Oh - a patrol! Mistypaw’s amber eye lit up at the idea of something to do. Her muscles were still aching but she ignored that for now, because the wealth of RiverClan was much more important. With a twitch of her whiskers she joined Fadingsun and Moonfawn. Checking WindClan borders would be alright, they didn’t many tensions with the clan compared to ThunderClan. Though of course they would have to be cautious due to the recent events. As far as she knew though, WindClan wasn’t one for unecessarily crossing borders and picking fights during a mere border patrols. She gave her patrolmates a little bob of her head. “Ready to go,” she mewed, trying to sound as positive as possible.

Re: RiverClan Patrols
bunnytuft - riverclan - warrior - he/him
Bunnytuft's ears perked with alarm as he realized that he'd kept his patrol waiting amongst his nap. The fluffy white tom immediately got up, the large cat breaking into a dash to meet his patrol. He flushed as he dipped his head in apology. He'd always considered himself a good and hardworking warrior of RiverClan. And how hypocritical he was, thinking of his Clanmates as lazy while he napped through Birdsnow's call.
The large tom's voice rumbled in apology. "I apologize for making you both wait. Shall we go on with the patrol?" The usually serious tom asked as he tried to smooth his ruffled fur from his embarrassment.

Deerspark groggily shrugged his shoulders, their bones jutting out awkwardly. "Mhm," was all he could muster.
He turned his head to Sparrowsnarl and waited for the "okay" from the patrol leader himself.
He wouldn't be going anywhere unless instructed.
He noticed that the pale white warrior was rather frazzled, maybe even tired. In truth, they were all tired. Too much had happening recently, and rest was scarce. Deerspark found himself grateful for actually being able to snag a wink or two of rest.
He offered what was meant to be a comforting smile, but he probably looked more like a very confused frog that was left upside down for too long.
Kestrelskies walked back into camp, slight exhaustion weighing on her. She couldn't stop thinking about what she saw on that patrol. What could have caused the damages to the hawk? There was no way Thunderchaser was right- that was no predators doing. It had to have been something smarter. A coyote might have. Or... a cat. She shivered.
Walking over to Fadingsun, she nodded her head in respect. "Shadowclan border's secure. Calm, exceot for one thing. There was.. a hawk. It didnt have legs. Thunderchaser insisted it was a predator, but..." She looked uncomfortable for a moment. "I don't want to jump to a conclusion, but. You don't think Shadowclan could be behind this?"

Fishfreckle made his way back from his patrol and deposited their spoils into the prey pile. It bothered him that the trio had so little to show for their excursion, but there was not much he could do about it. A look of displeasure on his face, he padded over to Fadingsun after mulling it over for amoment.
”Hard time finding prey. Two fish.” He said, keeping his words short and simple. He wasn’t much in a talking mood at the moment, and as such refused to elaborate further. He also failed to mention that he got his fish from one of those weird bug-looking things (a crab), a secret he would be taking to the grave. ”Bye bye.” he said before waving his tail in farewell as he turned to leave. He wasn’t too enthused about talking to the other tom, and if at all possible, he wanted to avoid any further conversation.
[ @Cherry~ I meant to do this earlier when I got off of work, and I also lost like my whole post, so you get this. Whoops]

