Beepaw scampered out of the apprentice den, his little bobbed tail waving as he went to jumping on little bugs.

Rowanlark harrumphed, ears pulling back as he pouted. "You scared me first," he whined, tail curling around himself. There he was, just relaxing in the cool air, when suddenly Fleetfoot came out of nowhere! Of course he would be scared! Hmph.
No use fretting over it for too long, though. It wasn't like he had been attacked by, like, a hoard of very angry mice or... something. So the fluffy warrior, still a bit shaken up by his fright, tilted his head and asked, "what're you doing anyway?"
Fleetfoot plopped herself into a sit. "I was..." She pauses. Should she admit she was simply playing with a leaf, or should she try to play it off as some sort of practice? I mean, she was a warrior, not a kit, after all. She shrugs, admitting the truth. She'd always been a playful cat, anyway. "I was playing with this leaf." She swats the leaf she dropped, swiping it away with her paw.

As Echobarley jumped up in shock, Ashpaw burst into laughter. Very, very loud laughter. It was honestly kind of unnerving. Wow, they hadn’t laughed like this since.. hm. For over 6 moons, that was for sure. Well, nothing in Shadowclan was very funny. This wasn’t the time to dwell on that, though. Ashpaw quickly resumed their normal demeanor, their laughter settling after a brief moment as they looked to Nettlepaw before turning back to face the two warriors.
“That was.. something! Anyway, moving on.. this seems like quite the moment for me to.. let you all know of something, you could say something rather important. Nothing bad, of course.. I think.” they began, before looking to see if everyone was paying attention as they spoke.

Nettlepaw snickered at Echobarley and Dragonflycliff, but settled down quicker than Ashpaw.
“Echobarley, you.. have very.. good reflexes.” They remarked slowly, her normal pace of speech.
However, as Ashpaw began to start their announcement, he turned to face their sibling in intrigue.
“..Hm? What’s.. up.. Ashpaw?”
Dragonflycliff, settled into these new friends (clearly) looked at Ashpaw.
Echobarley looked at them too. "Hm?" he said, Dragonflycliff just staring without a word (that's what she do)
She was back!!!! Back again!!!! Now, she had to go bother all of her siblings! And Spiderdad! Matniskit sprung up from her laying spot, and ran a bit. She could run! Like, actually! Not running and falling down every second. "I'M BACK!!!!!!" She screamed.
Horentpaw was sat, calmly cleaning her coat. She'd get moving soon, but she just wanted to take a little break now and focus on her pelt. That was, till she heard a voice.
Look. Who. It. Was!!!! "MANTISKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!! Oh my gosh!!!!!" She bounded on over, relief filling her chest. Honestly, thank the stars those medicine cats finally got their act together. She hated to admit it, but she'd actually been worrying a little bit. "I'm so glad you got out! How was it in that nasty sick place?!"

Spiderlingpaw wasn't often the one to be acting particularly wild, she was more likely the be mischievous, but this was a reunion! Mants was back from the sick camp, and that surely meant Mits and daddy were definitively back too. That is why today the newly named apprentice was seen rushing across half the clearing at high speed, arms opening wide to pull her sister into a giant hug. "MANTS!!"
She greeted happily.

Flowerhawk had been rather busy as of late, between training, patrols, and other duties. She’d had talks here and there, but most of them were related to duties or went weird directions. She needed something casual and normal, like a long conversation with someone she knew well. Unfortunately, she didn’t know anyone well. Blackbird was the closest she could think of, but she couldn’t see him anywhere. That was alright, really; last time they’d talked, it got a little uncomfortable. Maybe they could fix it with some one-on-one time later. She spotted a cat with pretty, rosetted fur. Flowerhawk envied cats with unique patterns. Her brown tabby fur was so generic, even boring, in comparison.
She was going to talk to the cat with the pretty pelt.
“Hi!” the warrior mewed as she approached. She shoved her insecurities to the back of her mind, determined to not let them show to a cat she’d just met. “I’m Flowerhawk. And you are…?” She gave the she-cat a moment to respond before adding her usual, odd conversation starter. “We say that everything is possible. Does that mean it’s still possible for anything to be impossible?”

Frostpaw walks into the clearing. It is so nice today. Sure it is pretty chilly, but he doesn’t mind. It is his name after all, well not exactly, but leaf-bare is always his favorite season. He loves the cold and he loves snow. He really wanted to make some new friends, he was craving social interactions.

