Crowbones padded towards the camp entrance, long tail swaying as the muscular tom awaited his new apprentice. Two apprentices in one go eh? He must've been doing something right- or incredibly wrong.

Crowbones scoffed a bit, rolling his eyes as he padded out. "So what's yer problem? You look like you ain't got a happy bone in ya body. Ain't you apprentices supposed to be all happy an crap?" He raised a brow, padding on.

Frankly? He didn't really care, as long as this kid worked hard and proved himself. oh and listened.

Echopaw looked up at crowbones. "Do they?" He asked. It sounded like a genuine question. "I wouldn't know." He pawed at the dirt. "Anyways... What are we doing... I forced myself to forget whatever the heck I'd do as an apprentice..." He looked even further down, staring not at the ground, but even further, to something no one could see.

"Well I'm gonna train you for starters like I been going with Raccoonpaw. I wanna see what you got beforehand and then we'll focus on the stuff ya miss." He said as he padded towards the border with thunderclan.

The muscular tom continued to pad on, tail flicking. "So what's wrong with you." He asked callously.

Echopaw paused, silent. "It's nothing..." He finally said after a moment, not very convincing either to outsiders nor himself. he kept walking, keeping a quicker pace than before.

He was silent for a while longer, before asking "By the way... What's Racconpaw like?I've never met them." He said it in almost a whisper, like he was saying something he didn't want to.

Crowbones was damn good at reading facial expressions. He knew when a cat was lying, it was always blatantly obvious to him. "Lie all ya want kid, it ain't changing the matter." The muscular tom grunted as he padded further on.

"Raccs? She's a bit of an oddball. Wants ta be a tunneller which I can respect, but she's got this thing fer dead things an bones. She's a hard worker ya know, but every cats got their own way ta work. I was a bit of a slow learner myself when I was an apprentice, wanted to da my own thing, so I want ya to work at ya own pace. Ya got that?"

Crowbones shifted, looking at the small newly-made Apprentice.

He looked up at Crowbones slightly. My own pace? I always thought warriors made everything go super fast... Was I wrong? "O-ok..." My own pace...

He became silent again, and walked with his head down once more.

Crows paused at the thunderclan border, looking at the apprentice. "Aight kid. Let's see ya in action. What clan does this border?" Crowbones raised a brow, tail raising slightly as he tilted his head. There was a fee scents of prey, that hopefully Echo caught onto aswell

Echokit paused a little too slowly, almost passing the border, and quickly stopping himself. Smells like squirrel... "It's not--ugh-Riverclan..."he shivered a bit at the thought of the clan he hates. Hmm... Riverclan's out, and I think shadowclan has more trees... That just leaves thunderclan.

He raised his voice above a mumble for a moment to speak. "It's Thunderclan." He said simply. He still did not meet crowbones eyes, although he felt confident.
