It was another bad night and sleeping alone in the warriors' den wasn't helping that. He took a deep breath before rising to his paws. It was still dark, but was getting lighter quickly.
He sighed softly as he exited the den, carefully tip-toeing over his denmates on the way to the entrance. Once no longer at risk of stepping on another warrior he glanced around the camp, not many cats were up and about this early, other than Raccoonweb himself. Stars why would his dreams not let him sleep?
Raccoon padded toward the fresh-kill pile, taking a fish before settling in near the warriors' den to eat. Once he was finished he disposed of the remains, as he was returning to his spot he glanced toward the sky, it was much brighter now than it had been before, which was nice, finally Riverclan would become it's normal busy self and Racc could once more distract himself with duties.
With a nod seemingly to the sky he hummed, scanning the clearing carefully for a cat he knew, perhaps Crowpaw, or Beachheart, or even Speckledpaw. Stars he hadn't actually talked to Speckledpaw since their last training session. Had he made it weird? He certainly hoped not- He's fallen in love with his best friend and was terrified both to mess up and to lose Speckledpaw. What... what if he shared the same fate as his family? Missing or dead.... He shook his head, not wanting to think of that.

Swanpaw padded out of the apprentices den, yawning. "Beachheart?" she called into the warriors den, careful not to go in (she had made that mistake as a kit).

▁▂▃▅▆▇ »•» he was curled up in his nest, tired from the other day, playing with kits was a lot of work. he opened his eyes a bit, his ears flickering at the sound of his apprentices voice, why so late, he sat up and stretched a bit before walking out the den carefully "swanpaw? what's the matter?" he meowed groggily, his eyes were half closed as he sniffed the air,he smelled raccoonweb as well. "raccoonweb?" he meowed a bit more awake, he was slightly confused to why cats were awake. «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁

"It's morning, Beachheart." Swanpaw replied gently. She didn't think her mentor was much of a morning person...
"I was hoping we could go training? I want to learn how to fish. I can swim and hunt well already and I like how fish taste. If you have other plans thats ok too." she added.

Raccoonweb's ears perked up as he turned to face Beachheart "mm? Oh! Hey Beachheart!" He said, flashing a tired smile at his closest friend. The silver pointed tom rose to his paws and stretched before approaching, his whiskers twitched as he looked down at the apprentice who was standing before Beachheart.
His light green gaze narrowed as he looked down at her "Hello" He said quietly, his demeanor visibly changing as he looked from Swanpaw, back to Beachheart.

"of course, we can go out training, that is my job after all" he meowed with a gentle tone, his ears flickered when he heard raccoonweb and looked at the Tom "oh good morning raccoonweb" he purred as he padded up to the other and gave him a lick to his forehead. "how are you? I was just about to take swanpaw out for training, would you like to join us?" he mewed «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁
