Branchfur was already trotting to the clearing when she heard that something was happening. Making her way over Branchfur called out. ''I can supervise too!'' And sat down a little ways off.

Flickerpaw heard Nectarpaw's voice and rushed over to the gathering cats! She wanted to learn so bad! Hollyhawk had mentioned that he'd done a tunnelling lesson as an apprentice and enjoyed it, and everything he did, she must!

The large white and ref apprentice looked around wide-eyed, her gaze scanning each cat carefully. Hm. Applepaw had taught Holly, but she didn't see him... so who now? Ah! Vinesmoke! The new guy! He would have all the information in the front of his brain! He had to!

Oh... he was talking to others though- Oh well! It'd probably be fine, worst case, she could apologize for disturbing the conversation if it came to that. Flicker quickly licked down any out of place fur before making her way over.

She proudly padded her way over, chest puffed out. She cleared her throat "You! Vinesmoke- Right? You're a tunneler, yeah?" Flicker asked tilting her head "Hollyhawk learned tunneling and i wanna too" She said, matter-of-factly with a nod, a grin plastered on her muzzle "Could you teach me?" Flickerpaw asked, her tail swaying behind her as she awaited his response.

Cottonpaw found his paws weaving and wondering at the call of another apprentice. Nectarpaw if he remembered right. He pondered, what was he good at? He’d learnt both hunting and fighting now. But he presumed it’d be easier helping some of the younger kits learn to crouch, they’d be no real killing involved. He could stomach that.

He wouldn’t feel comfortable teaching another apprentice, the thought of judgment would be terrifying. Surely they’d pick up on his hesitation. Instead his gaze fell to Vinesmoke, a tunneler. Cottonpaw had seen him around but never managed to meet him properly, tunneling interested him. The youngster was almost sure there was a deep history behind it and he would quite like getting involved in that, ”I.I w.w.would quite l.l.like to l.learn a b.b.bit of t.t.tunneling if I c.c.could?” His voice rather quiet and meek, he hoped Vinesmoke wouldn't deem him unsuitable with his way of talking and all.

Training? Oh no, Dizzy was not doing training. He started to walk away, but he got jostled around by cats joining and—oh stars, he had been pushed right into the middle of the group! He couldn’t see any way to escape. Dizzy was being forced to do this by his roleplayer, it seemed.

Stormkit made his way over, he wasn’t far off becoming an apprentice now surely? What was he, four moons old now? He was both excited and nervous about it. It would be amazing getting to explore some more but what if he wasn’t very good at…well…what is it apprentices even did?

Nectarpaw was pleased. Very pleased at the amount of cats who enjoyed his idea. He had to kneaded the rock beneath him to keep the volume of his purrs down. He see's that most of the cats want battle training, which is not his strong suit, but he'll do his best. Can't let all these cat's down, can he?

His green eyes lit up at the site of Vinesmoke. The tunneler had with him a fantastic idea. "Oh, tunneling! That's a great idea, of course!" he purred with a smile. Now with the addition of Vinesmoke, some cat's came up wanting to learn how to tunnel! The apprentice's attention shifted to the voice of a kitten. Nectarpaw ducked one of the blows and lifted his paws after they were attack. He batted Squirrelkit with a soft paw and twitched his whiskers. "Well, little fighter, hope your ready for some hunting!"He straightened himself in the watchful eyes of the cats and cleared his voice to speak again.

"Alright, everyone! Flickeringpaw, Windpaw, Adderkit, Sneezepaw will do some battle training, Pineswipe mind if you teach it? Warmsun, Branchfur can help you if you'd like." He wanted it to be a apprentice thing, but if no apprentice was stepping up for battle teaching a warrior would have to do. "Mosspaw and Squrrielkit," he threw a warm glance towards the kitten,"Will work on hunting training with me. Anyone who wants to work on tunneling, go see Vinesmoke. Oh and uh.. Carpkit, Drizzlepaw and Stormkit, what training do you want?" He shuffled his paws and flicked his ear awkwardly. They hadn't said anything, so he didn't know what they wanted.

(Berrypaw is not Windclan and their post will be voided. For all who didn't ic say what training they want, please post a response saying it and moving to the respective trainer)

Vinesmoke paused mid-conversation as both apprentices approached him—Flickerpaw's energetic questions cutting through the air and Cottonpaw's more hesitant voice following. He blinked, first at Flickerpaw’s eager grin and then at Cottonpaw's quieter stance, a warm smile spreading across his face. He dipped his head to both of them. "Ah, Flickerpaw, Cottonpaw," he greeted kindly, his voice calm yet enthusiastic. "You both want to learn tunneling? Well, you’ve come to the right cat! It’s not just about knowing how to dig; it’s an art, really. It’s about understanding the land, how the earth moves beneath your paws..."

Flickerpaw’s boldness and Cottonpaw’s quiet nature made him think for a moment. "Tunneling takes patience, Flickerpaw," he said, addressing the more confident apprentice. "You don’t rush it. And Cottonpaw," he added, glancing at the more reserved apprentice, "it’s okay to take your time. Everyone learns at their own pace. If you both are ready to listen and practice, I can teach you." Vinesmoke stretched his long limbs, preparing to show them the ropes. "We’ll start with the basics. The first thing you need to know is how to recognize soft earth from hard soil, how to dig carefully so the tunnel stays stable. Once you’ve got that down, we can move on to more advanced stuff—like making turns and finding the best paths." Then, his expression turned more thoughtful. "But, before we dive in," he said, looking around the clearing, "I think it’d be good to wait a bit and see if any other apprentices want to join. The more paws, the more we can learn from each other." His blue eyes sparkled with excitement. "We’ll get started as soon as we have a few more interested, if that’s okay with you two." With a flick of his tail, he settled back, ready to begin as soon as others arrived, his enthusiasm clearly undeterred by the wait.

Squirrelkit's eyes lit up with delight as Nectarpaw announced who would be training with who. Yay! She exclaimed, climbing onto the apprentice's back and letting out a yowl of joy that every cat could hear. You're the best! She squealed, giving his ear a lick as she dug her claws into his fur for grip.
