Eels were rare? Even better! Wisteria hummed her pleasure at Adder's comment about her eyes, flicking her plumed tail. "Why thank you! Your fur is very beautiful, you know." She saw what her mate was doing, and reached out a paw to trail it in the stream as well. "Ooh that's a lovely temperature! Want to go to the shallower parts and take a dip?" Wisteria asked the tan and orange she-cat.

@Moondew (we should get one called Butterfly maybe.. and yeah, I'm really excited! I'll purchase Monkey's Paw (and maybe Bundle Of Babies..) and then put up a kit finder, inabout one or two weeks!)

Swimming? That wasn't something Adder could really do. Her kithood home was dry and barren, with occasional rains and pools. But she could try, it wasn't like she would drown. Wisteria would be there to help if that did happen. "Ok, as long as there aren't any magic twoleg waterfalls this time." She stepped into the river. It was a lot colder than she had expected. Her paw must have been lying to her. It was deeper than she had thought, too. "Wisteria, you do know how to swim, right?"

Could she swim? "Uhh.. No, not really." She said with a slightly nervous giggle. "I meant lets go to the shallower parts; it'll only reach a bit past our ankles there, and we can lie down!" Wisteria pulled Adder gently out of the water and then trotted further down the stream. After about a minute or two of walking, they reached a part when the river was wider and the water was much less deep on the sides; the middle was still fairly deep, but maybe not as much as other areas. "Come on Beautiful Venom! It's nice here." The white and pale yellow kittypet waded into the ankle-deep water and lay down, letting the stream wash over her fur.

@Moondew (good idea! I'll get it up in about a week, like I said before, and purchase the Purrk. Should I get her Bundle Of Babies? Does that work on all of her litters, or just the one?)

Yes, lying down in the water sounded fun. Adder allowed herself to be dragged out of the river, shaking out her dripping pelt. She walked with Wisteria down to the shallow bit. This was definitely shallower, with tiny fish darting around the pebbles on the riverbed. She lay down, her tail streaming out behind her and her short fur flowing in the current. "I could never have done stuff like this back where I used to live. We didn't have any rivers, for a start."
@Dreamheart (the purrk description implies you can use it as many times as you like without rebuying it, but i don't rhink you should get it. If they had 5 kits, thas 7 cats total which is the max outsider group size. You should wait until they join a clan first to use BOB)

Wisteria listened intently to Adder's description, and blinked her golden eyes in surprise. "No rivers? Well, that sounds awfully dry! How on earth did you get water?" The kittypet asked, looking slightly cutely puzzled. Her pale yellow tail flicked lazily in the water, and she batted playfully at a fish with her yellow paws. Her long white coat was pretty soaked now, and she was pleasantly cool in the streams water.

@Moondew (ok! I might get her Baby Boomer for this litter at least, because then we won't have to wait for the birth or anything.. And thanks for the reminder of group size I cannot remember anything lol )

"Well, it rained sometimes, and there were ponds and stuff. A couple small streams, not much wider than a paw's length. Nothing big enough to actually swim in. And not many plants, either. Just some bushes that looked like sticks." She paused, remembering how the sun had mercilessly beat down, sometimes hot enough to burn your paws if you stepped on stone. She was glad she had escaped that dead land. "There weren't many animals, either. Just some mice, shrews, and snakes. So many snakes."

Wisteria listened to her mate talk about her home place; it sounded dry and dead. It's a wonder that Adder turned out like she is, if she grew up in such a depressing place. She was so much better! "Lots of snakes? That doesn't sound fun, especially since you're allergic to snake venom! How ever did you turn out so perfect, if you were raised there?" The kittypet shuddered slightly at the thought of Adder getting bitten too many times and- no no, she's alive, she's perfect, she survived. "Well, the shrews sound nice! I've never seen one of those either."
