Frostsight had joined in on the chanting of the new names, though her voice was rather quiet. She had no connection to them, though as her clanmates, she had to show them at least a little respect. Dawnstars question had caught her off guard though. She listened to her reasoning, and scowled a bit at the description of his past. She knew she was a naturally untrusting individual, but as far as she could tell, there was no reason at all to trust him. "I'm inclined to agree with the setiments of others about not letting him join. I know Starclan did revive him, and I can understand the intrigue and curiosity as to why, but it sounds like he has not done anything as of yet to truly proven he's changed. All we have is his word, and personally, I don't find the words of someone who put others lives in danger for no reason to hold much weight. Beside, he wasn't able to survive the world all on his own, so how can we be sure he'll actually be useful here." Her voice was monotone and indifferent, a result of many moons of training it as such. She rearely betreayed her emotions, and a time when she's being asked to be objective can't be one of the one's she did. Part of her wanted to say yes, just to see what Starclan saw in him, but she had to put the clan above her own curiosity.
"That being said, his previous connection to Thunderclan could possibly be an asset in the future. Bumblestar had clearly been close to him once upon a time, which is something that could be useful with future dealing with her. I'm still hesitant to put much weight on his words, but if someone more trustworthy is able to vouch for his change in character, then perhapse I could be swayed."

"Hazycry! Wormbelly! Coyoteblossom!"
Rockjaw chanted the newly appointed warriors names a couple of times, nodding approvingly at each in turn. However, he was quickly surprised at Dawnstar's next words. Foxstep? He wasn't aware of Bumblestar's line of deputies outside of Spiderthroat, but he watched with thinly veiled interest as the ShadowClan leader gave them a choice.
"My stone's in tha no pile." He scoffed. "He was ah ThunderClan cat. Just 'cause ya die doesn't change that fact." Amber eyes scanned his clanmates expression. "Who's ta say he's not tryin' ta become an insider here ta report back ta ThunderClan 'n earn his place back?" The Aide said with a scowl. StarClan or not, this didn't sit right with him at all. Not one bit.
Hm? Two apprentices? That was better than he could've imagined. A pawful, maybe, but Stempaw would have a whole two cats to practice his moves on. To be honest, he wasn't aware of either of them. He didn't pay attention to the nursery as a whole. The only time he paid notice to kits was when they were causing a fuss. Talonpaw and Venompaw. Those were nice names. Sometimes he wished his name were a little more like that - just a little intimidating. But he did like his name; it wasn't as though he could deny the similarities between himself and the newts. Little, white bellied, patchy creatures. Suited him to a T.
The tom made his way forward to find the apprentices. With his lack of knowledge, he couldn't tell the, from the group using looks alone. But oh - one was looking up at him specifically. That had to be one of them. Talonpaw or Venompaw? He dipped his head to the apprentice, before fully observing her. Say, she looked remarkably like Tuftedtusk actually, with her mohawked back. Had the enforcer had a litter all this time? He didn't exchange anything more than formalities with the tom, but he figured he would have heard talk of such a thing by now, no? Maybe it was a wild coincidence, but Tuftedtusk was certainly one of ShadowClan's more recognisable residents. Newtbelly had never seen a cat so similar to him in appearance.
Depending on Venompaw's looks, he figured the brown-ish cat was Talonpaw. Birds of prey were often brown. It seemed logical enough. That, and the fangs. Though, if Venompaw was also brown, he'd be stumped. Still, which one were they?
His contemplation didn't last long, as Dawnstar continued with the meeting. New warriors. Always good. "Hazycry, Wormbelly, Coyoteblossom," he chanted, not exactly filled with enthusiasm. He didn't know much of those three. He supposed time would tell. Reassignments, then something else?
His skin prickled as he listened to Dawnstar's explanation. His opinion was, well no - absolutely not. He couldn't think of anything worse. Sure, if a cat left their clan of their own accord. If a cat found RiverClan too turbulent, WindClan too weak, ThunderClan too.... Eghh... ThunderClan. It made sense. But this cat had been exiled. For acting foolishly may he add. And now they were claiming to be resurrected? Please. That was the most unfathomable thing he'd heard in moons. What reason would StarClan have to resurrect some failure, a cat incapable of living a normal life within the clans. Those were his initial thoughts. But he didn't think Dawnstar was stupid, even if he couldn't comprehend her stance - her, what appeared to him, as blind belief in this cat. Dawnstar stood where she stood due to her intelligence. Maybe she understood something her didn't? He grimaced a little, as he tried to grasp onto any believable part of Foxleap's fairytale. He just... He must be missing something. "As long as we can keep a close eye on him." He grumbled. "I don't know I entirely believe his story though." He added onto the end. Yes he believed in StarClan. What he did not believe, was the ramblings of some random failure deputy.

