Spiderpaw cautiously approached, legs trembling. She normally wouldn't entertain this type of training, but given the recent issues with the otters...she couldn't help but feel like it would be useful. And besides, she hadn't learned to climb yet, so this'll be useful. And swimming sounded like fun! Still, she all but crawled over, clearly not as enthusiastic as some. But there were some familiar faces among the crowd! Other than the obvious - Hickorysmoke from the second otter patrol and Flintclaw the new deputy. Scorpionpaw and Emberpaw were here!

She had sparred with Emberpaw recently, but he was clearly far more skilled than her. The timid dark gray feline wanted to say hi to both of them, so after some hesitation she approached Scorpionpaw first, an established friend. "H-Hey." She managed with a timid smile. Looking over at Emberpaw, she waved her tail invitingly, calling him to come sit with them.

Emberpaw noticed Spiderpaw. Quietly padding over, his jet black fur contrasting against his single bright ear, twitching his whiskers in greeting, Emberpaw gave a friendly yet not invasive brush of his tail over Spiderpaws side. "Hey. Long time no see?" He joked gently, his navy blue eyes rounded.

Hickorysmoke looked at nightwatcher, ears pricked. "I'd be happy to. Just let me know when you want trainin' back, till then I got ya covered."

He nodded, his gaze shifting to Flintclaw, the deputy. "Flintclaw! Care to join us?"

His deep voice rumbled as he looked at the tabby. Quite a few cats were here already, but he'd give it a few more minutes. Quite the turnout, but Hickorysmoke expected as much.

"I could use ya as a referee fer some of the spars if ya don't mind." He said, it felt weird to tell the deputy that, but hey, he was in charge of the training event, and Flintclaw was a hell of a good fighter, he'd see dirty tricks easily.

Flintclaw dipped his head to Hickorysmoke as the warrior approached. "Of course," He rumbled. He didn't mind at all, actually. The deputy had never refused to help in training before and he certainly wasn't going to start, now. "Just send them over to me once you've explained your rules and I'll watch over them." He told the other tom as his eyes roamed over the gathering group. Hopefully, they would come out of this with warriors and apprentices better for it.

Silverleopard’s eyes narrowed as Hickorysmoke called Flintclaw over, and a part of her felt a bit of irritation with the deputy. They hadn’t exactly parted on good terms during their last interaction.

Her curled ears flicked, betraying her discomfort with the deputy being so close. If Silverleopard were to be completely honest, she didn’t want Flintclaw within at least three fox-lengths close to her.
