Hello! Given this little lady had just been born, she is in a dire need of some future interactions and relationships. At the moment, Kestrelkit, given that she has just been born, wouldn’t be able to interact straight away until after this role-play is over. I feel like this thread will do good with finding her some future interactions and potential relationships that she can develop throughout both kithood and apprenticeship. Please take note that she will be very important to me, so if your cat goes missing or anything else tragic-inducing occurs, it may go into heavy affect for her. Any details regarding her personality, appearance, and basic relations will be found here on her google doc. Please note that some information displayed along the google doc needs to be updated, so it may not all be correct, but other than that, it shows most of what Kestrelkit will be like for the future!

Other than that piece of information, for in general, Kestrelkit will struggle to make friends or be social with cats her age. She’s more likely to observe others from a distance rather than actively engage, often preferring to rely on her sharp instincts and quiet intelligence to assess situations. As she grows and develops into an apprentice, her guarded nature and stoic demeanor may make her a bit intimidating to her peers, but those who take the time to break through her walls will discover a fiercely loyal and deeply thoughtful friend. Kestrelkit may eventually come off as blunt or unapproachable, but her intentions are never cruel—she simply values honesty and authenticity over superficial pleasantries. Similar to her mother, she’ll carry an intense curiosity about her surroundings, and may wander into places with the intent of learning more about it (ex: medicine den, leader’s den…).

She’ll often keep most questions to herself, opting to learn by observation. As an apprentice, this curiosity will evolve into a strategic mind, and she’ll most likely seek out relationships with cats who challenge her intellectually or emotionally. She’ll grow to be the type to appreciate honesty, even if it stings, and will grow closer to those who can match her sharp wit or see beyond her soon-to-be future tough exterior. Right now, she’s just a small kit who doesn’t know much about the world and will most likely ask the most obscure questions that pop off the top of her mind, mainly about who her mother was as a cat. But, she is also very willing to defend her siblings that won’t ever change as she grows older, so she won’t be hesitant to defend her brothers and sister if that comes to be a possibility.

Now, onto what I will be looking for in general!

- icons/cats she’ll look up to
- future mentor

Please know that a couple of these I am gonna be… particularly picky for—like best friends, icons, and future mentor—as I would see for her future mentor that it could be a cat that personally knew Spring and is literally taking on a Spring lookalike as an apprentice, and perhaps may view Kestrel not in a good light and this may develop her out as a character. Other than that, anything works for her! Please note that it usually depends on how the role-play goes with how your cat gets along with her because as she grows, she’s gonna turn more blunt & stoic and may start to view your cat differently in an either positive or negative note.

No form is necessary! Just let your creative juices flow! Just make sure to include all of the basic details in there, such as personality & appearance, dynamic info, and plot ideas, as well as anything else that you would like to include in applications. I would like to throw Brackenclaw in the ring for either icons/cats she’ll look up to or Future Mentor. Why Brackenclaw would do this if he wasn't the most connected to Springlight personally? Simple Brackenclaw is a loyal friend and was and if Orangeblossom is still around a friend to him. Brackenclaw also would want to make it his mission to see that Springlight's kit is raised to be a great cat!

i can potentially offer hollowpaw as a pal maybe :catpeek: he's got a bit of a sharp tongue and idt he's really one to view parentage as a definite reflection of who the children are so bias won't be an issue lol

For now, I think it may be the best to choose the route of a possible cat she could look up to. Like I said, it often depends on how the role-play goes and given Kestrel doesn’t know who Orangeblossom is, that may not do a whole lot for the relationship in itself as he isn’t around. Other than that, an interaction could still be possible!

Kestrel is planned to interact with Wolfpaw in the future so adding Hollowpaw to the mix would definitely spice it up! Can definitely see her getting along with him with how similar in personality they both will be. Perhaps he could be a cat she eventually looks up to in later time? O:
