Hermes was sitting back against a rock, his mind swirling with thoughts as a yellow tom appeared. The light gray tom hissed as he recognized the scent, the scent of his brother, Apollo. "What are you doing here? I thought we agreed never to see each other again." Hermes spat, looking at his jerk of a brother. "Simple. To make things right. I've changed." Hermes rolled his eyes, but he listened, interested in where this was going. "I haven't been the nicest cat to you- or anyone for that matter, but that makes me lonely. I have no friends anymore, while you have so many." Apollo's eyes were full of sadness and longing, though Hermes wouldn't let his guard down just yet. "I'm sorry-" Apollo's voice was choked, and a single tear fell to the ground. "I never was a good brother." Hermes was surprised at his brother's sadness. "I forgive you, Apollo."
