Right so... this is going to be a rejected form, but with a potential for approval? I am more than fine with the plot and most everything, really! Lightningstorm herself is fluent in the cat's sign language because she had to translate for her mentor when she was an apprentice, and she knows there are warriors who know how to sign, meaning that she would talk to Twilightstar about this and ask that he be given a mentor who can teach him, potentially from an early age if there is no one in the nursery to help.

That said, kits are born blind and deaf. Their ears and eyes are closed until three to four weeks of age. Which means that deafness would be impossible to notice until the kits are about a moon old at the very least. A bit longer if the mother isn't as experienced and assumes he's just a little less attentive at first. Because of this, I must reject the form for this plot with the newborn kit as there is realistically no way anyone would know anything until those ears and eyes open up! If you wish to have the starter take place when the kit is a moon old, however, I am more than happy to move along with this as is, then!

I must add though, that regardless of which way you choose to go with this, it might take me a bit to get to the starter as I have had a fair few extremely long healings that haven't finished, and for timeline's sake I try and take care of those she was healing first before I take on the others! I'll try and get to it before long, but the twoleg traps have been doing a number on Lightningstorm's time.

very well, I can wait until he's 1 or 2 moons old to give you the time you need, blossomkit is being mean tho, so the family will survive a few more scratches n such ^^

Form accepted! I will admit though, there might be an investigation going on after this. Even if Blossomkit is deaf - I am assuming at this point the litter is at least a moon old to be able to scratch a warrior to that degree - that level of aggression is not something that Lightningstorm can look away from without informing Leopardsong or Twilightstar. I don't think anything harsh will happen to Blossomkit on account that Blossomkit is a baby, mind, but it is something to take note of.

As a question, how messed up is the eye? I know adult cats can mess up the eye enough that it needs to be removed, but if it is a simple kit scratch that went so deep he will lose his eyesight but not enough to lose the entire eye Lightningstorm knows enough to at least ensure the eye doesn't get infected while it recovers. Did Blossomkit do a full number with multiple deep strikes that dug a hole in the eye and Brightfire just stood there taking the hits?

welll- I might have been a bit far, no just one scratch but he might as well lose the eyesight, blossomkit was mad- also its fine, blossomkit needs to be uh- straightened up anyways. aside from that, brightfire reeled back as soon as he felt pain, his nose is a bit...scratched up too but the eye is more- well- banged up, he can keep the eye, but the eyesight go bye bye, I know the eye is very delicate and having something scratch in it, let alone with force its bad, kitten claws- I think their sharper then adults...I think- ehh-

You are definitely right. Kitten claws are sharper than adult cats. They are just also frailer and more nowhere near as strong, so they don't have the penetrating power of an adult cat due to not having formed layers and coats on their baby claws yet. Regardless, the eyesight can definitely be lost with just the one scratch! Feel free to send a starter when you like.

Questions, so that I know how to proceed. Is it intended for Quickwhisker to wake up upon arrival to the med den, or after he has been treated? Also, how heavy is the fracture? I understand it is pretty bad, that part is all perfect! Just want to know if it is a nasty facture alone, making the paw salvageable even if he loses the ability to use it or if it is so detached and crushed that the only viable course of action is amputation.

Yeah, he'll probably wake up soon after arrival. Quickwhisker's head did take a pretty heavy hit so he'll probably be far from lucid when he does.

The fracture is in the wrist and some of the paw bones, but the paw is still attached. It's not anything that requires amputation.

Alright, that works perfect! Feel free to send a starter of him being taken to the med den and waking up or with Marshheart bringing him in. I saw that you both had a private roleplay, so if you prefer to keep the entire thing contained within the private rp, we can go that route and just have them get to the medicine den in the private thread and Lightningstorm will follow up from there. If you prefer the medicine den thread, then drop the starter there instead. Whichever you both prefer works well.
