Spiderpaw padded into the elder's den carrying a wad of fresh bedding. She thought it might be a good day to help the elder's some. She approached the nest of a red elder tom, Fox-something she believed, and set the moss down so she could speak. "Um...g-good morning." She mewed with a respectful dip of her head. "Mind if I refresh your bedding?" She offered, her head tilted to the side slightly.

Foxskipper finished pulling the twig that was bundled up in his tail out from the shades of russet before turning his head to address the helpful apprentice with a grin. "G'mornin'." The elder tried to place his paw on the apprentice's name, going through his brain and trying to pick out the newest ceremonies that have happened lately... Spiderpaw? Yeah, that sounded right, not to be confused with Spiderlingpaw, that one was one of the deputy's kin. "Aw thank you kiddo, here let me get out of the way here." He laughed good naturely as he slowly pulled himself onto his three working paws to amble out of his nest. "How're this fine mornin'?" The tom asks, trying for a friendly ice breaker.

Hivepaw glanced at the peak of scars with interest. "Oh yes, please! Was it in a battle? A fox?" they asked quickly. The young apprentice's dropped into a sit and got comfortable to hear the story.

Spiderpaw couldn’t help a smile, this elder seemed so nice and goofy! She set to work once he settled himself outside of his nest, pulling out the scrapes of old bedding and replacing it with fresh bedding, taking care to reshape the nest nicely. “It’s…fine.” She responded in answer to his question, without looking up from her task. She didn’t really want to give Foxskipper the real answer…that she was lonely.

I don’t think that any cat would even miss me if I left… But she kept this thought to herself. Just because her kin went missing and left her all alone, didn’t mean that she had to as well. Quite the opposite in fact, Spiderpaw hoped to make herself useful. She just…wasn’t sure how to go about that. Once she finished with the nest, she noticed the twig that Foxskipper had removed from his fur. Spiderpaw picked up the twig and set it aside with the old bedding before sitting next to the elder with a small, warm smile. “H-Here…let me help you.” She offered, craning her neck to groom the area where Foxskipper removed the twig, careful to thoroughly work out any knots the twig had gotten tangled in or left behind.

The big cat huffed in amusement and took another bite of his prey.
As he chewed, he squinted a little and tried to remember all the details.

"ah!" BearWillow meowed, remembering what happened, "It was when I was a younger warrior, ambitious and brave-.. Not unlike a lot of young warriors now, But anyway I was on a patrol and I saw this--!"

The elder made a spitting noise. "This rouge was eating our prey! Mind you this was in leaf-bare when ThunderClan would need it most!" He bit into the rabbit again. "Me being the proud young cat I was, I said a few words of warning than attacked."

BearWillow stopped and tilted his head as if to see if there was any questions, though he wasn't done with his story.

the boxy elder walked in with a medium sized mouse in his maw and sat down next to foxskipper " Hey foxy purred mudtrot with a smile brought you a mouse if ya wanna eat it he offered pushing over the mouse with his large paw " or we could share, but we don't have to. suggested with a roll of his shoulder.

Chasmpaw laid on the ground, all stretched out. Her left ear flicked and she was a bit bored.

BearWillow lay in his nest while contently
grooming his long and fluffy tail, which
might have looked a little awkward to
any cats who were around him since
he had to twist his body a certain
way.

That DAMN leg!!

is what he'd tell ya if you asked him.
That damn leg is always the reason
for everything, huh BearWillow?

After he was satisfied with the way
his tail fur looked, he turned and
gave his poofy chest fur a few great
licks. Even big hefty, "grumpy" elders
like to be clean.

Again satisfied, he tucked his big paws
underneath his belly and started to snooze.
Hopefully no-one will disturb his peaceful
and snore filled slumber...

Alpinemoon entered the Elders' Den with some fresh moss. She had picked the moss that was outside the den. The she-cat padded over to an empty space and dropped the moss. Alpinemoon began to make a nest with it.
