Mountaintalon is born and bred ThunderClan, though he'd probably fit in more with ShadowClan given his typically cold exterior and emphasis on strength over everything else.
You can give his general history a read here. This has changed a bit since posting. Wolfhive has passed much to his delight and he's one step closer - Shockhoney, formerly Kestrelpaw - to starting over.
I'd put him closer to around 45-50 moons rather than the 40 like his site says since I haven't really been keeping track of his age very well. The age gap wouldn't be an issue since Mothflame isn't a brand new warrior or like 12 moons old (and he's not exactly interested in cats that young regardless).
Some Plot-Related Notes
Currently attempting to court Cedarstrike, however her drop in activity has led to his lack of interest, so he'll likely be looking for a replacement. Enter Mothflame.
Like Mothflame, Mountaintalon has an affinity for combat. So while he initially might start with his tried-and-true manipulation tactics I could potentially see him developing a more genuine interest in her because of that shared interest (though not entirely, it's not really his "thing" anymore to have major genuine interest in someone else and he'd probably just figure out a way to use it in his favor).
Kits are his top priority and he'd probably want to move pretty quick to have them as soon as possible. Depending on how things go with that, he could either end up shoving the divorce papers in her face if she says no or he doesn't like the way she interacts with them, or letting her stick around if the opposite happens.
