hrm. he wondered how honeys was. he didnt hear much from him, and driz was worried that he'd end up like... like pops.... his gaze swept across the clearing. "honeys!" he called out once he spotted his brother. "how are you doing?" he murmured once he padded over.

"i miss pops and mama."

⊹₊⟡⋆ Honeypaw had been sitting– okay more like lounging– in the clearing, idly watching as his clanmates walked past or interacted with each other. Going about their daily lives. What deersneeze had said, it stuck with him. Rattled him real good and he hated it. In that moment he had experienced the same disbelief and stunned nothingness when poppy had died. Drizzlemom had always spoken good things about their biological mother: Spring. He often felt proud to be the son of such a great cat, she had even been a high rank but now…? Well he felt awful. If she had been so bad and caused the clan distress what did that make him? Son of a cat that was exiled. Was he expected to end up just like her? Those were the thoughts that had bothered him recently. He didn't even know the full story and he was scared to know what kind of cat his mother really was. Had everything Drizzlemom told them been a lie?

⊹₊⟡⋆ Blue eyes caught sight of drizzlepaw making his way across the clearing, approaching him. He sat up a little bit straighter, tired eyes scanning his brother's expression. Was that concern or pity, he couldn't tell. ”I'm as tired as ever I suppose.” he responded to the question, propping one paw up to rest his head on. ”Of course you miss them, I miss them too. They are family” he yawned in response and ignored the distant ache of grief and loss that he'd buried moons ago beneath the snow. He wondered if maybe he was the only one that had been in the dark about their mother, did driz know? Did rose? ”Driz….what do you know about Spring?”