Sparrowsnarl nodded to Bunnytuft as the warrior scrambled over, but he didn't say anything. He understood how everyone was frazzled and tired. Hell, he was almost falling asleep on his paws. He would be lenient this time. Gesturing for the two warriors to follow him, he headed towards the ThunderClan border.
BeanFloat ←
|He/him | 18 moons | Purrks: Beefed up Tier Two;Not Skiddin' Around; Mind Reader | Straight | Warrior | light marmalade fur with very bright fawn spots, green and blue eyes
Beanfloat walked back with his patrol mates following him hopefully as he held the prey in his jaws as he took paw step by pawsteps carefully he couldn't really speak so he hopped his patrol mates didn't ask any questions because he didn't feel like dropping and picking up the prey over and over again. I think I did pretty well with this hunt if I say so myself the rabbit and the shrews in his jaws. As he spotted the camp walking and and towards Fadingsun. Hopefully his patrol mates in suit he nodded towards the warrior dropping his prey. "Hey where back from our hunting patrol from Sleepy thickets I think we caught a lot of prey this time!" he smiled towards the warrior. "There was nothing out of the ordinary in what I saw and heard but its such a tad bit muddy up there so pretty slippery!" he purred as he placed a paw towards his prey. "I managed to catch some shrews and this pretty rabbit" he looked back. "They can say what they caught if they like but if we are free I can place it back into the prey pile and head on? he asked the warrior.
Adderpaw
Determined ⋆ Loyal ⋆ Lawful Good ⋆ She/Her ⋆ Beefed Up T3
“One day I’ll be the greatest warrior of all the clans!”
@Cherry~
Adderpaw followed Beanfloat along holding her bounty of prey. The taste of the fur was getting annoying in her mouth at this point. At least with the annoying taste it wouldn't tempt her to nibble a little like fish would. Maybe she could find a friend to sit with her and share a trout with. Now that would be the dream.
When Adderpaw's attention snapped back from preferred prey she realized that she was back at the patrol place. "I got a squirrel and three shrews. I also managed to catch a ghost but it wiggled out of my claws after we left the sleepy thickets." Adderpaw said making a little joke. Things have been boring.
Stars, the first round of patrols he'd sent out hadn't gone all too well. Three patrols hadn't been reported; he'd already taken care of the herb patrol, but Snakechill and Nightweb's patrols hadn't been reported in, either.
Frustration exploded within him, causing his gait to become rather intense as he stalked towards the cats needing punishment. When would RiverClan's cats start learning to pull their weight? He was glad Birdsnow was getting stricter with punishments; if cats couldn't do their duty, they needed to be punished for it.
"Snakechill ( @dino. ) and Nightweb ( @Kida )," he hissed. "Neither of you reported your patrols. As patrol leaders, it is your responsibility to ensure patrols are completed and reported. Especially you, Snakechill; with tensions being as high as they are with ThunderClan right now, I need to know if anything is going on at the border so that information can be relayed to Birdsnow."
He gave a quick lash of his tail. "Given that Birdsnow has instructed that punishments are going to be harsher going forward, and given that both of you were patrol leaders, you're both getting temporarily demoted. For the next half moon, you'll be known as Snakepaw and Nightpaw, respectively. You are not to leave camp without a warrior to accompany you, and I don't want to see you set paw in the warriors' den. If a warrior tells you to do something, you obey without argument or complaint. While you're demoted, I want chores getting done around the camp. Don't let me catch you sitting on your asses doing nothing."
It seemed Coldlake and Fallowswirl had vanished from the Clan, so he moved on to the other two. Swinging his gaze around, he raked Starlingflight ( @Tiabirb ) and Pinefire ( @furrensic ) with a cold gaze. "Just because the lot of you weren't patrol leaders doesn't mean you're exempt from punishment. When your patrol leaders didn't step up to report in, you should've taken that up yourself.
"We're going to be starting a new punishment around here, and I think the pair of you will suit just fine as the first to try it out. You'll be joining me at the first available opportunity to go down into our tunnels. You'll spend a few hours down there with me, stabilizing them and helping me map them out. It's dirty, difficult work, so hopefully it will make the pair of you think twice before slacking again."
( dino and Kida - Snakechill and Nightweb have been temporarily demoted. The earliest date that they may return to their warrior status is March 19. During this time, if Snakepaw or Nightpaw cause any further issues, are caught leaving camp without a warrior, or are seen in the warriors' den, they may face further punishment. While demoted, they must each complete three chore posts. These posts need to be at least 100 words long, and include the character doing something helpful around camp, i.e. changing bedding, bringing prey to the queens, visiting patients in the medicine den, etc. They will not be allowed to get their warrior status back until these posts are complete.
Once these posts are complete and we've reached March 19, post with your character here and tag me, and Fadingsun will grant them their warrior name back.
Tiabirb and furrensic - I'll be making a private thread soon for your cats' punishment. Once it's your turn, you'll have one week to post with your cat arriving. I'll bump you once for this. If your cat fails to show, they will face further punishment. Once the rp begins, whenever it's your turn you will have five days to respond; failing to respond after this will result in your turn being skipped. If I have to skip you more than twice, your cat will be treated as negligent on the patrol and punished further.

Nightpaw lower his gaze and nodded, understanding fully what has happened."Understood Fadingsun," he mews quickly, feeling a deep guilt run through his body. Without another word he headed to the apprentice den.
