Dizzycloud yawned and dragged herself over to whatsitsname, oh right Grimpeak, not wanting to get fully up. She refused to walk like a normal cat and crouched the whole way there, leaving an obvious trail in the soil behind her. It hurt her legs, but other than that it was comfy so that was how it was going to stay no matter how many people would (fairly) question how she walked. As long as it didn't harm anyone, she was good. She blinked, then found a spot which seemed pretty remote from the rest of the people, including Dawnstar. She would be fine at the Grimpeak with the announcements, but they still weren't great and out of preference she'd choose that area to lay down.

She stretched her paws, her claws reaching out of her toes, before retracting her weapons and legs entirely into the endless sea of soft poof. She yawned at the same time, extending her neck very lonk, then turning to Grimpeak. Say, she had never realized how it was kinda... dark? Ah well, t's not like the tree could kill her. Unless it. Fell over. But uhhh not gonna happen! Or she would scream really freakin hard at Dawnstar for choosing a really dumb meeting spot! Well, maybe not, that'd hurt her ears, ouch. Some people had already started talking, like idiots. Cats didn't like noisesn their name being said. For some strange masochists called social butterflies apparently thought it was a good thing to talk to other cats. Wait. Ok maybe it was a Dizzycloud thing, like reciting random words when no one else was around. How would she know that was a her thing, though? She kinda assumed she was the only one who did that, but she was never around other cats when no one was around said cat, so maybe it's not a Dizzycloud thing. Ah, anyway, announcements were starting soon probably.

Yellowtwist darted from the warrior den to the Grimpeak. He sat down. Well, this was sure to be an interesting meeting. First one at the grimly-named Grimpeak and a medicine cat apprentice to be announced. Speaking of apprentices, how would he teach pigeonpaw about the territory he knew nothing about? Would there be a massive mandatory territory tour? Actually, that sounded like a pretty good idea. except for the disgusting cannibal murderer that was potentially still alive being in the midst of a clan's worth of cats. Granted, murder wasn't especially subtle, and they would be where everyone could see them. Alright, not a concern, then, leading to the conclusion his idea was perfect. As always.

But anyway, yay new high rank. It seemed like Shadowclan was going through them faster than usual. Despite what you think he might react to this with, it put a smile on his face. He would be more likely to become a deputy with that going, staying there and getting credit for it, and eventually maybe in three hundred years Dawnstar would die and he would get to be leader. What that meant was: he would have an entire controlled mob Yellowtwist could throw at Thunderclan with only a tiny bit of propaganda! And the only price to pay would be putting in the work to keep idiots out of his clan and keeping everyone else from becoming an idiot. He would do that anyway but the mob was just as great.

High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

The leader was silent for a long moment after the cats had gathered. Missing, she was still missing quite a few. She was not happy about having to send out a patrol to look for them, but she did need to check how much damage was done to the territory so why not have them search and check out damage?

"Bleedingkit, if you miss this call I swear you'll wait until your six moons to be apprenticed," Dawnstar growled, in search of her daughter's youngest hairball. The leader still needed to get to the bottom of the whole incident, but she had yet to find time to talk to Lostspark about it after this meeting. "Tickkit, Honeykit, we'll also do your apprentice ceremonies."

Darkfall and Hawkbite had managed to bring the missing kit back yesterday. She also needed to talk to him to set a proper punishment for Moonpaw if required. She'd collect the kit and Lostspark after the meeting, and probably Quietpaw and Moonpaw. Ah, and then there was the headache with her Enforcers!

Mossfreckle had found an apprentice as well, it had surprised her that he had managed to do so during all the chaos. He wasn't Elmshadow, but slowly he was working his way into her favor.

"Sleepypaw, Tuftedtusk, Briarsplash, Foxear, and I finished marking the new borders and landmarks. We've additional hunting grounds, the Dawning Woods, and the Darkwater Mire. Some bushes contain deathberries at Darkwater Mire. If you hunt there don't go near the bushes. I'll speak with the rest of our high ranks and Enforcers and work on a plan to remove the bushes. If we start having poisoning issues on our paws, I will forbid any cat from going to the Mire until I figure out what to do with the bushes." She announced while waiting for the kits to gather.

"The Evergreen Grotto is a good place to hunt for herbs. You may hunt there if you are careful. There really should not be much of a reason to hunt there considering we're not lacking in hunting territory."

"If you haven't been made aware, cats are allowed out of camp in patrols of three or more, and only if you have permission from one of the Enforcers, me, Mistlewhisker, or Mossfreckle. If you break the rule, you get a demotion for seven sunrises. Continue to break that rule and I'll come up with more punishments. We still have a killer that needs to be found." She had not forgotten about the Whitetwist murder and the lack of a culprit. That new restriction would remain in place until she deemed it safe to go out alone.

attention shifting from his grandmother to his sister, quillpaw scoffed. quietpaw. not that he has a problem with her, but he definitely has a problem with that attitude. so sassy! "instead of asking me why im smiling - how about you smile for once? at this rate, you're going to sour my mood for the next three moons to come." he quips in a sharp tone, one brow raised. he then looks back up to dawnstar on the grimpeak once his grandma speaks up.

bleedingkit...oh, yeah. the little blonde furball. that moony hated with his whole being..his brother had made that clear during that whole hot mess of a family meeting. "tickkit is a cruel name, don't you think?" he murmurs to quietpaw, sparing his sister a brief glance. there are worse names, though, I suppose, he figures with a click of his tongue. bile. rot. fish.

dawning woods, darkwater mire, evergreen grotto.., he thinks. with the sheer stupidity some of his clanmates displayed (not to mention the murderer), quillpaw reasons that there's going to be at least one incident regarding the deathberries. "what do you think about this whole murderer thing? any suspects in mind?" the tabby inquires, gaze settling on quietpaw again. there's just a hint of amusement in his eyes.

