quietly chortled at herself before focusing back on Daydream. "how have you been?" she asked "We've both been busy and it's been too long since we've caught up!"

Inkjoy sighed, closing her eyes and resting her mind for a moment until, finally, she spoke,"Sure, yeah, I can do that," she opened her eyes agin and looked at the ground, feeling slightly awkward. "Sooo... are you... hungry at all? I can go get us something to eat-t..." she shivered at the thought of the fresh-kill pile, with all of the dead, lifeless animals that had desperation haunting their eyes even after death.

"Other than sleep, eat, and think of stuff, not much." He replied, blinking his one eye. He had lost his eye during a past attack from rogues; they had killed his real mother, and blinded his right eye, before his father distracted the rogues. He was able to escape, and now he was here. He couldn't even remember how he got to the ShadowClan camp; all he could remember was playing one minute, getting his eye scratched and running the next.

[[ we should do a thing when shadetail leaves the clan, but snowspark catches him and they have a big argument :O ]]

(Ah, yes! That would be excellent! I'm planning on doing a bit more character development within ShadowClan, and then it gets to a point where he's blamed for something he didn't do just because of his Syndicate past, and it causes him to leave! So that could be when he tries to sneak out in the middle of the night, and Snowspark hears him (since they'll now sleep in the same den) and follows him out to the territory??)

"I know so," Shadetail replied with a chuckle of his own. The assessment had gone perfectly, she had received her warrior name, and all the work and effort that had led up to this moment seemed monumental in the gray tom's eyes. It was a good day for ShadowClan as they received a new warrior, one they could be proud of. Snowspark had gone through quite a few trials after he took over her apprenticeship from her former mentor. She'd never spoken of them, and it was shortly after his own probationary period ended with ShadowClan that he had been assigned to oversee her training. It was a show of trust on Goldenstar's part, and the former Syndicate tom had been determined to not let his new leader down. "Alright, you better rest up a bit before you hold your vigil tonight with Luckynight. We don't need you talking in your sleep and waking us all up," he joked light heartedly, flicking her ear with his tail as he grinned at her. Readying himself to leave, his yellow eyes flash in excitement. "Perhaps tomorrow we could round up another warrior and go on your first patrol?" he offered, knowing it would be her first time out in the territory as a full warrior.

Impressive! Shadetail thought as he watched Snowspark land gracefully back onto the ground. He was nervous watching her climb into the branch, and almost raced out of his hiding spot when he saw her teeter on the branch. He wanted to shout to not look down, to remind her to keep her eyes locked and focused on the sparrow. But Snowspark did what he knew she would; regained her balance and took out the sparrow. She even made it seem easy, and the gray tom silently cursed his stubborn fear of heights. Now onto the ground prey, he thought, wondering which direction the snowy-white feline would go to next. Most of the prey around here had been scared off by her abrupt drop from the tree, so Shadetail readied his muscles to be on the move as Snowpaw did.

(Once she kills the ground prey, I'll have Shadetail rush out and surprise her for her battle assessment! ^^ Is that alright?)

[ sounds good! ]

Once landing back on the earth with a thud, it was immediately clear she was going to need to move areas. Her weight hitting the ground, however quiet, would send vibrations through it that would push the mice into their burrows, and the branch cracking and crashing to the ground would keep a lot of prey in their dens until they thought it was safe. Snowpaw crept around the nearby patch of thickets, her tail high and her paws light footed to ensure that she would not disturb any telltale branches. Upon reaching a spot that was out of earshot of her previous catch, the she-cat lowered her tail more and crouched, beginning to glance around for possible prey. A small flicker in the brambles about a foot across from her caught her eye. She parted her jaws a sliver, scenting mice- a family, actually. There was no need to kill the whole family, but she might be able to catch one or two. Paws light, she assumed her best mouse stalking position and began to slowly and quietly creeping forwards, avoiding any dry leaves or sticks. As soon as she could hear a faint squeaking, she stopped, swiveling her ears to face the sound and not moving a muscle. Straining her eyes, she caught a glimpse of brown fur, moving casually throughout the bramble bush, as though it was not being hunted. Perfect. She was practically nose to nose with the thorns now, one dangerously close to her muzzle. Eyes narrowed, she made a purposeful sound with her tail to get the mice out of the thorns, leaping forwards immediately. Her calculations were correct; by leaping forwards as soon as she flicked the ferns with her tail, the mice had leaped as well, and she had two of them beneath her paws that were easy catches. Snapping their windpipe, she buried the prey and looked around expectantly for Shadetail to begin the battle portion.

