Ooo two apprentices!! That's a lotta responsibility!! Good thing Lichenshock is so cool and totally the right cat for the job! And maybe two apprentices going out together would be more fun for Flickeringpaw! Blinking through the crowd with a grin, Lichenshock wanders over towards her new charge.

"Hiya, Burningaw!" She chirps, chipper as always, "we're gonna have fun together don't you worry!"

Fleetsmoke looked over at Leopardsong. ''Reason or not, they still shouldn't be here,'' the warrior responded, glancing at the scar on her shoulder. ''The buzzards were enough of a pain. Besides, the Clan has enough going on.''

The WindClanner tipped her head, whiskers twitching with amusement as she watched Jasminepaw and Hawkpaw at her side. ''Glad to see you're making some friends, Jas,'' Fleetsmoke purred, touching her nose to Jasminepaw's ear tip.

Flickeringpaw bounced around on her paws beside Lichenshock, beaming as she spotted Burningpaw. ''Hi! I'm Flickeringpaw! It's nice to meet you! I'm glad to be training with you!''

Branchfur had been cheering on the new apprentices until she heard her own name being called. Unexpected, but... Wait she has an apprentice? Branchfur has an apprentice! Looking around she noticed Honeypaw and went to greet her. ''Hello! You're Honeypaw right?'' After giving a smile Branchfur continued. ''You had a different mentor before then? What have you already learned?'' Better to get the formalities out of the way.

The golden-and-white she-cat looked up at Branchfur through blue-green eyes. ''Y-Yes, my name's H-Honeypaw,'' She stammered, tufted ears lowering a bit. ''I-I've had a bit of battle tr-training, b-but that's about i-it...''

Alright Branchfur, try not to be too enthusiastic, clearly your apprentice isn't a fast talker. ''Alright then. Battle trainings good.'' Branchfur thought about what to say next before continuing, this time a bit calmer. ''Anything you want to do first? After the meeting of course.''

The tom blinked in surprise. Him, a mentor? This soon? Oh, he was going to do his very best with this one! Spotting the apprentice in the crowd, he would trot up to her with a loud purr and touching noses - as was tradition. "Hello! You must be Sparkpaw! I'm Birchfawn! I'm excited to train you!" He practically radiated excitement and friendliness and he hoped Sparkpaw would be the same. It would be fun to train her for sure!

Dizzy chanted the new apprentice’s names, and waited for the new warriors. Maybe it would be his turn soon, if he ever got through his training.

Mosspaw leaned in to Cottonpaw, on the verge of tears. “I don’t know who did it, but it definitely wasn’t a normal cat. When I found her body, she was missing three legs and her tail.” Mosspaw wished he knew more but the body had been there a while without a trace of her killer.

Heathernose chuckled lightly at her son's remark, giving him an affectionate lick on his forehead between the ears. The wiry pale brown she-cat turned her gaze to Lightnight at his comment and couldn't help lifting a brow at him teasingly. "Oh? And who's to say it wouldn't be me protecting you?" She countered, lifting a black-toed paw to her maw and licking the back before drawing her paw over her ear. Flicking her tail-tip against Lightnight's nose. She opened one of her bright eyes to stare at him, clearly teasing him in a friendly manner. Although, she wasn't surprised by his comment and didn't take it in the wrong way either. Lionscar had to learn too, I don't always need to be protected.

Sparkpaw gave a small squeal of delight when Birchfawn found her, bouncing before touching her nose to his and then bouncing again in excitement. "Yeah! Let's do it!" She chirped, stopping to look up at her mentor eagerly. "We can start training right away, yeah? Ooooo this'll be fun! So exciting!" She purred, then suddenly remembered that the meeting wasn't done and slapped her paw over her mouth abruptly. "Sorrrrry!" She murmured, glancing apologetically up at her leader and then turning back to her mentor and bowing apologetically.

Jasminepaw purred in amusement at Hawkpaw's reaction, moving her head aside from his playful swipe and moving to swipe her tail under his nose playfully. "I suppose, nothing extraordinary." She mewed with a soft laugh. "Training and the like-" She was surprised by Fleetsmoke's voice addressing her suddenly. She glanced at her mentor and then to Hawkpaw, bashfully looking at her paws as she shuffled them slightly. "A-Ah, yes." She mewed, bravely looking back at her mentor, smiling brightly. "Hawkpaw is a very good friend of mine." She mewed with a happy little chirp.

It wasn't "brave" for her to return her mentor's gaze because she was scared. Not of Fleetsmoke anyway... Jasminepaw didn't like being caught off guard. And something about the way Fleetsmoke said that...and something about referring to Hawkpaw that way...it took Jasminepaw off guard. But why? A mentor pleasantly observing that she was making friends and developing well socially was normal. And Hawkpaw was a good friend. So... Why do I almost feel...embarrassed?
