today seemed like a pretty good day for training! luckily his apprentice was already awake in the clearing, so hurray for convenience! "hey, patchpaw! ready to learn to hunt?" he offered to his apprentice. hopefully she was as bored as he was and needed something to do as well. if not he could always go bug someone else he guessed but it would be mildly disappointing nonetheless.

"awesome! sorry for the wait, by the way, i was busy." he lied because he is a stinky liar. he was not busy he just forgot, and he knew it. if you thought he would admit to this, you were sorely mistaken haha. "follow me!" he meowed, trotting into the territory.

"show me your hunting crouch." he said once they were a decent ways away from camp.
