"WE WANTED TO GO FISHING BUT NOW SHE'S IN THE RIVER! FOLLOW ME!" Heronkit raced back out of camp and found Dawnkit.
"THEY'RE COMING!!" She yowled, hoping Dawnkit could hear her over the water.

Dawnkit continues to go down river, much to weak to continue fighting against it, the only effort being the pitiful mews and yowls for help. The energy required to keep her head above water is already slipping as she struggles @ Creeklight @ Rainquail

Heronkit knew she couldn't swim. She just couldn't. But at the second she could probably swim better than Dawnkit. She launched herself into the river and hoped she didn't drown either.
She peddled her paws against the water, trying to help her friend.
"Dawnkit! Dawnkit I'm coming!" Heronkit yowled.

Dawnkit just goes limp, no energy left in her tiny body as the river current begins to get weaker downstream, her head is barely above the water