➢ One, two, three, four.... Weepingkit's comment dragging her attention back to the group as her mind had wandered. "Don't bite me." Her words are quiet yet direct. So many children... Hollowpaw could feel the anxiety drip from her pelt, nervousness ripping through her pelt and leaving a burning sensation in her scars as they look through all four kits that clawed from her nightmares. Scorp. Weeping. Ember...? Hound?? Yes, yes. That were their names. Houndkit face planting straight into the ground, similar to his brother Weepingkit, but ending in a bloody nose and a Medicine cat in a spilt second. [ @Mica ]
So many cats in one place. Surrounding her. The Apprentice takes a step back, eyes trained on Sleepysunrise as they listened to her give the Kit orders. Stars above was she helpful in this, grounding the younger shecat as they move closer and whisper soft to her. "Thank you." It's meek, a clear uncertainty lingering in the two words as they back away from the smaller cat. [ @Estelle @wolfie ]
As Hollowpaw twists back to the kitten's mother, her bi-colored eyes find the Leader's for a moment before sitting down close to the group, nodding to the large shecat as a way to acknowledge that the situation had been dealt with properly. [ @Undertaker ]
Her ears perk as Scorp begins talking, she was about to hold the same rank as Hollowpaw. Blue and amber, glazed over from anxiety, gaze and a slight smile linger on her features as the Kit's word. "Mhm. Best of Luck, Scorp. And..." There's a pause. "...congratulations." A whisper as they flick her tail and wrap it around white paws. The smile fading from her face as Scorp joined her siblings, the burning sensation in her scars now a raging fire as they stare at the group.
Each gaining a new name and mentor. Her attention being grabbed by the mention of her Mentor's name. Ah, one of them got him as well. She missed Ibispaw, even in their brief meeting, it was better than dealing with keeping a positive relation with the very Leader of their Clan. It was best if she completed her training and not even worry about interacting with Weepingpaw beyond his sister's antics. Hollowpaw taps her paws silently on the ground, awaiting the chaos that was sure to ensue. [ @Moonraven ]
As Dawnstar wrapped up her section of Apprentices and Mentors, the topic switch was direct and instant, almost giving her whisplash. A former Deputy? His past actions risking it all and a new name. She lets the idea wander her brain before adding her opinion in her usual tone, blank and husky, each word thought out enough for Hollowpaw's liking. "No. He risks lives of others for his own stupidity. Second chances should be given to those deserving....he is not one of those cats, ma'am." Adding on the final word as her voice fades off, ending her statement and they fall silent once more, awaiting more opinions of their Clanmates.
That should be everyone, I tried to mention the user at each part that relates to their character

When he was alive, Yellowtwist took everything not being very smelly for granted. Same with being around mostly people from only shadowclan except for during battle and the pointless time of month where we all miss an opportunity to throw cats at walls. Because starclan said so.
Starclan said a lot of things. Starclan says you can rot in hell if you sneeze the wrong way or say you don't like them. Seriously he saw some of the most innocent people in the clans in the dark forest. More importantly they sent him there for no reason aside from being angry at clans that harm you several times, and kill your friends.
THANKFULLY he could appear here for a limited time to say something and disappear. And he really needed to now because apparently dawnstar has gained +300 stupid points. "are you seriously even considering letting them in? They're from Thunderclan, which is a collection of all the rats that couldn't kill me, if you weren't previously aware. Also starclan's decisions should carry as much weight as a worm." he was only a little ashamed of dying of drowning in rats. Yellowtwist, a fierce, brave shadowclanner who wish to kill at least 70% of non-shadowclan cats before he died, died because of an oversized mouse. Maybe he'd come back permanently one day, especially if they decide to keep a squirrelclan cat so he can politely remove their face from their head.

Wildstorm blinked with surprise when she heard her name. An apprentice eh? How lovely. Though outwardly, the only show of any kind of feeling was a flick of her ear. Which easily could also have been her acknowledging the assignment. As a matter of fact, it was both. The ornery she-cat turned to seek out Hawkpaw from the crowd as Dawnstar continued the meeting, and then she froze. What nonsense was this? Letting in an outsider with such a past?
Wildstorm snorted, unafraid to hide her contempt for StarClan’s decisions as of late. “I dunno that StarClan is as all knowing as they think they are.” She grumbled when there was a gap in the voices she could speak her mind. “Personally, I don’t find that compelling enough for us to give him a chance. For all we know, he screws up again like he did before. And this time it’ll be our apprentices risking casualties.” With a final lash of her tail, Wildstorm signified she had spoken her peace. Whatever Dawnstar decided was what she’d go with obviously. But if he was allowed into the clan again, she had no intention of taking her eyes off him.

