My newest impulsive decision, ChickadeeKit! And! I’m hoping to do a post challenge for him (that maybe been seen around), I also just want this kid to have an action packed and busy life! He is a VanVain kit and I am so happy to have him. He has 10 littermates, and a half-brother (FreezingFury), nieces nephews, his grandfather is WormBite, his aunt is StormStar, and so much more I have yet to find out! So, below is his application form just so you can get a feel for him!

ChickadeeKit is the kind of kit who walks into a room like he owns it—and somehow convinces everyone else he does too. Bursting with energy and charm, he's confident to the point of cocky, but it’s hard to hold it against him when he backs it up with genuine talent and wit. He thrives in the spotlight, constantly cracking clever remarks and challenging others to little competitions no one else agreed to. While he can be a bit much at times, ChickadeeKit means well; his boldness comes from a big heart and a bigger dream. Under all that bravado is a sharp mind, a love for his Clan, and a desire to prove himself—not because he thinks he’s better than everyone, but because he wants to be the best version of himself for them.

“Rules to Be Like Me” — A Chickadee’Kit Manifesto

Rule #1: Always walk like the ground is lucky to have your paws.
Confidence isn’t just in your words. It’s in your strut. Even if you just tripped over your own tail (which I never do), act like it was part of the plan. The moss got in my way? No. I let the moss live.
Rule #2: Never admit defeat. Even if you trip, say you were testing gravity.
Losing isn’t a thing. If someone says I lost a race, they misunderstood. I was scouting from behind. Or maybe I let them win — to boost morale or something. You know, heroic stuff.
Rule #3: Don’t fish for praise. Fish for fish. Then demand praise.
Fish is important. So is attention. But you don’t ask for it. You just do something incredible (like catching a leaf midair) and then act surprised when everyone cheers. “What, me? Oh, stop it. Okay, go on…”
Rule #4: Make everything a competition, even if no one else knows they’re playing.
I’ve already won three races today — two were against shadows and one was against the wind. They lost. Obviously. Life’s more fun when you treat it like a challenge.
Rule #5: If someone doubts you, outrun their expectations.

Oops. Too late. Already did. And you know what? I didn’t fall in. I mean, I did, but on purpose. I needed a drink.
Rule #6: Never, ever let someone else have the last word.
Unless it’s me saying “I win.” Which, let’s be honest, is most of the time.
Rule #7: Never pass up a reflective surface.
If there’s a puddle, I will look. Call it vanity, call it self-awareness, call it a strategic evaluation of my angles.
Rule #8: Questions are powerful weapons.
I ask a lot of them. Not because I don’t know the answer, but because I need to know if you do.
Rule #9: The world’s a stage, and I’m already the star.
The rest of you are just lucky to be in the same scene. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you all get good lighting too.


CHICKADEEKITS FUTURE
Chickadee isn't just all fluff and flair — he’s got layers. Over time, I plan to slowly pull back the curtain on his ego, showing that a lot of his confidence is a defense mechanism. He deeply wants to feel important, needed, and irreplaceable, especially with having so many siblings around, which can make him controlling or jealous in the future. Maybe he doesn't get chosen for a patrol. Maybe someone else gets more praise. These moments will hit him harder than they should, because they challenge his carefully-built self-image.

He’ll start seeking real approval, not just attention and that changes how he acts. He’ll learn to take criticism (slowly, awkwardly). He’ll learn that he doesn’t have to perform to be loved. And maybe, just maybe, he’ll become a cat who still has flair but also patience, loyalty, and quiet strength. (But don’t worry — he’ll always be dramatic. That’s the brand.)


CHICKADEES VERY VITAL OPINIONS
VERVAINMA: Chickadee respects his mother in a way that might seem like it borders on idolization. She’s graceful, pretty, and cool to him. But he’s also a little bit of a brat about it. He wants her to see him as more than a mischievous kit — he wants her to see him as a force of nature. However, he always looks to her for comfort after his more ridiculous stunts, whether he’ll admit it or not.
VANTADAD: While Vanta is more reserved, Chickadee sees his dad as the “silent powerhouse” of the family. He admires his stoic presence but is often trying to coax him into letting his guard down for some family fun. He’ll boast that his dad's cool, though he doesn't fully understand the layers to Vanta's calm demeanor. Sometimes he gets frustrated with Vanta’s “serious” attitude, but it also keeps him intrigued.




Dear Mom and Dad,
So, I was thinking... I’m awesome, right? And like, I’m only going to keep getting more awesome, so... I’m basically the next big thing. I know you’re proud of me already. (You should be.) But like, I’m gonna be even more impressive when I’m older. Maybe I’ll even get a super cool warrior name that matches my greatness.
I haven’t climbed the tree yet, but that’s only because I’m too busy learning all the important stuff about leadership. And... how to eat all the best fish before anyone else notices.
But seriously, thanks for being the best parents. I mean, I am great, so I must have awesome genetics or something, right? Anyway, I’ll be the biggest star in RiverClan in no time, so just wait.

There are so many mixed possibilities for how cats view this energetic, attention-seeking kitto! Feel free to decide. He’s available for and friends, enemies, frenemies, best friends, acquaintances, all that! I may be a bit picky on best friends as…well…he’s picky! And he would likely get a little squad of close friends that he ‘leads’ around and teaches them…StarClan knows what!
He is also open for interacting with apprentices and picking their brains, or the same with warriors for lessons! Keep into consideration he isn’t born yet! (He will be on the 20th).

Personality: Pragmatic, curious, polite, observant, and ambitious (check his bio)

Relation to Chickadee: Snowkit would be fairly fascinated by Chickadeekit's pride and sort of starting to follow him around to observe him - his own little contained phenomenon to figure out - while Chickadeekit might like to have someone's full attention when they're together. And I think it could be either a nice friendship or a strange falling out as the grow, either way it could be fun

Personality: She's pretty gentle and honest. Not brutally honest, though. She likes hanging out with kits because the other apprentices make fun of her, and she's already pretty insecure. She is light-hearted, well-mannered, and supportive. She finds Chickadee pretty funny, and likes hanging out with him (even if he insults her because he is probably brutally honest and she can't tell the difference between an abusive friend and a teasing friend). She is silly and easily humiliated.
Relation to Chickadee: I don't think their related through blood, so maybe just a friend/mentor/kitsitter
Interaction Idea: She could be asked by his parents to look after him, and they spend an afternoon together.

Personality: If there's one word to describe her, its curious. She always has questions just bursting in her mind about everything. Although she's (almost) never afraid to ask questions, she's ambiverted, leaning on the shy side. She loves figuring things out and learning new things, especially things that other people don't know. She loves exploring out on her own, discovering things that way, too. She makes sure to be careful. Aside from her thirst for knowledge, she's actually pretty sweet once you get to know her. Mintkit hates loud noises or startling movements.
Relation to Chickadee: Well, it really is all just up to roleplay, right? I could see Mintkit thinking Chickadee is a bit silly (but not in a bad way), and I could see them becoming friends.
Interaction Idea: Maybe Mintkit would meet Chickadeekit through her brother, Snowkit (@Luminous). Or something else.
