Dayback yawned, stretching his legs as he padded out from the nursery, despite the angry protests from his kits he was sitting on. No. not sitting on. Babysitting. Although technically it was both, his parenting technique being more like a mother hen's than a cat's. This lesson sounded interesting, and important to repeat to his young ones later. Without further instruction, the young tom padded over to join the others.

He's not entirely pleased by the explanation he's given, but he understands why it is the way it is. There is obviously a very good reason why Wolfhawk wouldn't want to gove away in-depth details about the poisons he's covering; they should all be aware of these things stricty for safety's sake, not so educated that they can get up to nefarious deeds. And anyway, the medicine cat would have to have seen and been timing dozens of poisonings to be able to give a clear timeline estimate, which would be downright horrifying. Peachpaw nods, grateful for the information that he does glean, and is a silent participant from then on since the gathered crowd tends to ask all of the same questions that he has come to mind.

Glowing mushrooms...Peachpaw should very much like to see something like that. Hopefully someday. That seems to be about all that Wolfhawk has for them today. Peachpaw stretches up to his feet, ears twitching toward Alpinepaw as she suggests a refresher.

"I think that's a good idea. That's right about when plants'll be blooming fresh, too, right?" And it couldn't hurt for Poison Awareness to be a regular session anyway. He pauses to then add, "Thank you again for teaching us this, Wolfhawk."