[ just what i was thinking! message me when it begins ^^ ]

The newly named warrior grew hot with embarrassment at his words, flicking her tail self-consciously. She had worked so, so hard for this to happen, trained longer than any apprentice in her group. Snowspark was so happy that it had all payed off. With a grin, she yawned. Shadetail was right. She needed to rest before she had her vigil. “Oh, stop it,” she laughed. As the feline stood, her former mentor caught her attention. “Ooh, that sounds great!” Practically skipping with excitement, the female walked bouncily back to the Apprentices’ Den- before realizing her mistake and growing hot again. You sleep in the Warriors’ Den now, Snowspark reminded herself with a mental giggle, stepping towards the den and finding an empty nest. As she drifted off to sleep, she could still hear the Clan calling her new name.

Dreadful;

Brackenfeather walked out of the warriors den, his body shaking as he moved through the clearing. He stumbled over to the fresh kill pile, jumping at a couple apprentice's footsteps. He grabbed a lizard out of the pile. Brackenfeather walked back to the warriors den, sitting down. He bowed his head, closing his eyes. 'Thank you starclan for our food,' he thought. He opened his eyes again, taking a bite out of the lizard. He swallowed the peice, glancing around the camp to make sure nothing startled him. Brackenfeather went back to eating, keeping his ears pricked just in case.

She brightened and her tail joyfully swished through the air. "A walk would be wonderful! I'm not busy at all. I'll probably be picked for an evening patrol or something so I have plenty of time.

Strawberrythorn’s ears flicked backwards at the molly’s response. She was slightly disappointed at her lack of enthusiasm. Having second thoughts, the ginger feline paused for a moment, hesitating. She started to wonder if she should continue to try and have a simple conversation with this she-cat. No one else is around. Something good might come of it!
Shrugging, she gently lay down, taking a bite of her vole and focusing her blue eyes on the molly. “Guessing you’re not much of a social cat?” She meowed after she finished chewing, flicking her tail slightly. “Or do you just need some alone time right now?” Strawberrythorn had never really been the cat to want alone time. She always liked to have at least one other cat near her, otherwise she started talking to herself and that never ended pretty. And with Honeythistle having new kits given to him by Dovecoo, Strawberrythorn had felt a little ignored recently. And she needed extra comfort, especially with the disappearance of Flykit. She still held hope though, that her kit was still alive and safe. Somewhere.
“What’s your name, by the way? Sorry I didn’t ask earlier. I’m usually good about those kids of things.” She took another bite, awaiting the silvery blue feline’s response.

Galetuft snorted and tossed the mice into the pile now licking her inner jaws because they ached from holding that many mice she looked at that tom and gave him a cold stare with a twitch of her whiskers she walked over to him with her head held high " what's wrong.kit? It looks like your scared mouseless " she meowed coldly her voice was deep but feminine and an french accent with a swish of her tail she sat down beside him her tail now wrapping around her front paws. She looked like a statue .

Brackenfeather let out a snort, ignoring the other cat. 'I'm not a kit i'm just scared like a kit, especially since I'm going to have kits with a windclan molly. What has she accomplish that so great,' thought the tom. Brackenfeather continued eating his prey, paying no attention to the molly sitting next to him.

Dawnkit lowered her head to her paws, ready to go to sleep.
So theres four other clans as big as this one! But, hearing from the others, they're not as good as this one. They would all meet during the gathering!
Wrapping her tail around herself, she tried to get comfortable.
Apprentices and warriors could go.. That was at least what Beetlemist had said. But I will be a warrior soon, too! She reminded herself.
Though, first I have to be an apprentice. Looking at the moon, she purred. And before that, I have to sleep. Dawnkit closed her eyes.

