Looking at her sister with a light pout as she was told to rest. "Fineeeee. I'll rest." Daisypaw mewed. Though her tone was amused and happy, Daisypaw gave a small wince as she stood. "My hind leg is killing me" Daisypaw murmured. Streching it softly.

Berryshine smiled at the thought of the kits learning from Daisypaw; hopefully, activities like these would help chase away the dread and frustration that she knew the younger cat struggled with due to her condition.

"You can stay in here if you'd like," she mewed, gesturing to one of the nests where patients usually slept, but it was empty today. "I'd rather you not have to t-trek all the way back to the apprentice's den." Green eyes flitted to Stagheart. "Why don't you come back tomorrow a-and see if she's alright for another day of training?"

Stagheart dipped his head in agreement, flicking his striped tail on Daisypaw's shoulder. "Yeah, alright. I'll see ya tomorrow, okay, Daisy? We'll see if yer feelin' alright for more trainin'. Listen to your sister in the meantime," he added sternly, though the fondness in his tone and eyes wasn't lost. With a smile, he ducked out of the den, headed to clearing. The sun was going down now, and it'd been a productive day.

Daisypaw beamed at her sister's idea. "Just like I used to. This was practically my spot" Daisypaw purred. Settling down in the nest. Gently purring a goodbye to her mentor as she streched. Her strech causing her to give a small inhale. Her terrible way of hiding her pain. "I remember when my hindpaws could barely reach the end" Daisypaw mewed. Her toes now slightly over the rear of the nest. Daisypaw seemed to pick up her Windclan father's long limped genes as she was almost taller than willowtail and berryshine

Stagheart chuckled to himself as he heard Daisypaw's comment while he left the den. That was true... she used to be in there all the time as a younger kit, when Berryshine had had to keep an eye on her. Now she was nearly bigger than her older sisters.

"Mhm... look how much you've grown. Y-You'll surpass all of us at this rate," Berryshine purred, watching Stagheart go before turning her gaze back to Daisypaw. Then her eyes softened slightly. "Mm... y-you look like you're in pain, Daisy. Here... chew on some dandelion leaves. It'll lessen some of your pain s-so you can sleep easier." The medic pushed forward some leaves towards Daisypaw with a smile, touching her nose to her ear. "Get some sleep... I'll be across the den if you need me, o-okay?"

Berryshine knew her adoptive sister was likely frustrated, and had a reasonable right to be; it had to be tough, living in a constant condition of weakness and frailty compared to her Clanmates. But Berry would do what she could to keep her spirits up.

Berryshine had been about to go for her own nest, but... could sense that maybe Daisypaw needed company. That, or some encouragement, she wasn't sure which. Perhaps both could be provided...

The medic silently sat down next to her sister, letting their pelts faintly brush together. She'd take a rest, too, and would stay at her side. Besides, it was nice taking a nap this close to another cat; she hadn't gotten to do so much after Cobwebstorm... left.

Daisypaw felt her sister's pelt brushing her. Gently and silently leaning into Berry. Daisypaw sighed contently. Small and silent moments like this made the fragile apprentice feel better. Daisypaw rested her head on Berryshine's back. Cuddling closer as she drifted off to sleep.
