Make sure to congratulate Versailles on their promotion from c-mod in training to fully fledged chat moderator! They've worked very hard, and we can't wait to see where they go from here!
Briarsplash's fur prickled at the mention of the attacking outsiders. One had gone for Sleepysunrise, too? Thank goodness Rookfire had been there. Her tail lashed once when her name was mentioned; yes, the rogue that'd fled before she could properly sink her claws into him... so he'd been a former ShadowClan apprentice. Her claws sunk into the ground, agitated. If she saw him again, she'd surely not let him escape next time.
It was a shame that Darkpaw got demoted, but hey, if ya can't do the patrols then the team couldn't count on them. She briefly wondered who the next victim of Sleepysunrise's errand-runners would be.
And... kill-on-sight and pelt-flaying, eh? Sounded just fine to her. With a grunt, the Enforcer dipped her head in acknowledgement to her leader's orders before turning tail to leave.

☆-Blackjaw-☆
[He/Him]
{22 Moons}
~Straight~
"They told me all of my cages were mental"
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
Blackjaw chanted the newly named warriors names with the rest of the Clan, and when the clamor died down, he listened to the rest of what Dawnstar had to say.
Blackjaw's eyes narrowed as the leader spoke of the atrocities being committed. Sleepysunrise nearly killed, Midnightclaw attacked by a former apprentice, and StarClan knows what else. It was sickening. The tom wrapped his tail protectively around Wildpaw, almost as if shielding him from the outside world. He couldn't shield him forever though, and one day, they might come face to face with these monsters.
The tom turned to lock his eyes with Mosstangle. The idea of rogues freely travelling the territory was terrifying to say the least, but even more so when he had someone to worry about. Of course he worried for all members of the Clan, but Mosstangle was his. Well, she would be. That still wasn't sorted out. Regardless, he harbored a deep worry for the queen. He knew she could hold her own, but so could Sleepysunrise, and look at what happened to her.
Blackjaw met Wildpaw's own gaze with one of deep thought. Why skin them... the tom couldn't quite fathom the idea. "To send a message," he mewed coldly. He hated for Wildpaw to already be learning of the harsh reality of blood, but it seemed this was what StarClan had laid out in front of them. "You won't have to skin them, I promise," he mewed. The tom's golden gaze was filled with a mix of fear, anger, and thought. He knew he wouldn't hesitate to kill if he needed too, but Wildpaw seemed queasy at the idea. Surely just jitters, but something they would have to talk about.
WILDPAW
Shadowclan Apprentice | 6 Moons | Long-furred calico tom with yellow eyes
Butter fur (ewww...)
~~~
Wildpaw looked between Blackjaw and Mosstangle as they shared a look. He didn't know what that look meant, but he did know they were really close... So he looked over at Morningpaw, because that was his best friend. Blackjaw looked at his best friend, so Wildpaw should do the same, right?
Anyway, his eyes returned to his mentor when he started to speak. To send a message... The idea did make him uncomfortable, so he was glad that Blackjaw said he wouldn't have to do it. He just nodded and looked back at Morningpaw, wondering if Mosstangle would do the same for him. Or, maybe it didn't bother his friend as much as it did him. Then his eyes travelled back to Dawnstar, before the unbearable urge to scratch his chin came up. Why was his fur being so annoying?
Ooh, he could skin them? Excellent. But first... "Mosstangle," The dark apprentice meowed to his mentor. "Can you teach me skinning next?" Yup, great idea. At Wildpaw's question, he said, "To show them not to mess with Shadowclan."
Wait, she had a new mentor? Shatteredpaw looked around, startled when a wierd warrior appeared in their face. "Back off," They snarled, tail twitching, raggedy ears flicking blood off of them. "Are you my new mentor? Hell no."
Silentmutter looked over at his apprentice when the small tom approached, dual toned eyes taking him in. What did he miss? "Not much. Reassignments, new warriors, new apprentices, skinning some ridiculous loner." Yup, totally all that happened. Mhm. His roleplayer is sorry for the terrible post.