The lithe calico whirls around to face the owner of the voice, her pale blue hues widening slightly in panic. Oh starclan. Where is Acornfall when she needs him? Well, she technically already knows the answer to that -he's probably out hunting or replacing the nests in the nursery again- but she still wishes he was here to calm her down. She never knows what to do in these types of situations. A random cat, now known to be Flowerhawk, is talking to her. But it's okay though, she planned out conversations last night and- nevermind! Flowerhawk has already asked her a question, stars, that's quite an outside of the box query. Hmm, well personally, she's never understood that particular phrase. Not everything is possible, that would be simply ridiculous. For example, she can't sprout wings and fly away from this interaction (if such a thing were possible she'd already have taken off)! So, honestly that would be a really great way of putting it. She flicks a curled ear, wrapping her tail around her as she draws on the very obsolete amount of courage she possesses so she might be able to make an actual sound.
"U-uh, I suppose s-s-so, a lot o-of things aren't p-possible after all," She says softly, shuffling her paws as she meets the other she's greenish gaze, "O-oh! M-my name's Briarmask, n-nice to meet you."
Her stutter always gets worse when she's nervous,
she has only recently been able to speak without it and that is only with her mate, Acornfall. It's weird to think about her having a mate, of all the cats, but that is a rabbit trail she really shouldn't revert her focus to. She needs her full attention on this conversation, maybe she can even make a friend? Stars, another weird concept, her having enough social prowess to make friends all on her own. She would laugh if she weren't so self-conscious.
(No worries!! You gotta hate it when that happens!)
Ah, a nervous one. That was okay. Flowerhawk found that she often got along with the quiet, nervous type, especially when she did most of the talking. They were afraid to talk too much, mostly, and Flowerhawk could fill the space. She wondered if the other molly always stuttered this badly. Flowerhawk herself didn’t exactly stutter, but she always messed up her words, especially when nervous. No messing anything up so far, though. She prayed it would stay that way. It was always embarrassing to say “it’s Flowerhawk to meet you” or “do you think water thirsts for fish,” or whatever it was she’d said to Blackbird.
“It’s nice to meet you too, Briarmask,” she responded with a purr. “I agree. If everything was possible, we’d have immortal cats and flying mice and—and maybe infinite territory! Can you imagine how different things would be if nothing was impossible? You’d never see me again, I’d spend all my life sleeping if I could!” The joke wasn’t great, but she hoped it would ease Briarmask. Although, spending your whole life sleeping didn’t sound too bad. She’d miss talking to people, of course, and—well, the more she thought about it, more downsides popped into her head. Maybe it wouldn’t be so great.
Cormorantswoop batted at a leaf with a massive black forepaw. (Closed, activity)

Briarmask
Okay, well at least Flowerhawk seems friendly.
That's good, otherwise she might be even more uncomfortable right now. It takes her a moment to realize the the other molly made a joke though, kinda just... sitting there with a painfully awkward little smile for a couple seconds. Oh starclan,
just give her a hole to crawl into and let her stay there for the rest of her life! Briarmask lets out a little giggle, her face flushed from her awkward disposition. Why must she always embarrass herself like this? She takes a deep breath before shaking her head and putting on a bright smile. No. She can do this. She can do this! She just has to... hype herself up is all!
"U-uh, I would probably b-be found flying over t-the forest!" She chirps with a nervous laugh to follow it, her tail wrapping itself around her leg, "S-so... umm, why d-did you decide to talk t-to me of all c-cats?"
Her curiosity got the better of her. In her head she was repeating over and over again; don't ask her that! Don't do it! She's going to think you don't want to talk to her, but you do- ish... Maybe it was the last 'ish' that made her say it. Or she really just wants to know. Like really, there is nothing about her that really stands out! She's always been in the background, enjoying the peace of the places no one wants to sit, watching her clanmates' comraderie and smiling at the sight, but lately she feels more and more cats have walked into her life. First Acornfall, and then through him she sort of met Slypaw, Chasmpaw, and Nightwhisper, then again through her mate she met his sister Mothflame, and now here she is conversing with Flowerhawk! So many cats. So very many. Looking back on it now, she almost views it as an accomplishment.
