Tulipkit had a pretty normal kithood for the first few years of her life. She was bubbly and lively, and could often be found playing with other kits, or chasing around the insects and dreaming about apprenticeship.
This was until her brother Fogkit disappeared. When they were both 4 moons old he got picked up by a hawk and carried away, into ShadowClan territory. The anxious Tulipkit informed many cats of his absence, but to no avail. To her it seemed as if nobody even noticed his absence besides herself. His presence in ShadowClan was announced at a Gathering, however no one informed Tulipkit.
Since then she became gloomy and closed off. She kept to herself mainly, except for around Beanfloat, her older brother and inspiration. She spent most of leaf bare alone and not talking to any other cats.
Tulipkit then felt haunted by her brother, as if he was a ghost that plagued her thoughts constantly as she was dragged down into depression. She was constantly praying for his return, praying for him to be safe or visit her in a dream or something, but her prayers were never answered.
Her apprenticeship was prolonged 2 moons, she was 8 moons old when it happened, and despite the sinking feeling, she took the name Tulippaw, with her brother Beanfloat being her mentor. Around this time Tulippaw was starting to turn over a new leaf. She wanted to finally let go and move on. She was sick of being sad, and with a new found determination to be an apprentice, she began putting effort into life once more.
Beanfloat never got to training her, and she eventually got him reassigned to get Berryflare. With this reassignment came the realization that every single family member she had was disappearing. Beanfloat, Fogkit, Honeykit, and Hollyflight. Feeling abandoned and upset, she's begun to sink back into her negativity and resentment.