Galetuft flicked her ears now looking out into the clearing her tail twitching a few times she looked back at brackenfeather and studied him then something popped into mind which startled her but the expression didn't show wait....is...he....I need to be sure... " are you by chance....oceanfur sibling ?...ive seen you two around each other before and heard rumors...But I'm not so sure " she meowed . Oceanfur is her best friend and if she were talking to her sibling To her that would be awkward .

shadepaw chuckled and turned around, "ah yes." she smiled cockily. "im sure i can manage on my own, i know the territory almost purrrfectly. but to keep up appearances, sure show me around." she said, her fake smile almost disappearing when she thought of all the nights no one had watched her. all the nights she wandered the forest alone, the frosty air hardening her soft kit heart.

(IM BACKKKKK (again) i got into some... trouble and my stuff was taken away for a year. my mother kinda hates this site so... hush hush XD))
Silentshade flicked her tail in annoyance,” You are so cocky sometimes.” She muttered flicking her tail and walking onward muttering something clear enough for Shadepaw to hear while also clearly acting like she didn’t want her to hear it,” She’s going to get hurt with this ignorant.” She muttered annoyed.

[It's okay You don't have to apologize.]

Rumblestorm frowned to himself, his tail flicking morosely back and forth in the dirt, stirring up dust from the ground. "I know how that feels." He meowed half to himself, his words but a monotone, lulling murmur. Understanding was evident in his brooding gaze and he met her with his own. "Our troubles are not so different, yes?" A sad little smile played on his lips as he looked unblinkingly at the molly before him. Losing an apprentice was hard, even if they were all grown up and past apprentice age like Willowpetal had been. The two felines had been closer than family, and just thinking about her opened a gaping hole of grief in his stomach. He hunched over slightly, his stomach churning.

The Siamese kitten might’ve been sad but that didn’t mean she was that upset about their reactions. She was a kit, she would quickly forget and stop caring about one thing. Kits were too innocent to remember and let their minds quickly wander off to think about other things. After a few minutes, the she-cat stopped minding that they hadn’t been proud. She’d already forgotten about it. She was too busy being excited by the warrior’s den.
“Yes!” Bunnykit exclaimed, her eyes growing wider and wider as she realised that he was going to take her into the warrior’s den. She knew she had pointed at an intriguing looking den but the warrior’s den? Now that made things even more exciting. “Okay!” she chirped, nodding her head obediently. Bunnykit didn’t mind having to be quiet. Although it would make things a little hard because of her natural kit instincts, she knew she was capable of doing it. Bunnykit was obedient which meant that she could do basically do anything that she was asked to. “Let’s go!” she squeaked, charging towards the warrior’s den, her short legs a white blur as she sped excitedly towards the sheltered area.

Bella watched her mate go into his panic mode she knew very well and ran her tail over his back, he had to understand that he would not always say yes to the kit and that Bunnykit was most probably gonna use this in order to have him change his mind, though, this was something she was gonna tell him another time, in front of the kit wasn't, she listened to what he said about having to remain quiet and smiled, at least he wasn't too stern with his orders. She kind of wanted to laugh at how her mate acted, because she knew one day he would have more than one kit to take care of. As she saw Bunny all excited about visitng the warrior's den, she chuckled a little and looked over at her mate to see his reaction before the kit took off. "You know, my love, I think I'll have to teach you about kits and all that when we go to our den, before you turn her into a little princess and she starts doing whatever she wants to and you end up getting in trouble because of it." The pretty calico chuckled before giving his cheek a lick and pressing her muzzle against his in a kitty kiss before she followed the kitten towards the warrior's den, as she caught up to the kit, she licked her head and looked back at her mate, waiting for him to come.

Goldenstar was almost right behind Bunnykit, when Bella pulled him back. He listened to her, and nodded slightly, knowing that he didn’t want to spoil Bunny. This was hard to do! He didn’t know when to say no, or when to say yes, or to make adjustments. However, he knew visiting the warrior’s den wouldn’t kill Bunny, so he didn’t feel like he needed to say no. “I wouldn’t mind a lesson on that,” he purred. He wondered how Bella stayed calm through all this, and how she had it all under control. Maybe it was because she wasn’t the one that had found Bunny, shivering and almost frozen in the snow. Or maybe he was just being paranoid. Of course, it always came back to that. Mostly because he knew that he was paranoid at certain times. Getting past all that, he looked at Bunny and began to follow her, just waiting to answer any questions she might have.

