Everything sounded fair and good. Up until swimming.

It's not that he couldn't do it, at least on the instinct he was born with, but it still wasn't pleasant. He shook imaginary water droplets from his paws just thinking about it, face pinching up like he'd just smelt something terribly sour.

The tom sat down anyways. He already felt guilty enough not going on that patrol himself. He should've been there, truly, especially with everything that happened. Even in the medicine den, he'd only healed one cat, Pineblossom, strangely enough. He was usually bad with names, better with faces, but her colorful (aka completely incomprehensible) way of speech made her stand out.

His brain couldn't help but shorten her name to "pine" though whenever he thought of her. She carried the colors of bark up until the orange in her face and paws. An odd cat. Reddove didn't concern himself with it though, he was already practically buzzing at the chance of a spar. Also... He had another apprentice. He didn't know when it was decided he'd get two but... Hopefully Willowpaw would show up, something of that sort.

Peachpaw cannot get over here fast enough. In fact, much to his total humiliation, he trips over air in his eagerness—and does not play it off smoothly. Oh, no. As a matter of fact, he falls square onto his pretty little face.

"—!!!" Whatever he hollers there is completely unintelligible. He's back on his feet in an instant anyway. Nothing is hurt, really, just his pride.

Peachpaw takes a seat nearby and stares very hard at his feet.

DandelionPaws ears flick towards the tom and his announcement, she really didn't feel like doing all that work, Swimming especially but.. if she didn't get some sort of training in she might look at permanent apprenticeship to burnedbark.
-With that thought she briskly finished up her grooming and walked over sitting amongst the other apprentices.

Flintclaw's ear flicked when he heard Hickorysmoke's call for training. His plan to do this type of event might be relieved, it seemed. However, the more the tom spoke, then more the deputy tilted his head. An awfully ambitious training session to put it simply. The idea of going back into the water made his pelt itch, but perhaps it would be good to attend, even if his chest was still aching. The dark tabby stalked forward and sat to the side, eying everyone that had shown up thus far.

Stars, Pineblossom and Reddove had decided to show up. He had a feeling that it wouldn't be long before one of them noticed his presence. He'd just stay far away until then.

He let his eyes pass them by to check in on everyone else. Such a vast amount of training in one day did seem to garner quite a bit of interest so far. It would not surprise him if there was a large turn out beyond those that had already turned up. He figured that he could supervise and assist where Hickorysmoke and Silverleopard might not be able to. It was good to see a mixture of warriors on top of the apprentices present. Thunderclan definitely needed this as a whole.

-ˏˋ Nightwatcher managed to slip out the medicine cat den and settle near to look at the event "raccoonpaw...oh thank starclan...your doing something" he meowed softly before sitting up again, careful not to open the throat injury as he padded to hickorysmoke "not staying for this even...sorry...I wanted to know if you could..uh...train raccoonpaw for me while I heal from this nasty wound" he took advantage of this to ask the tom...he found him trustworthy...very. ˊˎ

Spiderpaw cautiously approached, legs trembling. She normally wouldn't entertain this type of training, but given the recent issues with the otters...she couldn't help but feel like it would be useful. And besides, she hadn't learned to climb yet, so this'll be useful. And swimming sounded like fun! Still, she all but crawled over, clearly not as enthusiastic as some. But there were some familiar faces among the crowd! Other than the obvious - Hickorysmoke from the second otter patrol and Flintclaw the new deputy. Scorpionpaw and Emberpaw were here!

She had sparred with Emberpaw recently, but he was clearly far more skilled than her. The timid dark gray feline wanted to say hi to both of them, so after some hesitation she approached Scorpionpaw first, an established friend. "H-Hey." She managed with a timid smile. Looking over at Emberpaw, she waved her tail invitingly, calling him to come sit with them.
