MOSSTANGLE
Shadowclan Enforcer | 20 moons | Large, dark brown-and-white tabby she-cat with green eyes

It had been a while since Mosstangle last practiced flaying and skinning. However, with the recent orders circulating around outsiders, it seemed quite the necessary lesson. The dark tabby worked tirelessly before the sun even came up. She three mice for the lesson. It wasn't unusual for apprentices to hunt their own prey for these lessons, but since she already knew that Morningpaw was more than capable of hunting, she didn't bother with the half of the lesson.

Instead, she wanted him to see what a finished product looked like. Well, she actually wanted to practice and make sure she was still capable of doing it, but the first one was a better excuse to the enforcer. She brought the three mice back to camp and settled down in a corner of the camp to get started. She worked slowly and methodically. Her rper doesn't want to give away all of the instructions ahead of time, so after a while, she pulled the pelt of the mouse free and laid it beside the little creature. She felt quite satisfied with how it turned out and took a moment to admire the little, gruesome scene.

By the time she was done, the sun was rising. Mosstangle stretched carefully and luxoriously, avoiding agitating her sprained shoulder, and padded over to the apprentice den. "Morningpaw," She mewed for her apprentice, peering into the den. She was hoping he would already be up since he knew that he had training today. Well, she was pretty sure she told him, despite the training getting a little bit delayed. He had been pretty excited about the lesson. "Flaying lesson, lets go."