“Whoa….” Bunnykit whispered as she entered the warriors' den. The warriors' den wasn’t particularly interest. Really, it looked like the typical den, although perhaps larger than the rest because of the amount of cats it needed to accomodate. However to a kit, seeing the warriors' den was truly quite an exciting experience. The fluffy white kit could spot lumps in amongst the darkness of the den. She was guessing that they were sleeping warriors. Her eyes were as wide and bright as moons as she excitedly looked around the den. “It’s amazing in here!” she whisper-shouted to Goldenstar and Bella. Her fur stood on end as an overwhelming amount of different scents hit her nostrils. For every particularly pungent scent she smelt, she could still detect the common ShadowClan scent beneath. The one that smelt of pine trees and other earthy scents. “Do all the warriors really fit into here?” she asked Goldenstar and Bella curiously, looking around the den and trying to imagine every warrior fitting in here. With her small size, every warrior seemed even larger to her and they all loomed over her. Even though the warriors den was large, she found it hard to imagine that they could all fit in here.

"I'm sorry..." he replied, before padding away, not too far, to practice a few hunting tricks his now deceased mother had shown him. Once he finished, he padded into the nursery; it was obvious he felt sad.
Wispbreeze saw Tigerkit in his sadness and self-pity, so she wrapped him close to her side with her tail. "It's ok Tigerkit. What's wrong?" No, she did not fully welcome him into her life yet, but she hated to see a kit sad.

Tigerkit sat up, feeling a little better. "I think I should practice more, maybe that will help me get over my past." He sniffed the air. "Can you smell a mouse? Bella smiled at the kitten's reaction to the den, she had rarely been in it considering she shared a nest with Goldenstar, she gazed at the middle of the den, towards where most of the senior warriors were before leaning down to whisper in Bunnykit's ear. "The warriors in the back deserve more respect, considering they've been warriors much longer than normal warriors and have decided not to become elders yet, which is why they sleep where it's warmer..." She gazed back at her mate with a smirk before continuing. "Well, I'll be honest, it can't be better than sleeping with your father." She purred and thought a little at the question the kit asked. "Well, as of now I believe we all fit, but maybe one day, when we'll be much more warriors in ShadowClan, we'll have trouble fitting in there, but there's always cats moving dens, for example, an apprentice becoming a warrior will change den, from the apprentice's to this one, and warriors who want to become elder will move to the elder's den." She mewed and then started thinking again. "Oh, there's also the medecine cat's den, where there are cats sometimes, which leaves space in their den, also the nursery, where there are the queens and the kits, and then, finally, there's the leader's den, which is where your father and I sleep." She whispered, giving the young she-cat a lick and a warm smile.

[hey it’s no problem!! Mine will be a bit short too.]

As Russetburr was finishing grooming his paws, his green eyes caught sight of Goldenstar sitting in the clearing. The ginger tomcat cocked his head slightly, wondering what the leader was doing in the clearing. He seldom saw Goldenstar around, so this was surprising for the tomcat. Maybe he’s not busy...? Russetburr didn’t know whether or not he wanted to approach the other cat. He’s just a cat. Just like you. Getting up, Russetburr approached his leader, hoping that he hadn’t been waiting for someone. “Hey Goldenstar? How’s it going?” He meowed, sitting in front of the tomcat, hoping he would be able to start at least a decent conversation.

Goldenstar was taken slightly off guard by Russetburr approaching him, but he smiled nonetheless. It was nice to have someone talk to him. “It’s going well,” He half-lied, though his voice didn’t change at all. He was used to saying he was fine when he actually wasn’t. It had almost become habit. “How about you?” He asked in a calm tone, smiling slightly. As Golden looked at the tom across from him, he became aware that this was the first conversation he had had in awhile that he didn’t have to start. Were others scared of him? That didn’t seem right, but it kind of seemed possible. He had always kind of been awkward around Halestar and Daydream, which he regretted, and wished he could go back on. However, he found that he couldn’t do that, just hoping that this conversation went okay.