The bengal kitten had slept deeply last night in the aftermath of his ordeal, pressed up against Lostsparks belly and refusing to be budged. He'd not really had a chance to look around the new camp, too occupied with getting his injuries from the crow treated and reuniting with his loved ones to sooth the fear thats been caused by the event. Now in the light of the new morning he had a chance to look around, finding the new camp an interesting change. It wasnt a ravine with the old camp, and instead a cedar grove populated by both large healthy trees and the fallen trunks of older trees that created the new dens. That was nice at least, it meant not much needed to be done to build long lasting living spaces for the clan.

Still, those were minor observations he'd made while looking for more major ones. Miss Tiger was mad. It was understandable, Bleedingkit had been a bad kitten in running away and shouldve been good and stayed away or just dedicated to being selfish and not run in the first place. In the wake of his actions lotsa effort and herbs had been wasted on him (visible with how his fur was speckled white with cobwebs and the apprentice smells of herbs).

The kitten needed to find a way to be better, to make up for things because one crow as big as it was was not enough and Bleedingkit didnt want Miss Tiger to be mad at him.

He wanted no one to be mad at him really, but at least everyone else had simple seemed relieved. So now here he was, quietly huddled next to his Mama and Mirepaw being polite and listening. There was one cat the bengal made an effort to reach out to though as, spotting the cat who was rapidly becoming his favorite tom, Bleedingkit reached out a little golden paw and pat patted Hawkbites own.

The kitten didnt have time to do much more though as Dawnstar called and the bengal was not going to let her down again!

Rocking to his paws using his Mama as a kinda crutch the kitten quickly wobbled over to the front in clear view of the leader, managing to not fall for once despite the quick pace. The tom had been getting better about that really, not falling while running if the path was smooth, though he still sat instead of staying standing for better stability.
"Im here Miss T-Dawnstar! Im ready!"
Which felt like the truth despite his still bandaged form. Bleedingkit had survived the territory on his own and killed the crow that'd tried to kill him and made sure it was brought home for the clan. It wasnt enough, he needed to be better, stronger, and contribute more so he'd be worth keeping and that required being an apprentice. So he'd be one.

Freezeheart limped out from the elders den, the senior she-cat rarely made her apperance during meetings and wouldn't be surprised if some heads turned. Freezeheart fixed her icey blue gaze on her leader and gave a raspy mrrow. Looking around the elder seemed to need help. (OPEN <3)

The announcements began with three kits to be apprenticed, two of which were new (she had not missed Bleedingkit's tardiness last time, and was pleased to see him be the first to step up this meeting). It was a usual start, she had come to understand, before Miss Grandmama dived into the specifics of the announcements. She could not lie and say hearing Miss Grandmama speak her name among those who patrolled the new territory alongside Miss Grandmama displeased her; it was an honour, and Sleepypaw could only appreciate the jumpstart on learning of these new grounds. It had taken time getting used to ShadowClan's previous landmarks, she wanted to waste no time in learning these new ones.

Dawning Woods and Darkwater Mire were the new hunting landmarks, and Evregreen Grotto a landmark for herbs (with a discouragement to hunt there) - she recalled the bushes of deathberries within Darkwater Mire and the intricate dance to avoid them touching her wispy pelt.

The next bit of news was one Sleepypaw carefully committed to mind, however bothersome it proved to be for her. Territory trips with a minimum of three and required permission from high ranks or enforcers; this would surely pose an issue with her training, and the request she had in mind - now that she had battle training, the apprentice wished to be able to walk the grounds without the requirement of a warrior and had been intending on asking Miss Grandmama for permission. But with these rules, right now, she was sure to be rejected. Even so, Sleepypaw kept the thought in mind - a request for the future, it seemed, as the youngling was not intent on disobeying her grandmother.

An angry trill left Quietpaw's throat at Quillpaw's retort. Tch, so infuriating! Her? Smile? Not now, she was in no mood to give him a chesire grin at the moment or any time this life so he'd have to lower his expectations, not that he met any of hers anyways. He was tolerable at the least, though she was starting to regret thinking so highly of him. "Oh I'm so sorry your highness, I didn't realise your mood was so fragile." She hissed through gritted teeth before turning her focus to grandmother as the tabby continued with the meeting.

And now Bleedingkit's ceremony. Wonderful. Her baby brother would have to be quick as shown by Dawnstar's warning. Luckily he was the first to step up this time. Quietpaw would've given him a small smile but she'd already vowed not to...she couldn't just lie to herself. It irked her when cats tried to decieve her, how ironic would it be if she tried to do that to her own mind? Ugh, why were her words against her this time?

Cyan gaze flickering to her brother as he commented about one of the kits names. Cruel? Perhaps. Tickkit wasn't that dreadful in her opinion afterall, look what their mother named her. Quietpaw. She could be snappy when she wanted to be so her name really didn't make sense. Another thing that irritated her. However the only thing she muttered in response was: "Depends." If the kit was named for some disability or something then it was a little harsh but if not she really didn't know.

Oh goodie, new landmarks...and one was covered in deathberries, how convenient. Surely it wasn't smart to shout it out like that, afterall there was a murderer running around. Quillpaw appeared to show intrest in the whole fiasco since he asked about her guesses about the identity of the killer. "I think it's a cat who has nothing better to do with their time. They're most likely doing this for fun since they didn't bother to bury the bodies...or they're just very foolish and that doesn't narrow it down very much. I've got a couple dozen cats in mind." She meowed evenly giving her paws a few licks when she finished. Most of her clanmates weren't very bright in her eyes...she really couldn't care less about this serial killer as long as they didn't bother her she wouldn't go after them.