as dawnstar speaks up, squirrelrise turns her attention back to the grimpeak. there's a pawful of apprentices this meeting, multiple being dawnstar's own kits. she sends a glance to her mother when she's assigned another apprentice - one of the dawnspawn. after the apprentice ceremonies, next up we're warrior ceremonies. two of three were cats she recognizes: duskpaw and wormpaw ..wait, wormpaw?! her apprentice?!
blinking, squirrelrise cranes her neck to catch sight of the white flecked apprentice at the front. her ears perk, eagerly awaiting to hear the younger receive its full name. part of her is tempted to squeeze past her clanmates and sit closer to the front, but.. there's cowkit beside her and she doesn't want to leave a kit alone considering the patches of ice. so she settles for the spot she's in, a grin growing on her maw as wormpaw receives his warrior name-- wormbelly. she feels..proud of him, and herself in a way.
"h..hazycry.. coy-coyoteblossom..wormbelly...!" she cheers. though, it more or less just sounds like a normal speaking volume. anywho, next up are reassignments. she blinks a few times when she hears an apprentice being reassigned to her, glancing around the crowd for wisppaw. he's been reassigned a few times.., she recalls. after spotting the apprentice and a few moments of consideration, she signals him over. if he actually came over or not is up to him.
dawnstar's next announcement is.. interesting, and has the small warrior's brows knitting together. she's really never had a problem with outsiders or cats from other clans joining shadowclan. if anything, she tries to give people the benefit of a doubt but.. not this time. she's not sure why the opinion of starclan matters considering their history of doing more damage than good. besides, even if foxstep's choice to take apprentices on a mission to clear out foxes was a mistake, it should be common sense to not take apprentices on such a task. her clanmates seemed to feel the same way, though she feels like some of them are putting more emphasis on the fact foxstep is formerly thunderclan than the fact he got apprentices harmed.
squirrelrise shuffles her paws, a tight frown on her maw as she debates whether she should voice her opinion or not. she's been getting much better about speaking but doing it in front of everyone makes her paws feel a bit shaky. it'll be fine, you're fine, she reassures herself before clearing her throat. "err..rmm..I think.. think that - that he is..a..po-potential..danger..if I - I am..honest. st-sstarclan's..decisions..aren't..always - always s-smart." oh look, there's that dreadful feeling. it's not as intense as it used to be, however, but still lingers - making her pelt burn.

Blackberrybat purred at the response, he could tell that the apprentice was a little unsure about him, but he was used to that response. Most of the crowd here in Shadowclan is all business and no fun, which isn't a bad thing, they were the best clan for a reason, but he wasn't like that so much. He knew when to get serious but liked being friendly and light for his clanmates. Right now though, he made his face a bit more serious as he listened to the apprentice's wants, and nodded in agreement. "Having the eagerness and want is the first step, I will do everything I can to help you be the strongest!"
He motioned towards the grimpeak with his ears, "We'll begin right after this meeting if you want, but we get to see some warrior ceremonies right now." He reached forward to press his nose to Yarrowpaw's forehead if she allowed him to, the traditional greeting between mentor and apprentice. He felt it was a nice way to conclude this conversation for now. Listening to any last words that the calico may have before he found a seat again. He wasn't expecting Yarrowpaw to sit with him, she had family after all, but he showed the offer with a pat of his feathered tail to his left.
Yars nodded at Blackberrybat's response, that was satisfactory. He seemed just as eager for her to succeed as she does. She sat and listened quietly (re: impatiently) as the new warriors were made, then listened as Dawnstar did some reassignments and other stuff. Why are they even discussing this? Whatever. Yars didn't have a mind for politics, this kinda thing went over her head for now. It wasn't that she didn't have an interest in learning it, obviously knowing politics was important for rising through the ranks. But this particular scenario was...not as difficult as everycat seemed to think it was. Sounds like this cat was a liability. Yars didn't think Dawnstar was the type to entertain this kinda thing.
But, she was a new apprentice. What did she know? At least for now, she knew she wasn't in a place where she could give an opinion. Then again...maybe they should let him into the clan. He was bound to screw up again, and then he'd be put down again by leadership. Then the whole forest is spared his stupidity.
SO WHAT WAS THAT? There was a SPIRIT in the camp?? This was far more news than Dawnstar asking for any of their opinions on something, which in and of itself had been so shocking that Shrewstep had clasped a paw to his chest in dramatic surprise. He was a bit of a diva, sue him. Well there's a Starclan cat RIGHT THERE, and he doesn't seem too convinced the squirrel should be back! he mewed, pointing a paw at the apparition of Yellowtwist a tad tremulously. He.....might be the only one seeing that, now that he bothered to think for more than a single second. Whatever. Maybe he looked a little crazy. Oh well. Who cared. I reckon no, creepy Starclan apparition or not! he'd already been against it, but the maybe-imaginary-ghost had really made his mind up. (open)
