Neat! The lilac kitten heads to the other participants, interest sparkling from his bronze eyes. This will be perhaps his very first time to take part in a social event, but he surely hopes that he will get to know anyone better. And speaking of which, is Primroseadder also in a mood for some communication? She seems to be very distant in the first glance, but she’s currently hosting the event, after all.

redpounce watched as the firepaw say hi to him and run away before he could respond. "aw man." he muttered. his disappointment didn't last long though. " hello uh... uh oh he didn't remember these guys named time to speedrun memory " ohright patchpaw! n marshmallow i think! nice to meet you guys!" the tom greeted them enthusiastically. "fun fact, i've never lost a race before."
meanwhile, wolfcoil was firepaw's second target. "honestly i expected someone to say the sky." he frowned. minor inconveniences like this would one day lead him to snap and have a villain arc where millions would die.

Gladepaw's ears twitched at the sudden sound of Primroseadder's yowl, the call carrying through the clearing and startling her out of her dazed thoughts. She blinked a few times, her tail twitching nervously behind her as she processed what had just been announced. Social interaction? With everyone? Her paws shifted uneasily against the sandy earth beneath her, and her amber eyes instinctively flicked toward the warriors’ den. She wasn’t exactly sure what to do with herself in such a situation. She’d never been the best at mingling. She could feel the pressure already starting to rise in her chest. She was good at observing, but participating? That always seemed to be a different story. Still, something about Primroseadder’s words made her pause. This wasn’t just a random get-together. There was purpose here. And the idea that she could actually learn something tugged at something in her chest. Taking a deep breath, Gladepaw pushed herself up from her position near the edge of the camp. She stood there for a moment, her thoughts swirling with uncertainty. But then, the reminder that everyone was part of this, that even the warriors and the kits were supposed to mingle, made her take a few tentative steps forward. The last thing she wanted to do was stay on the outskirts of this, but… how did you even start a conversation with someone? What if she said something wrong? What if they didn’t like her?
She clenched her paws, then forced herself to relax, letting the pressure of her anxiety seep out. She wasn’t going to run away from this. Not today. With a faint sigh, Gladepaw made her way into the crowd, trying to seem less like a mouse trying to hide and more like a part of the clan. As she moved, her eyes darted around, searching for someone she could speak with. She didn’t know who, exactly, but she was determined to try. If she just... approached them, maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

Seapaw exited the apprentice den to Primroseadder's call. What was this? Friendships don't last long? They tilted their head, offering a slightly confused face. Who's friendships? Because it certainly wasn't theirs - or their friends. Every RiverClan cat he'd spoken to seemed pretty lovely, and they stayed friends... Right? They liked to hope it wasn't unreciprocated.
Cats were already mingling in the clearing, and it was getting a little loud. Hm. He probably shouldn't pick any of his friends - that would defeat the point. None of them were here anyway, though. He yawned, doing a biiig back stretch, before searching for someone to talk to. Oh! There was a cat he sort of knew - Gladepaw. They'd been part of that hunting competition, but she'd gotten stuck with Fallenspirit. Too bad they couldn't hang out, she'd seemed like she needed some encouraging words.
"Hiya!" He chirped, padding up to her. "It's Gladepaw, right? We met during that hunting thing." He offered a kind smile. She seemed quite anxious, but maybe not as much so as she had during the hunting contest.
