"That was great!" Scorpionsight said.

Hm, idea.
"While we're out, would you also like to learn to hunt rabbits?"
Rabbits were WindClan's main thing to hunt, and it had to be learned before becoming a warrior, so she'd rather Maplepaw learn sooner rather than later.

Geez! How bad of a lair was Maggotpaw? This was literally the best mentor! When Scorpionsight asked if she wanted to learn how to hunt rabbits she jumped up. "Yes! Yes yes yes!!!!!" That would be so fun! Since Fallenpaw was almost a warrior, they could go hunt together! @Idiotic.Bean101

"Alright, you have to be quicker with rabbits." Scorpionsight explained "It's very similar to normal prey, but they're hearing is much better, and they move fast."
She listened around.

"Let's try and find one." She said as she sniffed the air and moved forward a bit.
She was planning on staying quiet and letting Maplepaw be the one to find it.

"Alrights!" Maplepaw hummed. Rabbit. Her nose lifted to the air as she smelt for it. Nope. Nothing. She turned around for some reason. Nah. Then, she caught a whiff. "I smell one!' @Idiotic.Bean101

"Alright, now be careful, they can scratch." Scorpionsight said "Now, try and sneak up on it. Make sure to be as quiet as you can, and when you get close, be quick."

She looked towards the direction of the rabbit, now waiting.

Maplepaw nodded. She got in her crouch and slowly stalked it. A twig under her snapped. The rabbit shot, so she went after it

It was a bit hard to jump on it while running, but she managed. She bit it's neck. The rabbit squirmed, but it died down. "I'll do better next time!" @Idiotic.Bean101

So there was a snapped twig, a running rabbit, but then the rabbit was caught and killed, which was good.
Scorpionsight looked at Maplepaw.

"Well, it was good that you still caught it." Scorpionsight said "If we can find another, you can try again. Bury that where you'll remember it. We'll come back for it."

Maplepaw dug a small hole and placed the rabbit in. Gosh darn! Why did that stupid twig get in the way?
She just wanted to impress her mentor! And become a warrior with Fallenpaw. She'd just have to do training reaaaally quickly. When was the next meeting? Soon probably. Maybe next meeting.

Scorpionsight waited, and then smiled.
"Come on, I think I can smell some more nearby." The bengal said as she started to walk a little.

They wouldn't go too far, not for now, but it was good to get moving around while hunting.
Well, she thinks so, at least.
