Caterpillarpaw groaned as they tried to get comfortable. This darn cold was making it near impossible. They continued to wiggle and squirm. Eventually they just gave up and went over to their mentor, "Can we.. uh.. Do something? Sorry to bother you. Just need to warm up and get moving.. Camp isn't exactly the place to do that." She offered a half smile, unsure about this mentor.

“Of course!, look at that leaf!” She pointed her tail at the leaf ,” I need you to get close to that while in crouch! Like this!” She drops into a crouch, and starts staking the leaf then pounce the leaf! Then she looked at Caterpillarpaw and mewed softly” you turn to try!” (Normal hunting training! :3) she thought maybe normal hunting basics, would be good start with! @CollapsingStars

Caterpillarpaw eyed the movements of their mentor, nodding. They got into a sloppy crouch, tail held slightly above the ground. With that, they stalked forward. Caterpillar then pounced! The form was.. well bad. But Caterpillarpaw didn't seem to care that much. They picked up the leaf and held it, smiling ever so slightly. "How was that?"

“ pretty good for start!, however, if tucked in your tail bit more and try to get lower! Like this!” She gotten in a crouch , she to showed her tail tucked in in and gotten pretty low to show Caterpillarpaw, then she mewed “okay your turn!” @CollapsingStars

Caterpillarpaw nodded, moving to get back into a crouch. This time they lowered themself closer to the ground. Caterpillars tail tucked, they felt silly like this. But they did it anyway. They were still weary of their mentor, but Caterpillar was sure they'd grow to like her. It'd just take time and effort. "Is this.. better?" They asked. The apprentice was growing a little nervous. Weariness turned to nervousness and now they could feel their heart racing.

“Perfect!” She mewed then noticed Caterpillarpaw was getting bit nervous, “you’ll make excellent hunter!” Trying to get her hope, bit up “and don’t worry, if your not used it yet, to be honest it took me a bit used to!” Maybe she uncomfortable?, she was like that her frist few days training!

Caterpillarpaw relaxed, growing more hopeful. She got a soft smile. "Oh. Thank you." She softly purred. "It feels a bit uncomfortable, but it's probably 'cause I've never done this before. Thank you for teaching me." Caterpillar got out of the crouch, wobbling a bit. Their tail stuck straight out as they tried to keep their balance. Winning against gravity, Caterpillarpaw's posture relaxed.

“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you get in practice on more later!” She mewed , she added “but, for now a break!, you have some pery from freashkill pile, and tell me when you ready again okay?” She knew once while breaks were fine, and at times! @CollapsingStars (Caterpillarpaw can her friends for bit to!)

Caterpillarpaw softly smiled and nodded. "Alright. I'll come to you when I'm ready to train again!" She was beginning to really like this cat. She trotted off to grab something from the freshkill pile. Picking out a small bird, she moved to sit down and eat it.
