Now this seemed interesting. A hunting event? Most importantly a competitive hunting event. Tatteredstone was pushing herself up from where she had been dozing off moments ago. Trotting over, she slowed down the closer she got until she found a nice little spot to sit and wait, mostly observe as well. Like which cats seemed to be joining the event for example.

Fallenspirit padded over, glancing around at the other cats. None of them he was really friendly with at the moment, but maybe that would change. The tom's icy glare raked across the clearing as he sat down and awaited further instruction. Maybe this would force him to properly socialize. StarClan knows he needs it.

Pikepaw bounded over, now a challenge sounded like real good fun. He didn’t exactly know how to hunt yet but he was certain it couldn’t be that hard. Oh look, Friggy was here. ”Heyyyyyy Friggy! Guess who’s gonna win.” He gave a smile and a rather charming wink in his brother’s direction, he couldn’t possibly lose to that furball without a damned good fight.

If he was right Frigidpaw didn’t know how to hunt yet either, so maybe he’d be lucky and simply have a knack for it.

Firepaw's energy always surprised Sprucepaw for a few moments. Today was no exception, though this time it included a nickname and... A nuzzle? She wasn't sure what to make of that. Wasn't it something that only family and mates did? She was so taken back that it took her a moment to process the rest of his words. "Thanks... We can be friends. And um, teammates."

She looked over at Spiderpaw as she approached. Another cat she knew, though had only met recently like Firepaw. They got a long well enough, with their similar personalities. Did that make them friends? Ugh, friendships were so hard to figure out. "Hi, Spiderpaw. It looks like we're making a team, if you want to join. I... Can't fish yet, but it seems like Firepaw can so... Um... I'm not sure where I was going with that, but it'd be nice to have you with us."

Shineclaw looked at all the cats and saw fallenspirit who he didn't know if he would want to team but he looked at waterpaw his apprentice and looked back at fallenspirit it was worth a try and he walked over to him "hello again fallenspirit you looking for a team mate or two?" He asked.

"hi! we should all be friends! that be super cool!" he smiled more "ohhh I'd have 2 friends!" he bounces a bit as he goes over to the other apprentice and gives him a lick to the ear as a friendly greeting "yeah, we can all be friends and teammates!" he declared proudly as he lifted his tail and puffed out his chest with a look of pride and happiness in his eyes. ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆

Egretswoop padded over as the event was called. She was always looking to work on her hunting skills, or any skill really. Quietly she took a seat, wrapping her tail around her paws. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to pick a teammate or get assigned one, so she opted to wait.

Spiderpaw's ears perked at the invitation. "Sure, I can fish, too." She mewed. At least it looked like a team was coming together for them. That was pretty nice. It meant that she really didn't have to approach anyone, though she didn't know how big the teams would be in the end. They might still wind up with a few that she didn't know all that well.

Spotting the fiery warrior across the way, Spiderpaw dipped her head in a sheepish greeting to Fallenspirit before she was caught off-guard by a lick to her ear. Her head jerked back in surprise at the gesture. Well, at least Firepaw seemed friendly... "Yeah..." She replied after a moment, relaxing again despite the bouncy apprentice.
