Winterpaw sat there, Patchpaw just... not being there. The 28 moon apprentice stared at the warrior. "Hey, Beachheart." it barked, "Can I fight with you instead?" "Because SOMEONE decided not to show up." it spat.

"that's smart in battle" he commented, managing to recover quickly and he managed to straighten up again. «•« ▇▆▅▃▂▁

Sprucepaw recoiled as she was slapped in the face. That had stung enough to almost bring tears to her eyes. It seemed like Firepaw didn't think like her about no head blows. Beachheart hadn't mentioned anything about it. She blinked, doing her best to recover. Focus! Once more, her paw was brought up as she tried to bring it down across his right shoulder blade. If she ran around to try and hit his hind leg, he'd expect it this time, wouldn't he?

Claypaw was left open by her fumbled attack, and she saw Seapaw's counter coming right towards her. Uh oh, that looked like it was going to hurt. Without thinking about her options, she fell onto her side and used the momentum to roll onto her back. Just in time. "Haha!" She cried, and tried to slap Seapaw against his belly while she was upside down.

he/they - 13 moons - Go with the flow

Their paw swiped through the air, and thankfully didn't hit - it would've been way too hard! They couldn't think of many things worse than accidentally hurting such a young apprentice. It landed with a thud, then Claypaw swiped back at them [rolled: 9], but they swerved out of the way, and lashed out with another paw [rolled:19]

Sprucepaw hesitated when she saw Firepaw tumble. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Was he ok? She looked ready to ask a question, but ended up getting a light tap on her leg. Light green eyes look down at where he hit, before back up to Firepaw. Training could wait just a moment. "Are you hurt? I'm sorry."

Drats, her attack missed! Claypaw was sure that one would land. It was a creative attack and all. She rolled once again, both avoiding another attack and allowing her to scramble to her feet. This was getting to be pretty fun! Claypaw lashed out with a paw to swipe at their muzzle.
