Twilightstar yawned inaudibly as they cut through RiverClan's territory to reach the beach. The thick nauseating scent of fish gave way to the salty, bitter smell of the sea as they reached their destination. Twilightstar slowed as her paw touched the tiny grains of sand, allowing her clan to flood in behind her. The she-cat scanned the beach with a hint of caution in her single eye, as they were the only ones here.
It had been nerve-wrecking trying to cut through their territory to reach RiverClan's. The trap invested land forced Twilightstar to send some of her more reliable warriors to scout the territory ahead and serve as markers for her to lead the clan to avoid accidentally stepping in any traps. She wasn't sure who was looking out for them since StarClan was currently silent, but she thanked them for their aid after she successfully navigated the trap-infested land without any problems or injuries occurring.
Her snarling and hissing at all her cats to keep close together or risk a demotion and ban from this gathering helped... probably. Twilightstar took a moment to breathe, trying to calm her anxious nerves while slowly walking across the sands to the stones. She couldn't even appreciate the lack of ice and freezing temperature thanks to the blasted twolegs. Twilightstar leaped from the deputy's to the leaders' perch and took a seat as soon as her paws touched the stone.
The WindClan leader swallowed her nerves and exhaustion, hiding them behind her usual mask of regalness and tranquility. She groomed her wind-swept pelt while listening to whatever nonsense Crowtooth sprouted or had going on around him, and would watch Lightningstorm with curiosity. This would be her first gathering without an apprentice, and although the leader knew the tiny medic would endure like them all, coming to gatherings without a deputy always left Twilightstar feeling a little more exposed and raw. Then again, she should probably stop projecting onto her clanmates.
Honestly, Twilightstar was desperately trying to distract herself from concerns regarding the trip home. The twolegs wouldn't move their traps in the middle of the night, right? So they should be able to get home using the same route. Hmm, wonderful, these anxious thoughts would live rent-free in her head until they made the trip home.

Yet another Gathering, Windpaw was quite excited. Not because she was expecting something in particular to happen, but because she's always loved Gatherings. She sat with the rest of her Clan, tail neatly curled around her soft paws.

Cedarpaw padded hesitantly after Twilightstar, looking around at the gathering spot. It was pretty empty so far, only WindClan had shown up. The apprentice found an empty spot near the middle and sat down, his tail flicking slightly. Maybe Cardinal would join him in a bit. Maybe. Stars couldn't even show up this time because of the incident in the clearing a few days ago.
He could be alone until someone he knew showed up. He could do it.

Spottedpaw walked to the gathering and saw her sister. She was tempted to go sit with her but waited to see if any of her other friends wanted to do the same. She couldn't hog her sister all the time!

Vinesmoke padded along with his clanmates his fur ruffled from the wind he sighed he wanted so desperately to sit with his best friend rabbitpaw or find solace in wildfire but the tom was still exhiled so he silenced his wants and looked around to see if he could fill in the space of other cats his eyes eventually landed on his new apprentice. Carefully dodging his clanmates he walked over to Windpaw trying his best to force a smile. He had enjoyed windpaws presence enough to request she be made his apprentice so it was safe to say he liked her more so in a brotherly way ever since blazingstars request he vowed to protect and watch them. His blue e Yw s took one final sweep around the clearing he knew rabbitpaw may want a friend this being his first meeting without the medical responsibilities hanging over his shoulders he kept hope his friend would show. “Hello Windpaw “ he said while dipping his head “How are you?” He es more so trying to gauge how she liked being his apprentice so far but her never ask her that

Racconpaw slunk behind the rest of her clanmates her spirits slightly dimmed she took great pride in being crowtooth a apprentice but now she was stuck with Crowbones a fascinating name yes a good mentor maybe..she hadn’t even saw the bum when she was reassigned but it was her own fault for the reassignment now she’d have to ask Vinesmoke or Dustbunny for tunneling lessons to be allowed a tunneler assessment she sighed and looked around hoping to see one of her siblings

With a bright smile, Windpaw turned to her new mentor, tail quivering happily. She could tell Vinesmoke wasn't all there, but she decided not to push.
"Hi, Vinesmoke!" She chirped her own greeting. "I'm actually doing pretty good, it's been great having you as a mentor! I'm excited for what's coming." She let out a small laugh. It was nice, having a little chat with someone less crazy than Littlepaw. Not that she disliked Littlepaw's presence. She loved it, but sometimes a little calm conversation wouldn't be so bad.
"Forget me, how are you?" Windpaw urged, a subtle way to try and get Vinesmoke to open up.
